My son and I will it with knotty reel in-shore fishing. Had a great time, caught 11 fish, five of which were keepers. Excellent company.

Had a blast with them. They wasn’t even open for the season yet but they went ahead and took us anyway on a short notice. But you wouldn’t have known they put it together in a days notice cause we had a good time from the time we got in the boat to where we started catching fish. I fought a huge shark for about two hours and they were very helpful in coaching you how to do it. So much fun thanks and we’ll be back

We hired Knotty Charters for our son’s surprise sunset engagement proposal and they made it very special. They where very accommodating and picked us up at the dock where we where camping. Took us down the river and was very knowledgeable about the area. When the sun was setting they position the boat in the right spot and he got down one one knee and popped the question. Had a blast with Capt Dan and Rob. Took the girls and Dawson out with Melissa. First time for girls to salt water fish. Caught a bunch of reds. Beautiful scenery in our night inshore trip. Dan was a great guide and took his time helping everyone. Will come back next time in Ft Walton!!

My first experience deep sea fishing was with these guys. They made me feel like family right away. I couldn’t believe how many fish we caught. I still get a big grin every time I remember that day. Needless to say I loved it! I highly recommend them and can’t wait to do it again!

Wow! It was made first time out and I was very impressed. These guys are not about selling you something. They are truly sport fisherman and have a love for what they do. Rob and Captain Dan know where the fish are and will take you to them! Red Snapper was in season and we caught fish for the week! Call them, you will not be disappointed!

These guys were excellent. Extremely friendly and proffesional. The entire trip was very well planned out and executed by the captain and first mate very well. They had a fun atmosphere out on the water and we were on the fish from the time we hit the water until we left. I highly recommend these guys for any of your fishing adventure needs.

Had the BEST time with Captain Dan and Dr. Rob. They worked us in on short notice, worked around rain clouds, and busted their tails the entire time. We went about 15-20 miles out and they took us right to the fish. We trolled for a little bit on the way. They explained what fish we were after, what our limits would be, and our strategy. When bringing the fish in they worked together like a well-oiled machine to work the boat and help get the fish in fast. Extra clean and professional. They got crazy-excited with every catch! And we left with enough bags of fresh fillets to fill the freezer!

Took a 6 hour off-shore trip with Reel Knotty back in mid-March. Having visited Destin over Spring Break for ~20 years, I have fished the larger party boats many times, but decided to give the charter a try. It was the right decision as our day with Reel Knotty was the best day of Gulf fishing we’ve ever had. We had an awesome day on the water thanks to Captain Dan and Rob. They immediately put us on the fish (triggers and even a few red snapper) and were great guys to hang with. Their boat is first class- loaded with technology to help locate structures/fish, while also getting you to their hot spots quickly. They were not only knowledgeable about technique, but they were also great instructors for our diverse group ranging from experienced to beginner. Captain Dan and Rob made it fun for our whole group- they are serious about fishing, but also laid back and very easy going which made the experience all the better. We will be back.

I surprised my wife with a private sunset dolphin cruise with Captain Rob. We received outstanding personal service on a state of the art boat, with as much (or as little) interaction as you choose. Captain Rob answered our many questions and told us about the Destin area and Eglin AFB while cruising out to the Gulf. He located a pod of around 40 beautiful dolphins playing and feeding at sunset just a few feet from the boat. The sunset from the water is spectacular. Our friends had recommended this charter company because they’ve used them for deep sea fishing. We definitely recommend any activity offered by this company!

The boats are comfortable and reliable with plenty of resources to get you out there to catch anything from 20+ pound Red Snapper to monster Amberjack thatll give you a run for your money. Highly experienced staff guided my friends and I to their secret honey holes loaded to the seams with a massive variety of pelagic species. They put us on the fish immediately and the action last all day.When we arrived back at the docks, they cleaned and bagged our fillets with ease which provided amazing meals for months to come. At market price we brought in over $1,000 worth in fish.Hands down a professional and more personal experience. Beat the crowds and check these guys out! You wont regret it

Rob and his dad captain bob super cool guys very friendly,genuinely great people thats the kind of guys to go fishin with makes for a great time out in the ocean fishin highly recommend it if traveling in the area.
