I have been a regular customer here at Fort Stewart Post Office and I have always had friendly, kind service.Mr. Carey, Ms. Wanda, and Cowboy are always nice!There was a young woman working there, I think Juliette is her name, she went out of her way to take good care of me when a package arrived damaged. She noticed the damage before I did, and handled it efficiently.IVE READ THE REVIEWS, AND THEY ARE SIMPLY NOT TRUE:1) Ive waited in line for maybe 15-20 minutes, even when I was at the end of a long line. NEVER have I seen an hour long wait at this post office. They are efficient and all hands at the counter when the lines are long.2) Ive filled out forms and seen others fill out forms. NEVER have I been told to get back in line, nor have I seen anyone else been told to get back in line. Always, I, or others Ive observed, have been told to fill out the form at the end of the counter, and bring it back. Ive even heard, more than once, you dont have to get back in line, just bring it back to me.3) As far as mail being open, Ive NEVER had my mail opened here or at any other location. Ive only recieved one damaged package at this, or any, post office, and it was promptly addressed and I was treated with respect.Yes, I will recommend this post office, and will continue to be a regular customer.

This is the worst post office in the nation. Service is slow, information is flat out wrong. I asked to insure my 120 year old homes abstract. I mailed them to a lawyer next day. I was told i could not insure documents. If these documents got lost it would cost me about 1k in lawyers fees to recreate this abstract. I had no choice but to ship them next day. 2 weeks later they finally got there. In the process i found out through my own research in could insure the cost of recreating the documents. The people at this post office are the worst. The mail carrier is really lazy and wont deliver any package where they have to get out of their car forcing peiple to have to go to the post office to get nearly any box that wont fit into the mail box. This entire staff needs to be fired. They think becase they are on a military base that we work for them

My husband has been receiving packages to build a computer for a busy and a lovely woman whom of which is the only one who wears a skirt at this location decides that instead of just using the yellow informed delivery card the last three days of receiving packages that theyre not at fault. I have had to go in with proof of delivery via my email to pick up my packages. Im sorry but when training people they really should have them use the cards since this isnt the first time weve waited for the appropriate time to pickup and havent seen a card yet our package was there. Im sorry if she doesnt want to do her job or is frustrated but interrupting me multiple times placing blame on myself and my husband isnt professional.

Absolutely Abysmal service. Took 30 minutes just to get to the counter jus to get a form, when I started as 4th in line. Several ahead of me filled their form out and went directly to the counter to turn it in. When I tried to do the same, the told me to get back in the line. There were now about 10 people in line. I was not about to spend another HOUR to turn in the form to send an overnight letter.Immediately left and went to the UPS store and was in and out in 4 MINUTES!!!!DO NOT USE THE FORT STEWART POST OFFICE!!!!!!!

Possibly the slowest post office in Georgia. Only one desk worker during the height of the holiday season and it takes an hour from them to process a single person.

Ms. Wanda and Ms. Juliet are always friendly and helpful. Even when the line gets really long. The USPS really need to hire another full time employee to help here or install an automated self service machine in the lobby for we can mail out our own packages ourselfs and/or buy stamps without waiting in line lines.

I was calling about a package that was supposed to be sent out to me and information on the whereabouts of the package and I thought it was a lost cause I called the mainline and all and couldnt get any help but I called this store and a guy name Carey helped me out extensively, my nerves were already shot and he kept me calm and did everything he could to help me I just didnt want his hard work to go unnoticed. Thank you Carey you deserve a raise!

Wait time is absolutely horrible even to simply pickup a package. Sometimes they will just look at the line with one register and won’t even assist. They have misplaced packages multiple times.

Got a PO Box so I could receive letters and care packages from home. The first batch of letters I had received had all be opened and all money was taken out (it was my birthday) and wasnt even sealed back up before it went into my PO box. That was just with the letters I received, 5 are still missing. And no its not where they were sent from since I have family all across the country and all of them were opened. Im out an estimated $500 and they basically told me to piss off when I brought it up. Shut down this horrible location

Lady at the front counter told me certified mail did not include a signature but was only tracking, which is what I originally needed, but it actually includes signature confirmation which has messed up mail and now its delayed. They need better training at this location. My letter is still who knows where.

The slowest and most mis managed usps station in Georgia. There is rarely more than one person working the counter even though there are Several people in the back. The Manager is aloof at best and rude at worst. They need to do better.

The worst post office in United States!! Had a package that was supposed to be delivered today and I watched the carrier drive for sat my house and go to the mailbox and then drove off and put on the tracking that they retried to deliver but no one answered the door!! It was a blonde hair female driving. Its crazy because I have a German shepherd dog that will go crazy if someone came to my door and in fact my front door was open with the screen door closed. I watched her out of my window. She is a liar and should be fired for playing with mail. I have had this happen on several occasions. I wish I. Oils give me his place a negative 5 stars!

Pretty awful USPS location. Always a long line, and always just 1 person working. Faster to drive to the Hinesville location to mail a package. All they need is 1 more person working at the counter and an Auotmated shipping machine in the lobby and it would massively improve the service . Making our military members wait for 20+++ minutes daily is unacceptable and a disgrace.

The lady who was at the front desk today was exceptionally rude. The lady she was helping in front of me, she rolled her eyes at and was taking a personal call on her Bluetooth device during her interaction with this women. When I got to her, she was short and told me “give me a yes or no on the key pad” and when I said “how about a ‘would you please’” she wanted to argue with me about how she spoke to me. When I asked if she was new (because I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and have never seen her) she ignored me. I think I’m going to put an ICE complaint in as well. And now I’m worried she will “lose” my package...

They are always losing packages. Placing them in the wrong mailboxes. They dont pay attention to detail. They are extremely lazy especially on the weekends.

This is the slowest post office I’ve ever been to. I got here at 1500 it is now 1525 and I am still standing in the same spot in line.

I have called this place multiple times during the week and cant believe no one answer. I order a packet and they put it in the wrong box 📦 thank god it wasnt gold .
