We signed with Amore Pools in May of 2020 and were promised we would be swimming in October 2020. Almost 11 months after signing the contract, what we have is a Gunite shell and incomplete deck. About 1/3 of the waterline tiles that were installed in November 2020 have fallen off. The deck was formed on December 29, 2020 and is still incomplete. As with most of the reviews, we began this process elated to finally begin our pool build.  Amore Pools has robbed my family and I of the joy and anticipation building a pool usually brings. Their crews rarely show up when promised and often work for a few hours, then leave with no explanation. Finally, the inconsistent and poor quality of work, along with misinformation from the owners do not meet the ethical standards expected from a reputable business. In response to the Owner: Every draw was paid for on time or in advance, the plumbing was paid for in November and is still not completed, not to mention the waterline tiles that were also paid for in November but have since fallen off. After these issues, of course, I asked that you complete the deck in its entirety prior to paying the next draw, which is my right. Please stop trying to rewrite history and take responsibility for your unethical practices and shoddy workmanship. Pictures are worth a thousand words…the fact that you consider this deck, the tiles and plumbing to be completed speaks volumes about your quality of work.

We had a free-form saltwater pool built by Amore Pools that is approximately 34’ x 14’. We also had a spillover spa, heater, automation system, and about 2k square feet of travertine decking installed. We are very happy with the final product.I like the fact that Brian uses the best quality equipment for each application. Jandy valves, Aquacal heater, and the Pentair pump all have been rock solid. The automation system works as it should. It’s so convenient to be able to control everything from an app on your phone. The lighting in the pool & sun deck, pump speed, heater, and bubbler feature are easily accessible within the app.Pool maintenance is very simple now that I’m comfortable with hooking up the vacuum that I purchased. I can just bring a sample of water to a pool supply store to let me know what chemicals to add and I’m good to go. The chlorination level in the app is always spot on compared to what the results show, so I know for sure what kind of salt levels the pool has. Needless to say, I’m easily able to maintain the pool myself. Brian was very thorough when doing “pool school” once the time came.Compared to other estimates we received, Amore was the best value for our money. In spite of them being a growing company, we can honestly say that our experience with Amore Pools was positive and they met our expectations with flying colors.

Signed with Amore 1/30/21. We found the request for a 25% deposit kind of a bit much. Most request 10% up front. Told them we didn’t have any checks on us so Chrystal (who is just always extremely busy) found time to drive out and pick up the deposit from our house. We were told our pool would be completed in 6 months (so July 30). Was never good at communicating with us throughout the process what was going on. We always had to reach out to her. Our permits weren’t even submitted til 4/19/21 (almost 3 months later) and still weren’t paid for until 5/12/21 (leaving them sit almost another month. After requesting a breakdown of my 25% down payment and being promised over and over again she’ll get it for me tomorrow ( about 4 times) we fired them on 5/28/21. We requested a refund of what’s left of deposit ($8000) several times and still nothing. We were told she’s busy or there’s in front of us. I haven’t contacted her in over a month and still NOTHING! We will be taking her to small claims court since she’s too incompetent to process this on her own. Please be aware and stay away from this company!

I hired Amore pool on march 2020 they have nothing but lied take their time doing the job they started building a pool for me in June 2020 and completely stopped October 2020 and they just started back in June 2021. As of today I have water in my pool pump not working heater not working chats not working water coming out of my pavers. They show no remorse no empathy for their customers who have paid them they show no urgency. everything that comes out of their mouth’s are lies and more lies . And if their response is I’m not telling the truth I have all text messages from Crystal and myself going back-and-forth about a pool that they built a year ago and a contract that we signed 15 months ago.

BUYERS, RUN AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!!!! I signed a pool contract with Amore Pools, Inc. on 3/29. The day I signed I asked Brian if he needed me to take anything and he mentioned to bring a copy of the Land Survey, which I did. After paying my deposit to his wife, Chrystal, I asked her what was the next step. She informed me that it would be 6-8 weeks for permitting. At the 2 month exactly, I reached out to Chrystal for an update and she tells me that no permits had been submitted because they were waiting on the Land survey. Really!?? Thats the same land survey I took them on 3/29 that they obviously lost. I decided to be a little patient and wait for them to submit the permit but a couple of days later I had a family emergency that required my financial assistance so I decided to terminate my contract on 5/25. Chrystal went on to write an essay about how she felt that the Facebook page customers had created against her and Amore Pools, Inc. had something to do with my decision, but it didnt. Its been nearly two months since I requested a refund totaling $13,175 for work they never did and after being lied to by Chrystal over and over and over again, she finally told my my refund had been processed on 7/6. Awesome! Only problem is that her and Brian are thieves and had no intention of giving me a dime. Its 7/22 and they have ignored daily emails, daily calls, text, visits etc. They dont care about me or about anyone. Other victims have gone as far as pulling up Brians criminal record which through me in a whirlwind. They are both alike with a criminal mind for what doesnt belong to them. Dont believe any 5 star reviews you see here. One is from Alexa Kratt whos an employee or relative of her, and who who knows how the other 5 star reviews are associated to her. They all belong in prison. I will not stop trying to collect my money for work that was NEVER performed. They say to never judge a book by its cover and the day I signed, I had a bad feeling just by looking at how unprofessional they looked. Next time I wont second guess myself. Below are some emails to her and her very little to no response. WHERES MY REFUND THAT HAS BEEN PROCESSED CHRYSTAL!!!????UPDATE: Both Brian & Chrystal Washburn are FINALLY in Jail. 17 felony counts ranging from falsifying info. for contractors license, contracting without a license, identity theft, money laundering, insurance fraud, etc. Customers dont lie!

I wanted to believe in Amore yet 10 months has passed since giving our deposit and signing a contract and no work has been completed. No visible work anyway. Our permitting failed plan review back in January and is still listed as failed no updates. Our new home is almost complete and what do we have to show for our deposit? Nothing. I emailed the owner with a request for our deposit back in June and have received no response other than “I will respond, I have been flooded with emails” how long does it take to respond to an email? How do you hold somebody’s money hostage? If anything has been completed, where is the proof? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! That is my recommendation to any future customers.UPDATE: Received an email communication on July 22 stating we would get a partial refund. Have not heard anything since and we are not accepting a partial refund for absolutely no services rendered. Must we hit the the year mark? You have our $9000 Amore for no services rendered. You have stolen from us.

I hired Amore pools on 4/07/21 and put down a 25% deposit. On 6/08/21, after finding out that they have a ton of unfinished pools, failed inspections and many unsatisfied customers, I canceled my contract and requested my money back. As of today 7/18/21 I still have not received a penny. Every week I am told it is processing and will be available the following week to which it’s not and now no one replies to my emails anymore. If you are thinking about using this company, please do yourself a favor and do your research! There is a page on Facebook called “Amore pools customers page”. I only wish I had found that page before I signed, so I wanted to tell my story to hopefully help someone else avoid this situation in the future. It’s criminal to keep someone’s money and I intend on doing whatever I need to do to get it back! Please deliver my hard earned money back to me Chrystal! How can you do this to so many families! Con artists is an understatement. We paid a 25% deposit back in March and no work has been done. The owners Brian and Chrystal had a new excuse daily on why they havent refunded me for months; now they completely dont answer your calls or emails. After doing some research the deposit check I gave them was cashed at a check cashing place in Vero Beach (Checks 2 Dinero) vs. being deposited in a business checking account like a normal contractor. If you Google this company you will see they DO NOT have the ability to get permits in Indian River County, Martin County, and St. Lucie County. They are basically running a pyramid scheme taking deposits and not doing work. They were opening more permits than closing and the counties realized what they were doing. Do not fall prey to this company. Multiple complaints have been filed on them in Jacksonville with their license. It is a matter of time before they will have to close the doors and ride off with your money. If you used this company and paid via check go to your bank and see what your rights are and if you were lucky enough to pay by credit card call and start the chargeback/fraud process. I wish I had done some homework online before I hired these con artists. Proceed with caution!!!!

If you want a quality pool in a reasonable amount of time- do not chose this company! Amore pools draws you in with their fancy video rendition of what your finished pool will look like and their low price. My favorite part of their salesman-like spiel was that one of the two owners would be out to inspect the quality of the work every step of the way. What a joke! We saw the husband the day the pool was dug, Aug 2020, and only saw the wife when she was there with her hand out, waiting for the next draw. Oh, we did see her when she came to our house to put the waterline tile on the pool. It all starts out great - daily communication, friendly responses. That is until they get the first few draws (the highest percentage) of your hard-earned money. After that, it becomes lies, lies, and more lies. You can never get a straight answer. We have a power line that goes over our pool. We knew from the very beginning that the line would have to be buried. We were told we will take care of it. I asked Amore several times if there was something that I should be doing, if I should call FPL. I was assured they were taking care of it. We were starting to get nervous about the line since we were nearing the completion of the pool. We were given two different dates that Amores electrician would be out there with FPL to do the line burial. Those dates came and went, no work was done. When we got curious and finally called FPL ourselves, we were told there is a process that starts with paperwork and your contractor has never contacted us. Those dates were a lie. Because of that, our pool could not be finished for at least 6 additional weeks to work around FPL schedule. This should have been handled months before!Every time someone came out to work on our pool there was something that had to be undone that wasnt done correctly the first time. Always one step forward, three steps back. This is very aggravating when we would go 2-3 weeks in between work being done. We were first told our pool would be completed by Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then mid-February.The waterline tile looked terrible, it was chipped, uneven and wavy. It needed to be all removed and redone. The deck had many areas that need to be repaired. The sheer descents were not straight. We knew if we continued to work with them, they would never complete the work the way that it needed to be done- We were already almost 9 months into this project and were sick of BEGGING them to send someone to come work on the pool.We changed the permit to our name in the middle of March and told Amore that there was no need to return to our property, even though we have paid for this pool almost completely. When I went to the city to do this, the building department noted that there was a trend with this company, and we were the second person that day to change permit from Amore to owner. Every contractor that came out to look at the project could not believe the poor quality that was put into our pool. Again, they never came to check the work - being there every step of the way was a lie. I could go on forever about the lies, the rude and condescending responses and the poor workmanship of this company... please if you are looking to build a pool and reading this - RUN! Do your research, go with a reputable company that has been in business for many years and pay the little extra. You will be better off in the long run. We know of many more people that are in the same situation that have not yet posted their reviews.I added pictures to show the tile work. The top pictures are the “finished” tile work by Amore vs. what it looks like after being redone. A picture speaks a thousand words. Our power line is finally getting buried next week and we should be swimming by Mothers Day. We are spending over $15k to finish the pool that we paid them to do. Choose your pool company wisely!!

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! Absolutely horrible business. Brian and Chrystal take a 25% deposit which is a huge amount for a pool company. Gave my deposit in March of 2021, fired them in May as nothing was filed with the city. No permit and no Survey. After sending a certified letter (that she refused to sign for) and filing a police report she gave 8,000 out of my 11,500 back. She claims engineering was 1,500 but cant show proof and 2,000 for her time. Do yourself a favor and run!Edit: since I cant reply to your comment Crystal, Yes I signed off on what I could get back from you as its my money Im entitled to it. You never showed proof of the ENGINEERING COST. you only showed me it was completed. For all I know you could of paid $500 and charged me $1,500. Explain why you never respond to my emails when I ask you for proof of receipt? send it to me!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM AMORE POOLS, INC.!!!!!!!!!!!This a business that lacks of honesty and integrity. I hired them back in November 2021 and they lied all through 4 June 2021 that they had applied for the pool permit but they never did, both Brian and Chrystal told me several times that the permit was being processed at PSL Building Permit Department but every time, I called PSL, I was told that there were no permit applications for my address. They finally applied for the permit on 6/11/2021 which failed plans review on 6/25/201. On 28 June 2021, I called PSL and requested a copy of failure notice, pool permit application and property survey. I discovered that the size of the pool on the contract and the pool permit application do not match. Also discovered that the spa is on the wrong side of the pool and not where it is supposed to be according to the pool story board that Brian had designed . By-the-way the pool design was given to them by another customer who I referred to them and now he is also having the same issues with them. Chrystal told me that if I wanted a partial refund that I must request it via certified mail. I did sent them a certified letter requesting my full refund ($14,750)and she still refuses to process my refund. She has stated that I have to pay for the engineering plans, survey, permit application and time invested...I can not pay for something that is incomplete, that would be like buying a new car at full price with damages. They have not invested any time and if they have it should only be 30 minutes. I also requested receipts for the survey, and pool engineering plans but Chrystal Washburn refused to provide them.PLEASE RESEARCH OTHER POOL COMPANIES AND STAY AWAY FROM AMORE POOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the reviewers here is their public notary. This is biggest scamming company in the pool industry!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!

If you are planning to build a pool and are considering Amore Pools, please beware, do your research about this company (BBB, Buildzoom, Facebook: ‘amore pools customers page’, local newspapers), and continue reading below for a quick summary of the nightmare we have dealt with for the past 15 months. We signed with Amore Pools in February of 2020 for a pool with spa and sundeck, a built-in seating area, an outdoor kitchen, fire features, large screen enclosure, and a water feature wall. Permit was issued in early April and they started digging on April 15, 2020. Brian Washburn, ‘Operations Manager’ and husband of owner Chrystal Washburn, told us 3 months to completion, so we anticipated to swim sometime in July or August. Early progress was great, within less than a month we had steel, gunite, and plumbing completed, and had paid about 70% of total project cost. After that, we started noticing delays, and by late June and early July, we started questioning Brian about the completion date. In mid-July, he promised we’ll be swimming in 4 weeks. Obviously, that didn’t happen, and we were promised similar timelines month after month. Travertine deck was installed in October, triggering our last payment to date. After that, progress slowed down significantly and has been getting worse over the last 6 months. In January of 2021, Chrystal even signed a timeline to complete our pool by March 8th… until today, not a single item on that timeline has been completed. Minor, low cost items have been worked on since, while we are still waiting to get equipment, electric, 2 fire bowls and fire table, outdoor kitchen, and plaster... basically anything of value is still missing. Additionally, Brian finally confirmed in early May 2021 that we are ready to get the screen enclosure install scheduled, but Chrystal has been refusing to make the down payment to the screen enclosure company. She hasnt returned a single call since January, and is only selectively responding to texts; no responses on why she is not submitting payment. We have been extremely patient over the past 14 months, but refusing to make the screen enclosure payment (which we paid to Amore in February 2020) is a deal breaker and is clearly showing that they are not intending to finish our project.Based on our experience with Amore Pools, and those of many other former and current customers that we have met over the past few weeks/months, here is my opinion about Amore’s “business model”: they sign new customers with unrealistic promises (timelines, price, quality, etc.) and a frontloaded payment structure that allows them to collect a large percentage of total cost in the early stages. Once the big draws have been collected, work on your project will slow down significantly. They have finished the occasional pool, yes, but mostly simple projects that probably don’t cost much to finish. For more complicated projects with additional features, like ours, they slow down the progress to the extent where many homeowners decide to take the loss, fire Amore, and have another, reputable contractor finish their pool, usually at a significant financial cost. Again, we tried to believe in them for a long time, giving them another chance over and over again, but we didn’t receive anything in return. Biggest and most costly mistake we have ever made. That said, we did not fire Amore Pools, we are waiting for them to do the right thing: submit payment to the screen enclosure company and finish our project, letting them proof that they are the legitimate company that they claim. I will update my review as work progresses.

We hired Amore in July 2020. Brian was an excellent salesman and sold us on his pretty renderings and grand ideas of our perfect backyard paradise. Getting started took a little longer than expected, but because of Covid we were understanding and optimistic. In October of 2020 we broke ground. Things continued to move slowly, which we understood, but we quickly realized how unorganized the business was. Day after day we were told that people were coming, only to be left disappointed when no one showed. There was very little communication between Brian, Chrystal, and their employees, and absolutely no oversight or quality control. Our pool was not dug in the spot we originally were told it would be, our spa, which was meant to be a champagne spa, was not set higher than the deck area, our entire property was left a disaster with debris and trash everywhere, and we had no timeline, plan, or any idea when anyone would show up again. Protective fencing was never put around our pool, leaving a huge homeowner liability. By March, we were getting nervous about their craftsmanship and lack of quality control and decided to check our inspections. There was zero evidence of a compaction test being done on our ground before they put plumbing in and back filled. After having an engineer come out and checking our backyard cameras, we realized our ground was never once compacted. After testing, the engineer recommended digging out the plumbing to properly compact in order to avoid major leaks and sinking in the future. From March to May, we saw Amore a handful of times for about an hour or 2 at a time and were no closer to passing a simple compaction test. We started having other contractors come out to give us a quote and take a look at our progress, and thats when we realized how bad things were. Our spa was set entirely too low, the bench too shallow, the gunite sprayed too high in relation to our house, the waterline tile and spa tile completely uneven and not grouted, the shallow end too shallow (it needed to be 3 feet to pass inspections), floor tile used for stepping surfaces which would be a huge slip hazard, and several other issues. Every quote to finish our job was more than our entire original contract price with Amore, even though we had already paid Amore 3/4 of our contract amount. We decided to move forward with another contractor and requested our decking, equipment, and lanai lighting that we had paid for. We were told by Brian for months that it was sitting in their warehouse, but it was later confirmed they didnt have it, and we had to order (and pay for) everything again with our new contractor. In the end, our pool cost us double what it was supposed to in order to correct Amores mistakes and finish the job.Calling Brian Washburn is one of the biggest and most costly mistakes of my adult life. Do yourself a favor and thoroughly research your contractors before making a decision. Paying a little more to use a reputable and reliable company is always worth it when dealing with such a big project.Save your sanity, your bank accounts, and your marriage, and do not hire this company.

I am not (nor will I ever be) a customer of this company but I have had 2 of my best friends and neighbors use them over the past 24 months. Let me quickly overview that the company will give you a great price, provide a beautiful concept drawing of your pool, tell you your pool will be done in a few months, pick up a check immediately, and get a hole dug as soon as the permit is available. Youll be dreaming of floating in your beautiful new pool in no time.Unfortunately, that is where the dream will end. Once the hole is dug, youll be provided with lie after lie from the owner and the owners husband. Every email and text message you send will be met with a Ill have someone there tomorrow. Youll wait a week, thinking youre giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they wont show up. Or theyll show up for an hour so they can say they were there. When they finally do show up, youll get shoddy work thats embarrassing to look at. Youll contact the owner/husband and be told that they had no idea and theyll have someone there tomorrow. Dont worry, theyll take care of it. Youll then wait and wait, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.Youll think its because of COVID and everyone is behind, which may be true, but youll wonder why this company continues to take on more and more work, even though they cant finish pools that were started over a year ago. Your promised timeline will come and go and youll wonder how long it will be before youre swimming. Youll ask be told that its almost done, just a few more weeks. Those weeks will come and go and youll ask and be lied to again and again. Your kids will have birthdays that were planned as pool parties but you wont be able to because your pool has now taken over twice as long as promised. Summer will come and go without you ever seeing any water other than the dirty brown water that will accumulate over the months and months of waiting.Eventually, hopefully, youll get plaster and water. You may actually be able to swim. Then youll notice how badly the tile was done. How uneven the patio is. Youll come up with a list of items that still need to be completed and that youve already paid for and youll send it to the company. Youll be told theyll have someone out there to take care of it.Eventually, youll do a lot of it yourself because you just want it done. My neighbor and I had to spent an entire weekend repairing the fence (at my neighbors expense) that this company ruined and refused to repair in a timely manner because the inspection would not have passed without the fence repairs and this company would have just used that as an additional excuse to put off the work.I could go on and on but I think the point is made. Please save yourself the heartache and go with a real pool company. One that pays their employees and subcontractors (my neighbor actually had a sub banging on their door at 7pm one night because they hadnt been paid by Amore!) in a timely manner and hires professionals to do each phase of the work, not just some DIY guy standing in front of Home Depot. It may cost you a little more but your sanity is worth more than you know and spending this much money only to have an embarrassing pool is heartbreaking. The delays (even before COVID) and unbelievably bad detail work are hard to quantify in a single review so I would direct you to do a search on everyones favorite social media book for the customer review page. Browse through the myriad of comments and pictures and decide for yourself if this is really a company you want to be involved with.I am quite certain this post will be replied to and theyll argue each and every item I mentioned above. Theyll say that Im not a customer nor am I an employee so I have no business commenting. Maybe theyll even physically threaten me again. My response is why would I even spend the time writing this review if they hadnt even directly wronged me? How much heartache must I have seen my friends go through to make this worthwhile?

DO NOT hire Amore Pools under any circumstances! We had an awful experience with them as have countless others. TCPalm just published an article highlighting the fact that 2 counties have suspended their permitting privileges (Martin and IRC) and more counties are expected to follow suit. Stay tuned because wptv is also coming out with a report on Amore. Please check out the Amore Pools Customer page on Facebook that has over 400 members with more joining every day. The page is made up of very unhappy current customers, former customers who have fired them, friends and family of current and former customers who have been through being an Amore customer with us and are just as angry and fed up as we are, a few customers who stick up for Amore with the hopes the owners will read their posts and they’ll get a little work done for being nice (this is straight out of the mouth of one of their desperate customers going this route as a last resort), other pool contractors who are disgusted with Amore’s work and try to help some of the customers who have been left in a lurch by this company, former Amore employees who talk about the behind the scenes criminal behavior of the business and how their paychecks repeatedly bounced, former and current Amore subcontractors who say they have not been paid or their pay check also bounced, a reporter collecting everyone’s horror stories for her upcoming report, other victims of a similar pool building scam that offer and look for advice, lucky individuals who found the customer page right before signing with Amore and are grateful that the truth is out there and the owner’s mother. Is that straight? Responding to my last review didn’t do you any favors.

Stay away from Amore Pools. They were just suspended for new business by Indian River Building Department . Chrystal and Brian and their clown Doug Vitunac tried to lie and manipulate the Indian River Construction Board with no success. Go on social media and read real reviews about this company. They are a fraud.

Update 2/3/21, Its now been 3.5 months since my deposit and they still dont have a permit. Dropping by 1 star every new month that they dont start on my pool. UPDATE 4/20 Almost 6 months. Still no permit, but some advances have been made. UPDATE 5/10, no permit as far as I know. zero improvement to the project. They have until 5/31/21 to complete this project and change this review. UPDATE 5/21/21- It is now exactly 8 (10/21/20) months since I allowed this company to take $12,500 from me and 6 weeks since I allowed them to take another $10,000(4/6/21). The pool is exactly the same as the picture I posted months ago, ZERO improvements. I confirmed today with the City of PSL that the permit they finally obtained for this build, cant even get inspections because they are missing the As Built Patio Survey. I spoke to the companies Legal Officer/Director Chrystal m Washburn today, who said it could be another 4-5 MONTHS from this point to finish my pool. Thats 12-13 MONTHS since they took my $12,500 and 6-7 MONTHS since they took an additional $10,000. I now have legal representation and if any of the over a dozen people who gave this company a negative review want to pursue legal action , we have enough for a class action suit. reach me at SunshineFloridaHomes AT gmail.com

Beyond the worst decision of our lives to hire Amore! Our story is just like all the others that gave them a 1-star review. Signed a contract with them on 7/11/2020 and pretty much have had zero progress since 1/19. We were told we would be swimming on Christmas. HA! WHAT A JOKE! No communication, no responses to our numerous emails and texts for a timeline completion. All we ever got was lie after lie, excuse after excuse. It went on way too long. We had to push back our refi so many times that eventually they closed us out and had to start us back up with a higher interest rate bc Amore could not get us any closer to a completion date. Always lied to about the completion date being in 30 days, that was since November. They lie so much that they even believe their own lies. Very scary. Completely unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy! STAY AWAY! Dont be fooled by their beautiful renderings and great price. What they do is front load the contract so that you pay 80% of the price when there is still over $40k of work to be done and they pretty much just stop responding to you and dont complete a job that youve paid them for. We should have known on 7/11/20 when we signed and the owner got all defensive when my husband asked about a completion date. She replied, Amore pools do not sit uncompleted for a year! However, shame on us for not having some sort of date in the contract. It just says, work will be completed in a timely manner. Well, that didnt happen, nor do they have any intentions on that happening! Check out the Amore pools customers page on FB. There you will find all the homeowners who used their hard earned money to invest in their dream pool, only to get burned by Amore. Its truly appalling. I dont know how theyre still in business. They should be ashamed of themselves as they are still taking new deposits (even though we were told they were not...just another lie) with no intentions on completing pools. They knew full well that we needed the pool done for a Graduation Party and they could care less! Well, they cared when we were signing the contract, but not a day after that! Final straw was the past 2 weeks when we asked, yet again, for the timeline and every single day for a week straight, we were told, sending it today. NEVER GOT IT! Then our emails and texts were just blatantly ignored. Kicker was when we sent in our, youre fired email...nobody ever responded! Never got a sorry, oh no, what can we do to fix this...NO RESPONSE!!! That was 2 weeks ago. Still nothing. I even text her asking if she received it and she said yes, she just never had a chance to read it. LOL, VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!! Weve since hired another company to complete their messy project and its so refreshing! To have someone say they will be there and they actually show up is a wonderful feeling! BEWARE OF AMORE AND RUN FOR THE HILLS IF YOURE CONTEMPLATING HIRING THEM! We all have the same sad and disappointing story.

We had over 15 pool contracters come to our house. None came across more professional , as knowledgeable and offered more bang for your buck than Amore. So far every part of the process as been on point .The owner of the company Brain is even th.e man on the bobcat digging the holes.and Crystal his wife keeps you in the loop every step of the way.So fare all of their employees that have been to my house are extremely professional and hard-working. They dont even Mind 100s of questions from children. (lol)No subcontractors here ....every worker has an Amore truck...this is refreshing. We are still technically in Phase 1 waiting on the gunite shoot . That is scheduled for this week.... but so far so good.I will continue to post an update as the progress continues. But as first impressions matter so much in this world so far so good

I signed in April 2020 with Amore Pools Inc. We were promised we would be swimming by July. As of April 26th 2021, one year later, my pool is still unfinished. Deck unsealed, electrical incomplete, no plaster, no heater, and splitface that needs to be corrected. Despite whatever LIES they dream up, here are the facts:April 15, 2020 - Signed contract 20 % deposit (Amore pools Does not apply for a permit even though Florida law requires this to happen within 30 days after Notice of Commencement is recorded.)June 19th, 2020 – Applies for permit (2 months after contract is signed.)July 1, 2020 - Permit Failed Plan Review (Was not resubmitted until 7/14/2020)July 20th, 2020 – Permit approved and issued (Still does not start the project for 16 more days)August 6th, 2020 – Hole for pool is dug (114 days after contract was signed 4 months)August 20th, 2020- Steel and Drain ( Promised October 27th Completion)September 2020 – No progress (pool over flows due to ground water and rain/ No pump provided)October 12th 2020 – PlumbingNovember 2020 – Waterline Tile ( Installed wrong tile, needed to scrape off and replace)November 9th - Amore pools License lapses in St Lucie County. ( City places contractor on hold)November 9th, 2020- Given a written timeline with dates listing December 29th for completionDecember - Form boards installed (Done incorrectly two failed inspections in a row. 3 inspections needed to pass) 12/3/2020 Failed inspection 12/4/20 Failed inspectionDecember- Deck started (deck still incomplete as of April 26th has not be sealed or sanded)January2021- No progress (give a written timeline promising Feb 28th Completion)February2021 - Split face started ( Still needs correction)March 16, 2021 Electrical started ( Electrical still incomplete as of April 26th because Heater and lights were not provided to the electrician. Still to this date has not arrived).March 2021- Screen installed.April 22, 2021 Stone tops placed on hot tub.April 24th 2021Amore pools cannot get the heater listed in contract (T135 Most efficient heater on the market.) Offered a different one, more expense yet less efficient and cost more money to runThis is a pool company that has no supplies. They owe every local distributor money and cannot get the items needed to finish a pool. Due to Amore Pools mismanagement of money, lack of preparation, and inability to preorder and stock items I am delayed. I had to file another Notice of Commencement, because Amore pools did not complete the work within the window of 1 year.

Where to begin.... we started with Amore Pools Jan 2020 and guess what the pool is still not done we actually told them not to come back. We have sinking pavers, the pitch is wrong and floods the patio, and under the patio where they put pavers over tile all turned brown when it started silver. Our gem coat has stains all over. Lighting-None of our lights in the garden work. They planned on putting lights around our pool which Amore failed to provide them. Custom tables not installed. We even offered to buy them once we let them go since they claimed they already made them never heard back. Those are the big hitters this thread could go on and on but we will end this with Karma always wins at the end. Oh Crystal you do did have a contract with us it’s under Tamie Adams

Long story short. Lol. Getting a pool right now is like pulling a wisdom tooth out from your toe. We signed with Amore pools in the first week of September. Dug the week before Xmas and had the concrete shot yesterday 2/24. Brian has answered every single phone call. And there have been plenty. We originally thought we would have been done by January but covid has stopped vacations and so everyone wants a pool right now. The wait is centered around the gunite shoot and Amore pools solved the issue two weeks ago. Call them and ask how. Brians ease with us being nitpicky worrying ocd introverts is definitely making the process worth the stress. Shoot them a text and ask to see The Brooks pool. Its pretty cool. Happy swimming!

Where do I begin, after 8 long months of going back and forth with this company my pool is finally complete. For starters the pool was built into the easement beyond where it should have been making my fence company have to reach out to the county and HOA for approval to be in the easement. They hit the main lines to our sprinklers twice after we paid to have them moved in the beginning, dealing with the owners for customer service is like dealing with an angry used car salesman who blatantly lies to your face and tries to make you the problem. After the gem coat was sprayed I had 3 lighter spots in the pool where bags were kept for 2 weeks that should have never been there to begin with per Florida Stucco, after contacting the company the owner came out after many failed attempts to correct the color, he dumped acid directly into the pool on the lighter spots causing my pool to lose water overnight. His brother came out who is the one who takes care of all pools after they are completed and said i had leak through one of my return lines causing them to dig up half of my deck only to not find the leak and after 4 patches later the pool kept water. When Brian dumped the acid he not only ate through the pool but ate the rock underneath 3 of my water falls, those had to be replaced as well. I noticed after the initial dig once the company got majority of the draw money they were missing in action for several weeks at a time and when they did finally show up they worked 3 hours maybe a week. The process is not worth the couple thousand dollars to save with this company. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reputable company that doesnt leave you with 4 patches in a brand new pool. I attempted multiple times to leave negative reviews on their Facebook page for honesty and clarity for people but the owners delete them and have blocked me from stating the facts. Please dont believe Facebook posts as they are filtering what they want to be shown. Its not even worth it to go back and forth with this company as you can see below based on there response they think its OK to do business like the pictures that Ive posted. Regardless if it was fixed it should have never happened in the first place. Also there is no fixing 4 patch jobs in my brand new pool Ill have that forever and the color still isnt right. Id rather pay 100x more then ask them to attempt to fix anything again.
