When we brought my sons 2014 GMC to Southern, I was already beyond frustrated dealing with other incompetent shops. Jessica immediately put my mind at ease with her knowledge of exactly what we needed done and her professionalism. Jessica and the mechanic (her husband) treated us as if we were their only customers from the time we dropped it off to the diagnosis and work completed. Had taken my F-150 to a shop in North Fort Myers and found that they had no clue how to work on a lifted 4x4 so brought it here and these people know their stuff, I had several things done on my truck and was very pleased with the service and work that they did. I had a lift installed and a week later my tie rod snapped. It took two weeks to install and then that happened. I did not take the truck back to that place and I was nervous about driving it thinking things were not right. I took my truck to southern tires and wheels and explained my concerns and the manager Lyle was so nice and professional he looked everything over and took a test drive with me to make sure things were good. I came to Fort Myers from Atlanta to watch my 17yr old play baseball. On the drive down I noticed the front tires were getting a little to worn for comfort. After a few hours of searching the Internet and reading different reviews I decided on Southern Tire. They gave me a fair price and had the tires in the next day (Toyo 40 Mud Terrain). They were installed professionally in about an hour. Ive driven on them for a day and Im a very happy customer. I really appreciate the quick turn around. The shop and staff are professional. I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport that needed a little boost in looks. I found the right guys to do the work for sure. I had a lift kit and new larger wheels and trailer hitch set-up put on it. They were extremely knowledgeable and LISTENED to what I was asking for. Superb craftsmanship made my hum-drum Jeep into an almost beast! Other than having to figure out how to jump up in it, I was thrilled with the results. After 4 different shops not being able to figure out the problem on the front end of my truck i decided to take it to southern after a recommendation and within 15 minutes they figured out it was an issue with my lift. Not only did they show me the issues but also explained how it was wrong. They offered to fix the issue but i chose to upgrade and go with a new lift. Process was smooth and my truck should be done in a couple of days. Highly recommended

Could not be happier with the service Southern Tire and Wheel has provided me. Jessica was awesome with getting me in promptly. Jared quoted me a great price to fixed my broken driver side window motor. I dropped it off on a friday morning, told him to keep it all weekend as I was in no rush. He had it fixed by Saturday morning. I am sending my daughter to him today to fix an issue with her car. If i trust my daughter ( who is my world) to go to him, then you can trust him with all your car needs. Will refer all my co-workers , friends, and family to them.

I cant even give them 1 star but it made me to be able to post, I have to say is the worst thing to do is lie to me. I brought my brand new truck in to have a leveling kit put on it so I could use the custom wheels off a truck I had that was wrecked. So part of the work to be done was to have my wheels balanced and to make sure 1 wasnt bent before I sold the aluminum stock wheels from the new truck.When I picked up the truck and took the highway home to make sure that there werent any vibrations I was disappointed because the truck was shaking. I called the lady at the front desk and told her the wheels arent balanced correctly she said make an appointment and they would do it again, in the meantime I realized that the wheels were never balanced because the original wheel weights were never removed.When I brought the truck back in I asked the person who acted as the owner as far as I know why didnt they even remove the wheel weights before balancing the wheels because anytime I had ever balanced wheels we always removed the weights first then balanced the wheels. He lied to me and said they always put them on the machine first to see if they need anything else. (What a line of BS!).So they balanced the wheels costing me to miss a half a day at work, about a week later I brought my truck in for its first oil they rotated my tires and i had the bad shaking again. I call Southern Tire and Wheel again and told the lady at the front desk what happened and that something was done wrong with the last balancing job and she nicely set me up another appointment to bring the truck back and they would do it again.So I bring the truck back in missing another half day of work and have them try again, during the wait time while the wheels were being balanced the owner seemed to avoid me but I just figured he had to do that often from my experience with them so far. Then the person balancing the wheels waived me over and said that a wheel was bent and that he had told the owner that last time I was in and showed me how bent it was.The initial lying pisses me off so bad because I could have boughten a new wheel when I first brought the truck in or even just used the other set I had that I didnt sell until I knew the custom wheels were still good. Now I cant get another wheel to replace the bent one because they now are sold out and discontinued and I sold my other set thinking the custom wheels were fine.I wouldnt want to believe anything that they have to say and I will tell everyone I know how much money they are costing me because they are so shady they didnt balance the wheels initially then lied about it, probably what they do daily. Stay clear of this POS shop!!

I took my sons Chevy 2500 diesel to Southern Tire &Wheel for a temperature gauge that doesnt work.After diagnosing the problem twice and replacing a relay in the transmission then a pig tail connector the temperature gauge still doesnt work.Southern tire &wheel still charged him for the parts and labor even though they didnt fix the problem.I guess it doesnt matter if you fix the problem as long as you can still make the customer pay..

Jessica was extremely nice and helpful . She took the time to answer all of my questions about different types lifts, rims, tires, maneuverability etc. and was very knowledgeable about the different types offered.

I recently had my 2nd truck done by Southern Tire & Wheel and I could not be happier with how it came out. I had my first done almost 2 years ago. The shop is a little bit of a drive for me (i drive past several other lift shops to get to Southern Tire & Wheel) but they are well worth the drive. If ever I have a question or concern, I can call or email and get an immediate response. The same cant be said for a handful of other shops Ive had dealings with locally. Incredibly knowledgeable and not pushy. Definitely easy to deal with. You will not find a better shop if SWFL.

Brought my 2014 jeep in it had death wobble issues .. the front end shook so bad I was ready to get rid of it. ... had already taken it to savage 4x4 that put a new lift on ..and shocks that It really didnt need.. saying that was going to fix the problem and it didnt .. after getting tired of going back to savage with 1 excuse after another what was wrong it never got fixed after spending over 2500 ... so I brought it to southern and in only a few miniutes they diagnosed the problem... they fixed it and jeep drives better than ever.. these guys are great here and kno there stuff... very honest and dont sell you something you dont need...! For sure I would highly recommend these guys..

To any fellow off road enthusiasts especially those in Lee County. Avoid Southern Tire and Wheel on Fowler St. Worst customer service ever!! My wife had been wanting to add Bushwacker fenders to my 2007 FJ Cruiser for awhile because we both liked how they look. The body shop where she works was reluctant to do this modification but someone she knows recommended these jokers. Anyway it was only after they cut up the factory fenders that they discovered that it wouldnt work because of the brush guard on the front of my rig. Not wanting to buy a new front bumper and brush guard I told them to put the factory fenders back. Instead of being apologetic or offering to make things right they charged us labor and now we have to pay to buy replacement factory fenders which will be nearly the cost of the attempted upgrade. To add insult to injury the owner called my wife yelling and arguing with her after I posted my thoughts on their FB page. Not once did they apologize nor offer to refund the labor. Not once did they offer to make things right. Poor business practices and very rude to customers. And after this review was posted they offer positive dialogue in their response here, in an attempt to look good, but not once attempted to contact either one of us. If this owner spent as much time communicating with a discgruntled customer as he does trying to defend negative reviews and shoddy work hed have 5 star reviews all the way around. Beware this business!

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced with any company. Not to mention they do not have Saturday hours. They are only open Monday thru Friday till 5pm....which is extremely inconvenient since most people work till 5pm. NOT getting my business thats for sure.

Scumbags .Stay away!!!Ordered lifting kit 2.5 inch front and 1 inch rear.After installation went to alignment store and was told that rear on my truck was never lifted.They lie to my face that lifted front and rear on my F150 2016.That place must be shut down period!!!
