I had Honda weed trimmer for repair out for about 6 weeks. Ten days later its started to do the same thing not able to work with it. I when back to the store because they have 90 days limited service warranty. The customer service unbelievable no words.If you read your tool repair service agreement it is clearly says Home depo will repair any defects due to its faulty workmanship, including the replacement of necessary parts and materials, at no charge to customer. Service department representative insisted I have to pay again for tool repair evaluation 20$ and initial their $100 pre-approval amount. So basically there is no 90 day warranty? No one seems to be familiar with their tool repair agreement nor they care. Store manager was not interested with my concerns. He or she was just relying messages through their supervisor. I can not believe he or she is the. manager for Home Depo.

Rented a trailer one evening and used it that night for about an hour. Tried to return it at 9am the following day but noone was around in the tool rental department. Asked a cashier where they were and she said probably helping another customer. Waiting about 15 minutes and even called the store number from my cell phone while standing there and noone answered. Had to leave to get to work before 10am. Called them back at 10:48am to see if someone was actually working in the tool rental department but noone answered. Finally came back at 5:30 after work and waited 45 minutes to see the one guy that was helping 6 customers in front of me. He got a manager but they still insisted on charging me for a full day. I would have left the trailer in the morning but was warned if I didnt return the trailer they would charge me $2100 for a $800 trailer so I didnt want to risk it being stolen. If youre going to be severely under staffed your customers shouldnt be penalized. Poor business practices.

Beware of the insurance they tack on in the tool rental department! I was told I had agreed but it was never mentioned to me. I was asked to press the accept icon on there kiosk screen and was explained that I was agreeing that I knew how to operate the equipment I was renting. When you sign that acknowledgement your signature is also used as an agreement to the insurance. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOX THAT YOU WOULD INITIAL IF YOU DID NOT WANT THE OPTIONAL COVERAGE? BAD PRACTICE HOME DEPOT!
