My husband has been receiving services from Mind & Mobility for several years. He has Parkinsons Disease and it has been progressing steadily. Since COVID services have been at home. Providers are professional and display both knowledge in their field, PT, OT, Speech and MSW, as well as a caring attitude which has also been a support to me as the main caregiver.I recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of services.Thank you for your years of dedication and service. Dont know what I would have done without all of you. That goes for the office staff as well.

My husband has Multiple Systems Atrophy and has been going to Mind & Mobility for 2 years. I am so thankful that I found them. Everyone is so caring and really does their best to help him maintain his strength. He has done PT, OT and speech at the clinic and now we are doing home visits. Brian his physical therapist is the absolute best as he goes beyond his job to make my husband smile and have fun exercising. I truly believe my husband is still walking today due to the great care he is given. I would highly recommend Mind & Mobility, as they have so much to offer.

Both my kids needed physical therapy for a shoulder injury and a knee injury, they both are heavily involved in sports. Couldnt have been able to have them do therapy at the same time if it wasnt for Mind and Mobility. They came over to the house and worked with both of them. You can see the difference after a few sessions. My sons shoulder range and pain was much better and daughters knee pain was almost gone and range of motion was much better. highly recommend them!!!!

In response to seeking help for my increasingly weak, hoarse voice, M&M paired me with speech therapist Heather Berner. Through exercises to strengthen my vocal cords, I learned how to speak without straining my throat. Initially skeptical, after 6 weeks I was astonished by the improvement.

It was a huge weight off my shoulders when I found Mind & Mobility for my mom. The live-in companion service is fantastic! No more worrying. Mom is in good hands 24-7, which has allowed her to remain living in her own comfortable home while she recovers from a stroke. Her aide helps in so many ways...emotional needs, cooking, housekeeping, and hygiene. The physical therapy program is also highly recommended! The staff really follows up to make sure we are happy with all the services. This is a company that cares about customer service, and knows how to provide.

I am eternally grateful to the mind and mobility team for their professionalism, competence, and genuine kindness and concern. They have seen a number of my family members under a range of circumstances and every time their help has been critical to their recovery. We come from other states and countries just to see them. It is not an exaggeration, they really are that good, their knowledge and application of physical therapy is unsurpassed.

My wife has been a patient for 3 years. They do one-on-one therapy for her Parkinsons and theyre excellent. I began in May of 2018 due to a sciatica problem. 3 months later I was 95% better. They are a terrific group of therapists. Highly recommend.

I had a TOTAL knee replacement in June 2015. Prior to the surgery I asked my surgeons staff for recommendations of a physical therapist--post operation. This is how I was referred to Mind and Mobility. I have had two arthroscopic surgeries in the past and was somewhat satisfied with my physical therapists. But from the moment I entered Mind and Mobility I felt like I was with FAMILY and with people that really cared about ME and MY future. This made me want to work even HARDER for both me and to please them! In December of 2015 I had another total knee replacement for my other knee replacement (I had been a long distance runner for three decades and was paying the price for my then ignorance). I returned to Mind and Mobility and again I could not have been more pleased and satisfied! Through months of therapy I watched each of the therapists that worked at Mind and Mobility and ALL were the best of the best! With their help (Lenny, Rachel, Melissa--and the rest) I am already at a physical level that I was only able to hope and dream about previously. Yes, I worked out HARD. But the workout I did was as much for me as to please them. Looking at me, you wouldnt know that that any knee problems had been an issue. I owe my future to the staff at Mind and Mobility as to my surgeon and my hard work.THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

I was referred to this agency by the nursing home facility where my mother resides. I was looking to find some home-care service to have someone keep my mother active and more importantly, for me, to keep her company because my mom likes to have companionship and someone to talk to. I also needed someone who spoke fluent Spanish since my mom does not speak any English. I called Mind & Mobility and spoke to Pamela. She was very professional, asked me several questions about my mother and within 48 hours, she had sent someone over so that my mom and I could meet her. She has been a God-send. My mother immediately took a liking to her and loves spending time with her. Even the nursing home staff told me theyve noticed an improvement in my moms attitude - shes much happier and doesnt cry as much. I want to thank Mind & Mobility for their professionalism and most importantly, their caring attitude. I would highly recommend them.

I learned about Mind & Mobility while attending a caregiver class for those who are caring for someone who has dementia. On my first appointment, which was just for my mother to be evaluated for cognitive therapy. Mateo discussed with me how they can help my mother. I have Cerebral Palsy, therefore Mateo was concerned about my needs as well asked me if i would like to evaluated also. He evaluated both of us.My mother and I attended our therapy sessions on the same day which is very helpful to me.The physical therapist, Lenny helped my mother with physical exercise, she also received cognitive therapy, my mother loves music so they incorporated music in her exercise plan.At times she would be agitated due to the her having dementia, Lenny and the other therapists knew how to calm her and get her to exercise they did not let the agitation stop her from receiving therapy. My Mother not only enjoyed the therapy but she improved both physically and had some cognitive improvement as well. I was very pleased with her improvement.I am receiving physical and occupational therapy and some memory training, which is helping me to improve my balance, walking, standing and more. they work with each patient, more one on one than the other physical therapy places that I was treated at. I have improved since I been going to Mind & Mobility.Mateo and the Staff are very professional and caring, you can tell that they really care for the patients that are working with, and it not just a job for them. I am very grateful for the services provided by Mateo and his staff Lenny, Clarisse, Rachel, and all the other therapists and staff at Mind & Mobility.

I was referred to physical therapy for a left rotator cuff tear. I also have an inherited neurological disease that affects my balance, ability to walk, climb stairs, etc. (a late-onset form of hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy - HMSN).Before making an appointment, I went to Mind & Mobility to ask what kind of physical therapy they provide (e.g., sports-oriented; rehabilitation; etc.). I was told that they have an expert in treating Parkinsons disease and similar movement disorders. That was just what I need.On my first appointment, I was evaluated for both my left shoulder rotator cuff tear and also for my neurological disorder (balance, walking, etc.). I was told that the occupational therapist would be working with me for the shoulder problem, and the physical therapist would work with me on neurological problems. They contacted my doctor to get a referral for physical therapy for falls, balance and related problems. I have been working with them for 12 weeks now.The physical therapists at MIND & MOBILITY are miracle workers in my opinion. I have never met therapists who understood so much about the Parkinsonism-like movement problems that I have. The therapists worked with me in so many ways to improve my balance, walking, turning, climbing stairs, getting out of chairs without using my arms to push off, and skills for fall prevention. One day I told them that I hadnt been able to run in 5 years. They said they could teach me very easily, and they did! They walked along side me, holding my left hand and the back of my belt, and began walking faster, and then, almost as though we were dancing, they had me running. Im a 68-year-old very reserved man, but I started crying when I realized that I was actually running. I never thought my body would be able to do that again.I think anyone with a movement disorder related to Parkinsons disease, parkinsonism, stroke, or other impediments to normal body movement should make at least one visit for evaluation with the therapist at Oakland Park (Fort Lauderdale) site, or at the Boca Raton facility. These people really know so much more about coordinating the entire body than do sports-oriented physical therapists.
