I have been volunteering with Deliver the Dream for over 17 years now, mostly due to the manner in which the retreats are run, how the families interact and bond, and all the volunteers lead by an outstanding staff. With 2020 being a whole lot different than any other year in the past, DTD has continued to reach out to families by providing fun and festive activities from campfire concerts to crafts and social distancing family events like fishing and exercises. Truly this special non- profit has become more than just somewhere to volunteer, but more as family. I pray the tools of this year will not hinder retreats in the future, and look forward to making more unforgettable memories.

Deliver the Dream is a wonderful organization. I have been on the Board for more than 8 years. They have provided such good service and outreach to so many families in our community. They are unlike any other organization. They truly understand the needs of families and help bring families with similar aliments together to form a lifelong bond and network. I am so proud to be part of such an excellent cause.

Deliver the Dream not only delivers a dream for someone that suffers of disability or sickness. It delivers the dream for their families. I never thought I could be so included as a sister of a Down Syndrome sibling. I was. I was not alone. And experiencing an entire weekend together was like birthing a new family! The fun, the laughter, the emotional tears, and yes the shared proud moments of witnessing our loved ones be it a daughter/son,,, sister/brother/ grandchild/ mother/father/ aunt/uncle feel like an insider, feel included and feel embraced. Deliver the Dream does that..... Hats off to an organization that embraces the entire family thru its weekend retreats. Thank you!!!

As one of their longtime vendors, I can say they have always been an incredibly friendly and easy client to work for. I have never had a un pleasant experience EVER working with them, even when we make a mistake, they are always so understanding Their warmth and compassion shows through even to us as a vendor. I am sure they must be an incredible source of comfort and strength for all the families they help out. What a great bunch of people!

Deliver the Dream is a beautiful and wonderful organization....plain and simple!! The idea that children and their families are able to get away from their everyday life of sickness and medical treatments, go to a fun retreat, and be with others that 100% understand what it is that they are going through.... is the beauty of it!! The staff and volunteers consist of truly caring people that want to make it special for all involved! Definitely an organization that makes a difference to many!!!

Ive volunteered with this organization for the last 8 years. To be able to volunteer at their Family Retreats is a gift. They provide amazing supports on various levels for families experiencing a crisis/illness. With COVID-19, they were incredibly innovative with switching to a virtual resource as well as sending supplies packages for families to still spend fun time together. Having my family benefit from these activities has been so much fun. The staff is very caring and dedicated to their organization!

Delivering Dreams for families happens at refreshing retreats most every month - except during a global pandemic. Ive experienced the magic of unconnected families finding common ground and experiences and feeling supported and heard as they face their familys challenge of disability, illness or crisis. Even during stay at home orders - Deliver the Dream connected families virtually with Hope at Home online programs, concerts series and a variety of experiential learning experiences like painting, fishing and dancing. I love that people of ALL AGES benefit from his free program that help families heal.

As a volunteer at a Deliver The Dream weekend retreat, I took part in an unforgettable experience. In a little over 48 hours, I not only became part of a family of incredible volunteers but I also became part of a family that was reaching out for help from a program that helped them learn how to better cope with a child in healthcare crisis. Being assigned to a family to help navigate through the daily program at the retreat and assist them with anything they may need throughout their time, whether it meant taking the kids to participate with the other kids attending to do an activity, so that their parents either had quiet time or so they could spend time sharing and learning from other parents coping with the same crisis, or sharing smores around the campfire to having the opportunity to share a meal with the family....every moment that weekend made me feel part of something bigger than what I arrived with. Watching attending families create a support network with each other, seeing kids forget about illness for a brief time while making friends with other kids who can relate to each others experience and the impossible to keep a dry eye exit session on the final day......all of it unforgettable. Congrats to the Deliver The Dream staff and program volunteers for truly making a difference, one family at a time!

Ive been volunteering with Deliver the Dream for several years, words cannot express what happens during these retreats. Its something you feel...magic.The staff knows just the right pinch of this and sprinkle of that to create an environment for new friendships to bloom, families to heal, resources to be shared, acts of kindness, love, laughter and FUN!Deliver the Dream Rocks!

This organization is top notch. What a wonderful retreat program they offer families in need. Even now through the pandemic they have been creating hands-on, creative and fun activities for families to do together. They are life savers!

Amazing in all respects! A place that you come to with no expectations bc theres nothing else quite like and its super difficult to describe. You leave wishing every family you know could have this experience once in their lifetime. DTD is forever in my heart!!!

I absolutely love this organization and what they are doing for families in our community. No one really knows what people are going through behind closed doors and during this pandemic, but DTD is continuing its programming--like having concert campfire nights or virtual fishing contests. They are trying to keep people who are already going through tough times engaged and I appreciate all they are doing. Thank you!

I have been so fortunate to have the opportunity to work for such an amazing organization for over 20 years. I have watched Deliver the Dream help so many families that were struggling with illness or crisis and bring them together for retreats with other families facing the same illness or crisis to help them all heal and gain a support system.
