Aaron has been doing my nails for YEARS and no one can do it like him. The care he takes and attention to detail, plus hes so gentle and exceeds my expectations EVERY TIME. I also love a good pedicure and if you want extra soft feet spring for the Deluxe with paraffin wax. The best! Please listen to me when I say take a chance guys! A little self care never hurt anyone 😉

I have been coming here for a few years now and really love the foot and hand massage.I was so excited to walk in today to see they put brand new massage chairs in and they are now amazing.I feel comfortable here and would recommend them.

It was Friday night and after a long day at work in Miami Lakes I was coming back home to Fort Lauderdale and my only stop was to the drive up Wells Fargo on 84. When I turned into the shopping center around 715pm, I couldnt help but notice the nail salon with the Bright OPEN sign. I thought no way, so after I did my banking I went over there, walked up to their door, slowly and timidly opened it and asked are you Really open? Yes the kind man said. I felt like a kid on Chistmas Morning!! Nail care was definitely needed and its so hard to get it done between my work schedule and life in general. As he requested, I entered my name and phone into their system as they keep track of your visits and after so many you get a free service*always a nice perk*. It was way too close to their 730pm closing time at this point so when asked what I needed, I said it was their pick as I needed both a gel pedi and acrylic fill with gel polish oh and eyebrows waxed. Gel pedi it was and I am glad because it felt soooo good....the massage of my calves probably the best ever. (I forgot her name). Oh and she did my eyebrows. My toes and feet looked and felt great. Not to mention the 20% discount for 1st time clients (under new ownership special they have going on but not sure for how long) was definitely appreciated by my pocketbook! They arent far from my home so I went back Saturday to get my fingers done. Anthony was my tech, and he was very meticulous, was conscientious of what I wanted. I was very pleased and will definitely return and return and get my visits accumulated to get the Reward.The salon was very clean and elegantly updated. Lots of pedi chairs and TVs. I loved the faucets on their modern handwashing bowls. Their public restroom very clean.They are closed on Mondays but open til 730pm for sure Tuesday thru Saturday (ideal for my schedule as I prefer to get my nails done during my lunch during the week while Im working OR on the way home .Im scheduled to see Anthony again in 2 weeks.

Im from out of town, so I thought it would be great idea to get my nails done on vacation. I got my nails done on Tuesday. My thumb nail broke on Wednesday while at the beach, so I returned on Thursday, thinking they would honor their work. However, the lady told me it would be $10, and Im the one who broke it. It literally just snapped and I didnt feel it. This is not a reputable place that honors their work. Please save your money and go to a better place.

Jennifer did an absolute amazing job on my acrylic nails and pedicure... Im sooo happy!! Highly recommend this place they are super friendly and good at their jobs.

I have used their services for 3 years. They are professional, knowledgeable, and really helpful with my tough nails. They always make me feel at home. Also, they are very safe during Covid. I went because they were close to home and now I drive just for them. Awesome!

First time and last time getting my eye brows shaped here.The lady Nina was friendly at first but when I wasn’t getting my nails done $55 - she wanted to make me happy with eye brows. However when she was finished and showed me I saw many straggling stray and asked what about that - she said to leave it so they would be even. But they were not even the side with the straggling hairs was much longer than the other side. Long story. Results. In the end I left not happy and she wasn’t happy that I tipped 10%. That’s better than nothing when I wasn’t happy and she didn’t want to fix it. See for yourself. Does this look good?

My nail tech left my black foot to a white 1.They rushed me away leaving toe nail on w no acrylic applied...Painted it and took it right back off. Booboo the fool you thought. No tip, no way im returning. Poor service and racist tones.. #Canceled

Im so disappointed that I did not check the reviews before choosing this nail salon. When I arrived, the lady at the counter asked what services I wanted. I told her her I wanted gel color on my fingers and a pedicure. Despite my insisting that I wanted gel color, she continued to try convince me that I needed dipped color. They soaked my nails to remove my previous gel color while I got a pedicure. They nail technician doing the pedicure had a serious language barrier. I requested a specific pedicure, but I got the basic deluxe pedicure instead because she had no clue what I was requesting even though I pointed to it on their menu. After the technician used the pumice stone on my feet, she rinsed it off and replaced it in the drawer! Im not sure what the laws are in Florida, but nail salons are not allowed to reuse the equipment in Georgia. Instead of using two hot wet towels to cover my legs, she placed only one towel across the top of both of my legs at one time. I had worn sneakers, so I told the technician that I wanted to wear the disposable flip-flops to my car because I did not want the socks to mess up my nails. She misunderstood and put my socks and shoes on my feet anyway, and getting her to understand what I was saying was useless. As a result, my toenails were messed up by the time I got to the car. The gel color on my fingers looks like garbage. I wasted 2 hours and $65 to be disappointed! Choose another salon!

I got the 45 mani/pedi combo. No polish. This was about 5 days ago. The bottom of my feet are already like sandpaper. I think they want you to spend a lot more money. I at least expected my feet to be smooth. I’ll never go back.

I walked in on Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly staff. I was seated with Nina who put foil on my hands to soak while I got my Pedicure. From that point on the person who did my Pedicure was rough, cut me and just very aggressive. After my Pedicure I went back to Nina to get gel dip and she was rushed and over dipped and then used her finger to mash the dip smooth. My thumbs looked horrible. When I questioned her she said, no they look fine. I also had large clumps of gel under my nails. When I asked her to clean them her comment was, when you wash them at home you can clean them better than me. Ugh, I work hard for my money and when I splurge on myself. I expect to not be argued with and if aim paying for a service and not Happy, dont down play it. I will not be back and would not recommend them. #unsatisfiedcustomer

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!Beware, they do not honor their word. I took my Niece there to get her nails done.The chap she saw (who it turns out, had only been there two weeks) sold her on some gel nails. Unfortunately, not only did he screw it up, but also picked the wrong color.The nails are supposed to last 3 weeks. The started chipping within 3 days. For the avoidance of doubt, she is a dainty wee lass and takes care of her hands and nails. He also selected the wrong color, which meant you could clearly see her real nails beneath.When we went back, we saw Michael, who I believe is a Manager. At that time he was rather helpful, in that he said he would repair them. He also said that she would have to come back in a couple of weeks because the color had not dried properly, but he would take care of her. He carried out the initial repairs, but when we went back, he wanted to charge her $35 for the color correction.He tried to claim that he repaired them for free, completely ignoring the fact that they should repair them COMPLETELY for free, because it was there employees negligence that created the problem in the first place. I was not too polite when I pointed out that was total BS, because the initial problem was not simply the chipping, but the color selected by them as well!Michael is clearly NOT a man of his word and I would not recommend this salon or this person to anyone. They clearly cannot be trusted, do not take responsibility for their negligence or foul ups (yes, I has another four letter word in mind!!!) and clearly do not honor their word/commitment!!! I am thoroughly disgusted with their behavior.

I paid $13 to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady rushed to wax my eyebrows, they were not neat, I had hairs sticking out every where and it was not cleaned up. I will never go back there for nothing. They got 3 stars I see why now

They have horrible customer service.... They charged my daughter and me the same price and she has a fill and I had a full-set.... I requested coffin nails but got oval, coffin and round set .... it’s so uneven and flat at the same time..... when I asked about the price she gave some crazy excuse.... when I asked about my nails saying I won’t pay for mine because it’s ugly and professional she said they did the work... yes but bad work..... they will give you gel even tho u don’t want it..... I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. I explained I wanted a fall dark purple color with a matte finish which iv never had before. The color I picked out showed up as a brown finish after she applied the matte finish,and I told her no I dont really like it,its not what I thought. She threw a fit saying oh that they looked fine and Id have to pay 2x if I wanted them re done!! Already stressed out a day before my wedding and I wish I would be had a better experience. So THEN she didnt want to work on me anymore and had me wait,I was with my 3yr old daughter and my cousin and her daughter. I sat down with a different lady who was probably even worse,saying TO MY FACE how my daughter doesnt listen and if that were her daughter she wouldve hit her already!! My jaw just dropped! But please tell me what 3 year old wants to be at a nails salon for 2 and half hours anyways! Worst experience of my life! Rude ass people,and worst service! Your profession is in nails and you couldnt even help me,or be patient or even try! That what kills me. And then you have the audacity to insult my child right in front of me! Never again,never again!!!

I’ve been to this place many times and every time I’ve gone, I NEVER get what I ask for. They rush thru it all. Ive gone thinking they might do a better job, but no.The last time I went I was undecisive of what color to get and I changed the color 3 times while she was “preparing my nails”. When I told her that I had changed my mind about the color, she (Kim) tapped my hand and with a serious face said “ if you change the color again, I’m going to charge you extra”. I was so unhappy with it all. The most unpleasant “relaxing” time I’ve ever experienced. They are always so pushy for you to spend more money.Stay away from this place.

I have been using American Nail since they opened. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly, though some are a little hard to understand. Michael usually takes care of me and he does a fabulous job!! My mani (using the dip) lasts 4+ weeks.

This is the worst nail salon ever. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I brought my sister here to get a full set and they messed her nails up so badly they did not clip her cuticles the tried to charge to shape the nails which is supposed to be included they tried to charge her to fix their mistakes the polish was sloppily applied and when I asked the lady to fix it she tried to kick me out of the shop for complaining. The service sucks and I would never ever recommend this place to anyone I should have known by the emptiness of the place that the service was probably the worst... lesson learned never go here.

Ive been here before and had no issues, regardless of what the other reviews said. However, I went on Thursday and got a regular pedi and gel mani. The woman (never had her before) was just rude... for no reason. I asked her to be a bit more gentle while scrubbing my feet and she responded with a dirty look. She kept using her fingernails to wipe away excess polish which, I realize, is a natural reaction. However, her nails would dig into my toe and finger nails. By this time I didnt want another uncomfortable reaction so I sat through it. When I was done, she put my foot in my shoe, almost rushing me out, as to save the flip flop. I dont mind that, as I know they cost money. However, she didnt check to see that my toes were dry - I assumed that she was the pro and knew. Well a few moments later when I was in the Winn Dixie I had a feeling that they werent dry and slipped my shoe off - lo and behold, my left big toe had most of the polish off, the right big toe and 2 others on that foot were smudged... as I got home I realized that although she was digging her nails into me to scrap off excess polish, there was still little spots of polish around my nails. And the gel on my hands even started to crack by Friday (the next day). I work in an office and I dont do too much to where it would crack my gel polish in the first 24 hours. I returned on Saturday to have my big toe fixed because it was so noticeable... I didnt want to but I didnt want to spend money getting a color change at a better salon. The same lady had the same attitude. BTW - I did leave a tip (normally I leave 20% but I just left about 15 or 18%) because I know that regardless of the quality, those in the service industry work for tips. Trust, I didnt want to leave that tip but it is what it is. Anyway, I would suggest Gallery Nails in Sunrise, - theyre excellent. I havent gone there since I left Sunrise but Ill take the drive on a Saturday morning next time since it will be worth it. I left 2 versus 1 start for the good service and quality I received there before.

Ive tried repeatedly with this place just because it is across the street from my house Im done last time I paid $65 for a manicure and a pedicure and the Polish peeled off my toes within 2 days... normally my toenail polish will last up to 2 months I dont know if its the cheap polish or the techs cant paint .....they also did not paint the sides of my toenails I hate that! I specifically said make sure you paint the sides people do what they want Im so done!

Michael was fantastic! I was helped immediately, my nails turned out perfect. I would highly recommend Michael at American nails to anyone, especially if you need to get in and out before a cruise.

The worst I have ever had in all my years of getting my nails done! The tech cut about every one of my fingers ever nail is missed shaped and charged me $40 was done with my nails in less then 25 minuets. That’s not the worst of it I would not sign for the charge and walked out the man ran out the salon after me and was in my face and fallowing me to my car told me he would not let me leave and was calling the cops on me. I call on my own....... one man and two female trying to intimidate me taking pics of me. The cops came and he know it was BS they were payed and I just wanted to get in my car with out being chased by a man did I mention that the female that claimed to be a Manager found her self trying to lie to the cops telling them I through a pen at him and that I said I was going to cancel the charger......... Sad to see a salon doing so bad because of very bad service get aggressive over a $40 bill that was payed. Never go here I should have read the reviews be for I did....... Hope this helps them do better....... Quality and respect for costermers keeps a salon open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a gift card for deluxe pedicure... The nail tech rushed through it and the massage AND paint job were garbage. Also, got a full set and they charged $10 extra for coffin cut. They decided to do my Mani/pedi at the same time and rushed through them both (the place was dead not even busy). My nails look horrible. He didnt even clean up the nail polish he got on my skin. NEVER again. My gift card said tip is included and he tried to say it didnt..I will continue going to Cool Nails on federal highway. Always an awesome job.

This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to!! Their power went out as I was getting a gel manicure, which didn’t cure the nail polish correctly. Nails wound up cracking, went back, and they expected for me to pay for an entire new gel manicure. Not to mention, pedicure was horrible! Lady in front is rude and does not care about losing customers!! Starting cursing as I said I would never come back!! I’d rather have a two year old do my nails than anyone in this place!!!

This place deserves no starsThis was the worst nail shop experience I’ve ever had. I have acrylic everywhere my toe polish looks like a third grader did it my nails are crooked and uneven. I went back into the shop I asked another employee to file the nails but they already have gel polish on them she attempted to file them with a nail file which did nothing.All this cost me $80.00Please never go here! No wonder the shop is always empty when ever I go to the grocery store.

Went for a manicure, elt more rushed than usual. Seemed only interested in me getting a main pedi. Cuticiles werent even done properly and the clear coat started to peel that night right after my first shower.

They dont do good job at all i got peducure and polish was clumpy she clipped my nails rubbed some stuff on my feet put a hot towel on my feet for 2 seconds and polished them. My daughter got her nails done they was short extra 20 for gel polish. BY FAR THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRRR! When you walk in you think it’s a normal nail salon and when you ask for a pedicure they give you a pedicure like every other nail salon. NO! For $25 they just mildly scrub your feet, cut your toe nails and cuticles and they are ready to polish. If you want the dead skin removed from under your feet you have to pay $10 more...and even that they can’t do well. I left feeling like I still needed a pedicure after paying my $10 extra. So, $35 dollars for a horrible pedicure. This place is a TOTAL RIP OFF! I’ll never ever revisit. If there was a no star option I’d choose that!

I have been to this place 5 times now. Every time I go back it gets worse and worse. All the nail polishes are old and stick together and chip within a few days and not to mention they charge a price on a luxury nail salon. I have learned my lesson and will not be returning.

I wasted a hour of my life and left with no Polish on my nails and was charged 35 for nothing..I thought Id save time by going here but, what a disaster. They have a terrible gel colors by some weird brand daisy..so,I decided on French but, the guy kept trying to convince me off of French I guess with a empty salon he had no time... they dont Polish the nails before French which is just unreal..I shouldve checked if they even went beauty school.. they dont take pride in nails..Im hoping this just a money laundering front and they arent feeding their families with that terridle of service.Im am not suprised at all the bad reviews I never cry bit I have no other words besides horrible

This was not the professional job i expected. The manager had to redo my nails 3 times and they still turned out not as good as i expected.

Wanted to charge$10 for services that are part of a pedicure. All three ladies that work there told their customers about the fees after services.

Nails

They charge you for gel powder and polish and actually use acrylic powder. They charge to file a little shorter. They overcharge for everything to begin with and then nickel and dime you for everything on top of it. A gel fill (actually acrylic) and polish is $40, $20 for gel polish on your toes, $5 to take gel polish off your toes.
