This place changed my life for ever. I have never been able to fully feel like I have gotten 110% out of treatment, this place is amazing place to get clean and I will forever be grateful for this place. The staff are wonderful and show compassion and love and really have helped me get through a rough patch. Recovery Unplugged is absolutely incredible!!!! The staff ALL genuinely care about the clients. Alumni coordinators will do everything they can to accommodate the clients needs. Case management is very transparent and works with you every step of the way. The therapists also gear your sessions towards whatever your needs are. The facility was great along with the staff members. The reason it get 1 star is because of the lying and deceit that happens behind the scene. I spoke with the admissions rep Tim. He said in order for us to get you in we need to put $3,000 down on your credit card”but don’t worry as soon as your insurance shows active we will refund you”. I am still trying to get that money refunded. What they did is consider me self pay with top tier insurance. The funny thing is if I was considered self pay for detox why would they run detox through my insurance? The worst experience I have ever had….

Its the best treatment center Ive ever been to the staff is incredible and all of them care. Ill always hold RU and the staff close to my heart. Chase is the best Alumni Coordinator they have. Alex is the best tech and John is the best admissions rep!! Sharlene is the best case manager and Rachel is the best housing manger. This place/program is amazing. Everyone from the staff, therapists, techs and nurses are incredibly helpful. It’s clear they all want to help in any way they can. The music aspect of the program is very therapeutic. The campus is large and very nice. The groups are informative and very helpful for recovery. Recovery Unplugged is a Wonderful program. The Florida Facility is the best. I started in Lake Worth and Gladis the Nurse and Ryan the Tech were part of my first my interaction. They made me feel comfortable and welcome even though I came in at 3am ! Josh is a great Therapist he knows what he is doing. Nina is also an Awesome therapist she has a unique technique that works ! Kailtlyn and David were very helpful cases managers ! Every single one of the nurses were awesome they truly saved me. I wish I could personally mention all of them ! Gina, Cowboy, Jeniffer, Alice always made sure I had all my snacks, made sure my space was clean and just stood up late and talked me thru all the emotions I went thru. Marissa is a Awesome Group facilitator. She can connect with anyone and everyone and we can’t forget her voice !!! She so talented ! So greatful for the lake worth staff ! The Fort Lauderdale staff is also amazing ! They welcomed me with opened arms ! This being my first time in treatment they made sure I was taken care of and help me with everything ! Stephanie the Group Facilitator is Awesome ! She always has me Dying from laughter ! We love our Karaoke too ! Teo & Brittany are amazing techs as well they stay up with me and just have a way with there words to keep me sane ! I love Delores and Steph the morning techs as well !! They always have me up and laughing right in the morning !! The Drs are amazing !!!! Beth, Shawrts, and every single one of them took care of me and made sure to actually help me not just prescribe me random medication. I love Bri , Chase, and Dan they bring so much energy too . Bri has talked me though many dark days ! I can go on for days ! I LOVE RECOVERY UNPLUGGED & IM FOREVER GRATEFUL!

It was my first time in rehab. I only wanted to go the detox. My family got me to do a 30 day treatment. If it wasn’t for Recovery Unplugged I wouldn’t have lasted 5 days. The team showed a genuine concern about my well being. They were always there when I needed someone to talk to. The environment was clean, great food and comfortable living. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else for my treatment. The alumni meetings give me something to look forward to each week. Thank you Recovery Unplugged for being there for me!

Recovery unplugged in Fort Lauderdale is different than other recovery centers. You are more than just a number here. So many times I tried to AMA they saw something in me I didn’t see myself. The groups can get monotonous, but if you work the program with the tools they give you, you’ll slowly see a difference in how you view yourself. They gave me a sense of community no rehab has ever given me.

I came to RU a few months ago, broken and hopeless. I didnt think I could get clean again, I just didnt know what else to do. I had overdosed again.. I had given up. I have worked the 12 steps in the past; but that alone could not get me clean this time- I needed more help in order for me to stop what I was doing, and it was truly a miracle that I ended up at this facility. I was not an easy client, I struggled every step of the way because I was filled with so much self hate, regret, and shame. EVERY staff member showed me unconditional love and patience. They spent so much time caring for me and working with me on an individualized treatment plan- and with that I started to trust them and trust the process. I never thought I would have the opportunity to get clean again. I whole heartedly believe if I hadnt come here I would be dead right now. I would recommend RU to anyone that is struggling out there. ❤

Immediately upon arrival to recovery unplugged, I was treated with dignity and respect, and coming from where I was prior, that was an absolute breath of fresh air. The staff here is incredibly personable, from the behavioral technicians, to the kitchen staff, I found communication and basic needs were far exceeded. I couldn’t be more thankful for the therapists who put their all into helping me take a deeper look inside the issues that have been plaguing me for years. Of all the treatment centers I’ve heard of or visited, this was by far the most pleasant. I will continue care and will do my best to help give back to this community for all they’ve done for me.

Recovery unplugged offers a unique approach to treatment. The staff made me feel like family. The music piece of the treatment was an awesome experience. I have been through treatment 8 times in the last 10 years and 3 of those were just this past year. I have never experienced anything like what RU has to offer. This program has helped me with medication management, it’s helped find self love/worth again, and left me with hope that I could regain control over my life and a sober one at that. If you’re struggling with addiction, I would highly recommend this program. The music aspect was something I’d never heard of before and also really made groups and sessions more engaging. I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. Overall this program was incredible and I’ve got nothing but gratitude for the staff and the other clients that helped support my desire to get clean.

The whole staff treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable even when I was at my most vulnerable state.When we would get back to the residence from clinical, all the techs were willing to take some time to sit with me when I was going through it. The lead tech John really went above and beyond for me and the other clients. He brings a positive energy when we need it the most. I have been to five Treatment Center than the past 20 years and by far recovery unplugged is the best! The staff is very caring and professional. The facility is first class. They make it very comfortable for you to stay there. The music therapy combined with cognitive therapy is winning combination. They challenged me to look deep within myself to deal with issues Ive never dealt with. This type of therapy was very helpful in my recovery journey. I would highly recommend this treatment center for anyone struggling with addiction problems. If I could have given them more than five stars I would have.

I want to speak from two different sides of the spectrum. First and foremost I am a proud employee of recovery unplugged and have been with this company since 12/17. The connection between the staff and clients is an undescrible feeling. The connection continues from the top down. Love, compassion and the passion to help as many as we can.I also have a brother who came to Recovery Unplugged in March. My brother has been unsuccessful in several other treatments and struggled to connect with the staff and therapists prior to coming to our center. Since coming to Recovery Unplugged he has changed so much and has not only opened up to staff and therapists but to me as well. He has been there for 3 months and is currently working and has a strong connection with his therapist. I’ve never seen this side of him before this. This is by far the best institution in all of Florida. I’ll never forget when I took the first phone call from here by one of the admissions employees, Chad Simcich. Literally, Chad stuck with me throughout the entire process and was always available at any time I needed anything. He would even answer the phone late at night to check up on me. He was literally available 24/7 and was always a call away. If it weren’t especially for Chad and the entire recovery unplugged staff, I have no idea where I would be today. I will always refer any clients to Chad Simcich. He still to this day keeps in touch with me and follows up with my progress. I owe my life to him and the entire recovery unplugged staff. I hope whoever is reading this knows that he literally saved my life.

This is my fifth treatment center and this is by far the best treatment center Ive ever been to. The way they incorporated music into everything really helped me to get engaged immediately and really helped me deal with issues on a deeper emotional level. Also, the biggest difference i noticed with Recovery Unplugged compared to other treatment centers is the staff. The counselors, techs, and all other staff is so invested in the success of every single client; you really know that they care so much and work so hard to ensure everyone leaves with the absolute best chance at sobriety. They really do want to see everyone succeed and most of the staff is in recovery themselves so theyre also extremely relatable when it comes to issues dealing with addiction. I would absolutely recommend this place to ANYONE struggling with addiction. This place works! And music really does make the difference. I truly feel like Im finally gonna make it this time. Thank you so much Recovery Unplugged for giving me a new life and love for myself.

My son was court ordered per recommendation of his attorney, Robert Malove. My son has a lot of problems, but, he is not an addict nor alcoholic. I repeated this again and again to RU, and added that my son will run from their program and will be a danger to society. They poo-pooed my desperate repeated pleas (heck, at $1,000 per day) . Guess what? Two days after he arrived there hes gone. A fugitive. Nobody kniws where he is and nobody seems to care much. When somebody is hurt, I will hold RU, among others, responsible.

Over five years ago, someone who i love and means the world to me started a fight with addiction. He went to different recovery centers but none could compare to Recovery Unplugged, not only with progress but with the program in general. We love the people that work there, the program itself, and couldnt thank them enough for all of their help. My cousin is over a year clean and is the best hes ever been 💛

Absolutely amazing facility. My son was in active addiction for 13 long years. Recovery unplugged saved his life. Staff was wonderful, kept me informed of his progress. He is nearing 3 years clean!!Would highly recommend.

My best friends sister is now clean and sober after many years of fighting the battle of addiction. It is a true miracle. This facility really cares about all of their clients and the families that are involved. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything that Recovery Unplugged has done for us!!

Absolutely wonderful program filled with amazing counselors and techs that really care about you and your efforts to get clean. I would recommend this program at anybody with a love for music or who is really trying to better there life.

What can i say Recovery Unplugged has renewed our faith in treatment facilities, they were the light at the end of a long dark tunnel that at one time seemed never ending and unreachable. My Nephew who is more like a brother to me was given his 1000th chance by being accepted in the program and our family is eternally grateful ,he celebrates 3 years clean today and i couldnt be more proud for him and everyone that pushed him along the way, thank you!! The guys at Recovery Unplugged Ft Lauderdale were great help in dealing with our son in recovery. They went above and beyond to assist us under difficult circumstances on a holiday. Would certainly recommend them.
