I went somewhat reluctantly for a hearing test. The first audiologist I saw offered only one brand of hearing aid and pressured me to make a decision. I decided I wanted a second opinion and went to Hear Again America and met with Janine. She was efficient and thorough, patient, and no pressure. Her honesty about products and options was outstanding. She even suggested seeing an ENT doctor if that would help me decide. Without hesitation I placed an order for hearing aids and received more excellent service in getting them set up and adjusted. I highly recommend Janine and Hear Again America. By the way, I also had a choice of several brands and the prices were considerably less than the first place I visited for equal or better quality.

Finally realizing I had to do something about my hearing problem, I started the difficult search for a trusted individual to assist me in finding the right solution. After making several phone calls I decided to use Hear Again America on Commercial Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.After almost three months of trying different types of hearing aids I finally discovered the hearing aid exactly right for me. I can not express enough how much I appreciate the patience of Janine the audiologist. Her goal was to see that I was 100% satisfied.Choosing Hear Again America was the best choice for me because of the customer service from Raquel to the personal care and concern from Janine. Top notch in every area. Let them help you find your perfect fit in hearing aids.

Since my first visit many years ago, the professionals at Better Hearing have been extremely helpful explaining and treating my hearing loss. Although my particular hearing deficit can be frustrating, my Starkey hearing aids have greatly enhanced my ability to understand speech. I have required numerous visits for tuning, modificatons and sometimes repairs and Janine, Racquel and Joy have always been cheerful, accommodating and most helpful. I’ve never gone anywhere else and hope I don’t ever need to.

I was fortunate to come back to hear America again with a new audiologist Jannine. I was in the middle of switching from one brand and style to another as she stepped in. She helped me make the decision based on the nature of my profession. I am a Captain and I am on the water and in loud engine room spaces as well as quiet areas. With her help and patience I chose the Starkey Livio Edge Hearing aids. They fit my lifestyle perfectly, I can use them to answer my phone and make specific settings for different environments. The best part of the experience was working with Janine, She really loves her job and helped me to feel very comfortable with all of the decisions that I had to make, as well as teaching me how to use this high technology device. She even called me over a weekend to check on me when I was having some issues with the settings and help me correct things over the phone. The office manager Racquel is also a pleasure to work with, I always look forward to going back for a check ups.

About 2 weeks ago my husband and I went to this place so he could be be fitted for hearing aids. He was tested immediately and the audiologist,Glen, clearly explained the models available to him. A model was selected and placed in his ears. His hearing improved right away. Glen then downloaded an app to a smart phone and explained many of the features he could use like tapping twice on the aid to have it adapt to the immediate surroundings. Although many of the features seemed complicated Glen spent 2 hours with us explaining things. The same was true at the second appointment. We were never rushed. The office manager,Racquel, did everything she possibly could to get me the necessary paper work so we could get money back from insurance. This is a very pleasant, efficient, well-run office.

I really love this place! They are very thorough and helpful. They didnt sell me hearing aids and then say Good Luck! They schedule quarterly visits to make sure my hearing aids are working at their top performance. They are friendly, courteous and professional.

To start, everyone here is so warm and inviting. We were greeted, with a smile, before i had my grandfather all the way out of the car. The welcoming feeling and superior service did not stop at reception. He (my grandfather) was treated like a family member throughout the visit. Because the doctor cleaned his ears and tuned his hearing aids, he can hear better than i can remember him hearing in at least 15 years. Females can speak in a soft voice and he is able to understand them clearly! I woke up today and one of his aids wasnt working. I called the office, they had me come in and had his ears working in less than 2 minutes. I can go on and on with how AMAZING my experiences with World of Sound have been, but the bottom line is that the service, experience and outcome could not be better than what i get from World of Sound and i recommend and suggest that anyone with a hearing need uses this office.

Today I went with both my parents to have our hearing tested as well as my Dad’s hearing aids serviced for the first time since 2013. Dr. Lea T. helped all of us, one at a time. My Dad is very playful and has trouble focusing and yet she was incredibly patient with him, something that helped me tremendously as well as him. She helped him to understand that humidity was affecting his hearing aids and explained to him what he could do about it. When it was my turn, I was anxious about the testing booth as I am claustrophobic, which she picked up on immediately when I asked “How long the test would be?” As a result, she allowed me to take the test with the door ajar. That greatly helped my anxiety. My parents and I were extremely impressed with her absolute professionalism, thoroughness as well as kindness. We cannot recommend World of Sounds Hearing Aids and Dr. Lea T. highly enough. If you decided to go, you will be as pleased as we all are with them. I cannot thank them enough.

My husband, who got bilateral hearing aids, and I were extremely impressed with Dr. Lea and her staff. Dr. Leas explanation, examination, teaching, and patience made a difficult life decision easy. Her staff was extremely helpful in getting insurance information and scheduling. And my husband is now hearing me and all the other noises he was missing.

Thank you for making my world sound so much better! I cannot even express how much Dr Lea improved my quality of life. I feel like a completely different person. I have now overcome my fear of wearing my hearing aids and can do many more things that I was not able to do before! Highly recommended!

FANTASTIC service, I am a disabled veteran and have PTSD amung other injuries. Dr and staff treated me with the best respect and made me more comfortable than any prior provider. Even during the hearing test, she allowed the booth door open to keep me comfortable. The exam was the best I have ever had and the personal kindness surpassed any expectation. I am 100% satisfied and will gladly return for hearing aids, exams and maybe just to talk and have a coffee. That office is on my Christmas list for sure. GOD BLESS them for caring for veterans. I just got here. Ive been to every doctor imaginable without them having found out whats wrong with me. The docs tried free tests which I really appreciate but it didnt help. Id still absolutely come here if you have hearing issues. God bless these ladies.

The doctors at World of Sound Hearing Aid changed my life. I had hearing loss for as long as I can remember, probably since I was a child. I have been watching movies with subtitles for many years, so that my husband and son would not have to turn up the volume. I was embarrassed to get hearing aids because of my young age. I was walking by and stopped in at this office spur of the moment without an appointment and I was warmly welcomed, given a full extremely detailed hearing exam, and offered hearing aids at a very affordable price. I can now hear sounds in nature that I didnt even know existed and I no longer need subtitles. I have never made any purchase that I value more than my hearing aids. These doctors are wonderful!!!

I purchased my hearing aids here. They service them every 4 months. Dr. Lea Thomas, Au.D is very good at setting the adjustments of the aids to work. My aids have been a great help to me.

Last July as I left my dentists office I noticed a sign in the window of the office next door which said Free Hearing Test. I decided to walk in and was cordially greeted by Raquel, office manager, who set up an appointment with Dr. Lea Thomas. During my interview with Dr. Lea who made me feel welcomed and totally relaxed. I explained to her that years ago I wore a Miracle Ear in my right ear as a result of a deficit since infancy. (I waited until adulthood to do something about it). Unfortunately, I could not adjust the volume properly so I stopped using it. After my audio test with Dr. Lea and with much discussion we decided to get the Starkey Model MRIC for me. I have never been happier with my new ears. Thank you Dr. Lea & Raquel

I was having trouble with my hearing aids today, and got an early appointment at this office. Dr Lea quickly changed my wax guards, and gave me guidance on what to do when the guards became clogged. She didnt even charge me for this help, which I very much appreciated.
