Tried out this location. Friendly staff. Clean equipment. Bring your own locks for the locker room. The Black Card Area is small, but clean. It has massage chairs, tanning beds, and hydro beds - no Total Fitness machine like at my home location. This is not a 24-hour location. Did I mention it is clean?! I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Anthony was amazing. He is very educational about the facility. The facility is very comfortable and inviting. Cant wait to start my new weight loss journey with you guys.

OH MY GOSH! This establishment is outstanding. Everyone was so helpful in my signing up process. It was so easy as 1 2 3. Shauna was very helpful and she kept a smile on her face. Amazing individual hope to see her level up and also one of the associates cam walked me around and also showed me how to use some of the machines. A dedicated associate put a tear in my eye 🥲. IT WAS GREAT!!!!

So Ive been a member of this gym for 3 weeks now, so far so good. Four suggestions the paper towel machines need more attention a lot of times you go and either they are empty or dont work, ladies bathroom definitely needs more cleaning, dont wait to long to fix machines theres been an elliptical out of service for the past 2 weeks and last but not least the windows that are on the side of 27th st where the legs machine are needs to be cover (blinds) is impossible to workout w/ the sun hitting your face so bad. I want to mention Santana has been so nice and understanding w/ me. Shes getting me ready for my wedding! Anyways these are small details that can be fixed to obtain a 5 star review.

Shauna the general manager was amazing. She was very helpful and very polite to all my needs. She’s very knowledgeable of the everything that pertains to the gym. She has excellent customer service and also the trainer Santana was very helpful and she knows everything about muscle growth and recovery. Can’t wait to join the Planet fitness Family. 😄

Such a terrible experience. I’ve been waiting for this location to reopen since March so I can sign up for a membership. I got one of their free day passes to check out this location, but got chewed out and threatened by the manager Shauna and personal trainer Santana. I got the free day pass on Saturday, but was busy so I decided to come in and use it on Monday. When I got there, Shauna told me since I received the day pass on Saturday, I was only allowed to use it on Saturday. I told here it says I have up to two weeks to use it. She started arguing with me and said I was only able to use it the day I received it in my email. I showed her where it said I have up to two weeks to use it and asked her if she could read it. She got very offended and threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave. Seriously?! I’ve been waiting forever for this location to reopen because a friend recommended it to me and now I’m getting threatened and can’t use a single day pass?! The personal trainer Santana decided to chime in and kept telling me to take a “deep breath”. I was breathing perfectly fine, I just wanted to check out a gym that I was interested in signing up a membership with but God forbid I ever go back to this location. Santana spent the next ten minutes trying to talk me into using her as a personal trainer, but I told her I wasn’t interested, I just want to use my one free day pass! The manager came out and told me I could use my day pass (finally!!). After three minutes of working out, Santana grabs the elliptical and forces me to stop. She then grabs my arm and tries to drag me out of the gym. I told her to let go, then asked Shauna why I have to leave. I guess Santana was very upset that I denied her training services. I cannot believe she would grab my arm and try to drag me out!! Shauna told me I can go back to working out. Such an unbelievable experience. I can’t believe I got threatened and physically dragged just to use a free day pass to check out the gym. God forbid I sign up for their membership! I’d rather drive an extra ten minutes to use the Plantation location. I’d love to get in touch with the owner to tell them about my experience. After my time there, there was never more than four people working out at once. I mean really? You’d rather threaten me and let your big gym sit empty instead of letting check it out for a day? Unbelievable.

I signed up at this location, shortly after they closed their doors. I never used my membership at all. Once they re opened they begun to charge me again. I tried to cancel my membership but they cannot find me in their system. So they would not cancel my membership and continued to charge me. I tried to explain my problem to several employees with no success. When I spoke to the manager she was VERY rude and refused to help resolve this issue. As a customer I have no way to access their system so I cannot help myself. DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS LOCATION!

Planet fitness has been an amazing journey for me, I have been with them since 2015 I have enjoyed it.they have wonderful staff especially Marlena .Marlena always ready to help anyone.I will definitely recommend this gym for anyone .I love the massage the machines.wonderful journey ....

Love coming to this location. John always helps me and is really friendly and attentive. I always see him cleaning and restocking which lets me know this location must be run really well.

Only two showers in the ladies locker room. The one changing room is separate. So you have no privacy or protection of your personal belongings while youre showering. You have to get in the shower and get undressed and then go across the bathroom to change clothes again. Also no sanitizer spray was provided and when I asked the front desk they said they take care of that when they do their cleaning rounds. But the showers do not get cleaned between uses.

The Manager Amanda was amazing and made the sign up process simple and easy! The staff is super nice and actually help if you have a question. Comfortable place to workout and even open late for a busy family.

Super excited that this particular PF location has re opened. Its open 24/7, great location , and very spacious. The staff are friendly and great environment. This location and the coconut creek PF location are my fave PF locations in Broward county.

Wish this location had more free weights and for that reason I dont recommend for seasoned lifters 😢

It’s a good gym, but it’s almost all machines. No kettlebells, no barbells that aren’t attached to a smith machine, no boxes. If you want a regular workout or you’re just starting to workout, it’s a great gym. But if you’re an athlete or like more than machines and dumbbells in your workout, I wouldn’t suggest it.

Every time I come in I get a great greeting from the GM shauna and staff John and Melissa and the gym is always clean I would definitely be coming back and recommend customers to come to this location

This has been my home gym for a few years. Ive always had a good relationship with any manager/ employees that have worked here. It seems like ever since covid, people are way more high strung, and address their issues with employees so rudely. I feel bad for Shauna the manager, and the other employees, I watch people yell and curse at them on a daily basis. If theres one thing negative I had to say, it would be that I dont think they were ready to open since the water damage renovation, I feel like they had a little more work to do. And It didnt bother me, but the way planet fitness handled the initial first payment since reopening, upset a lot of people, and a lot of members take out their frustration on the employees. But Im glad my gym is open again! Thank you, to the staff.

This gym is new, clean, and provides all the needed sanitizers for a safe workout. The times I visit the crowd is light.

I live 30 min away but still go to this gym once in a while because of the attention. Melissa ( curly hair girl) really hope that’s her name and i didn’t forget was amazing, very helpful and friendly.

I received a flier for a very low price monthly and decided to check it out. The people there were pretty friendly and it wasnt that crowded. I have started the sign up process. Im looking forward to my 1st work out there.

I sent a certified letter in December of 2020 to cancel my membership, while the gym was closed due to Covid. The gym reopened in June 2021 and charged me for a month fee on June 17. Then sent me a confirmation of my cancellation on June 20.When I went in person to the gym to get a refund, I was told we dont do refunds. When I asked for a manager, I was told, she was in a meeting and would call me. That didnt happen either.Somehow, I dont think any of this was a mistake.

Ive been going to this same gym for years since it opened up the staff is pretty cool and its usually a really popular gym.

The trainer is so amazing, stared working with her in the beginning of summer she is literally the best! if you need to work on your butt losing weight or whatever she got you and she’s pretty funny 😆

The worst! I have never went to a gym that said I couldn’t wear a tiny book bag on my back while working out… then I was harassed by a worker who argued with me! When the manger came out I was told bookbags aren’t allowed because people have ran into the gym and snatched them off people’s back… keep in mind I just joined a week ago and was told my mini book bag was ok to wear on my back.. just no bags on floor or hanging off machines.. this is one of the worst gyms I had ever joined and will stick with LA Fitness even if I have to travel further…needless to say membership cancelled!

Kareema was very helpful in allowing me to create my account. She is very knowledgeable and considerate which showed me that she is definitely a credit to your company.

Gym was closed for nearly a year during COVID. They reopened either with a new owner or maybe they got a PPP Loan, and are expecting me to pay for 3 months of fees while they were closed. As if all the members didnt find another place to work out. I know I have, in my new building which is 40 minutes away. I tried calling both their corporate office and the location itself and the staff is completely incompetent. Why would they think I would drive from downtown Miami to work out here when they had gone out of business already? Do not give them your credit card information and go somewhere else!

Pretty nice gym as far as Planet Fitness goes. Everything was was and racked properly. No machines were out of order and it seemed pretty updated. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and friendly. I’m here around noon on a Saturday and it’s for the most part empty. Probably one of the nicest PFs I’ve been to.

Unfortunate that the Broward location is temporarily closed. I was personally called by the Regional manager Martha and she was very polite and explain the situation. Good customer service.

Santanna is a great trainer, constantly pushing you past your limits. Greatly recommend her!

Hello planet fitness team I just thought you should know that I was at the Broward location in Fort Lauderdale yesterday. The 2 girls that you have working at the front counter are some of the most unattentive, inexperienced and inconsiderate eemployees Ive ever met. Not only could they not answer a single one of my questions but they did not know where to find the information or so much as willing to help find the information. And these were normal simple question that I had about the gym. How many trainners, whats the schedule of the trainers, price for monthly membership, and even times when the gym was open. I was quoted one price by one of the employees and when it was time to sign up for the monthly contract I was given another price. This is bait and switch at its finest. Which is also illegal. Also I would like to add that your advertisement on Instagram expires July 16th and not July 6th as I was told by the employees yesterday at the planet fitness in Fort Lauderdale. I have never been in a gym where the employees were so disrespectful, inconsiderate and unprofessional towards the customers.

This club is small. Underwhelming even for 10 dollars. Service is not helpful and the corporate structure is built to make you even madder when they inevitably rip you off. For me they stole 10 dollars and wont give it back, who knows what theyll take from you and which day youre gonna wake up mad enough to write a review.

Love this gym! I’m a black card holder and I travel consistently for work. I’ve been stuck down here in Florida for a while due to covid but wow what an amazing staff. Marcos greeted me this morning in a very professional way. Most people at the front desk in other gyms are dull and don’t have much customer service in them. Very clean gym as well I have to say. Very happy with the way this gym is run! Thank you guys for the great experience

The facility at this location is extremely clean, sanitary and promotes and practices excellent social distancing and tidiness. We have been meeting with our Trainer, Kensley by way of the gyms provision and he is impeccable. Kensley is a great source of motivation. He is patient yet firm to help you to push through and reach the goal. I highly recommend this location.

Awful, no space and only pull up bar, plus they dont give free day pass, Im only still active because of bad weather.

Everything was great until it closed. The only option given to me was to go to a nearby club (Lauderhill) and that I wont be charged until it reopens. Well, that does not work for me as it is too far. I drove to the Lauderhill gym which told me they cant cancel the membership and to go online and contact CS. Upon contacting CS, they told me to cancel at the club!There are no numbers to speak with anyone at corporate, and the gyms do not provide any avenues.So the situation is as follows:1 - Club closed due to damages.2- You are not getting billed for now, and you can go to a nearby club for free.3 - However, there are 0 avenues to cancel the membership.What is happening here is that they are illegally denying us a chance to cancel the membership with the excuse of not getting billed because of circumstances out of our control, such as a damaged/closed gym.Also, when i went to another gym they told me i was overdue and needed to pay for the month, which I did to get in as i was not even informed it was closed!!!Are there any class-action lawsuits coming? Because i am pretty sure this is illegal.

Great place 24hrs a day in weekdays? YES YES....SUPER clean, friendly staff. Very low monthly fees . It could bigger but some things are just right! Two great features are this. One: the place has a no grunting, no dropping weights or making judgments buzzer! Calling out gym douchbags as they really are! Second, they have a crowd meter that shows the current inside people traffic on their app. About 16 people or so was 3 bars on the meter but just an approximate. Tanning booths and a massage table I believe are included in the black pass membership. Definitley worth checking out!

The building is real clean. We are required to clean equipment after each use. Personal trainer Kensley was perfect. Real helpful. I feel a major difference

This is a nice , clean gym but it can get busy! The staff is awesome! The clientele is diverse, not for everyone... all socioeconomic and educational levels and political parties! Sorry I had to mention that some do make it obvious and I dont care for them! Other than that when the gym is not too busy its great!

Staff it’s very polite and friendly, the location it’s very clean all the time and everyone it’s following the cleanliness guidelines. My trainer Kingsley, he is amazing, a great motivation, knowledgeable and friendly. I’m 4 weeks I have advanced tons in my training and is thanks to him. Thanks for the great job!

All I want to know is when is the Fort Lauderdale gym on Broward is going to reopen again, because nobody wants to be driving many miles to another gym. Ive seen all the reviews and Im seeing that nobody from planet fitness is saying when the Fort Lauderdale gym is going to reopen again. my bet is because theyre not saying when its going to reopen again that is probably not going to reopen at all.

Just would like to thank the manager for having Marcos as an employee there. His customer service is absolutely amazing. Thank you Marcos for being who you are . I appreciate it that you took the time out to help me transfer in from Colorado to Florida at planet fitness. You are amazing, thank you again.!!!!!!
