After trying several different boutiques, my bridesmaid took me to this gem of a place. I was treated with such elegance as if the day itself was my wedding day. They looked through so many gowns and even worked with me on the first purchase I had made which wasnt the best for me. Shirley made sure I was happy with my purchase. Then on to the fitting, the ladies were amazing at what they do. My dress was fitted to my body to perfection. I am still in awe of my amazing dress and so thankful for this place! Every interaction with this bridal store was completely unprofessional. The worst part is I purchased my prom dress from the store years ago and was very excited to use them for my wedding dress. Now I wish I had walked out and kept the other appointments I had originally scheduled. The first issue we had was they ordered my bridesmaid the completely wrong dress. Completely wrong. Told us this has never happened in the 36 years they have been opened but there wasn’t a way to fix it by getting the correct dress since it comes from a shop overseas. Next, the week before my wedding at my “final” dress fitting, my dress actually was worse than the first two fittings. While I think there may have been a language barrier issue, the owner tried to tell me it was my fault. Thank God my mom took pictures of me in the dress at each fitting that we were able to show him as proof that they messed it up. The final straw that led to this review - my wedding is Saturday (3 days away) - we went to pick up our ring bearer’s suit that was ordered for a month - and the owner ordered the wrong color. Once again, it was my fault and he had the nerve to tell me I ordered that color and that he would not have written down the wrong number identifying which suit was ordered. Once again - hasn’t happened in the 36 years he’s been open. Except the entire bridal party is in navy and we never even spoke about a grey suit. Apparently it’s impossible for him to get the correct suit by this weekend of course so he is leaving me with no way to fix the problem. After being called obnoxious and told to leave his store with no suit I am on my way to try to find another 3 days before my wedding.

I had a amazing experience at this bridal shop. I called the bridal shop on April 21st 2021 and spoke with Shirley. We booked a appointment for me to come in the following day. I came in very nervous because my wedding was that Saturday April 24th 2021. I had no wedding dress what so ever. I purchased a wedding dress online and the dress ended up being to small for me. Shirley went and found two dresses for me to try on. The second dress I tried on I said “Yes to the dress”. She was very honest, kind and helpful. Shirley worked very quickly and efficiently due to the limited time I had. I brought in a veil that also needed a comb added to it. I had my veil ready for pick up Thursday April 22nd. I came in for a fitting on April Thursday to fix just the back of my wedding dress and the armpit area so I would be able to freely move my arms. My dress was ready on Friday April 23rd for me to pick up. I tried on my dress and it fit absolutely perfect. Everything was corrected, my dress was steamed and ready to go for my big day. Shirley was amazing and I know my wedding dress will be a show stopper.

I got married on 2.16.19 and got my dress from Patricias! Shirley knew exactly what I wanted and was able to help me find my dream dress and let me tell you IT WAS PERFECT! Whole experience was underwhelming. Makes me sad that it was my first experience with buying my wedding dress. Arrived at 1015 for a 1030 appt. Rang the bell (as the sign said) and waited for 10mins. I called the store twice before someone answered and she informed me that the store doesnt open until 1030...In the store she informed me that all of the nice dresses were out of my budget but I could try on the sample dresses. Reminded me about my small budget several times before offering to bundle a belt and veil if I wanted. I think she thought she was being nice but it didnt come across that way. It was a cold environment so we left without buying a dress. I did ask for her to put one aside that I kind of liked but looking back at pictures my sister took of me in it I can see several stains and that the ;ace is starting to come apart.

I came into this store with no expectations to find my wedding dress since I had been to a very fancy store in gables where service was great but the lady at gables didnt really listen to what I was looking for. Well Shirley thankfully did! She nailed it🙏❤ . I chose about 4 dresses and she chose one that she thought I would like. I tried the one she chose first and I finally felt that feeling people told me about😭❤.... when you know thats the one. Well I bought it on the spot and couldnt be any happier. Shirley has a good eye for what will look good for your body type and I believe this is key. She wasnt playing any games and I loved that because I was in and out for me as a realtor time is of the essence so I did appreciate that. Awesome experience! From entering into the store and the very welcoming staff, everything went perfectly. This bridal store is amazing with the kindest employees. Deb found me my dream wedding dress and was well within my budget. Deb made me feel so special on the day I said “yes to the dress” and continued to be there during the alterations process and going above and beyond. Deb knows her dresses, the ultimate fit, and listens to exactly what you are looking for. I chose the second dress Deb pulled for me and it is truly an amazing bridal gown. I went to visit hoping to find a dress for a special wedding Im attending and found Shirley who was just perfect. She helped me figure out what looked best and would work with my figure. Needless to say I purchased a beautiful A line dress and have been back twice for my fittings. Maria the seamstress was outstanding and did a great job. Over all a nice tuxedo but very thin in material the shirt I received had and old ring a round the color shoes were not to my standard for a tuxedo cheap vinyl material. Granted the Jacket was nice the pants fit perfect I did have to get my own shoes and new tux shirt which led to more of an expense. Tux cost was$ 220.00. I wish they offered just the jacket and pants.

Do not waste your time. I purchased my wedding dress there the salesperson she was very nice. Maria, the seamstress is terrible. The salesperson told me she was the best I would hate to see the worst. I paid $150 for alteration she made the dress Worse. On my third fitting, I had to take my dress somewhere else. I asked to speak to the manager no one came out. The receptionist kept on apologizing, but her apology didn’t matter cause they will not refund anything. It seems to me once they get your money customer service is out the door. Whatever you do, do not let Maria touch your dress. She is worthless.

I was very nervous going to chose my wedding dress since my wedding is in only 4 months. Shirley was amazing!!!! She listened to exactly what I needed. So I love Deborah. I appreciated her honesty with me and her ability to pick out the exact dress I described/wanted. I felt that if my mom and sister weren’t there she still would have been able to help me pick the best dress for me and not just tell me what I want to hear/be afraid to be honest with me. I could see how some might take her honesty the wrong way, but I felt she delivered it professionally and in a sensitive manner - I never felt she was rude or insensitive. Needless to say I loved my dress. The only negative thing I have to say is dealing with the seamstress they have there. I saw others mention the language barrier and I struggled with the same issues. I do not feel it is fair to discredit this great wedding dress boutique for my issues with the seamstress because Deborah made sure I left feeling it fit perfectly! It is tough when you are already stressed out and can’t communicate with someone what you want fixed/what your options are. However, my fourth and supposed to be final fitting Deborah could see I was visibly upset and brought in the tailor they have there (who I LOVED and the only thing I would have changed would have been to ask for him to do my alterations from the beginning). He reassured me it would be perfect and we made some last minute alterations and it fit like a glove. I would 100% recommend Deborah and Patricia’s Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

First and last time for us with this place. They offer you great discounts when they know a wedding dress is damaged.When you realized and complaint about it, the owner himself and staff would just tell you that that’s your problem now and there’s nothing they can do about it. This happened to my daughter. We didn’t realize there was a discoloration on her dress until she used it outdoors on her wedding day at the beach.The lighting inside the store can be tricky. Check very well your dress before buying it! They keep dresses without protection from the sun that comes into the store through their big windows. Sun can damage and change color of fabrics! That’s known.Be aware and stay away from this place. They just want your money and offer great customer service for you to buy from them. But when it comes to apologize and give you a solution, you are on your own. Never again!

Patrica South bridal store is the place if you want to feel so special on your bridal dress shopping day! This was my first time ever trying on dresses and I got so lucky that I got Shirley as my consultant! My mom took me there because it is where she bought her wedding dress! My consultant was Shirley and she was great. I described to her what I wanted and literally every dress she brought it the room was in my price point, perfect for my body, and beautiful! She spent a lot of time with me and made it a great experience. I was also able to meet the owners who are so nice and had some other great recommendations for me for other vendors.

I was probably one of the very few brides out there that did not have a vision of what my wedding dress would look like. Lets just say we went into Patricia Souths and with Deborahs help selecting ~6 dresses for me to try on initially, I found the perfect one and searched no further. With her guidance, I kept an open mind and ended up falling in love with a dress I never would have imagined for myself considering it was almost the exact opposite of what I thought I was looking for. The alterations process was a cinch and everything looked fabulous day-of. They even managed to keep my dress safe/cared for during Hurricane Irma, for which I am extremely grateful.

My son rented a tuxedo for a school event and didn’t ensure that the rental was returned back to the store in a timely manner. This is my reason for visiting the store.Nine times out of ten I examine the customer service and treatment of customers including myself in every establishment I go on. I pay attention to how people treat my family and I because that’s very important to me. Extremely important. Anyhow, I went into the business alone to return the tuxedo and here’s my assessment of my experience.The layout of the business is amazing. It has nice space and well organized. If you are looking for all your bridal needs met this is it. Not to mention the energy is amazing.I was greeted when entering the store and given directions. The next person greeted me and gave directions as well. Same thing happened again with the next person. These were all staff members. I finally reached the tuxedo area and was greeted by a gentleman who was very kind to me. I was not treated poorly because the suit was returned late and I was pleased that it was quite the opposite. I mean the gentleman was very kind and had a caring spirit. His customer service was beyond exceptional. He exceeded my expectations.Very nice people in a nice environment. I had a amazing experience choosing out my wedding dress. Sherly helped me and she was the best, she is so knowledgeable, so helpful, patient and gave me so much ideas that ultimately helped me find my DREAM wedding dress. My experience purchasing my dress was fantastic! Deborah was amazing and helped me find a beautiful dress.The trouble came with alterations. I didnt feel like I was being listened to. I had to go back at least 5x for alterations and on the day of the wedding my dress was too big. The seamstress insisted the dress needed to be let out. I didnt want her to but I went with her recommendation. I lost a few lbs right before the wedding running around for last minute details and the day of it was just too big. I had my last alteration a little less than two weeks before the wedding which was a mistake. My last fitting should have been a little closer to my wedding to make sure it fit right. I would have thought they would have suggested this to me as they are the professionals and I was trusting their suggestions.The dress shop is beautiful. Patricia the owner) is very sweet. Had my dress fit perfectly he day of, I would have had no problem going as much as I did... but it still wasnt right and was too big when I didnt want it let out in the first place. The dress is beautiful, sales staff is wonderful but the alterations could have gone better.I would recommend to proceed with caution when purchasing a dress from this store as alterations really make or break your dress.

I just purchased my gown at Patricia Souths Bridal and had a GREAT time and experience. We started off with a tea party upstairs to discuss absolutely every detail about the wedding, my style, and what Im looking for. My consultant April, who was VERY nice and patient brought out EXACTLY what I was looking for. It was hard to choose cause ALL the gowns were beautiful. There are so many dresses to choose from. PS was the 3rd bridal shop I had been to and Im happy to say I said yes to the dress! We plan on getting tuxedos and a flower girl gown from them as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PS!!

The staff is so helpful and all of the gowns that I tried on, and there were a lot, were beautiful. My alterations, along with the rest of my bridal party alterations, were flawless. I truly dont have words for how amazing my appointment was. From the moment I walked in I was treated like a princess. I brought my mom, my aunt, my sister, and my niece. Lisa, made us coffee and chatted with us about my ideas! She was so enthusiastic and excited. I loved her positive vibe. She let me try on different styles of dresses until I found the dress that filled my eyes with tears and gave everyone goosebumps! Their selection is enormous. This place used to be good a long time ago. It’s sad that now all staff - with no exceptions - care about the money only. Once you choose something and buy from them, if you have any issues, they won’t help you. Huge selection but kind of old designs. They’re all hang out without proper protection. Ladies upstairs taking care of adjustments to dresses and tuxedos can be pretty rude and with zero people skills. Go somewhere else.

My older sister got her dream dress from here. Everyone was so helpful. She went all around Broward county, Dade county, palm beach county, and couldn’t find anything. We purchase Our bridesmaids dresses here and they were out of this world. They were from a company call princess.The guys also got their tuxedos from here. It was just amazing everything was just so perfect. Patricia South bridal is a one stop shop, it helped me so much being the sister of the bride and the maid of honor. Super disappointed in the customer service. I wish I would have listened to these reviews. Everything felt rushed, and impersonal. I had to basically demand to see more than the 5 dresses that were picked out for me by a stranger (2 I didnt even like at all) the last dress turned out to be the one! Unfortunately a bit out of my budget. As I approached Patricia regarding possible deals such as paying cash or anything to keep it within budget, I was met with an arrogant and dismissive response of thats not how we conduct business here thats not the type of attitude Id expect from a store that helps brides find their dream dress. Baffled, I asked for the style name for the dress that I fell in love with, Patricia refused to give me the name! As in, buy it here or not at all! I am disgusted. Seriously dont waste your time. This is supposed to be a joyous and pleasant affair and there are plenty of other stores around that will provide a far, far better experience. Im glad I at least managed discover the real face of this establishment before I got involved with them any further.

Use to always pass this place when I was little and admire the set up, today me and my mom was driving by and she told me to stop there and I was kind of hesitant because I knew it would be expensive but I stop anyways and I was happy I did because I found my dress. Shirley was amazing with helping me and my bridesmaids find their dresses!! She was super patient and understanding with everyone’s opinions. She gave us great advice along the way and made it super easy for all of us!

My daughter was in town to find her wedding dress. She made an appointment. When we walked in, she gave her name, they then asked, ok so whos the bride? Well, I am in my 50s, the other girl was obviously pregnant so that left my daughter, who gave them her name! Then, we gave a budget but I also said that I was paying and if it was more, ok. So we looked for more than 30 minutes and she showed Sherly what she liked. The other girl with us and I kept saying, is she going to pull anything out? There was one, that was beautiful and over her budget. When I asked Sherly to add that one, I got a look like you cant afford that dress. I told her to put it in the dressing room. When my daughter came out in dresses, I made little comments to my daughter. Sherly basically wanted me to sit down and shut up. She was not very pleasant at all. That dress was beautiful and I would have bought it on the spot (it wasnt much over budget) but my daughter wasnt feeling the vibe and wanted out of there. We had just come from another appointment and were treated so great. This was a disappointment. Later, we walked in to a place without an appointment, were treated so nicely, bought the dress, accessories and they went out of their way to take care of us knowing that we were limited on time. BTW, the pregnant (friend) girl with us had bought her wedding dress at Patricias and was shocked at the service we were getting, she was also disappointed, thought that was only fair to add. Still, I would not go back.

Yes it’s super cute, yes there is a wide variety and selection of dresses to choose from but what REALLY made this experience for me was the bridal consultant Deborah. Quite possibly one of the best experiences I have ever had with ANYONE in any type of customer service. Deborah and the other employees are very friendly in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. She was so attentive and helpful, it was the first time (since being engaged in June 2017) that I felt like a bride to be. Not only that, she had a way that made me feel like the ONLY bride to be out there. I highly recommend calling here and making yourself an appointment.

My initial thoughts about this salon was amazing! I ordered my dream dress last minute. They had it ordered and in the the store within 2 weeks. When I went to try on the dress it was even more magical, until I met with the seamstress. Looking at the time frame of the wedding I decided to go with their seamstress, because they repeatedly assured me that they can get it done on time and do it well. Despite other reviews I read via google, I still decided to go with them.During my first fitting with the seamstress, I was trying to communicate with her some of the issues with the dress, but it seemed to get brushed over. The language barrier could have also been a hinderance too.When I went to my second fitting, she was late and did not finish making the alterations on the dress. She showed up right when I was about to take off the dress and their tailor was the one assisting me in my second fitting.Then when I showed up for my third fitting, they brought the dress out with pins still in it, showing that my dress did not even get touched. One week before the wedding and it was untouched since the last terrible visit. They asked me to schedule another appointment and come back in so she could finish the dress. I returned for my third fitting and there was still several alterations to be made.For my fourth fitting, all the areas I repeatedly communicated became resolved, but there was puckering along the bust life of the dress. This time I brought my aunt, who was a seamstress and she told the lady what the issue was and how to resolve it.Finally at the fifth fitting, the dress was complete. Only a few days before the wedding and it fit great, but the bust line was crocked. Needless to say I took the dress and left.I said all of this to say, it is a great salon to find a dress, but BEWARE OF THE SEAMSTRESS!Even looking back at my wedding pictures I see the minor imperfections in the bust line. Mind you they did not give me any form of compensation for any of the distress they put me and my family through, with countless amounts driving and concern.

I just wanted to share my experience finding my dream wedding dress @ Patricia South’s Bridal! I went in thinking that I knew what I wanted, but there were so many beautiful dresses I couldn’t decide. The last dress I tried on was the sales persons choice and it was like heaven opened up above me and the angels sang. It was the one!! Everyone was crying!! My experience from start to finish was amazing. The whole family and bridal party got their dresses and tuxes there as well with no problem. (we were a HOTT looking group) I wish I could do it all over again. I am forever grateful to Patricia South’s Bridal for helping me look beautiful on this huge milestone of my life.

I needed a tuxedo for a father daughter dance and I was fitted by Darryl. I could not have been been happier with the tux or the fit. The price was better than the other surrounding mens stores. I would not hesitate to use Patricia South again. Thank you!!!

Patricia South saved the day! I cant thank the staff enough for helping make me the most beautiful debutante at the cotillion!! The dress was absolutely stunning, and I would highly recommend taking a look at their large selection of formal dresses!

Absolutely perfect experience. We had Veulsie help us. She was so supportive and helped with everything we asked for. She was also very funny and had a great spirit. If you ever need help, shes the one to ask for. She was great. Very nice and pleasant. Great customer service. 5 stars for me. Ill definitely recommend this place and the staff is wonderful. I will come back for my wedding dress when the time is right.

I got married in March 2012 I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from Patricia Souths Bridal it was a great experience! My dress was stunning, it was made with quality fabrics, and affordable. The staff was so accommodating, i had my own consultant who spent time making me happy. Then the tailors made my dress and my bridesmaids dresses fit perfectly. I couldnt have asked for a better outcome. I have been back several times since for other friends weddings because they did such a good job on mine!You wont be disappointed :)

Prices change at the last minute I got my dress loved it my entire family was happy! I FaceTimed my grandma from overseas and she finally came to an agreement with a dress she loved. Covered me up and fit like a glove no alterations needed!! I was quoted 1069 from Mr. Bill then Ms. Patricia changed the price back to original, when on their website all their dresses are clearly on a sale at the moment very disappointed. Would never recommend them.

Just okay because my happy attitude was quickly changed to being on the verge of tears when I met my consultant, Lisa. I felt rushed and insulted with some of the comments she made. She needs to be trained on what tone to use and how she should deliver information. Ugh.One the other hand the bridal gowns are arranged in an organized fashion allowing for easy viewing and its an overall cute and cozy boutique. Patricia the owner is a sweetheart.

Had an amazing experience with Deborah today! The first dress I tried on I LOVED. All of these ladies are awesome and I loved the atmosphere, set up and the beautiful dress selection! This is a home-y beautiful boutique and family owned :) which is my favorite!

Nice store, but they mostly only carry sample sized 4 and 6. I am a size 10-12, and could barely try any of the dresses on. Ultimately, I went to a different store and tried on dozens of beautiful dresses and bought elsewhere. The customer experience was average, and too controlled. Hard to relate to the salespeople. No one in my family enjoyed the experience, unfortunately.

UPDATE: 11/20/17 I finally recieved a call back the day after my dress arrived. The bride received a call with projected delivery date and she called me to inform me. I scheduled and went in the day after the projected delivery date and got it altered. Patricia gave me a good deal on the alterations. She was aware of the situation and tried to correct it the best she could. The dress was absolutely stunning. I have to pick it up this Saturday and am excited to see how it finally fits.Original review11/14/17: My best friend has a wedding a week away, I ordered a dress from Patricia‘s bridal in July with extra length because I am tall. I went a week and a half ago to try on and they ordered the wrong address ( short version ). I have been calling all week to find out when the new dress will come in. All three phone calls that I have made I hear “you’ll get a phone call back with a project date of arrival”. At this moment I have no idea when the dress is coming in. I am a doctor with full-time patients in 2 offices and I will literally lose money in the next two weeks to find a time for alteration time because Patricia could not give me a projected date to clear my schedule. My schedule is 4 to 6 weeks booked out ahead of me. The most unsatisfactory customer service ever. I don’t know why have to wait one whole week for a call back for a projected date for the dress to come in when the wedding is in two weeks. All they tell me is it will be in on time. What a stressful experience not only for me but for me for the poor bride in this wedding who is paid a ton of money to make her wedding perfect. ... I will never recommend these people because even if they don’t make many mistakes often,they certainly do not know how to handle mistake when it is made. A pity

Women department is okay, the men department stay away, I went and start a contract a year in advance, my future husband went to pick the day before the wedding he was told everything will be in the day of the wedding all the suits were so big on everyone it was a hot mess. I dont suggest anyone ever rent or buy from this place on top of that everything was paid in full a whole year in advance. See it for yourself

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Picking out a wedding dress is supposed to be a pleasant, emotional, and joyous experience. Instead, our visit to Patricias seemed rushed, methodical, detached, and insulting. My sister arranged with her bridal party, all of whom have extremely different schedules, to meet at Patricias. She was greeted with five dresses chosen, not by her, but by Patricia, and my sister was not given a chance to look around the store and pick out stuff that she liked. After trying the five dresses, none of which fit my sisters expectations (which is not surprising since a complete stranger picked them out) my sister was told she would have to make another appointment in order to try on additional dresses. Only after insisting that she be allowed to try on other dresses was she handed another dress, again not selected by her, which she happened to love. When asked if Patricias offered any special deals for paying the entire price in cash or discounts, she was insulted by the owner who insinuated that deals and discounts were beneath her. The owner refused to inform my sister of the names of the dresses she did like and continuously made it evident that she did not care about her customers and viewed them as walking and talking checkbooks. If you visit this establishment, prepare to be insulted and disappointed. It takes a lot to ruin such a special moment in someones life, and wow Patricia! You got it down.

I had the best experience shopping for a wedding dress! Sherly went above and beyond to make sure that I had an amazing day. She pulled all of the dress styles that I wanted, offered to take pictures of me and my bridal party, and was so knowledgeable and sweet. The experience exceeded my expectations! The dresses are stunning, and I found my perfect dress. I would highly recommend Sherly and Patricia Souths Bridal.

Pro: They have tons of dresses. Thats it. Cons: they wont clip the dresses so you can actually see what the dress will look like on you. Sales associate Debra is extremely rude and snotty. And keep your receipt. My cousin bought a dress here. They ordered her the wrong size then told her she gained weight. We did get a full refund, 2 months before the wedding.

They say a bridal 12 is a 10.. if you are a 12 and above, well dont bother going here to actually try anything on! The biggest they have is a 12! I left there in tears as this woman said try it, you never know, you can always order in your size ! Stupid me, I did try it and totally lost any self esteem. I felt belittled and discriminated against because I wear a 14-16! Do yourself a favor, if you are a woman with curves, steer clear of this couture establishment!

I can understand the mixed reviews on this place as I had a mixed experience with them. I probably should have just left when I got there & found out they had written down my appointment as a bridesmaid instead of a bride so no consultant was available. Thankfully they freed up April and she talked to me about my likes & budget. She picked out the dresses for me & was very helpful, friendly and patient as I went through at least 10 dresses. She was even willing to give me a few more to try on after I had the moment in a dress just to make sure that really was the dress I wanted. Sure enough it was & while I know everyone always says the bride looks great & the dress is beautiful I really felt people meant it on my wedding day & I felt fantastic in it. The only other negative experience I had with them was I live out of state so I knew theyd ship it to me when I bought it (after trying to convince me to return for alterations because they know the dresses the best). They told me about how long it would take for the dress to come in & when I realized it had passed that time I called to check on my dress. Turns out it had been there for a month & nobody ever contacted me. They thought they had sent an email, but I never got it & a phone call would have been more appropriate. The shipping expense seemed much more than it needed to be, but it was to come signature required & it was my only option since I wasnt returning to FL to get it. When it arrived it was packed in a box that was obviously re-used as it wasnt all that sturdy, there was no signature required & we had some light rain that day. I was furious when I got home & found it on my doorstep in a crappy box in questionable weather. The only thing that prevented me from calling & screaming was that they had at least packed it in a very nice cloth bag, it was undamaged & I just wanted to be done with it. So, long story short I can see why people have good & bad experiences here, but I still think it is definitely worth your time to make an appointment and see what they offer. If April still works there & you can get her I would highly recommend it as shes the only reason theyre getting as many stars as they are from me.

Deb, the woman that took care of me has the worst people skills. Who are you to insinuate that your clients are fat. She was insulting and insensitive. Im not even considered overweight but no Im not a two. I would never give you a penny of my money and I will make sure everybody knows not to go there

I went last minute shopping and I was very stressed but Sherly help me find the perfect dress.

I give them 1 star because the dresses had no fault the customer service in this store sucks. This is your typical store that when you walk in everything is nice and once you sign and pay for your dresses then stabs you in the back. You go to a specialized store and you trust they will take the right measurements and take into consideration other factors, in my case two growing kids and a wedding 6 months away. As most of you know dresses have to be ordered in advance. In the case of my 3 year old the dress came in 2 weeks after it was ordered and in the case of my 8 year old the dress took 4 months to arrive. I ordered my girls dresses 6 months before the wedding and made sure the store knew the wedding was 6 months away. 3 weeks later when I went to get the dress for my 3 year old and tried it on her we realized the dress was too tight, I told them I couldnt take the dress like that because this was a growing child. The owner of the store fought with me and blamed me for ordering the dress on that side, he even had the audacity to tell me I signed to order that size, he was right I did but only after the girl who helped me, measure my kid and told me sign here to order the dress. He wanted to charge me around $65 to exchange sizes on a dress they ordered too small, I even had them measure my kid again in case she had decided to have a supernatural growth spurt and the measures were exactly the same. I was able to change the dress for another one in the store and avoid paying the ridiculously charges. In the case of my 8 year old who has the body of a little girl still with baby fat the measures came up to a size 12 but it was decided to order it in a size 14. The store failed to tell us that the dress was for a Junior Bridesmaid, my daughter is 8 and even though she is tall for her age, she is not tall to pass for a 14 year old girl nor does she have the body of a 14 year old. When the dress came in, the front chest part had padding for a person with a bigger chest, the dress had to be fold in the middle so the upper part and the skirt could be in the right place because my daughter doesnt have a long torso, and the dress was long enough for a person that measures 5.5. No lie my 21 year old cousin, who is very tall and skinny tried the dress and it fitted her perfectly. The wedding is in June 25th and at this point I would have to pay a re-stock fee plus a rush fee to order a new dress to get in the store on time.Again it is not the dresses fault. The people in the store dont know what they are doing, they have a really bad customer service, being the professionals they claim to be and all the knowledge they claim to have nobody guides you, and we went in there trusting these people knew how to handle a growing kid and I firmly believe they should have given us more information and guide us better on the dress for my 8 years old. I guess all they cared about was the sale and not a happy customer.

From the moment I spoke to Sherly on the phone she made me feel at ease. I was looking for my dress a few months before the wedding. I had been to a few stores that were hesitant when I told them the wedding day. They were not very helpful. And many stores did not have larger sizes to try on. But from the moment I made my appointment Sherly made me feel like she would find me my dress with no problem. And sure enough when I walked into my appointment she greeted me with a warm smile and helped me find the dress of my dreams. Sherly was Amazing from the day I bought my dress to the day I made my final alterations. I recommend her and this store to anyone that is looking for a wedding dress . Especially if you want to try on a dress in a size larger than a size 8.

Please, do not go there! My experience was worse than horrible. Lets start by saying that my dress arrived in the wrong size. And the salon blamed me for gaining weight (which I didnt) instead of taking ownership and reordering the dress in the appropriate size. Instead, they preferred to make alterations... This was the worst decision of my entire wedding planning - to allow these unprofessionals to handle the most expensive dress I ever bought. The alterations process was a nightmare of itself. Every time I would go there, the staff was late and, on one occasion, the alterations lady never showed up (I waited for an hour). Moreover, every time I would go there, I would point out the imperfections on the dress and on the following appointments the imperfections were never fixed. On one of those appointments, a Spanish speaking alterations associate made a nasty comment in Spanish which she thought I would not understand. How wrong she was!!! Wait, theres more... After signing a contract that was supposed to charge me $300.00 for ALL the alterations, they brought out a bill to my Mom for $471. If not for me interfering, my poor Mom, that speaks little English, would have paid that ridiculous amount. Last but not least, all the alterations were done so poorly, that my Mom and Grandma had to redo them all over again. My suggestion to you, the reader, is that you avoid this place like the plague. Not worth it.

Vealsie was incredible! She helped me to find a great prom dress with a limited budget and only 2 days left till prom. The store is very elegant and have many great selections!

I will start by saying I never write reviews, but I had to tell others about Patricias store policy that you are required to pay $25 to TRY ON a bridesmaids dress. Thats right, $25 to try it on. Not a deposit to order the dress, or even a fee to be measured for a bridesmaids dress. Not only is this policy absolutely absurd, but the salesperson failed to mention this to my Maid of Honor when she called prior to driving to the store. And to make matters even worse, my Maid of Honor was also told to hurry and get here in an hour in order to try the dress on, but made no mention of the fee until she was in the store with a bridesmaids dress in hand.For a store that advertises as the Friendliest Shop, they need to seriously reassess that description...

Several of us went to Patricia Souths excited to help my future daughter-in-law find the perfect dress for her wedding. She filled out a questionnaire about her preferences, budget, and waited for a consultant. Deborah sat wth us for 2 mnutes, asked some canned questions and asked for the budget price ,out loud (eventhough it was written on the paper in her hand- The question was obviously meant to embarrass me and her in front of everybody, because she thought $1000 was too low a budget price). So, with a condecending smurk, Deborah said I dont think were going to find much for that. I realize now that I shouldve walked away right then, but not wanting to ruin the day for my daughter-in-law I went along with the ladys attitude. Now, I thousand dollars might not be a huge budget for a wedding dress but this lady has no idea what it takes for me to spend that kind of money on a dress. She proceeds to find a few dresses and takes her in the dressing room to try them on. My daughter-in-law tells me while she was in the dressing room Deborah was telling her that I was trying to keep her from getting the dress she wanted and that she shouldnt listen to me. Obviously, my daughter-in-law brought me and her friends to help her decide. She doesnt need to put me down every time she Takes her in the dressing room. Deborah picked out dresses way above the budget price and tried to convince her that she shouldnt care what I said about the price. When she tried on a dress almost double the price of the budget she said now, thats a real wedding dress. I understand this Deborah lady has been in the shop for nine years (because she mentioned it nine times), but she completely ruined an event that shouldve been a happy fun event for a bride (and her very generous mother-in-law to be). The dresses were old fashioned and gaudy. The service was demeaning and unfriendly. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone looking to have a good experience and to get a good value for a beautiful wedding dress.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! TERRIBLE customer service. I am in the customer service industry and if I ran my business the way they did I would have ZERO customers.I called ahead to tell them my price range (under 1500) and they said it would not be a problem so we set up an appointment...then the first thing I was asked when I sat down was what my budget was. When I told her she immediately pursed her lips and said I dont think we will have anything here for you in that range. I told her about my phone call to the store and asked her to see what she could find.We proceeded to try on a few beautiful dresses and then when we were in the room with just the two of us she asked when my wedding was. I told her it was in six months and she responded saying well you sure waited till the last minute didnt you? Typically I would tel a bride in this situation to get something off the rack but they dont make dresses on the rack in your size.....yep you read that right.This was my very first bridal store and I almost left there in tears! If you are looking for a true bridal salon experience with people who actually care about you finding the perfect dress, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!I went to bellisima bride after this and the experience was NIGT AND DAY! They were FABULOUS, pulled out SO many dresses, I found the PERFECT dress AND it was within my budget!The woman I worked with specifically was Deborah. She should go back to being an interior designer because she has zero bedside manor and does not care AT ALL about you feeling like a princess on YOUR day!Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SHOP AT PATRICIA SOUTH!!!
