Ive been storing my truck on and off here for the last 4 years. Gone up to 6 months at a time. Inside some and outside other times. The whole staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Never had an issue and they start my truck and move it around a little so its not sitting for 6 months, also arranging for it to be washed once a month and sending pics. And dropping me at the airport when I leave my truck.Try to find that service with any other company. Reading most of the bad reviews are a laugh. If they are out of the shop its for work dropping something/ someone off or picking something up and its never for long. Have a little patience!! Any experienced yachty would not get super upset that they spent 35.00 and their scooter wasnt perfect. Have a feeling most bad reviews come from jr. deckhands and jr. stews that just left their parents house on a far plane ride, ended up in FLL dayworking and have 500 dollars to their name. Thanks for the great service over the years, most people appreciate you guys!!

I was very disappointed with Yachty Rentals on my vacation to Fort Lauderdale last week. My boyfriend has contacted them about a scooter a few days prior to our arrival (Wednesday during business hours). He inquired about renting a scooter for half a day on a Saturday starting late-morning.They told him that a scooter would be available to rent and for us to head over after we landed at the airport to get it, since our flight landed on 10:15 am on a Saturday, which was during Yachty rentals open hours. We paid for a $20 cab ride to get over there just before 11 am. The sign on the building door listed their phone numbers and hours, indicating that it should be open. We went to open the main door-locked. We knocked several times-no answer. We even called both numbers several times and heard it ring through the door. We decided to hang out for a bit longer to see if someone was just running late, but by 11:15 am we still had no luck. We did leave a voicemail but no one called us back that day. The following day my boyfriend received an email asking if we were still interested in a scooter, even though the date did not match the original date he sent them for the day prior. I get that things can happen and people wont show up, but no one called or explained what had happened to us, and we ended up having to pay for another cab to take us somewhere else.

DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR $$$Turned down business due to laziness.A girl named “Riley” that has never worked here before because owners were away in NC basically gave us the run around.Seems like she was just dragged to be there in case anyone needed to rent a scooter, even though she had no idea how anything really worked.We called at 11:38am asking if any scooters were available to rent and she said yes. So we asked if we would have it for a full 24 hours or just the rest of the day. She asked someone then came back and said we could have the scooter for a full 24hrs and return the next day. She also said she would be there until 2pm12:30 rolls around we call back before heading over (15 minute Uber ride) and to make sure Scooter was for two people to ride. She says yes and asked us to confirm if we were going to rent because they were going to close at 1pm now.12:45pm currently in Uber on our way there she calls us and says owners are only renting to those who have rented with them before ....Not bashing “Riley” as it was out of her control but owners should be more direct and responsible enough to have people working there and covering shifts that have if ANY knowledge on how to run their business.From the reviews YIKES not a good look should’ve check them out before heading here. If you are considering this place GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Such an amazing service and team running this place. I went in needing a rental car to go to a visa/ passport interview in Miami and I was given the most incredible help by the team that I wasn’t even expecting. They helped me find the right people to contact, which documents I needed (and printed) and even got me an appointment booked at the embassy. They have serviced from rental vehicles to storage to visa assistance. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!!

When Im traveling for work, I store my vehicle at Yachty Rentals. The owners and staff have provided nothing but first class customer service (drop off and pick up from airport whenever they are available, maintain spare set of keys for emergency, periodically start engine and move vehicle, pump up tires if needed, etc). They have always been up front and honest. I anticipate having a long standing business relationship with them.

Great experience. Ray and his team took care of my car for 3 months while I was away. They washed my car before I came and even fixed my bumper. I will use them in the future for any of my car storage needs! Thanks!

Was given the wrong address the first night, almost caused a problem but was resolved the next day. Gave me another week stay and a coffee card for my troubles. AC was out and they fixed it promptly. Long and short: they’re quick to fix mistakes and issues with class.I updated with five stars because these guys sincerely just want to help the yachting community out here. And they’re friendly.I wish the best for these guys!

Rented two scooters from these guys.Very reasonably priced ($40 for 28hrs).Highly recommend.The scooters move pretty quick (50m.p.h.)The people are nice.Next time I am in the area I will rent from them again.

I used Yachty Rentals for car storage for 4 months. When I returned my car had a huge dent on the passenger side door, the fuel tank was on E and I specifically remember leaving it full, also the seats, mirrors and radio were all changed as if someone had been driving my vehicle and actually wrecked it.I tried to deal with this all through Ray the owner in a professional simple matter by asking him to just pay for my insurance deductible and then that would be it. But he refused to pay the deductible and offered me $200.00 instead. The cost of the body work alone is going to be $3-$5K because I have the car wrapped in vinyl, so it all has to be removed first before any body work can be done.At this point I am pursuing a lawsuit with Yachty Rentals and will post the outcome of this issue.

NEVER TAKE YOUR SCOOTER TO YACHTY RENTALS!My scooter wouldnt start so I brought my scooter there because they said they were familiar with a QLink Pegasus and its only a mile or two from where I live. After almost 2 weeks they called and said that they could not fix it. So, I went over there and they returned my scooter all taken apart! And, they charged me $80.00 for looking at it! Not only did I have to take it elsewhere for repair but the new repair place told me that many important parts were missing! When they told me what was missing, I went to Yachty Rentals and gave them the list of missing parts. They flatly refused to admit that they had lost parts of my scooter. Do they think Im out of my mind? Later I remembered that the mechanic said he was familiar with Q Links because HE HAD ONE HIMSELF! Now it made sense! Not even an apology. I had to purchase new parts in addition to the original repair. The problem was simple; the Q Link has an automatic kill switch attached to the kickstand so somehow that switch was malfunctioning. I recommend never taking a scooter there.

When you rent a scooter you expect two things. 1) that it’s safe to drive 2) that it’s registered properlyIn our case this rental didn’t live up to any of those expectations.We got 2 tickets for the tag being over a half year expired and right handle (the speed) was loose so we felt unsafe driving it.They charged $40 to our card after. We called to ask about it and the manager was screaming at us in the phone not listening to us. We felt so disrespected. I would not recommend this company.

Reservation process was great using website. Went to pick up at 9 am as reserved and no one there. Was told to call the number on scooter in store window. Called several times and finally got an answer. Reservation must not have come through I made reservations a week in advance to avoid this. Was told they were in the middle of a lesson and would call me when they get to the shop (which is fine by me, the nice lady on the phone promised me some extra time with the scooter). My 9am reservation wouldnt be picked up until 11-1130am.When I called to confirm my reservation a few days prior it was in the system. I asked a bit about their scooters and was told they have a large selection from which I could choose.During the paperwork the extra time was never mentioned. We were just kind of chastised for not being as enthusiastic as he felt we should have been. (Which honestly, after waiting 2+ hours for your scooter, thus throwing off our entire schedule for that day, who would come in overly excited?) When picking up I got a scooter where speedo didnt work. Turned right around to tell the man and was told it was the only 149cc they had and Id just have to deal with it. Huh? Seriously? Just Deal with it? Nothing like, oh sorry, we are out of 149cc, nothing in any form of apology. I could have dealt with no speedo, thats not even my main concern. But the lack of customer service and out right rudeness from the guy working there put a hell of a bitter Taste in my mouth.I work for a local hotel where Im asked countless times a day for recommendations of some fun things to do in the area. Guess what will NOT be mentioned.In my book customer service is number 1. I understand mechanical issues and even the mishap with the reservation but there is no excuse for poor customer service.

Yachty rentals has horrible customer service. Our scooter was old, wouldnt stay running, had a flat tire, and broke down. I tried calling the owner 4 times over several days and no response. I would not recommend this company

Excellent experience!! I rented a 150cc scooter for a 7 days for christmas break, Yachty rentals was the cheapest rental place I found! Closest one to the fort lauderdale airport as well. Along with the cheapest prices they also picked me up and dropped me off at the airport! First Class service. i will be using them again!!

This place in NOT fair or honest! Bring your scooter here if you want to get bullied into paying more! This place is unethical and I will no longer recommend this place to my colleagues this year for the boat show. I will continue to campaign against this place till I see fit.
