My car mechanic recommended that I go to Arctic Air Auto Center regarding problems with my air conditioner. I received Excellent customer services. The staff was very courteous, professional and very informative.

George was very nice. The place fix nothing dented the vehicles Hood will there for 24 hours denied that it was them. Didnt hook a wire back up so I had defrost and error of some kind blowing until I got it back nothing worked again they said it was nothing they did. Nice guys useless place

Got me in on short notice. Found the leak. Repaired the AC and charged it. AC works great now. Very friendly employees and knowledgeable. Took very good care of my vehicle while doing repairs. They do tell you that there will be a charge to diagnose but they apply half of the charge to the repairs if they do the work. Highly recommend!

Had to leave one star in order to leave a review, would have given none. Went on 1/6/21 and they charged me 96 dollars and took 2 hours to tell me I had to change my ac condenser and a valve for 600.00. took my car to a couple different places and they charged no where near $96 to check and give estimate. Goodyear on Orange Road were fast honest and cheap. It was low on freon and they found a slow leak...total $47.00!!!!!

Car was burning through a/c clutch fuses. Eventually the compressor would no longer turn over. These guys identified the problem and fixed it without trying to pressure me to replace the entire fuse box. Saved a few hundred dollars easily over going to a place like Midas.

I love it also with the well experience mechanics.

Took my 2015 Ford Mustang GT here for ac compressor problems. They figured out the problem pretty fast got my car back within 24hours . Great place good prices

Charged me 900 for a 2006 Mazda. They said it was an easy fix and they know how to work on the rotary engines. Said they patched up the Apex seals. They scammed and lied to me. Right out of the shop my car stopped in the middle of the highway. Dishonest and a shame to all the good mechanic shops

They did a good job on my new radiator and stayed on the estimate. However when they found the fan clutch needed replacing their price was too high considering the radiator work would have made that job easier.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THIS PLACE!!!!Worst service ever! Took my van to have the rooftop unit service and they broke a piece, the vents doesn’t open, the control unit was put bending the ceiling, the unit was dirty, but they had enough time to sniff insight the cabinets and spread some of the content! I Called them and took it back immediately. When they “finished” George said they fixed it the best they could. Surprise, silly me didn’t check everything again before leaving. Nothing was fixed, and when I called again to complain, George said “he forgot to tell me” the vents still don’t open, and the ceiling still bent. Do not waste your money and time in this place!

Terrible! Don’t tell you the whole price up front. They say 96 dollar for diagnostic and charge fee for tools for looking at the car. “ GAS” which don’t make no sense. I paid 111.23 leaving there. Staff for front desk is okay. Never going back. They don’t tell you anything beforehand. Overpriced for no reason.

Ive been taking my cars there for over 30 years. When they replace parts. Ive noticed that I get top-notch factory parts or Delco or some other top brand name. They dont replace the bad parts with cheap parts. They are simply the best, and they take the time to listen and talk to you

Arctic is a hidden gem. They are close to my condo so I can drop off my car and walk home. My wife also uses them for work on his Jeep. Everyone there is genuinely interested in taking care of our cars.

This place was great. Needed fitting for my 73 F-100. Juan was courteous, helpful, and prices were fair. Took care of me right away. These guys are fully stocked when it comes to a/c parts.

Arctic Auto Center repaired my vehicle last year but because a car is a car or a truck is a truck, things break. The service was so great last year, I came back and, of course, was not disappointed. No one likes to spend money but when you receive the service like you get from Arctic Auto Center, the price is worth it and fair. This is the only place Ill go for A/C work.

Pay them 300.00 to fix my a.c. 3wks later nothing but hot air and they didnt back up there warranty they was asking for an additional 400.00 see them in court. Never dealing with them again and I dont recommend them to nobody. They dont even deserve 1 star.

I had my daughter bring her car to Arctic Auto for an air conditioning issue. They contacted me the following day stating the only problem is a very minor issue with the AC fittings and gave me a very reasonable price. They are the most honest company i have ever done business with. This is the third time i have needed them for repairs and every time they surprise me with quality repairs at the right price. I hate to say this but i am an ASE Certified Mechanic and have AC Certification as well but not the time to get done what i need to at times and to have a company like this around to back me up makes me very happy. I think I found my favorite new shop. In Florida there are so many places to go just within 5 miles of my home. Its always worrisome when you experience car trouble. There is always someone out there waiting to take advantage of people like me that dont know much about cars. I looked through the shops for my warranty and the first place I went to just looked so sketchy and when I decided to look up a new place a pushy old gentleman came out rudely saying I made him wait and that I need to come talk to him. I was like get me out of here. So i looked up this place next and found out it was also in my AAA network. As soon as I walked in I felt a good vibe and as I spoke to the staff I knew this was the right place. Richele was a super host her customer service is top notch and shes supremely customer service oriented and her mechanical expertise is beyond incredible, she knows her stuff. Melanie and I went through all the motions they contacted my insurance and then I waited for the diagnostic. These ladies are so good at what they do. They got me lunch because I decided to wait from a great local spot (Green wave Cafe) and I found out they have shuttle service to take you home and pick you up!! The prices are fair. The staff is super cool. And I know my car was genuinely being taken care of while I waited. Very upfront and honest. They have a large bay to work on the cars. I really like this place. In the future if I have any issues I am coming back here. I would totally recommend this shop.

They will charge you $96 to diagnose your vehicle, find the problem, fix it and the air will go out in a few days. I was charge $450 to have my issue fixed in my vehicle, only to find out they were only recharging the freon. Attempted to get the issue fully fixed, and they refused and also refuses to refund money. There were at least two other customers there with the same issue as me. They will scam you out of your money. Please take this serious and be careful.

After blowing out a tire on the Turnpike the tow truck brought me to Artic Auto Center where they were able to give me multiple options on tires and ordered what I wanted and changed it in just about an hour. This is after I was expecting to wait for much longer. During my wait I was given the WiFi so i could continue to work and as my cell phone was dying they provided me with the cable to charge my phone. I highly recommend Artic Auto for all your auto needs.

I dont usually take the time to write a review but thought this one was warranted. My wife dropped off the car to replace the brake booster. I usually do the work on this car myself, but decided to bring it in due to lack of time. The issue was obvious and did not need diagnosing - but they insisted on charging a fee of $63 for this. They said they would apply the fee to the repair anyway. They could not find a new or re-manufactured booster so they had to order a used one (from eBay I suppose) for $190 + $200-ish labor, AND it would take a week to get it so they wanted me to pick up the car and bring it back when they got the part. I said I would find and order the part myself then bring it back since I quickly found a re-manufactured one for $150 (used on ebay was $40-60). When I picked up the car they charged $113 and said that a more advanced diagnostic was needed (REALLY? - diagnoses is EASY - when boosters go bad the brake pedal is harder than normal AND they make an obvious hiss when you press on the brake pedal and the master cylinder was not leaking so whatever...). I took the car home and Rob called back on a Wednesday after my wife complained , He said he would discount the repair and I asked him how much it would be with my own part which I already received. He needed to investigate the repair and said he would call me back, He called me back 2-3 days later and said $200+, I told him I already replaced it - in less time than it took to drop off and pick up the car since it was actually a simple part to replace.btw, Artic used to be operated by another owner who was awesome - when I asked where he was I was told he was not there anymore.

Oh where do I start. I got an AC system installed in my 93 mustang invested $1,000 of my hard earned money in my car with Artic. After a week later the AC stopped pumping cold air so I took it back to them and they fixed it. Another week later it was leaking again so I took it back and they finally fixed it right after the second time of causing a complete inconvenience. So when I picked the car up the second time I was just getting on the highway on 95 and my hood flew up and caused over 2,000+ in damages because they neglected closing the hood correctly. By that happening my life was put into danger and could of resulted in a fatal if not tragic accident. Their insurance is now reimbursing my insurance for just the total loss I took on my vehicle without actually accommodating the cost of repairs to fix my car based on artics negligence. I will take a course of action if I dont get my repairs paid for by their insurance. Its a scam with these insurance agencys. Youre telling me that their insurance is saving my insurances ass and basically cutting my throat for it. Because now I have to pay out of my pocket for this! Its all a scam. This is absurd and not how you conduct business nor how you treat people in serious situations like this.

I dont ever write a review but this time they earned it. If I could rate less than one star I would. I dropped off my car for an A/C problem. I dont have a lot of free time to find the right place for any car issues. I google a place for this type of repair and just went there without checking any reviews. First thing I notice is that on the screen inside the shop it said $48 for the A/C diagnose when its actually $96. When we asked about the price they told us that the $48 didnt include something that I didnt really understand. (SO WHAT DOES THE $96 INCLUDES????) I left the car there anyway. When they were done with the diagnosis I received a call at around 4:30 PM where they told me that the total cost was $251. I agreed and told them to go ahead and do the work. They told me it will be ready in an hour. Then at 5:00 PM I started receiving phone calls rushing me to come and pick up my car that it was ready. I was enjoying lunch with my family at a nearby restaurant. I received several calls. When I called back to speed things up and make a payment over the phone I was surprised, the price went up to $301.20 without an explanation. I asked why and I was told thats the price. I only had $300 available on my credit card so when I asked for a frendly discount they were kind enough to give me a $1.20 discount. Thank you so much. I was asked again how far I was from picking up my car. This was at around 5:10 PM. On the internet it states that the store closes at 5:30 PM. I had to leave my family in the restaurant and rush to pick up my car. Horrible experience. When I got there I was asked to sign the papers and the guy gave me my key. I asked what was the problem with the AC, he roughfly answerd everythings on the paper and left. Here is the invoice number for you to look me up when you copy and paste the same BS answer youd been giving to everyone who writes a bad review. 49248. Its been about 1.5 hours since I picked up the car and the AC is still working, hopefully it was fixed right but after reading some of the other reviews I dont trust them.Totally not recommend them.

They wanted to charge me $300 for a common $80 part(Ive priced it brand new from multiple sources ranging from 80-100$), and $291 for 10 minutes of work (the part (ccrm) is literally accessible from the hood--i opened it up and got it out myself in less than 4 minutes and Im not a mechanic--you do the math).He conveniently only takes cash in the summer (credit card machine is magically broken). I wonder what his books look like?So, they essentially wanted to charge me $691 for 5 minutes of work and maybe 10 minutes of diagnostic (which they charged me 101$ for).I was told Richard is a fair and honest man. So, I spoke to Richard eye to eye (sort of) and he lied right to my face and then shook my hand afterwords. I played dumb and suggested that Im really strapped for cash and was hoping that this problem would only be a simple electrical issue. Richard agreed that it was electric (ccrm) but that the part is rare and he only has 1--so I better get it now before its too late. As I said before, you can get this ccrm at literally any auto part store/junk yard/internet sale without even having to shop around. The part is utterly common.I would have been willing to be over charged a few hundred $, but what this little guy wanted to do was simply grotesque.I will never return. I suggest you do the same. 8 years ago this place was the considered the best. I fear those days have long passed.

Not very honest. They quoted me a price of $129 to evacuate and recharge my AC. When they were done they charged me $194 and told me that I needed a compressor.
