I came into Computer Doctors with my Microsoft Surface. It had stopped working after my latest Microsoft update. I first took it to the Geek Squad in Best Buy and they wanted to charge me $200 just to run a test. Computer Doctors were quick to find a solution and within 30 minutes they had it working good as new! They were knowledgeable, great Customer service and had an urgency to fix it for me, they ended up not charging me. They are a local business who shows they genuinely care. I highly recommend Computer Doctors, I will be going to them again.

I am sad to leave a bad review for a small business, but in this case it is necessary. I left my computer and had concerns about damage to it when I picked it up. The person handling the pick up seemed annoyed that I would bring that up, and he was convinced it was not possible that someone dropped it. That made no sense to me. I asked for the owner to call me so we could have a conversation, and now 20 days later I have not received a call. Needless to say I will not be going back.***UPDATE: I had to go back because when they removed the malware they also removed my office products. The person at the front tried to charge me to fix this issue they caused and eventually told me I just needed to call Microsoft and resolve it myself. Its crazy how much time Ive spent (2 additional trips back to their store plus the time dealing with Microsoft customer service) and still dont have the issue resolved. I think I may have to end up buying the software again.

Everyone is very nice, remembers their customers, and very knowledgeable! As a first time pc builder they have been extremely helpful!

So yesterday evening I was switching an air cooler to a new liquid cooler and some thermal paste had contacted the bottom portion of my CPU, just a minor amount. I couldnt see it I have glasses so I took it over here and I expected to get a new motherboard or something along those lines but they took a look at it cleaned it off put it back together and they werent going to charge me anything so I just tipped him 20 bucks because I mean what awesome service how great can you be. I will be back to buy some of there awesome selection.

My experiences with these people have always been excellent. Honest and expert advice with fast and affordable service. This week, they replaced the case screws on my Macbook Pro without a charge and are looking into upgrading my Windows 10 tower. They have also helped a friend keep her Windows laptop running well for several years. Glad to see them open again at their new location on South LeMay in mid-town - a clean and tidy facility with a good selection of new and used computers, accessories and supplies for sale.

I needed an unusual cable and not only did they have it, they were very generous and gave it to me for free. Great service.

When my laptop shut off suddenly and wouldnt turn back on I was devistated. After doing some research and reading other reviews I finally decided to give these guys a call. I explained the circumstances of my laptop dying and they were very honest about what might have happened and the likelyhood if bringing it back, but that they would still run a diagnostics. I am very happy to report that they were able to fix my laptop and my fears of losing everything i hadnt backed up. You can trust these guys with your gear and theyll do whatever they can to help. If you are sick, you take yourself to the doctors. When your computer is sick (or in a coma) you take it to Computer Doctors.

Excellent service. Needed an invoice for an insurance claim on my computer, and most major retailers refused to help me because of corporate policy. These guys however were not only willing and able to do so, but helped me in such a fast manner that I was in and out if there in 15 minutes or so. Not only did they help me, but they also knew what they were talking about, specifically Ben, who was the man who helped me. He knew the parts I needed and was immediately able to throw a invoice together. Id you need some work done on your computer these guys are who you should go to.

Went to Computer Doctors in Fort Collins because my computer (MacBook Pro) couldn’t find the start up disk (a fun jumping file with a question mark started this adventure). After a couple hours trying to fix the problem on my own (to no avail) I went to Ben at Computer Doctors and he fixed it right then and there (they happened to have the needed part in stock). He was super helpful and informative, but not pushy. They ask for reasonable prices (I did the online research before going) and very attentive. 10/10 guys! I took my laptop in with both hardware and software problems, there was a problem both with wireless drivers and with internal cables. I needed a quick laptop repair for liquid damage after a flight attendant accidentally poured water onto the keyboard and power button of my laptop. The flight attendant also dislodged a key from the keyboard while energetically shaking the laptop upside down to try to get the water to pour back out. Computer Doctors was able to replace the keyboard and repair other liquid damage within 24 hours to get me up and running again. Electronic receipts were also provided to submit to the airline. Great service, much appreciated!

Ive spent hours in APPLE stores and not received as much info as these guys provided in very short order. Today they were lifesavers. I was under deadline and needed help right away. These guys were great ! I am from out of town and my laptop literally started losing hardware (screws) from the monitor. They fell out and I was only able to find 3 of the 5. Tim was great to work with. He was referred by a friend when I couldn’t get dual monitors to work in the office. He set me up with 2 new monitors, a new video card and the correct cables to get my system working. This place is the best around! After taking my laptop to a different repair shop multiple times and having continuing problems with my computer I decided to try someone different. I took it to computer doctors and within a couple hours they called me and said my computer was ready. I went to pick it up and not only was my laptop finally working correctly but they didnt even charge me because it was just a loose connection. Wonderful customer service and honesty.

The real deal. Went in two separate times for a dropped laptop. Completely transparent in the diagnoses and got it checked out fast. Even though it was beyond repair the second time they STILL offered tips to keep the computer running for awhile. Give them your business.

I have been buying refurbished Dell computers from CD for the last 9 years. The machines they sell are an excellent value - I travel extensively for work and treat my laptops roughly, about every 2 years I need to replace them and often with a very short turn around time. CD has always migrated all my data from the old machine to the new one and everything *always* works. AND the staff are smart, friendly, and eager to help. I now live in Gunnison, and I still plan to come back to CD for all my laptop needs. They take care of the tech, so my focus gets to be on running my company.

Their specialty might be building gaming computers or something else, but it is not data recovery. Also, their old storefront, on College, still has a sign, and that old address is still shown on their web pages.They advertise data recovery, but it is a complete waste of time and money to bother with them. I had to call a week after our agreed due date, yet they still charged a flat diagnostic fee. There is another Ft. Collins business which performs prompt, successful data recoveries.

Tom could see by the look on my face I was stressed. I had no idea what damage I had done, but I broke something.... A simple $5 part was all I needed he said, and he was right... then he insisted that he help me load my drivers, and made sure it was running properly before I left the store! You rarely find that kind of service with a $5 sale. 5 stars to you for such great care!

I did not purchase my older Mac Air at Computer Doctors but took it there for added disc space. The service was great and even though the actual cost turned out to be greater than what they quoted me, they only charged the estimated price. Today I took my computer in for some help with a couple of problems and charged me nothing! They said that was because it was fairly quick. Also important to me is the fact that everyone Ive dealt with has been exceptionally patient and courteous as well as being knowledgeable and helpful. I had bought computers from another local computer store. One day they did not have what wanted and would not have it ready for a week at least. That was when came upon Tim at Computer Doctors. Since then due to my business I have purchased a few desk tops and most recently laptops.Tim indicated that laptops use much less electricity and was the reason started buying refurbished laptops from him. Would not even consider going to any other computer store and have suggested Computer Doctors to several friends as well without any hesitation when asked discussing computer stores. Know there are only five stars allowed but they deserve more than five.

Brought in my sons desktop computer, which was obviously infected with malware and viruses. As soon as I mentioned it was my young teen sons computer, the employee asked if he played Minecraft (yes). The repair was quick, the price very reasonable, and I was giving several helpful suggestions on how to deal with preventing this in the future. Will definitely return for any future needs.

Brought in laptop for repair and 3 visits later it is still not working properly. Initially had virus that had to be removed and was told my hard drive was at risk because of how I transport it in my backpack (only a 1 year old laptop). Decided to trust the analysis and paid for hard drive repair and 1 day after getting my laptop back it totally died on me. Took it back in - had to replace the hard drive this time - more time without my laptop I need for school.Got it back and still buggy. Java wont work. Programs not transferred that should have been. Back to the repair place, more time wasted. Guys in the shop need to take more initiative and consider their customer - and do it right the first time by making sure things from old hard drive that could be transferred over were transferred. Dont have time to do these repeated visits and be without my school laptop without risking my grades.

When my Wifi wasnt working, I initially brought it to Best Buy who gave me repair estimate that cost more than an the actual laptop.... so then I brought it to the Computer Doctors. They found the glitch hidden somewhere in the system files and were able to quickly fix it in two seconds, and they did it free of charge! If you live in Noco, do not go to the Geek Squad for anything, and go to Computer Doctors instead.

Ive taken a couple laptops in for service. They have done great work at reasonable rates. They dont try to push me to something I dont need and seem to always give an honest assessment.

This is an amazing store! I have been going to them for all my technology problems and questions for years, and they always make sure to go the extra mile to help you. When I was having trouble connecting to the internet on a computer I just had them fix, the owner took his free time to help me out and make sure that it was working. They absolutely go above and beyond, and never try to sell you anything. I hate feeling like Im being pressured into buying something, and they really help you find what you need, and get what you want, instead of trying to upgrade you to the newest most expensive machine. Their 6 month warranty policy is rock solid, and they are fabulous about standing behind their machines, and fixing them if something goes wrong. Computer Doctors charged me $100 to fix my computer, without fixing my computer. I had the dreaded blue-screen problem on my PC, so I brought it to Computer Doctors. The store installed a graphics card. When I took the computer home and booted it up, I had the same blue-screen problem. I took the computer back in and the salesman at the store said that I should check my outlets with a voltage meter. He acknowledged that the store did not fix the problem, but added that it would cost more to actually fix the computer. This was like getting a car fixed at the mechanic and then having it not start after you pay the mechanic. I will never return to Computer Doctors for service, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

They fixed our Mac that we spilled a mason jar full of hot tea on, and we have bought two computers from them (one used and one that they built). Every interaction we have had has been excellent.
