Good stylists are hard to come by, and after going through multiple ones here in Fort Collins, I found someone that has been stellar and professional at this Sports Clips. I want to commend Katie for a job well done, attention to detail, and just having a fantastic eye to know what a good haircut looks like. I would highly recommend her as a stylist for anyone that is still looking for a go to.

This location was great. All the stylists did a really good job and were friendly. Will be returning for my next haircut for me and my son.

Me writing this review is long overdue and very much needed, for my favorite stylist Taylor. I have had the pleasure of being her client three times with each visit out doing the last. She is great. Taylor always attends to your needs and can also provide options and recommendations for people who can’t quite explain what they are looking for in a haircut (just like me). I could go all day talking about how amazing she is but unfortunately I have a safety meeting to attend to...Gotta run!

Had a wonderful experience with Stephanie this morning. I had been growing my hair out for a few years and the time had come to get it chopped. I showed Stephanie a photo of how Id like to have my hair look and she nailed it out of the park! She was kind, professional, and pristine in her craft. Will definitely be back soon.

Stephanie is the best! Shes always happy to see me and remembers every detail of our conversation from the last time I was in, which is usually a month in between. I know that when I go in to see Stephanie Im getting a great haircut with great service and shes always so wonderful to talk with. Shes the reason I keep coming back! Stephanie is the absolute best, she is efficient while still being thorough and precise. She has been my stylist for over a year and she always has suggestions and recommends different styles and products to try but most importantly she listens to what I want and makes it happen. Great staff and their online wait list is great. I always have a comfortable time and a pleasant chat. Ive been coming here regularly for a year now.

I checked my 8 year old online and arrived a few minutes before our “arrival time.” I’m told by Stephanie that it’s going to be 20-30 minutes. When I questioned it, she said the wait time is based after the arrival time (that doesn’t make any sense.) Ok, so we head to the library to kill some time. When we return we wait a few minutes; I’m bringing my son in to get his hair trimmed. He wants to keep it long which is great but it’s scraggly. The lady has the note from last visit. “Do what we did last time?” I tell her to forget the notes he wants it long just trim it up so it looks nice; didn’t listen but you know it’s too late so I don’t say anything. When it’s over she asks me how I like it, I tell her it’s okay but it’s not what we talked about. She says I followed the note, I tell her that’s where she went wrong because I told her to NOT follow the note. She starts making a scene, I tell her that I’ll get over it, it’s hair, it’ll grow back and she keeps pushing me and asking me what to put on his file for next time. I say it’s not about the notes it’s about listening to the client on the day of service. She kept being so unprofessional and tell her I just want to pay so we can leave; ugh it was awful.

Taylor is incredibly rude. Unprofessional when speaking to people in person and also on the phone. Pretty bad for a manager. Stephanie on the other hand is the best stylist and so incredibly friendly. She is top notch!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terrible experience at this store. I checked in at 2:50 pm and was told the wait time was 1 hour and 40 minutes. When I arrived back at 4:30 pm, I was informed my name had dropped off the list because I took too long. As I was explaining that I came back exactly when they told me, they seated two more people in front of me and told me it would be another 15 - 20 minute wait. I received no apology just attitude. I requested to speak with the manager and was told that I was speaking to her. I then requested the contact information for the owner and explained I would no longer be using the establishment. She then said good and told me to leave. As I was leaving, she said something under her breath. When I said excuse me, she sarcastically said have a good day and told me to leave again. My family has been using this SportsClips for over two years. After being treated this way, I took my business around the corner to Great Clips where the customer service was excellent, the stylist was kind and professional, and they actually seemed to care about my business. Maybe they should reconsider offering the MVP and just be kind to people. It goes a long way.

Got exactly the cut my son asked for! He loved the MVP treatment too, which was on the house since it was our first visit. Definitely recommend!

This is a great place to go if you want your stylist to completely ignore what you ask for. Even better if you like when your stylist ignores your concerns and decides to start cutting in a way that cant be fixed. Ive previously had some really good haircuts here but after this recent one I guess Ill find somewhere else once Ive grown enough hair back that they can fix it.

I have taken my boys to this Sports Clips for years. My son got a haircut from stylist Staci which included his usual hard part sculpting. Staci shaved a bald patch near his forehead. I asked her what happened and she told me that his hair was blond, so that is why it looked that way. My son has has this style numerous times and the bald spot was because she messed up, but she wouldn’t admit it. She also did a poor job of blending the sides. She didn’t seem interested in helping correct the problem (And honestly I did not want her touching his hair again) so we left and got his hair cleaned up at another salon. It now looks better and will eventually grow out, but we won’t be returning here again.

I’ve been going to this location for 5 plus years. Most every stylist that I’ve seen has given me the haircut I ask for, but left a little on the table on the MVP side. Then a few years back I got Taylor. She was maybe the first ever to figure out how to match a normal haircut to my odd shaped coconut perfectly and the MVP... finally someone that would apply some pressure and make it feel like the MVP was worth the up charge!All of the staff has always been friendly and polite to me even when/after some of you Nancy’s go in and cause a commotion or get down right rude and belittle the staff (It’s embarrassing to watch some of y’all). It’s okay for you to be nice first!Great place, great staff! It’s kind of like a Cheer’s for hair.

I always get a good haircut here. All the staff knows how to cut hair. Doesnt sound like a big deal, but a lot of the chains are inconsistent. I tried several barber shops, but they couldnt cut hair. This is the only place Ive been to in town that gets it right every time.

I’m a lady and I started going here after my hair started to grow back after chemo. My husband loves them also. I only see Hannah but my husband likes Katie and Hannah. I am ALWAYS getting compliments on my super cute haircut

They have managed to return to full service through COVID. They excel at giving me a great haircut every time. They have top notch stylists like Katie and Taylor. Use the Sport Clips app or website to request them by name. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend the store on Council Tree due to their great staff, efficiency and overall performance. Taylor is an excellent manager and stylist. And the entire team does a solid job in keeping the operations running, smoothly.

Worst haircut my son has ever had. I felt like I threw $30 away. I didnt get to see it until I got into the car due to covid. The stylist had my son take his towel to the dirty hamper as well. I took photos and hopefully can save anyone else from going. He is a 12 year old boy who cares a lot about his looks and has been in tears every day since. Please hire better stylists. Will not be returning again.

Taylor cant cut hair and is one of the most rude individuals I have ever met. Been in Ft. Collins for over 16 years and I have been to the Council Tree location several times in the past but I will not return for another bad haircut or to be treated like a second class citizen.

The stylists do a great cut for men. Also, they store the favorite cut in their system so they have it when my son checks in.

I showed up at my scheduled time for a haircut. Then 3 people showed up together AFTER me and they said they were on the list first and took them back for their cuts immediately and said i needed to wait another 25 min. If they were on the list before me, then they mustve been 30 min late and I shouldnt have had to wait on them. I got a text at 5:08 saying my stylist will be ready in 15 min. They didnt start my haircut til 5:55. I understand when places are running behind or if they give someone an extra 5-10 min if theyre running late but making me wait another 25 min cuz sometime else was 30 min late isnt fair

The hair cut I received here was top notch. The facility was clean, the staff friendly, and the results are amazing. This was well worth the extra 15 minute travel for me.

I frequent this location and have always had great experiences. The online check in has gotten easier to use as well. My stylist today was with Chris. This is one of the best haircuts I’ve had at this location. Chris was very thorough and precise during my time in the chair. After cutting my hair, Chris gave me pointers in applying styling gel that made sense, step by step. I’ll definitely be back and ask for Chris.

Had an AMAZING haircut last week with Staci. Sports Clips has a great Family atmosphere. The staff likes to joke around with all the clients.

So the stylist are normally good, but find a stylist you like. The last one I had, talked about things about her family. I mean why do I care about her cousin not being able to straighten their leg. Also, I wanted to use my birthday coupon, told her I wanted to, but she did not want to do the MVP, so I lost out... so, pick a good stylist. All other experiences have been good in the past.Initially rated at a 2 star, upgraded to a 3.Following up, the owner contacted me to offer me a free upgrade since the issue with my last cut. Will update again after my next visit.So, this is a follow up. I initially provided a 3 star , but I went a second time.Leah was my stylist, she was awesome! I went for the MVP treatment, WOW just doesnt say enough.So I went to the back where they do the hair washing. I was offered a hot towel for my face, which I accepted. I sat in the chair and Leah turned on the chair. Its vibrations helped relax me almost instantly, which was very nice as I have a high stress job, then Leah put the nice hot towel on my face. The towel was hot, but not too. It was enough. Then Leah started washing my hair, she did a great job, she started with a temple message then massaged my head while she was shampooing.. absolutely heaven...Look, I can get as descriptive, but you need to experience it. The MVP is 27.00 and worth it. So, go, ask for Leah. And the MVP, and enjoy.

I absolutely dont mind driving from Greeley to this location just for a haircut. Now days its really hard to find someone that is willing to pay attention to detail and make sure your walking out 100% satisfied.I have 2 young boys and its about style so they dont trust anyone else but Taylor to cut their hair. The kids absolutely enjoy getting the MVP because she puts them to sleep with the scalp message.Im very picky about my hair and Taylor knows just how to trim me up just right! I 100% recommend her to everyone that visits this location.

My brother and I both came together to get a haircut, we had to both use their stupid tablet computers and were told it would be a very short wait. We both get extremely simple, basic haircuts that anyone could do, which literally take about 10-15 max each.. I was expecting the same. They had 4 hair stylists working, and 2 were with patients, 1 nearly done. There was another guy waiting before us and 2 names on their screen in front of us. We sat there for 40 minutes. During this time the other customers had finished and left. There was 1 customer being helped so I asked if we could go real quick.. Nope, we sat there nearly 45 min with 3 dressers standing around wasting time waiting for the customers who were ahead of us on the list but 30 min late before they would help us! We left as we ran out of time!!We tried to go back the next week by calling to set up appointments for the following day.. NOPE!! They dont accept them, only option was to get in line about an hour or 2 before your preferred time and just hope it works out.. Before I could ask anything else, the rude lady hung up on me!I used to go to the sport clips across town, on Shields, and always had good cuts and luck with them!But this new 1 is a joke. They are definitely all about themselves and not their customers! They are rude, unhelpful, inconsiderate, and uncaring! Their customer service is horrendously awful! They hang up on you, will lie to your face, ignore or skip you!Avoid this place at ALL costs!!!!

Amazing haircuts especially for men. If you get their MVP you get a massage a hot towel your hair washed and a good haircut for cheap.

Had to get a couple haircuts done by Jordan and Mia and my goodness, I will never have them touch my hair or anyone else but Taylor. Luckily Taylor was back from vacation and I told her how terrible them girls cut my hair and she fixed their mistake. Taylor is the one girl I can trust and been going to her for 4 years. Next time I will wait until she is back. Also all the other girls gossip about how bad the customers are and brag about how much tips they can from them!

Used your online check in today. It said wait time was 75 min, so I checked in and arrived 5 min before my time. Once I got inside and checked in my wait time was 1hr 45min. What the hell is the point of online check in if once you get there it just moves you to the bottom of the list? Online check in does not check you in.

If you go to this place and have the unfortunate luck of getting Tracey, what youre going to want to do is grab the clippers and give them to someones kid in the waiting room. You will get a comparable haircut as she needs to line of work. She cut my hair and when I noticed it was all messed up in the mirror she said nothing and just started fading it higher. This woman was going to let me walk out with a botched haircut of her own doing. The only saving grace was Katie. She stepped in to help at first and she ended up finishing the whole haircut. Katie was a perfect 10 where as Tracey is the reason I have to wait for my hair to grow out again to get what I wanted. Go here, theyre great. Except for you Tracey.

Always a great cut! The stylists are on par with quality cuts! The online check in process is a bonus. If you plan ahead you dont wait very long at all.

After about 20 minutes of trying to get their online app to work, which is apparently the only way to make an appointment, I called and explained but they still REFUSED to make me an appointment. They kept repeating the mantra the only way to make an appointment is through their online app otherwise you must come to their site and check-in and wait. I could not believe they refused to taken an appointment over the phone and then started being jerks about it. Almost like they were making fun that my computer would not work with their app. Just rude, rude, rude! No thanks Ill go somewhere else from now on.

My husband took our 16 year old son to this place today. We were very disappointed with service provided. We will never take him back here. The person who cut his hair completely messed it up. There was spots that were completely down to his scalp, uneven and inconsistency all over the place. They put hair products in it even after he asked them not to. We ended up taking him somewhere else and they could not fix it. They ended up have to do a short buzz on him as it was that bad.

All the girls in here and provide a quality haircut from my experience and the ice or hot towel treatment can really recenter your mind after a nice haircut. I recently had a haircut from a guy named Javi and it was even better than some of the girls, unsure at first this place never has treated me poorly or given me a bad haircut.

The place was dead and they still rushed through my haircut. When I got out my wife pointed out that they missed a large section of my hair. I also wasnt asked what style or asked what I thought of it afterwards.Sorry Sports Clips I wont be visiting again, there should be some standards and you missed the mark in multiple ways.
