I have been training in Martial Arts over 30 years. I have never met a person like Grand Master Jang. Her wisdom and understanding, not only in the martial arts, understanding what each of her students need to succeed in the class room and in life.She takes the beginner by the hand and slowly walks them through the basics at a pace they can learn and succeed to the next level all the while building them up mentally, physically and psychologically getting them ready for the difficult challenge of becoming a Black Belt and in some cases a Master of the Martial Arts.The training becomes very hard and difficult with each belt. She continues to raise the bar to a level of excellence only worthy of a Black Belt. You will find yourself becoming the best version of yourself you could never achieve anywhere else.If you are just taking a trial lesson she will make sure you are taught at the beginner pace so you do not get hurt. No beginner can handle her advance training of Hapkido. Joint breaks, throws, chokes, punches, kicks and weapon training. Grand Master Jang will teach you every aspect of the Martial Arts if you stay with her and become a student.

Jang Young is a truly wonderful woman. Very inspiring!The class was a too light for me. I personally like to go harder. But was able to learn from her class.

This taekwondo school is full of liveliness and joy with a lot of children. I love coming here to even just visit. This school is the best there is!!

Master Jang is not only a martial artist of the highest caliber, she is also an incredible teacher. She has an amazing talent for teaching, both adults and children. Children seem to love her.Master Russom and the other instructors are likewise talented in both aspects.Children will focus on taekwondo, with a some practical self defense included. Adult classes focus on hapkido, which is as practical and real-life self-defense as it gets. This is the real deal - you will learn to take care of yourself.One thing that always strikes me about Jangs is that isnt just a business - Master Jang and Master Russom have a passion for what they do and they truly care about their school and their students. If you stay very long, you will soon find that the school is as more like a family.
