Crashed my car with six thousand miles almost completely wrecked and they put it all back together. Stops on a dime and stays in the lines going 70 on the freeway.

I came in for a repair of my bumper as someone had performed a hit and run on my car. I came in and spoke with Jay (if I remember correctly is his name). First he gives me a quote in the 2,000 range then brings it down to 1700. He says he cant go any lower than 1700 but my dad tells him (over the phone) that his truck that also needs repairs was estimated at 1700 with much worse damage at a different caliber collision. Simply put, it was a lot of confusion. With that being said Jay decides to leave the total around 1500-1600. Talk about unprofessional and just trying to haggle us for the most amount of money he can. Clearly he knew nothing about the price of the repairs he was going to perform as he kept changing the price and clearly just wanted the most he thought he could get from an unsuspecting female; I came by myself which was my biggest mistake. Its been many months at this point (got my car fixed in summer) I figured I would post this review as my dad said he still needed his truck to be repaired and that he didnt want me to leave a bad review. At this point I think he can go somewhere else that wont rip him off.

Beth was amazing and kept me in the loop on what was happening with my car and despite the fact they dont get paid to perform estimates their customer service never waivered! Removing and replacing the drivers side exterior mirror is a lightweight repair job for this crew compared to others theyve previously performed: $8,000 + repair to a nearly totaled Mazda 3, $10,000 + repairing an F-150 with extensive hail and tree damage caused by a tornado, so why the acclaim? To acknowledge the afore mentioned work not previously credited and for getting the necessary parts for this job at reduced cost, turning the job around in short order, great lobby conversations over things other than vehicles, and for Allens suburb attention to exterior detailing, i.e. the vehicle had been washed, nice job Allen!! Caliber Collision went above and beyond my expectations! I had a rather minor fender bender however it was one that would lead to quick tickets and unsafe travels on the road. I had assumed the repairs would take at least a week to obtain parts, repair and paint.. no. Caliber (Forest Lake) had my truck back to me in just over 48 hours! Bev and Heidi were so sweet to work with, they answered all of my questions and kept me very informed about every detail along the way! My truck was damaged by hail and I brought it to Abra. Great decision! The truck had damage to every panel. When I got it back it looked like it did the day it rolled off the dealership parking lot.

Got my rental fixed right away

I had to go back three times, first a major scratch on the side they didnt work on. They didnt completely remove the scratch the first time I came back, so I had to go back again. They oversprayed my wheel well and now I have to schedule another appointment to have that corrected. They called me on a Thursday and told me it would be two weeks before it was done. Then they called me back the following Tuesday morning and said it was complete. They shoved it through the shop and didnt pay attention to the work they where doing. When I left the first time they TOLD me to give them a five star rating for their corporate office to see. Oh hell no, I never do that after they tell me to. Ill be the judge, not them!My advice, Find a locally owned shop, not a corporate owned chain to have your work done.

Good customer service doesnt mean 100% perfect. Stuff happens and good customer service means they admit to problems and then fix it with out a fight. There were a few delays from my insurance company and there there was a delay from Abra. Both the insurance company and Jessica at Abra stepped up to the plate and made sure that I didnt have to pay extra for the rental because of the delays. And both did this with out a fight from me which is a million times better than a lot of companies. Very well done. So well done I needed to make it a point to post this review.

Took my truck in 2+ years ago for work on tailgate and sidewall. Replaced the side wall after months of waiting. Straightened tailgate. Now it is bubbling. First manager said they would fix, give them a couple days to pull paper work. 2 weeks later I called, lost paper again. New manager says the truck is old and that is why rusting. I point out that the only spot on entire truck that shows rust is where they worked. Then he claims the seal in the back of tailgate is broken....right where they worked straightening the tailgate. Tried to contact head office, they say they cant find my paperwork either. So bad body work and poor filing habits. Your insurance company recommends them because they are cheap, not because they are good or stand behind their work.

This place is horrible!! My insurance company sent us here, we live 45 mins away but this is the closest place. We call to make an appointment to bring in our truck and I rearrange everything to drive down. Once we get here they tell us it will be over a month before they can see our truck!!! Why would I drive 45 mins ONE WAY for an estimate with the work out a month!! I wasted my entire day plus a lot of gas for nothing!!!! And all they can say is sorry!! That doesn’t help me!!! Tell people that your work is a month out when they make appointments so they know if they will be wasting their time!!! My insurance company will be hearing about this, so angry!!!

LIed about a scratched window that came in as my replacement, did not offer an adequate solution, and wanted to reschedule my Saturday Appt, as likely their driver for this area called in sick, so they wanted it to be 2 days later, so Tuesday Morning. Which would not be possible to receive a replacement for the scratched window in time with no shipping (Sunday), and 1 business day in between to both call it in for order and for it to be delivered from their vendor on the same day. When I first placed the order a week earlier the person stated they needed at least 3 days to receive the glass in. That is when I knew she was lying over the phone. I canceled my appt with Abra and will be sure to let State Farm know their practices.
