Nate is very honest and does quality work. Fortunately for me I found him at the right time as he saved me hundreds of dollars of unnecessary work that I was going to be charged from my old mechanic . That was 3 years ago and I have been bringing him my cars ever since I dont even call other places anymore as I know Im going to get an honest answer and the best price sitting in his shop I have listened time and time again from his other customers how this shop was going to charge them X thanking him. I personally spoke with one guy in there that he was going to be charged like $1,200 for all of ended up just being some loose bolts ended up being $75

If I could give them 0 I would I called to ask how much it would cost for a diagnostic done and the guy over the phone said well we dont have appointments till monday. Im like okay thats fine how much is a diagnostic? Again we dont have any appointments available till monday. Again thats fine im not asking for an appointment just trying to price things out to figure out where to bring my car to. Well were closed till monday. Well screw you im not making an appointment im trying to price stuff out stop being rude. Im asking a simple question and you cant answer it or be nice about it. I will never take my car to you.

Had them look at our A/C during a road trip and they fixed it free of charge! Though this is a rare and uncommon occurrence it proves their friendliness and their commitment to professionalism.

How does an auto repair business demonstrate trustworthiness? Here is how:I brought my car to the Subaru dealer after smelling burnt oil. I paid them about $90 for a diagnostic test, which said that my head gaskets were leaking. They quoted me about $2300 to replace them. I didn’t want to pay that much, so I called around, and ACTS told me they’d do it for $1700, so I made an appointment and dropped off my car.The next day, ACTS called and told me that after taking some extra time to look at my oil issue, they determined that I simply had a faulty oil pressure sensor, which ended up being only $230 to replace.I had brought my car to ACTS intending to pay them about $1700 for a large job. They could have so easily deceived me and taken my money, and I still would have been HAPPY about it. Instead, they investigated further, and found a simpler and cheaper problem then solved it in less than a day.As long as I live in Forest Lake, I will never take my cars anywhere else.

Would give more stars if I could! Wonderful customer service, did a great job on my car and prices were reasonable. They shop around to find the best prices for parts for you. But most importantly...they are TRUSTWORTHY! I finally found a shop where I dont have to worry about being gouged. I will be going there for all my automotive needs from now on and so will my daughters. I have been highly recommending to everyone I talk to because they are that good.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Acts Automotive for many years now. They are the most honest and reasonably priced shop Ive ever worked with. This sometimes means that you need to plan ahead more than youd like, to get your vehicle in, in an emergency.But it always means youll get the best price and most honest workmanship around.

Do NOT bring your vehicle here! These guys are horrible at fixing stuff. I brought the work truck in to have a noise looked at, they were saying it needs a new transmission immediately. I took it somewhere else for a second opinion and it turned out to be something with the rear brakes. Cheap fix and nowhere even close to the transmission area. Put over 10,000 miles on it since “it needed a new transmission” and it is still running strong! If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I foolishly ended up bringing my personal car there as it started leaking from the head gaskets. The mechanics pinched the gasket during installation and returned the car to me. I didn’t realize it was pouring out oil until a whole day later and it turns out the mechanic DID NOT even test drive the car after working on it. Now my car has a permanent knock to it when it never made a bad sound before. They have fixed that problem but they will not fix the knock as they say “it was not their fault”. Be careful where you bring your vehicle as I urge you all to stay as far away from this place as possible! I forgot to mention that after they fixed their mistake with the gasket, they left my front 2 windows down about 3 inches each during the winter time. They did not even get a hold of me to tel me they finished the job and my car sat with open windows for 2 whole days with rain and snow. There was a good layer of snow inside my car when I got it back. These guys are a joke and come on who seriously rates their own company saying “these guys are the best!”..? Seems like they probably made up most of their positive reviews themselves under fake profiles. I repeat... STAY AWAY!

Once again Nate at Acts Autimotive came to my rescue. First time was when he drove to my place of employment in Forest Lake when I had locked my keys in my car. He was hesitant to take any money.Yesterday I was exiting my garage and my neighbor pointed out that I had a flat tire. Nate drove to my place, took the tire off, and took it back to his shop. Turns out it wasn’t the tire, but the tire pressure sensor valve had fallen off. I have never experienced such great service!I highly recommend Acts Automotive, and I am one grateful lifetime customer!

They fixed my car and I now go to them for all my car and truck care needs. They are honest and dont push a bunch of unnecessary stuff on you. We NEED more places like this.

I had some surprise car trouble up in this area a few weeks ago and the guys here hooked up my car to their diagnostic tool and informed me of what the code was, even though they were busy. They didnt charge me for it either!
