Staff was always polite and helpful. The room was clean and we liked that maid service was by request rather than always daily. There are several choices within half mile, this is a very good one at a good price.

Usually Marriott hotels are amazing… but this one in Folsom… try to avoid… the bathrooms are gross, they do not clean your room unless you request it, there’s no hot water for tea. The pantry is poorly stocked…just look at the pictures below…. Might as well drive somewhere else to grab some snacks… like BevMov next door. Overall horrible experience here.

Clean and comfortable. We had king size bed on the third floor. Our stay was quite we had a couch, TV, table and chairs, small fridge plenty of room for two. Blow dryer, iron and ironing board in closet. Perfect for an over night stay. If you are looking to stay a couple of nights they have outside lounging as well as lounging and a computer room inside. Conference room and gym are available. Walk to shopping and eateries. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Clean and quiet. Bistro was closed but that’s CA right now. Gym is larger than most hotels and has a ton of equipment. Conveniently located close to restaurants and easy access to the highway.

Was great choice for our family reunion. Liked the quite rooms. And was nice to have a gym if you into workout 💪.

Positive: This hotel has a fantastic atmosphere with a cheerful staff and is exceptionally clean. Negative: I can only fault the water pressure as a Marriott I do expect the shower has more water pressure than anyone needs. Honestly, I will book a room at a Marriott because of this.

Carpets need updating in the rooms. There is no microwave in the rooms. The community microwave you arent allowed to pop popcorn. No pool. Service is pretty good. Not many stations on the TV to watch.

Positive: The location is good. Negative: The room was clean but had a broken window, and the latch on the window also did not work. It needs some work to represent the Marriot name and turn up the water pressure (impacting factor).

Hidden charge for parking, no one informed me at check-in.

Room was clean with comfortable beds. There was some hidden fees such as parking! Price was still more than what my reservation confirmation stated. The AC is extremely loud and could not sleep. Also, was told we do not get house keeping since we were staying 3 nights. Never had that happen anywhere! Would not book this place again.

A wonderful hotel to stay at we were on the first floor which made things really nice and located next to the side entrance. What really up the Annie at this hotel was our exclusive sliding glass door to allow us access to the back patio where we had a whole city area to ourselves equipped with five outdoor chairs and couple tables and even a small grass lawn where the kids could play or if you had an animal they could use the restroom I suppose. and then further down the walkway you could gain access to the public area with the fireplace which made it really nice!

Usually stay at Hilton or IHG hotels but wanted to try a Marriot while in town. Price was competitive, but hidden fees, lack of amenities, and a somewhat cramped living space leaves much to be desired. Next time in town we will look elsewhere.

Wish we wouldn’t have booked this place. Our room feels so gross and I’ve rarely felt that way about a hotel! There are stains all over the carpet, the wallpaper is peeling in many places, there are splatter marks along the doorways and walls, needs a major update!... the bed is ok so that’s a saving grace 🙏🏻 not a place I would stay again especially during covid. During a difficult time we really needed a better stay where we felt safe and comfortable :(

What was supposed to be a romantic wknd,it was the total opposite..Bed bug&hair on sheets.They were totally booked so could not change rooms until the next day. The manager was supposed to call or come to room when she came in that day,she never did.We had to track her down .Not a good weekend at all.

The air conditioner made loud buzzing very few times it came on and you had to tap it to get it to stop. There was also no bathtub and a bathtub was pictured when I selected the room.

This place is awesome great staff, great everything, just be careful because people go around at night and will break in to your car, I work in construction and I forgot to put my tools inside my truck, when I went out in the morning all my tools were gone, I didn’t report it to the front office because I’ve been a victim of theft in the past and they never catch they guys so I figured I wouldn’t waist anyone’s time lol, other than that the hotel is excellent

Beautiful place. Staff is very nice, I loved my stay. I really like the way they set up for COVID with it being contactless. Everything you need is near by such as food, gas, etc.

Nice comfortable room with in easy access area. Lots of shops and food nearby for whatever u might need during your stay. Its a little weird with registration and checkout being so contactless but they are definitely taking the proper precautions to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

Our annual Thanksgiving stay at the Courtyard Sacramento Folsom did not disappoint. The friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast fare were once again spot on. The facility retains its modern, clean vibe with large open lobby areas great for gathering families. The rooms are clean, comfortable with refrigerators and coffee/tea makers. And the staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff in the hallways never fail to say Hello and Happy Thanksgiving. The location is great, right off the 50. We will be back again!

This hotel was nicely priced at $95 per night. It has had some updating in the past few years, and the pincher bugs on the bed were a nice touch. I had a difficult time falling asleep after that. There arent microwaves in the rooms and I was disappointed that the community microwave in the lobby was dirty inside including hair. The common areas carpeting is in desperate need of vacuuming. And the Itty bitty fridge in the room is barely cold with no way to adjust the temperature. I probably would not stay here again. It wasnt bad but I would pay more next time for a better experience.

Such a quiet location with excellent service. We were impressed with the staff. And I never write reviews. I wish all places were like this. My only reservation was the bed but I have a high quality bed at home so of course I wouldnt be a fan of it. Overall great location and the little cafe was impressive. Loved it was right off the freeway with nearby gas and restaurants. I have three small children and this location worked well with a family.

Bathrooms not clean at all, smelled like bodily fluids. Although the remodel is nearly incomplete the interior still looks old and outdated even though the outside looks much more modern and streamline. Staff is very friendly, once we brought the cleanliness issue to the managers attention which was after we had already booked a room in a different hotel for the next day he did issue us a refund on the second night. Hotel staff is really good and courteous. Although Im still unsure of why now there is a daily charge for parking in the public parking lot.

Conveniently located hotel in Folsom. Located close the freeway and many different restaurants and shops. Jasmine at the front desk was extraordinary! From the moment I stepped in, she had a friendly smile and was very welcoming. Recommended me places to eat and when I had a cold the second night, she personally came up to give me boxes of tissue and advised me to get some hot tea. She was genuinely concern. Service from employees like this make us want to come back again and again to stay at this hotel. Thank you Jasmine. Rooms were super clean and beds very comfortable. The furniture could use a little update. Lobby is updated and having a cafe/restaurant at the lobby was a big plus especially to get coffee in the mornings. I would recommend providing complimentary water bottles to guests each day. Otherwise this hotel met all my needs and would not hesistate to come back again!

My only complaint is that while you can get food to go, they wont deliver it to your room. Other than that, I have no complaints about this hotel or their services. Hiding behind COVID-19 as excuse for poor communications and not even keeping website current for site amenities and service outages. No water two of the days we stayed and no warning until check-in. Other guests received email three days in advance.

Charging extra for internet is absurd in 2020. Im sure its a corporate policy but its breathtakingly insulting to be asked to pull out your credit card for WiFi. As a millenial, Ill go elsewhere.

The staff was friendly, helpful and eager to make sure I had everything I needed. The cafe and lounge served promptly and provided excellent food. There are a number of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

This hotel is centrally located in Folsom, and was a great stopover for my son and I on our way from Tahoe. Very clean rooms and nice updated lobby. The location is right near plenty of food and shopping if needed. I would highly recommend this place for business or pleasure.

Picked this hotel only because it was closest to friends we were visiting, while being reasonably priced. However, it turned out to be a greater value than we expected! It is adjacent to plenty of shopping and dining, most of which are within walking distance. The property is updated and contemporary and extremely clean and well-maintained. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Open pool area is very clean and safe (prefer it outdoors but thats a nit). Our room was spotless with electrical outlets all over the place (important for a family with teens and working parents). The staff, especially Suzanne, are all friendly and very accommodating. Despite a full hotel, they managed to make us all feel welcomed with a very personal service approach. Although we were there because it was convenient, and only for a night, our stay was most exceptional!In the past, I have traveled a lot for business. Our family travels for pleasure. I have learned that paying high prices for rooms does not guarantee a nice stay or even good accommodations. So, I would say this experience ranks very high on my list as best places I have ever stayed overall!

Only thing I noticed This hotel didn’t have that others do was a “Guide” or “Netflix” button on the remote. Great location for food and activities as there is so much to do right there. Walking distance to tons of shopping, two movie theaters, and lots of food selections.

Excellent. clean, safe, newer area of Folsom. Conveniently located off the highway and near restaurants and shopping. They were very accommodating and welcoming to runners. Plenty of food options within walking distance and shuttle pickup for CIM is across the street. Hotel has all amenities for a great stay and went above and beyond with a warming tent at the start line, a grab & go breakfast for runners... Free parking. Free internet. Pool, spa, restaurant on site. Fantastic value! Highly recommend!Note: We stayed here for the American River 50. Worked perfectly for that race, too!

Peaceful, clean, great little get away.

Nothing special in Hotel. Fitness and Pool were closed. You get bored easily. They are providing a pass in Eldorodo fitness centre which is 4miles away from Hotel. Rooms are ok, but not fully equipped for long stays as they dont have a fridge or a oven. Apart from sleep, no fun at all.

Checked in on October 17, 2020 and was given room 135.Waking up I discovered that I was sleeping in a sheet that has big blood stained and it’s not washed or cleaned.This hotel does not deserve business 😡🤬🤬🤬🤬I was disgusted beyond belief that I was in sleeping in someone’s blood stain????Where is the Marriott standards.How about the protocols for this pandemic time?

Spent one night here. The staff was very accommodating to my request of another room because I wanted a view. The lady in the bar / cafe area was also very nice. I was sick and she gave me a big cup of hot water for the Theraflu I had brought with me- no charge. I ordered the pot pie and wings. She cooked them up quick and I was soon in my room watching TV and having a tasty meal.... Theres several fast food places walking distance from the hotel if you prefer. Overall a clean and comfortable place with a great staff. Ill return...

Ive stayed here before with my family and both times had a great stay. Marriott makes it easy to check in on their mobile app so as soon as we got there, room was ready and checking in was as quick as picking up the room key at the front desk. I booked a room with 1 king bed which was spacious and had a small couch but upon arrival, realized we needed a room with 2 beds. A call to the front desk and request for a different room was well received and we were given a different room without any hassle. Starbucks coffee is served in the lobby along with a variety of breakfast and dinner items at The Bistro. Beer and wine are also served and can be enjoyed in the lobby/lounge and flat screen tvs make it easy to relax and watch the game. A variety of snacks, wine by the bottle and drinks are sold in the lobby, a microwave is also available for use. Hotel has indoor pool and workout room, although we did not take advantage and use them. Only complaint we had from our stay was minor. Traveling with an infant, we needed a mini fridge and microwave in our room. Fridge was there but there was no microwave. We called the front desk requesting for one to be brought up to our room but were told no microwaves were available for our room. We were told we could use the one located in the lobby, not a big deal but a bit of an inconvenience. I will definitely book a room here again - nice sized rooms, great staff, located in walking distance to many restaurants and a variety of stores.

If you are looking to be near Tahoe but not in Tahoe, come down the mountain to Folsom and stay at the Courtyard! Folsom has a lot of great things to offer including this gem of a hotel. The staff here is friendly, mannerly and wanting to make sure you are having a good experience. The fitness center is compact with enough cardio options to appease the person needing a quick hit. There are free weights if you need to get your muscles a tune up. The indoor pool is warm and comfortable with a spa near by if you need to take a breather. Plenty of towels to dry you off after you work up a sweat or finish a few laps. Inside your room, expect a very comfortable bed with a clean room and a big bathroom. There is a television so catch up on the news or catch a movie. Lots of places to plug in all your e-devices! If you need a libation or a bite to eat, head downstairs to the lobby where you can get a glass of wine or a bottle of soda with a sandwich or salad. The Courtyard is also walking distance from two strip malls that have all you can need if you forgot something at home.

I had the pleasure of spending a night in this hotel and it was awesome! From the friendly staff to the comfortable beds...this place was top notch. It is nestled I the middle of many amazing restaurants and just a short walk to the Palladio Mall!

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. The fitness center had really great equipments, and I was surprised at how large the hotel pool was! Shame that I didnt bring my swimsuit. The free breakfast was excellent! Props to the chef who prepared my spinach frittata! It was delicious. Overall, great and friendly staff, and I would come back again!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, except that its not included (and you have to pay $10 upon check in, if you want the breakfast special. I didnt know that, so I had to pay for separate items). Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. (Although walls were a bit thin, but neighbors were fairly quiet.)

Comfortable, clean. No animals allowed, which is a huge plus for us! Construction close to being done but the construction did not have any effect on our stay.

The property was well kept both inside and out. The staff were friendly and responded favorably to my measly requests. The room was clean and well kept. The hotel was quiet and I slept well. Best of all, there was an ample supply of hot water and towels. I plan on staying there again.

While the room was nice the cleaning staff tried to enter the room before 10:00am and were rude when asked what they were doing, the front desk attendant didnt seem to care and only saidthat should not have happened. When you pay this much for a room you shouldnt be barged in on. And s decent apology isnt too much to ask. Disappoining

This property is proximate to the Foothill wineries which makes it very convenient for out of town folks. Booking however can be a problem. To get the best rates you have to prepay for the room or understand you only have 24hrs to cancel if you want the best rates. I would advise going through reservations and not doing reservations on-line because they do not tell you that when booking online.

We would definitely stay here again. We were in area for a family reunion. Great place to go back to after get together. Room was clean and bed comfortable. In great area for restaurants etc.

My family and I chose to spend 2 days at The Marriott Courtyard in Folsom, CA over the Christmas holidays. From check-in to check-out we were delighted with the hotel, and the service extended to us made us think we had checked into a resort. There are many local activities nearby, as well as some of the best eateries you could hope for. And 5 restaurants right next door made snacking a breeze! The pool area was fun, clean, and uncrowded. The room was large, clean and met our expectations. Overall, I would give this hotel a 10 !

The hotel is pretty good. Good service, the bistros has good food. The fitness center is more than enough. The only thing is that if your upper neighbor has heavy feet, youll note it, a lot. The floor to floor sound isolation is not that good. Now, is not an issue if stay out most of the day, but I swear I had a midnight Tap Dancer staying upstairs for a couple of days... :/

The hotel is located close to the main travel roads and near many good restaurants. service was great with prompt responses to the questions. did not use the motel dining for breakfast as a family meeting at a restaurant close by was one of the reasons we stayed at the hotel. we have stayed here many times and have been very satisfied with the staff, hotel, and surroundings. would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Folsom area..

Very clean and friendly Marriott Hotel. Staff was super helpful upon check-in. Trendy Starbucks and bistro downstairs made our stay much more exciting. We sipped our Starbucks coffees and watched the large flat screen on the comfortable couches in the lobby. So relaxing!

The rooms are pretty good. But not happy with certain things @ courtyard. Im here for a long stay . 1. The hotel does provide basic stuff like a dental kit.2. Parking is chargeable 3. Fitness centre is a disaster with just 2 threadmills and 10 dumbbells. 4. The complimentary breakfast isnt a buffet one. The options are limited and not filling.This is not like the other Marriott hotels I have stayed. Not quite happy.

Had a delightful stay at the hotel. We arrived after 10 pm and were warmly received by the registration staff. My teenage daughter was famished and staff went above and beyond to call of duty to help her with her snack purchase and preparation. The room was clean and nicely appointed. We booked the AAA package with breakfast included. The registration staff explained in great detail the breakfast package and the available options the night before, so I was able to order quickly. As someone who is mindful of healthful food, I appreciated that calories were listed with the menu choices. The cafe staff member were very friendly and our breakfast was delicious (I recommend the low calorie frittata!). Check out was a breeze. The location was very convenient to the freeway and there is a very large shopping mall across the street. I will be coming back (in 2 weeks, in fact!).

I was able to have Christophers assistance while booking the hotel. He assured me that our stay would exceed all expectations, and they totally did. We checked in late at night due to coming from out of town and had no issues. Come to find out, Christopher had set us up on the top floor, balcony room! AWESOME! Usually when staying at a hotel, they only have disposable cups - but I was surprised to see that there were two small glass cups which were perfect for the bottle of wine we purchased! Being near the road, you actually couldnt hear anything since they placed the bed perfectly in the room away from the sliding door. We still had the door open most of the time, and it was not a bother. A great stay, and well definitely be staying there again in the near future. THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND!

Gone are the days of the Courtyard providing a room with just a bed and desk. The Courtyard offers a bistro, a bar and is a convenient place to gather with friends. The rooms are spacious and provide more that just the traditional bed, desk and maybe a chair or two. Our King Suite was comprised of a separate living room, separate bedroom with a semi-separate bathroom. As if all that space wasnt enough, the suite also boasted a wet bar, mini fridge and microwave.Its a great place to stay for business or pleasure!

Weve stayed here a number of times and have found it to be the best at the price. Rooms are clean and spacious; Internet is fast; sufficient outlets in room; computers downstairs with printer to print any documents you might need. We had breakfast there which, alas, was only fair though the service was extremely friendly by both the server and the chef who brought the food. However, although theres lots of fast food nearby, theres really no good breakfast places close, so we just went with their food service. For dinner, theres a high-end shopping center across the street within walking distance with a number of good restaurants. All the hotel staff -- desk, restaurant and housekeeping -- get extra points for being friendly and polite.
