I love the location. Its so easy to get to from my house. The staff are nice and very professional. Unfortunately, the only dentist that made this place worthwhile has left and been replaced by someone who doesnt have much experience in dentistry and whos English skills are a deal breaker. Their website lists a different Dentist every time you refresh it and none of these people work there. I wont be going back.

I loved this office! Dr. Herrera was amazing. He walked me through the entire process & gave encouraging words the whole time. Brett was awesome, he was a huge help in making this process easier. Beatrice in the front office was very helpful too. Everyone in the office made it a very good experience. Highly recommend this location!!

I have the best experience here. I found this place when a had a dental emergency 5 years ago. They willing gave me an emergency appointment and helped me out. I have been a customer ever since. I left my last dentist because they couldnt take care of the insurance correctly. They are great here. I’ve never had a surprise bill!!! Ive had crowns and fillings here and the quality is top notch! They replaced other dentists previous fillings and crowns and i can tell the difference in quality. It feels so muche natural. The front staff is also super friendly and easy going! Love em!

I went to Ideal Dental due to another dentist had totally screwed up a feeling in crown. Ideal Dental repaired the teeth that the previous dentist messed. Ideal dentist made it to where I could eat again it look so good. I love the staff they are exceptional

This is such a wonderful place—every single person at this office is so friendly and warm. I actually enjoy going to my dentist! My teeth have never been healthier—this is the only place I’ve been that actually gives specific, proactive, effective advice and critique on my hygiene technique to actually prevent dental problems in the future. Highly recommend!

I USED to recommended this facility, but no more!! All they want is unfounded money💰!! I paid well over $1000 to have work done here and a place they referred me to, but now they are wanting more money because the staff did not verify services correctly!!! Not my fault they performed work they SAID was covered mostly and then wasn’t covered at all- I asked numerous times before signing to have the work done if it was all covered, and they said yes except for what I was paying for out-of-pocket that day! It’s a shame that instead of being patient focused, they are now money focused. You just can’t find good facilities anymore. And before anyone comments, no, it is not about the money! It is solely about principle!!!

I set an appointment 3 weeks prior, called 3 days in advance to confirm it and then again the day prior because I work 2 full time jobs and cannot afford my time to be wasted. Unfortunately that is exactly what happened, when I walked in my clerk seemed UNAWARE, and to be honest quite rude which is a lot coming from me since I am a laid back guy. After waiting an entire 2 and a half HOURS, I was led to the back to a dentist that seemed like he wanted to upsell me like a sleezy mechanic, forcibly attributing symptoms I know I did not have. By the end of the visit I got NOWHERE, I do NOT recommend this awful place of business, unless you have time to be wasted. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

My boyfriend and I have been a patient at this office for almost 4 years and we look forward to our visits. Its a nice, clean, intimate office. I love going places where the staff knows your name and make you the priority.. The support staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Christopher Herrera, is our dentist and he has great chair side manners, gentle and thorough. Between the both of us, we ve had alot of services that they provide and there is never a fear that we dont want to come back, because we feel great after leaving the office. Wow! What an amazing dental office! I have a terrible toothache, my jaw is swollen and hurting sooo bad...I called these folks and they saw me as soon as I could get there today. Everyone is kind and personable - the receptionist Megan, the dental technician Amber, and most importantly Dr Herrera. He was able to diagnose the cause of my misery and offer a reasonable get well plan that will get rid of my pain. I found him very knowledgeable, personable and genuinely caring, I know this will sound nuts - but I’m actually looking forward to my dental appointment next week!

The whole staff is great. The Hygienist Krista is the best and is very patient with my girls and myself.

This week I had my first visit at Ideal’s office. The staff were friendly and efficient. Dr. Herrera was fast and efficient. Overall it was a great dental visit.

I was a little nervous going to a new dentist in Texas. I have some issues with a wisdom tooth, periodontal disease, and a loose tooth. The office staff were very friendly and great communicators. My RDA was great at her job. She put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and confident that I had chose the right dental office and practice. My dentist was great at explaining my issues and my concerns with how their progression could lead to further problems. He was empathetic and personable. I learned that I have some bone loss around my loose tooth due to the periodontal disease. He referred me to a specialist to assist.So far so good. I am actually looking forward to going back for my deep cleanings. My wait time was not long. If they continue with this excellence, they will be my permanent dentists. I must confess I was torn between choosing Mint Dentistry and Ideal Dental base off reviews. Im glad I chose Ideal and I pray they continue to perform as they did when I visited them for the first time. Overall, excellence from everyone at Ideal despite this pandemic overcast on us all.

I am really pleased with this office. Dr Herrera has exceptional manners and excellent professionalism. He made sure I understood my treatment plan. He didn’t rush through the visit. The hygienist that attended to me was just as professional and well mannered. The office staff made me feel so comfortable and are really a kind group of young ladies. This place was awesome. Very nice staff, very clean and detailed with everything that is going on and needs to be done. Had a tooth pulled and no pain and discomfort. Reasonable prices with no insurance. As a trucker it was nice of them to fit me in and help me in need, and make sure I had everything done on the spot. Also didnt take that long either. In and out about an hour and half. No complaints. I recommend this place.

I’ve ALWAYS had fear of the dentist since an accident as a young child gave me a horrid experience and left me with an overwhelming fear of even the word dentist. I spoke to the receptionist prior to my appointment about my fears and from the moment I walked in EVERYONE was amazing! The receptionist the dental assistant and the Dr himself, everyone was courteous, fun and friendly. They didn’t patronize me like many dentist have done in the past, which always leaves me feeling stupid for my fears. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them, the whole office is wonderful!!

This place has the BEST hygienist in the game!!!In my most recent visit, she even tried to shower me with her Air-Water Syringe. Ideal Dental has been by far the best dental office I have experienced. They are professional, friendly, efficient, and make all patients feel at ease. During all processes, they let you know what is going to occur before they do it so that, as a patient, you know what to expect. I also like that they send reminders via text for efficiency sake. I cannot recommend Dr Herrera and his staff enough!

I have had some horrible experiences with dentists and am always very scared they’ll mess my teeth up or try to get me to get things done that are expensive and unnecessary. This dentist is the best. He is so kind and so are all of the employees there. I’ve seen drastic differences in the cost of many things I’ve gotten done here compared to previous dentist offices, in a very good way. They have always done an excellent job and that’s why I continue going to this office even though I’ve moved a couple of cities over.

I actually love going to this dentist. Everyone here is so kind. They remember details about your life and family, which I always think is good customer service. I also feel as though they are honest and don’t try to up-sell you on unnecessary procedures. Plus, they are in a convenient location.

I hope Doc that you will share this with your staff.I was going to give you a really bad review for the reasons listed below but after talking with the doctor I wish to commend her. She walked into the exam room not knowing what was going to hit her and a staff that DID NOT have her back. She may have been down to one assistant but the office staff should have been on top of this situation.At the time I got this survey my appointment was to have been 1:00 pm , I’ve been here since 12:50 waiting in my vehicle , I’ve made four phone calls to see if I had been forgotten . At 1:30 I was told they were cleaning a room for me , at 2:00 I was told they were waiting to get me a room , at 2:30 after being put on hold, I was told they would meet me at the door. Now in here in a room it’s 2:42 and still I’m waiting to be told anything, just standing here in the room . I have at this point lost a half days wage . And you should hear the excuses I’m getting from the doctor at this point.A simple explanation from the laughing staff of the emergency that had developed would have defused the entire problem.

I have recently switched from a dental office that closed to Ideal Dental of Hiighland Village and I should have moved sooner! The office is modern with all of the latest techniques and all of the staff wonderful. I love my new dentist, he actually was able to crown a badly decayed molar without having to root canal it. How refreshing! A dentist who is not price gouging you by telling you that you need extra services when you don’t! I’m now scheduling the rest of my family there as new clients too. Ideal Dental of Highland Village is the best and I highly recommend them!

This location in particular is really great at also keeping your needs in your best interest always; need an appt only on Saturdays? They will remember. And all costs are upfront. I moved away from Flower Mound, but will drive back here no matter what :) highly recommend!!!

Very happily surprised by Ideal Dental! You never really know what to expect when going to a new doctor or dentist, but from the moment I walked in the office I was put at ease. After a much longer than expected appointment (my fault, I hadnt been to the dentist in a while), I left feeling like so much was accomplished and no one was hurrying me to leave to get on to the next appointment. There is also great follow up when communicating with your insurance company. Everyone has been wonderful!

This place blew me away. As someone who dreaded going to the Dentist this place was totally different than the previous Dentist I used to go to. Alright, honestly... Im TERRIFIED of the dentist and I really dont like to be touched. Dr. Herrera and his staff are very considerate, communicate well, and set clear expectations for me. It had been more than 10 years since I had a dentist do anything to my teeth so I was a wreck getting a few fillings done. She is patient and explains every step of your procedure. Dr. Herrera is the best doctor, hands down! He listens to your concerns, tells you whats in your best interest, and explains the steps to get you to the health teeth goal line. You can TRUST and BELIEVE in what Dr Herrera is suggesting for your personal treatment plan. I have been to alot of dentist offices in the DFW area, and NO DOCTOR is as thorough and professionally educated with bed side manners as Dr Herrera. LOVE LOVE LOVE, this office!!

Dr. Herrera and his staff are a friendly, compassionate, and professional lot. All of these qualities helped me to forget that I was in a proverbial House of Pain. It was convenient that I was able to get a tooth removed w/o having to wait for an oral surgeon to do the trick.
