They came out for free and did not charge for an estimate. I had requested a new chain as I had a hard time opening and closing the flute. They told me I did not need a chain and they put WD40 on the flute. The flute opens and closes perfectly. They didnt charge me anything. They were very professional and went out of their way to please me. I cant say enough good about this company. I am President of our condo. association and will recommend to all unit owners. I previously reviewed another company who was just in it for the money. Unlike that company, A Village Sweeps genuinely cares about their customers.

This company is a big rip off! He repaired my chimney leak and was very professional in the beginning. I called in when the leak came back. He was very nasty and said he didnt do the work at my home. After looking threw my records and finding the check written to him, I called him back. I told him the leak came back and get gets very nasty and told me to call the police and take him to court. I was very professional with him. Not once did he say let me come look to see if the leak moved or anything. He just took my money. And I dont believe he even did anything to my chimney!! He is a con artist!!

Awful experience. Extremely unprofessional. Creeped me out. Gave price AFTER they looked around, looked at my home and asked what I do for a living. Had no idea what they were talking about. Couldnt answer any of my questions. CREEPY people. They were very strange. Wore big white sunglasses the entire time and looked like theyve been at a bar since 1991

SCAM!!!! This guy called me every name you can imagine just because I wrote the check out to village sweeps and not in his name...... sketchy???? Would NEVER recommend doing buisuness with this guy!!!!

This by far has been the rudest company that I have ever worked with. The owner gave me a quote for $800 on an index card (red flag #1) and when I told him that I wanted to get a second opinion he literally turned into the most disrespectful contractor that I have dealt with. He told me that if I get another quote, do not call him because he is not coming back. Even after the rude remark, I politely told him as consumer I had a right to shop around. He then told me that all the other companies would charge me anywhere between $4000 and $5000 and that he was giving me a deal (red flag #2). After I politely explained to him again that this my choice he yelled at me and said that he was going to remove his self from my crappy house and that he had $10 bucks in his pocket and would only pay $10 bucks for my home. At that point I laughed, as I would not allow myself to be brought down to his ignorant level. CONSUMERS PLEASE BEWARE!!! I have no doubt in my mind that this company have no clue of what they are doing and should not be in business. Please learn from my mistake and take your business somewhere else.
