Horrible customer service its amazing everything is fully open except the state or federal buildings they keep saying due to covid but if political have okayed reopening for work schools and everything else why arent they and they never answer the phone

Great resources, but not much help after job leads.

Instead of just helping me on the phone when I already had them online they told me to come in then theyll talk to me which is a waste of mine and their time she should just help me the problem would have been solved and she can move down to somebody else

After being laid off for Covid, my unemployment account froze due to the identity fraud scam. Cindywas able to help me by phone and was so patient and professional and compassionate. I highly recommend this office.

They dont give you the right number for Melvin for unemployment benefits, they give you a number that only wants you to spend money, MI Works are liars and should not be in business. I have called to toll free number for Melvin 10 times today. MI Works you better be open on December 27th, 2019

Easy to find following GPS, parking is quick and easy to get in/out of. The staff were very helpful and friendly in assisting me in filling out my required forms. Compared to the Lapeer location, this one was much busier, but still quick. Thanks!

I have found GST Michigan Works extremely helpful. Danita Horcha in particular. Danita assistance was far beyond expectations. So much so I have recommended her to my friends daughter who is also new to the area.

The women there seem nice. The guys there seem to have a chip on their shoulders. Not at all pleasant.

Its the Michigan works they help you to obtain employment by putting you resume out. They also keep a big board on the back wall of jobs available. The building was clean and staff was very nice and helpful.

Today was a great visit. Everyone was polite and very helpful. I was in and out withing an hour.

I visited GST Michigan Works! yesterday to assist me with logging into their new updated web site so I could report my job search report. The staff is very helpful, quick to resolve issues and have been every time I have visited in the past.

They know what theyre doing, and actually care. They will get you a job. Be respectable and act like you have some sense, and youll on your way to success.

They have plenty of resources to offer, but unless you know someone here, to youll never find out about the resources. They staff is very rude and short with people, no guidance, talks very fast to people with very little direction. This place needs an over haul!

First went to Mario Brown and got information on how to revise my resume. Then, Danita, helped me complete revamp it to the point where I truly feel comfortable in how Im presenting myself to potential employers. You can use the facilities without receiving assistance from the state they offer times of utilities; internet fax copying scanner private rooms for job interviews group areas for larger presentation. bottled water thou I think is one dollar so bring your own.

I think the gentlemans name was Reggie or Ronnie who helped me but I could be wrong. Anyways, I received help with a smile, he was very positive, upbeat and understanding. I appreciated his help very much.

Total Scam. I recently took a position in Flint, and was approached unexpectedly by a GST worker. She wanted me to fill out a ton of paperwork and promised financial assistance for starting my new job. She set a meeting date, and then failed to show up for the appointment she set. Two weeks later, she remembered me and sat in my office for an hour making me fill out forms. She said we were done, but had forgotten one form and to come to her office. When I showed up for my appointment, I was turned away at the door by the security guard because she was not there. I missed an hours work just to be turned away at the door. She ambushed me a week later in my workplaces parking lot in order to fill out a single sheet of paper, requiring just my signature. All the paperwork done, she said shed get my application processed asap. Two months later, I hadnt heard from her. I called her office and was surprised to find out they had my paperwork, but I hadnt filled everything out yet and nothing had been processed. I sent them three emails to set up a time and get some more information, no response. I called them three times, and got the same answer: paperwork wasnt finished, processing not started, will call you back to get this started. No further communications from them, no follow up.I do not recommend working with these people. I hope they get defunded by whatever agency controls them, and shut down. Theyre incompetent and unwilling to deliver on their promises or do the work theyre supposed to be doing.

Great place but they need to retrain some of the employees on remembering how tuff life really is an spare some people a break who wrks hard for there education an for people from other states. It shouldnt be so hard trying to get the simple things that u should have been getting but life happens. I vote they need different employees. Be nice an curtiuous to people in life an get along.

Extremely unhelpful. I went there to get help with unemployment benefits for the first time in my life and needed a lot of help due to certain circumstances. I was given the runaround and finally after several hours trying to get things set up, I asked the person at the counter for help. His response? And I quote...I recommend you do what most people in your situation do, give up and go homeWow thanks for the help!
