Great condo rental with nice porch to view pool, ocean and some of the most amazing sunrises. Unit was clean and comfortable. Summer was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay extra special! Would definitely recommend staying at Ocean Place and can’t wait to come back.

We received texts and emails with our check-in and check-out procedures, which was very helpful. We did have an issue with our washer/dryer. We received an immediate response, and someone came to look at it within the hour. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely book with AIG again!

This family owned rental company for the gorgeous Amelia Island provides superior service, using technology and texting to communicate and check in with customers. Our condo was fabulous with all the amenities one could want. This is our second year working with this company. Highly recommend them!

We stayed at Seagate, Unit A, right on Fernandina Beachfront. Quaint, clean, right on the beach, great for family of 4. We are from Florida, travel a lot on weekends with our 11 and 13 yo girls, and “highly”recommend. Booked through VRBO.

We just returned from a trip to Amelia Island via Amelia Island Getaways. First, they called while we were in route saying our unit was ready prior to the 4 pm check-in and we could go right to the unit once we arrived.Upon arrival we noticed a few items that needed attention.I called and they were IMMEDIATELY taken care of!The unit was very very clean!!!We had a good time and hope you consider Amelia Island Getaways !!!

We are a family of 10 who rented a beachfront home from Amelia Island Getaways for Mothers Day weekend. Besides the fact that the house was amazing -(7 comfortable bedrooms, numerous bathrooms, beautiful ocean views, huge patio, and huge kitchen) the customer service provided by Summer, Sloan and Lauren at A.I.G. was spot on. They took care of any needs that arose during the weekend. For instance, the blender wasnt working and within an hour a new one was delivered!They were responsive and professional and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

The folks at Amelia Island Getaways were great when we were looking to rent and fantastic once we got here. We love the location and they were incredibly responsive when we asked for a few things to make our stay perfect. Very hospitable and welcoming. We had a fantastic experience working with Summer at Amelia Island Getaways to plan two family vacations! She has an outstanding portfolio of lovely properties and she listens carefully to your preferences to find the perfect place for your needs. We LOVED staying at 62 Ocean Place. The condo was beautifully decorated and maintained. It offered a spacious and well appointed kitchen (we cooked almost every night!) The condo complex had two beautiful pools, the beach was pristine, and the views from the balcony were spectacular! We can’t wait to come back!

We are in the middle of our stay at one of the condos.The location is very good— short walk to beach and the room was clean. Great AC and a beautiful ocean view. It’s also nice to have an easily accessible garage for our car bikes and beach stuff.The property manager has also been extremely responsive to make sure we have a great stay.

I had an amazing experience working with Amelia Island Getaways. They were extremely easy to work with and GREAT at communication. The condo was extremely cleaned and well taken care of. Overall I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend them! I definitely plan to use Amelia Island Getaways again!

We have used Amelia Island Getaways the last few winters for a winter condo rental. We are always pleased with our rental. This company has a great team. The condo is always so well cleaned and prepared for us and often with some special touches and supplies. The owner, Summer Smith is a pleasure to work with and always checks in to assure that we are pleased with the rental and to see if there are any concerns. There never have been concerns. She makes herself available if we should need to reach her. This year was a difficult year with the virus and the closing of beaches and restaurants. When we were forced to change some dates Summer was so willing to accommodate us. This was so very appreciated. We look forward to doing continued business with AIG and highly recommend their impeccable service

I rented with AIG twice. I had a great experience both times. They are very proactive in solving any problem that may appear. AIG is very responsive to any questions or requests and so very easy to work with. The owner, Summer, personally handled most of our rental transactions herself and we will definitely rent from them again.

Summer is awesome! We made a reservation for a unit and found out the week before that the pool renovation was behind schedule and there would be no pool during our stay. My kids would have been super disappointed. Summer offered us alternatives or a full refund. We opted for the latter but because of her integrity to do the right thing we will absolutely use her again. She is someone you can trust to do the right thing when times get tough!

Amelia Island Getaways is amazing. The place we rented was a 5 star property. Summer was responsive to all my questions, and check-in and out were seamless. The place was very clean and even better in person than the pictures. Summer went above and and beyond in letting me know I had left my tempurpedic pillow at the property and promptly mailed it back to me the next day.. We will definitely book through AIG in the future.

AIG has been managing our property for over 2 years now and has done a phenomenal job. Our renters specifically, have been very happy with the responsiveness of AIGs resolution of issues, as we have been told personally how quickly things were resolved upon occurrence. Weve had out of our control and unforeseen issues that were handled professionally and quickly by Summer, Wesley, and their team. From hot water heater flooding to window blinds strings not working to refrigerator ice machine suddenly stop working. All issues were dispatched and resolved quickly. Rental volume this year has increased significantly as repeat renters are starting to book annually. AIG always ensures that the pictures of our condo are always up to date, are of the highest quality, and they are quick to let us know if there is something we can improve for our guests. We are glad we chose AIG for our Ocean Park Property. We highly recommend and appreciate AIG.Thanks for what you guys do, every day!Jeff Costa

We have owned rental property on Amelia Island since 2011 and are former clients of Amelia Island Getaways (AIG). Our contract with AIG was just 12 weeks long (May-August 2019).Early in the summer the air conditioning (AC) went out in our unit. After we were notified by AIG, we immediately contacted a local AC repair company and offered to move the tenants or bring in portable AC units and we were informed by AIG that the tenants declined. The local AC company came out the next day and restored the unit. That evening the unit failed again and we called the repair company again. The repair company responded promptly and determined the unit needed to be replaced. We scheduled the replacement for the later in the week (soonest possible). Once the tenants were informed the AC would need to be replaced, they agreed to move to another unit in the same building.Obviously, this was a very difficult and challenging situation for everyone, the tenants, AIG and ourselves. We paid the rental costs for the new unit and offered the tenants a discount for their discomfort during their stay at our unit. Unfortunately, this was not the end of our troubles with this issue.At the end of the week the AC was repaired and we were surprised to receive a text from AIG that “they could no longer represent our unit”. AIG gave the tenants a much larger refund than we agreed to, resulting in zero revenue for the week for our unit. AIG kept all their commission on the original rental amount and in addition, we were charged for “work orders” covering AIG activities during this event.In the ensuing conversations with AIG, we noticed a continued refrain about ‘negative customer reviews. In our opinion, AIG willingly sacrificed their relationship with their clients in order to minimize the risk of a poor review. We acknowledged receipt of the “60 days notice” as outlined in the property management contract because we felt AIG was solely focused on their interests and showed us they did not value our relationship or interests. By the end of the following week, the VRBO ad for our unit was removed and therefore no opportunity for “bad review.”One point of contention between us was with the contractual language. The contract allows AIG to “refund or move” tenants at their sole discretion. While we were fully willing to compensate the tenants for their discomfort and paid the rental costs at another unit, AIG’s decision to double the refund we offered and terminate the contract sent us researching the contract terms. The contract as written does not allow AIG to both refund AND move (at their sole discretion).Subsequent to this (during the 60 day period), we had additional problems with AIG. 1) One family damaged outdoor furniture and AIG refused to file an insurance claim or withhold funds from the deposit to cover the damages. 2) When we signed on with AIG, we were required to pay for an annual subscription to VRBO. When the VRBO account was cancelled, we were not refunded the full balance. We asked that the adjustments be made on our final statement, but we only received unprofessional and derogatory responses from the AIG Owner and no adjustment was made.Yes, all of this in just 12 weeks. Our initial excitement for working with AIG and getting “high quality personal service” they professed was quickly squashed and we are simply appalled at their unprofessional behavior and terrible management of our unit.

I was so impressed with not only the property but the rental process and the service of AIG. You can really tell that they care about the quality and comfort of your vacation.
