Best service ever! Direct-to-door delivery and pick up couldnt have been easier. The bikes were so clean and had nice, cushy seats. Did I mention price? Best price on the island - - really. Thank you, Mike for being available for our questions.

Our first visit was fine - the gentleman working was friendly. My children had been wanting swim masks that cover their noses. They found some labeled 3+. We got 2 of them. My daughter attempted to wear hers, but it was so small it kept popping off her face. My son started to try his, so the package was cut but not opened all the way once we realized the other was too small. I went back to the store today to attempt to exchange the unused item. I was told it could not be returned unused because the package had been cut. These masks were poor quality and at $9.99 each, priced high. The poor customer service gets them 1 star from this local who moved away but returned to show my family what a great place it is. No, apology was given. I cannot recommend this business. We will go with classic local shops like Driftwood in the future.

We rented bikes here on a recommendation of some friends. It did not disappoint. Its a great location to head in any direction with many great places to see all around. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Process was smooth. We are already talking about coming back!

We rented bikes for 4 hours and had a great time riding into downtown. Awesome people to deal with. Courteous and knowledgeable about the area. If you are in the area you definitely need to go by and rent Mike and his wife.

This store is INCREDIBLE!!! Mike was super accommodating making sure we had everything we needed on a Bike Rental we did. Prices for collectibles or items you needed for your beach stay was very well priced!!

I stopped by Beach Rentals this week to grab a kayak for a couple hours while in town. I was absolutely blown away by my experience. It appeared to be a couple running the store, and they had to be the most helpful, resourceful, and customer oriented store owners Ive ever come across.When asking for the kayak, they recommended I look at renting a board instead -- which was a much cheaper rental -- because the tide was heading out and waves would have made the experience pretty miserable. They had live data on the weather, tides, wave heights and frequency, and was pretty insistent I went with something thatd be fun --and less expensive.They were extremely accommodating and friendly, offering tips and suggestions. I think I was more taken back by them suggesting I take a more cost-effective option so Id have a better experience. Certainly something Ive never experienced when renting ocean gear from other like places --which I do frequently when travelling.Such an incredible experience and kudos for the owners on how they run their business. They arent just pushing you into what they can make the most money off, they truly want the best experience for their customers --what a concept.The prices for their rentals I felt were very reasonable anyway, however, when I returned the rented board, they only charged half of what the full rental price was because I didnt have for a full two hours.I honestly cant say enough about this store, its owners and the way its run. Incredible experience and I will be going back next time Im in town. I highly recommend.

The staff and the quality of the bikes were fantastic. In addition, their rates were significantly better than at Amelias Wheels on the Omni property (where they wouldnt even allow for advance reservation of bikes for a week). Lastly, the staff from the Beach Store & More delivered our bikes, helmets and locks right to our door and picked them up afterwards so it was a huge time savings for us. We would rent from them again in a heartbeat - they were top notch!

The owners of The Beach Store and More, Mike and Kim, were among the friendliest and most helpful people we came across in a town full of friendly and helpful locals. When the bike rental place closest to our VRBO was out of bikes, we called Mike and he immediately set us up with three cruisers, helmets and locks for less money than the closer location. Kim went out of her way to find a shirt in my size and Mike shared a variety of great tips for our short family ride around Amelia Island as well as insights for my longer road ride south toward Jacksonville. Their business is conveniently located across the street from the beach about half way between the Ritz Carlton and Main Beach and just a few blocks from the Egan Creek Greenway. Highly recommend for great service, fair prices and genuinely nice people.

We did the weekly bike rental with one trailer for the kids. It was one of my favorite parts of the week. So glad we chose to rent the bikes!

Wife and I rented bikes from them. Took a healthy ride to Fort Clinch State Park, side trip and back (15-16mi). We had a fantastic trip, and it was great way to see the island. Mike told us about an “off the map” trail that was much more fun than being on the streets/sidewalks. We had one small issue but Mike at the store took care of things! Great experience and the perfect central location. Go rent some bikes and ride!!!

I found a fantastic dolphin/turtle pendulum clock and a lovely stone dolphin statue. Taking them back to Port st John!

So i visited Amelia Island with a few of my girl friends. We had plans on riding bikes around the island where I once worked. While searching for activities to partake in, I ran across the Gem on google a couple weeks prior to our mini vacation. Great customer service, sweet prices and a smooth transition when renting bikes. The bikes where great too, if youre ever in this area and want to rent bikes for affordable prices PLEASE try beach rentals and more. They wont disappoint....Thank you guys so much!!!

I recently rented a bike from here for a long 16+ mile ride and was extremely impressed with how well maintained the bike was. The price was reasonable and the bike was excellent. Overall I would highly recommend them for all your rental needs as they pay great attention to the equipment.

Great experience with Mike and team at Beach Rentals, they setup an umbrella for me each day, and came back to adjust it during the day, super service! Bought a great pullover there too, heavy weight recycled wool, only $26!

Very friendly staff. Shop offers rentals on boards, kayaks, and bikes which seem fair priced. In addition to rentals, they sell beach attire and supplies.

Nice people, prices arent bad, was able to add to our sand castle molds for more fun on the beach. Bought some shades, lost them in the water :(. Good place though.

Great selection and great customer service!

Bought sunglasses there this morning, got to the beach, went to put them on and they snapped. Went back in for a refund and they tried acting like it was my fault. They only gave me half credit saying theres no way they just snapped putting them on. I wont go back in for anything.
