I’ve been going to Sunshine Nails for a few months now and they have always done a great job. I went in yesterday without an appointment and Cita was my nail tech. I had two inspo pictures that i showed her; I wanted to combine the two. I love the way that they turned out! Cita even apologized for “not turning out perfect” and told me that in the picture i showed her that they used stickers for the design. I love the way they turned out and to me they look perfect!! I will also attach the two inspo pics i showed her. Highly recommend! This set was only 100 by the way! :)

Have been coming here for over 6 months now and most of the time it is GREAT! But every time I am stuck with Bonnie it is just terrible one I didn’t get the colors I wanted. Tried to explain but no one helped her understand but the fill isn’t even on the full nails on top of the shape being all sorts of janky. Made my concerns known and still no one cared this was 60$!!! How crazy. I shouldn’t of paid for this. But I did. Really would love to be contacted because it’s just not okay. And I will not be coming back and retracting all good things said.Also asked for chrome and she put blue and when I told her no she didn’t understand and put black on top. Which didn’t work. So I left with blue 😑

I have been a regular at Sunshine for a few years now and I won’t go anywhere else. These techs are incredibly talented! I have gotten amazing sets from Vinny, Sara, Wendy, Tina, Vy, and Bonnie, as well as the best pedicures from Vivian and Hannah. They pay attention to detail, make sure you’re getting what you ask for, and are always upfront about pricing. Their prices are clearly posted and if there are extra charges due to designs, they will tell you before they perform the service. Sunshine nails is highly professional and I’m grateful to have found them.

Final update- NEVER AGAINI went back after owners response to get a different design since they messed up the first one I figured I would give them a chance to fix. Sara greeted me and asked me why I didnt like the design! I was baffled then she asked if I wanted a fill when I just got them filled by her. A different tech did my design, she chipped a chunk of acrylic while buffing then pretended she didnt see it. I asked her to fix it and attitude. She finished the design I walked out and she chased me down in the parking lot to say I needed to pay! The audacity! I explained that I would not be paying for them to fix their mistake and left. I will NEVER come back they treat you like just a number. 120.00 lesson learned!It says a lot that every negative comment they try to blame the customer and take zero ownership for their mistakes.----------------------------------------------Very disappointed. This is not the design I asked for and looks nothing like the pic. Sara was the nail tech.*response to owner*I asked for nail removal and a new full set but Sara insisted on getting a fill and I followed her recommendation. I think its important to be honest with clients about what you can and cant do I would have happily picked another design or got a new full set as I originally planned just needed to communicate that. I was super nice despite being unsatisfied with the design. I would be happy to come back and have you fix the design with a new one. Thanks.

Ive been a regular (every 2-3 weeks) customer at Sunshine for over 2 years and absolutely love them.The techs are talented and kind, especially when treated with equal kindness and respect.I come here for a few key reasons:* High quality products and a wide, modern selection of colors.* Their acrylic work LASTS! Better than any other place Ive ever been.* I am remembered by name and treated with kindness and care.* My preferences in color, length and shape are remembered but Im always asked if I want to change something up or if I was happy with the last set.* I usually see miss Cita who is incredible, but have also had wonderful experiences with Vinny, Wendy, Tina and Sara. Ive seen them work as a team and help each other out if theres a misunderstanding with a customer in an effort to provide the best possible result.Its really hard to work in the service industry, especially when language can be a barrier and customers have lofty expectations and very little patience. I appreciate the Sunshine team so much and enjoy each visit!

Best place for nail art! Definitely going back. A little bit on the spendy side but 100% worth it.

WORST WORST WORST NAIL PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! DONT GOWe came here on walk-ins and everything was good until we sat down. My moms chair was broken and they didnt offer to change seats. They start to do her pedicure and the nail lady(who was running the place) kept getting up and leaving. Finally she continues and literally pick at my moms skin AND MADE IT BLEED. My mom asked her to stop but she kept going without saying a word. Eventually my mom pulled away and kept moving on. They move to the other foot and did the same thing. BUT WORSE. They made it bleed SO BAD and PAINFULLY.Never ever coming here again. I do not recommend this for anyone who is looking to relax or anything.

Got a fill and beautiful art yesterday. Tina did an amazing job. And is super friendly. I did feel it was a bit much $74.00 for the fill, 1 nail fix and the art. Tina took her time and did a beautiful job. Ill be going back in 2 weeks for sure. :)

Ive been here twice before and they did an amazing job so I went back. From my previous experience they did pretty complex looks so i thought they would be able to do this or at least something similar. This is what i asked for vs what i got. For $100? Are you kidding me? Never going back.

I LOVE MY NAILS!! I came here the other day for the first time and was so happy with the set of acrylic nails they did for me. Their prices are very reasonable for the designs they offer. The lady who did my nails was the sweetest and did them exactly how i wanted. She was very kind and took the time to make sure every one of them was shaped nicely and consistently checked with me to see if they were how i wanted. Very happy with my nails and recommend to others

Got a pedicure done it was average it was pretty shortI asked for a flower and the girl told me it’s there. “Policy “ that they cant do a flower on top of regular nail polish only gel super disappointing.. while post nail places do anything you ask for.

This Place is awesome. Every nail Tech knows how to do designs and can even do any Design from a picture you bring in , they do not rush and very detaied this has been the best experience Ive had at a nail shop in Washington thus far!

Customer service is definitely not the best. Little english was spoken, that after every word I say they laugh and speak their own language making it impossible not to think theyre talking about you.Most of them spoke little English or had a slight accent which made it extremely hard to communicate. This is all not the case but the fact that they were so messy, unorganized, and unprofessional! They hurt my nails so many times with their continuous apologies. I came with my friend and her nails last only 2 days? with all the money she spent on them!Final outcome had half of my nails sticking up like they didnt set them up correctly!!!Not recommended!

Went here for the first time and my service was rushed due to the fact that they were closing in one hour. The person who started my nails did not finish and let someone else take over due to the fact that they were closing as well. I made an appointment and let them know that I had gel on prior to scheduling it. The application was sloppy and got under my real nails. My real nails were not trimmed either. The application is inconsistent and they are so thick. I am one who loves getting my nails done and I do not recommend this place.

I like the salon. I think their designs are detailed an Beautiful. There are just two things that I wish would be different. 1.l want walk out of there and look like I just got my nails done.FYI I just got my nails done yesterday around this time. 2 The amount of glue they use for certain things is skimpy. I was supposed to have Crystals on my nail. Nothing and like I said it’s 24 hours stones have comeOff n crystals have come off. Do they charge per nail per design

I loved my first time experience here. I came on a Friday afternoon. They have clear dividers at each station, make you wash your hands & check your temperature for extra protection. I was attended by Cita. She was very nice and professional. She did her work in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend getting your nails done with her. I showed her a picture of something I wanted and she did her best to get my nails like the picture as much as possible! Thank you Cita! I’ll definitely be coming back.

At first I called to make appointment for three people, and they said okay but when we arrived they said they can do only a full set and manicure. Not only that but when we got home, whole nail polish got peeled off. Plus, the service was awful, prices were high.

This is the worst nail place to go. The nails look like this... sticking up.... all pointing different ways.

I’ve been here about 3 times total and I loved my last 2 set nails they lasted for a long time, my second set I felt rushed and I didn’t realize till I left, a chunk of acrylic was on the side of my nail, my last previous visit I was quoted 2 different prices.. I was told $83 and when I asked the nail technician she told me $70 I ended up paying $80 but I feel like I was overcharged for only medium nails, no designs, no art, no jewelry. When I originally said I want them the length in the picture (long). In overall I felt like the nail technician was rushing which is understandable this place gets really busy.. when I got my pedicure the lady did a lovely job only downside was that my toes were a bit cut up and were burning when she sprayed the sanitizer.. and my nails are beginning to lift up and I just got them done on Thursday, didn’t get that much of a tip cause I didn’t really enjoy my experience.. I seen another post where someone had gotten black spots under there finger nails and around there nails after visiting this place, not sure what caused that but I don’t think I’ll be back.. although the work they post on Instagram is beautiful..

Went today to get my nails done again in years, I am very pleased. I originally wanted them a little shorter but wendy convinced me to have them at this length and Im glad she did.

Today was my first time at Sunshine’s and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the work I received on my full set! They are absolutely beautiful, I was so enamored I forgot to get the nail technicians name, it was the only male in the salon. He was wonderful, definitely worth the money!!! Treat yourself to this place, you will not be disappointed! I drove all the way from Lakewood and it was worth the drive! 😁😁😁

They did a great job on my nails. The value was a bit on the expensive side and I had a hard time getting an appointment I didnt answer the phone or a response on social media. I had to walk in to make an apt and wait an hour.

Nails came out beautifully. It would be 5 stars, however, my finger got cut by a power tool on accident. First timeI ever bled in a nail shop. Other than that they were amazing! Excellent lineworrk, very kind employees, and always making sure you like what they’re doing.

Sara did an amazing job and so did the lady who did my toes . i actually got my toes and nails done at the same time, so while i was getting my toes done, sara was doing my nails, which was amazing! it saved more time. Definitely worth the price! i would recommend going here!

Ive been here twice, Sarah did my dip manicure both times and Vinny did my pedicure. Both did a great job, but I really love Sarahs work. She is thorough and I get lots of compliments on my nails. One of my red tips is fake...can you tell which one? (The light in the pic with red and gold is not doing it justice).Update: The tip fell off after a week and the polish on another nail started to lift. I went in to get them fixed and it was done free of charge. Very happy they did that for me, love them even more.

This is my second time patronizing Sunshine nails, and thank God I finally found a nail shop that has a friendly staff, quality service, full functional tools and equipment, and my nails lasted almost three weeks without any damage. Most places in Tacoma cannot do the trendy nails designs and still show great technical skills and that’s a few of the reasons why I go.I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great nail tech. BTW the young male who works there has done my nails the two times I’ve been and he’s awesome.

Over charged, 223$ for 2 pedi and sets. My 11 yr old pedi/ mani 50$. Ive never had my nails look so horrible.

Design was ok but man..... the guy who did my nails was RUDE and nails werent great for paying over $100. Should have just done it myself🙄

They did a beautiful job, the Google ratings did not disappoint. All the negative reviews seem to be about price, but their prices are clearly listed in the store. You pay for quality, and to be honest this was a bargain for the quality of workmanship. They are very friendly, I will be back!

The manicure that I received was fair but unfortunately, the organic pedicure that I received caused a bacterial infection on my big toe on my left foot. My doctor had to prescribe me antibiotics.

I felt rushed the lady was not attentive she was not helpful under the circumstances. And then I got into a disagreement with a male worker because and my mother said we felt rushed

This place is all about money . My daughter came in for a fill and pedi (grandfather) took her. She needed a fill (regular polish as she already had on) and the talked my 11 year old and father into gel polish. A service that should have cost $50 MAX ! Ended up charging $91. He knew she had regular polish and needed it replaced with regular polish. But clearly just wanted to get more money from two people who didn’t know there was even a difference. I don’t recommend this place. Pedicure looks like a child did them, my daughters nails are slanted and not even. Her nails are not the same length (from filing I assume) shape was not square as asked.

Way too overpriced & last two times i went horrible experience because i had the same person , first time she did my toes and second my fill in .

I explained and showed the nail technician how I wanted my nails and the still did them the complete opposite and messed up

Been trying to find the perfect nail salon for years and finally I’ve found Sunshine Nails. I’m very picky about my nail shape but Vinny did a great job! He took his time and made sure they were perfect. They turned out beautiful! Plus they have great customer service, very warm and nice people that take care of you.

Van and Vinny did an amazing job and I really appreciate how they took their time and didn’t rush like most other people do. They are very friendly and nice. I wanted to try out this place because of their instagram. All of the nails on there look all neat and pretty, but that’s not what I got at all. I have acrylics and needed one nail to be fixed/get a color change. Wendy tried to fix it because it was crooked, but she ended up filing the nail so small and had to redo the whole nail. She removed the acrylic by pushing a nail tip (yes, a nail tip) under the acrylic to lift it up. After she removed the acrylic, she cut my nail super short and left it all jagged. All that and the nail still doesn’t look like the shape I want it to be. Also, all the drill tools are in a little cough drop box and looks like they haven’t been cleaned. They have clear dividers between the stations, but that’s about it. They don’t use new tools for every customer and don’t sanitize anything. I also got a color change. A different lady put on the color and she was rushing while putting it on. I have some of the hairs from the brush that got stuck on and overall it just looks horrible. I just needed one nail to be fixed and a color change, but I left not liking my nails even more than before.

STAY AWAY!!! Absolutely rude and horrible customer service! There was a misunderstanding upon pricing when i asked for jewels on my nails and when I went to pay i was bombarded by Vinny who began to yell at me and told me she told you the price!! Followed by “okay we’ll just take it off!” And brushed me off and walked away. When Sarah approached me i asked what would be taken off and she said “the jewels” , not a discount price. Sarah the “manager” then tried to tell me how it was my fault for not understanding her and basically forced me to put my card in the machine to pay, when i asked her what she could offer as a discount to compensate for the misunderstanding she just continued to say “$69 dollars $69 dollars”! “PUT YOUR CHIP IN!!” I felt attacked and I will be warning people to stay away. As a manager myself I know good customer and stepping in to ensure a paying customer is left feeling satisfied. These are money hungry people who do not care about you as a customer only for your money! THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a nail salon!!UPDATE: two days later and my jewels fell off and my nails broke. HORRIBLE QUALITY.

Sarah did my nails a few weeks ago! I just moved here from Florida and I had been going to the same place in Florida for yeeears! So I was nervous about finding some place new. I tried 1 place in federal way and had a horrible experience. And so I chose to come here and it was awesome! Sarah was so nice and we talked and she did a great job on my gel nails. I’ve gotten so many compliments!! Got my eyebrows done as well and she did great on them as well! Didn’t rush and took her time :) I need to get my nails done again so I’ll be in soon !! Highly recommend !!

After trying almost every nail salon in Federal Way I had resigned myself to the fact that I would have to travel to Tacoma for a good fill and pedicure. I am thrilled to have found Sunshine Nails! This salon is very clean, super friendly, great choice of colors and they do a fabulous job! They are definitely my forever nail salon!

At first glance the salon is a nice place, but the customer service is horrible. Depending on which nail tech you get the prices change. The manager is rude and very unprofessional, he clearly could use some training on soft skills. On two occasions I had to wait 30 minutes passed my schedule appointment time for someone to even start on my nails. I would not recommend spending your time or money on this place.

The absolute best!! I’m so obsess with my nails, and i love the staff there! They treated my best friend and I so well, and I love Sarah! She did my nails for prom and let me tell you, they’re sooo beautiful. I think I found my new nail tech 😊!

Initially I was drawn to this salon by the work that was posted online, but from the moment I walked in the door I was treated very poorly. Let me start by saying dont waste your time scheduling an appointment, they dont honor it.Their customer service is definitely the worst that Ive ever encountered. I explained to the nail Tech exactly what I wanted before my service started I even showed a picture of how I wanted my nails done. I should have known that things would not turn out right because the nail Tech kept asking the other nail techs how to do my nails. When I try to explain in more detail what I wanted I was told I dont know what Im talking about. . At that point I didnt want to argue so agreed on something totally different.Long story short dont go here

Spotlessly clean and I am extremely picky on a clean environment. The new owners are friendly, professional, efficient and easy to converse with. I had a special organic pedicure and a nail dip. I highly recommend the special organic pedicure, my legs and feet are oh, so soft and my nails look great. These people do a wonderful job.

So disappointed with Sunshine Nails in Federal Way by Sharis! The woman working there Sarah did not take her time at all and did I complete set on my daughter a for me and the time that the gentleman did a fill and painted someone elses nails. I always get designs with regular nail polish. I showed her the picture of the purple nails and wanted that design but done with burgundy and you see how mine turned out she just completely rushed. I went back and wanted her to just fix them so that they look nice and she told me it was my fault that she told me to get gel nail polish thats why they didnt turn out she didnt even paint around to the edge of my nail on some of my fingers. She told me to go sit down so I stopped there for 10 to 15 minutes thinking that maybe she was going to fix them no she had the guy that works there come over asked me what was wrong I explained again and he said hell still just give me a refund so I can go get them painted somewhere else. All I wanted was for my nails to look nice and her to actually take time and do it right we had an appointment it wasnt like we were walking and she had to rush!

Best pedicure ever! I never have had a stone massage, completely delightful. The staff is extremely nice and hard working. Excellent place. My new favorite.

Friendly service but Im surprised by the quality. Got a gel manicure 5 days ago and the polish is already chipping. Im not sure if this is because of the Tammy Taylor brand or application. There OPI selection was also a bit more limited than expected.

We LOVED it here!Place was spotless, the nail technicians were flexible, kind and very talented.My mother and I were looking for a new place to visit and we are going to be staying! I had gel done and she got powder. I have invited two friends to come with me next month and they are very excited after they saw the pictures I sent them. My fiancé who is used to seeing my nails done, commented on how nice they looked. This place is a hidden gem.GO!

Really wanted to like this place and only went because of reviews.It was a waste of my money very disappointed. I got a fill and pedicure the lady who did pedicure was extremely aggressive and super fast slapping and pulling my calfs worst pedicure of my life. Informed them my finger nails were rigid on the end so I asked to smooth them out and the male came and started filing my nails while I am standing to pay. At this point I am completely fed up and realize this was a huge mistake giving this place a try. Looking at my nails in the car they were all different lengths the ends and sides so rigid. Went and got nails fixed at another nail salon.

Possibly the worst nails and pedicure I have had. I’ve had my done for years so I know what I like andWhat can and can be done on my nails. I asked forThin coffin nails and got basically stiletto. I asked for a very very simple diamond pattern and the guy was unable to do it. I asked for him to smooth the edges of my nails so I didn’t scratch my grand babies and he would do it and said the polish would smooth the edges and IT DID NOT. The paint is streaking and has bubbles and they said that is what hell does (mind you I didn’t want gel to begin with). The pedi lasted maybe 15 minutes with left over dead skin on my toes and a sub par massage. I brought it to their attention and not even a discount since I didn’t have time for them to fix it. I don’t recommend this place unless Sara does your nails.

Love this nail spot. Tried the Dip Powder right before Christmas and just returned for another manicure and dip powder. Sarah and Vinnie are great. I highly recommend this salon. Hidden behind Sheri’s restaraunt in Federal Way Costco shopping area.

Average nail salon.. I have been three times but not coming back my pedicure was about 20 min or less and it wasn’t the basic pedicure I also asked for a manicure and lasted about the same time. The worst part is that I got infected with fungus in one of my toes and hasnt healed after more than a week .

Unknown to the nail artists at Sunshine Nails I’m fighting two major cancers and was feeling very down. When I came into the salon they were very friendly. It was my first time there. Cita did my nails. I’m very particular and asked her to do a few things to my nails that I felt needed done. She did them cheerfully and the end result was the best nail fill I’ve had since I moved here 4 years ago. My nails were beautiful. I wasn’t going to get a pedicure because I’m old n It seems they never seem to take the time to get all the callous’s, but I decided to get one. Van gave me the best pedicure I think I’ve ever had. I got the $45 one. I felt so pretty again I almost started crying. I would highly recommend this nail salon and I didn’t see any bad work done while I was there. Take it from a hairstylist, nail artist, esthetician I know what I’m talking about they are the best.

Sarah was amazing... she fixed my nails bc another salon had done them so poorly. She had to replace three nails and sand them down because they were so thick. She was THOROUGH and attentive, she listened to exactly what I wanted and made the suggestion to do one nail marble which looks amazing. It was a great price and I love my nails so much xo

Made an appointment for 5:15pm at 11:00am same day. Arrived 10 mins early and ended up waiting 15 mins later than my appointment time with still no one ready for our services. Not entirely sure what the point of booking appointments is if you’re not going to honor them.

Paid a total of $108 before a tip for a rushed through full set and delux pedicure, the most Ive ever spent on my nails and Ive been getting them done for years.Less than 24 hours and my gel polish had chipped on two of my acrylic nails and less than a week I had one break. My toe polish was also gel and started coming off in less than a week which never happens with toe polish which then I realized she never cleaned under my toe nails before applying polish as well as didnt paint the whole nails so the sides were showing. Dont reccomend going here unless you want to over pay for inexperienced people to work on you.

My 3rd time coming I walk in and ask for a color change on my hands and toes that’s it . I walked in at 5:15pm on a Saturday afternoon. And they told me to come back another day very rudely I always tip well , but I didn’t like how I was spoken to . And They close at 7pm and have about 6 people working there. Over priced to be in federal way . And rude wouldn’t recommend it ! And not to mention the other two times I went I was treated poorly
