Great place for family activities. The lap pool worked out great. The family pool with the lazy river was great fun for the kids. They have climbing, basketball, volleyball and an indoor track.

Well everything was great until they require masks in the stupidest places like in the pool and the hot tub . I just cancelled , I’ll come back when you are back to normal .

...so good so far ...friendly staff and all that, but adults (older females) in the locker room need to be told a thing or two about modesty. Our young daughters need not be seeing their naked bodies. Gross...?This is not about the staff. They are fantastic!

Kingdom Christian Center holds Christian church service at the FedWy Community Center on Sundays from 11am to 1pm, advancing the Kings kingdom as kids and kings of the KING of kings. A retired employee of the school district teaches KCC Childrens Church with weekly lesson, prayer, snack and both indoor & outdoor play areas.

No where on the website does it state you have to make a reservation to swim and every time I tried to call to ask if reservations were required no one answered the phone, I called multiple times the day of and the day before I came. Showed up today with my 9months old baby and was turned away with about every other family that walked in before/after me. Why would no one take the time to put on the website reservations are required to swim or at least answer the phones??

The pool is fantastic, staff is friendly and they have a ton of programs for kids! Dont forgot to ask about birthday parties and rental spaces!

Ive been to many events at the Federal Way community center it is a nice place with large rooms you can rent and cater different events. There is a pool thats you can pay to swim. There are activities you can sign up for. Its best to get a community center book that lists a lot of their classes and activities. The only thing that I miss is it would be great to have a playground right there but there is a park and around celebration Drive that is very close. If you have any questions you can call the community center the staff there are all very friendly facility is kept clean it is a very nice Community Center. There is also a coffee bar snack bar with tables in one section that is very comfortable there are benches in the hallway and a game room restrooms it is a very nice place for both children and adults.

I have to give it three stars because as I really like this place for all of its amenities I do not like that theyre making my job as a caregiver harder trying to tell me I cant do anything with my client unless its absolutely required. But when you have one client afraid to swim and one client thats legally blind but trains for the special Olympics Its kind of hard not to use things when literally I have to be right by their sides doing the same thing as they are or they have a panic attack. I understand their new rules because people take advantage of being able to go in as a care giver and just use everything for free thats not right makes it harder on people who actual job it is to caregiver, Also they use way too much chlorine in their pool I had a $45 bathing suit brand new and it one swim a completely bleach my bathing suit so beware of that if you have a nice suit dont wear it in their pools. Other wise I love this place they have an indoor padded track an elevator to get up to the gym for the disabled not able to climb the stair case they offer classes its awesome.

It would have been really nice to get some kind of warning when we were checking in that the KID pool was about to close for 30 minutes for “adult swim.” We got our kids all ready and in the pool, and 10 minutes later we had to get out and wait around until it re-opened. Not easy to do with little ones. Also one of the life guards made us on edge the whole time because he seemed to be just looking for any little reasons to yell at people. Very unfriendly person to be around kids. Not the fun family time we were looking for today.

Fun group exercise classes with engaging instructors. Nice kids pool. Friendly staff. Watch your teens closely on basketball court as play can get rough.

Inside water park!!! Water slide, lazy river, jacuzzi, water jungle gym.... You must sign a waiver, I take one with me and pre fill it to save time. You can host birthday parties and there is a room you can rent that sits inside the water park beside the water slide. This is a place for kids of all ages. I take my 8 year old here to swim and play while my 17 year old son goes down the hall to the gym to play basketball. Staff is usually really friendly. There is a gym to workout and I even believe an indoor running track. They also have a mini cafe or coffee stand to buy your favorite flavored coffees. Its only a few bucks a person to swim also. Good place to bring the kids

Federal Ways little hidden gem! We always have a great time here! I love the pool and gym area! Also enjoy getting out on the indoor track. They have lots of things to do here. Its well worth the drive!

Hello, I just want to say that if you feel like you want to do laundry just wear your clothes and go to this place.This facility should control the type of clothing you wear when you are in the water, also be considerate and take a shower before and after entering the pools.I was considering buying a year membership, but I changed my mind after I saw this and even worst when my whole family got a skin infection last week.What a coincidence We all play in Leisure pool and Lap pool.

Excellent Experience - Highly Recommend! Very professional staff, great selection of light, bright banquet rooms with large windows and very reasonably priced. We were impressed with both the building design, it is relatively new, and the cleanliness, including the bathrooms.The event staff met with us on a couple occasions to finalize details for the banquet room layout and were very prompt in all other communication during the planning process. On the day of the event everything happened as promised - many friends and family commented on how beautiful the venue was and how the event turned out. Thank you!

Love this community center! So full of positive energy, well maintained facilities, well trained instructors, offering a vast variety of classes from the early morning to late evening. Need accountability to get your workout in? This is the place to come! The instructors and peers remember your name and question where you have been if you miss a class. All in a genuinely caring way. Love the super hot sauna and steam rooms. Great place for kids of all ages. Love seeing the interaction among babies, kids, parents and our elders. Just a great place!

It has everything. An indoor lap pool, indoor leisure pool and lazy river with a decent sized water slide, spinning room, gym with a large variety of equipment including free weights, a large gymnasium with an upper level indoor track for running. The locker rooms are spacious and well equipped. And theres a climbing tower too. They have personal trainers, and free workout classes. Well worth its price.

I took my 3 children here to swim during open swim on a Saturday and Monday. Both days we went the womens locker room had globs of hair on the floor, the benches were dirty and wet from other people. I had to use one of our towels to clean an area so we could get dressed in a clean spot. The pool has cool features, however the water is too cold. Both days we went swimming and at different times, the water was extremely cold. After 20 mins of swimming my 1 and 3 year old had purple lips and were shaking from being so cold. I noticed many, MANY, other parents with young children complaining about how cold it was, and witnessed at least 10 kids under 5 shaking from being so cold and had purple lips. Many parents kept using the shower by the pool to warm their kids up. Even after my kids were dressed and dried off they still were shaking. I wont be back.

This place is awesome! The staff are wonderful and the amount of programs included in the membership is unbeatable. They have a great cardio and weight room as well as multiple rooms for group classes. The gym is massive offering the basketball courts and a track for running above the courts.The pool is great for laps and the kids pool is practically a water park.

Love the pool! Great for family fun and they even have a toddler time for very young kids that might be uncomfortable with how loud it can get. Membership rates are great but they also have a reasonable drop in rate. Great place for the entire family from babies to seniors.

Overall I was okay with it since we had a great group of people that we went with. Condition of the facilities amenities is soso.Its a neat little place that does require a coat or 2 of paint, the lifeguards were all very nice, one had a bad day or something but the others made up for it.

Me and my wife take our 3 year old here to go swimming. The pool is freaking amazing! It has a very interactive kids area, a big slide that is super fun for the bigger kids or the kid at heart and a lazy river! There is also a little cafe inside the center, pool tables, a sitting area with a nice fireplace!

This is a state of the art workout center. They had machines that I had never even seen anywhere else. One that caught my attention was something called Jacobs Ladder. Its really unique ladder climbing device, but I was told that unless you are in peak condition, its too much. I left that one alone, since I am not in that category! There are a number of pools -- one for swimming laps, a leisure pool, a stream loop, and more that I must explore. It has a rock climbing pinnacle, all kinds of ball sport courts, a walking course, and classes. Id like to try yoga, but the only thing offered is chair yoga, which I think might be too light for my tastes. Perhaps down the road there will be a more traditional yoga class offering that I can try, though. Overall, I feel grateful to live in a suburban city where there is such a magnificent community facility!

Mostly clean, safe place. If you are wanting to relax at all check the popular times for the place Google provides. Its accurate. Most peaceful time (no screaming children, no rude middle schoolers or grumpy elderly folks) is between 2 and 4.Towels available for a dollar but they are often sold out.

This has been a great place to take my kids to play when I need a break from the norm. Also my daughter take swim classes here. Always enjoyed what is available at this community center.

Recently had my childs birthday here. It was awesome. Love the salt water pool. Large slide, lazy river and kiddi pool with water spout and slide. Nice size party room. We looked into getting a membership while we were there and it was a great low rate for the whole family. Plus if you just want to come and take your kids swimming you cant beat 4$.

Pretty good facility but gets a little boring after going a lot although I do have a membership. The building is still fairly new but is showing signs of wear and dirtiness in a number of areas. The purple water slide has not been working for at least a month and nothing has been done. The pool can get quite busy and I would love to see an expansion on that.

First time coming here and we specifically came to this community center for the pool. Loved it and the kids had a lot of fun. However the pool felt kind of cold and could be a little warmer. we had two 2 year olds that were shivering after just 5 minutes of being in there. Also my 8 year old son had gone under the big water slide to come back to the 1 ft pool side and being an 8 year old he didnt read the sign of not going under there, one of the lifegaurd came by and chewed him out. i can see them and hear the lifegaurd yelling at him but couldnt make out what he was saying. my son comes to me and i go what did he say and while explaining he litteraly had to hold back his tears and didnt even want to play or swim anymore. I had to tell him its okay and not to go under there again. So please talk to your lifegaurds. if parents are nearby, please tell us to tell our kids instead of going off on them. It totally was a turn off. Not sure well be back but that was our time there last night.

Me and my family of 6 kids enjoy coming here .the only person tho who ever smiles and greets me when we come is the organic trainer guy which makes you feel welcome . the prices have gone up which sucks especially for a large family .

I will use any excuse to not exercise. Usually when I get here, I dont find one. Not too crowded usually, friendly staff, attentive life guards.

I went to the treat and trick event and unfortunately I felt discrimidatrd from one of the staff member. My child went to the stage to dance and she said with a rude Voice GET OUT. I could no believe what I heard and I went up to her and asked her, what did you say? And she said, “GET OUT” I was very disappointed at her and told my son to get down. This is 2018 and people like that should be WORKING IN A COMMUNITY CENTER. I will definitely NEVER GO BACK

The pool is clean and depending on when you, there are usually 3 lanes open for lap swim. The gym has fairly modern equipment and isnt too crowded. There are also a few basketball courts but the basketballs that you can check out are pretty old.

LOVE the inclusion programs and Special Olympics sports based/managed out of FWCC! So exciting to finally have place for my family to belong.

This place has great amenities but some terrible employees. I have certainly spent over a 1000 dollars sending my daughter to programs here. The day before the last of my daughters summer camp, this employee (not my daughters teacher, but one for the older children) fines me for being late by 9 minutes, she just tells me I have to pay before she can return for her last day and turns around and walks off, no explanation or conversation. Completely rude. Since I had no idea there was late fines and it was not even stated in the papers I signed for Fireflies summer camp, my boyfriend went to confront the woman in charge about this fine we didnt know existed and the employees rude conduct. Instead of discussing any of it, she just said if we did not want to pay it and discontinue here with our daughter, she was sending it to collections. So we came back to pay this 9 bucks to wash our hands clean of the whole situation and then she writes us up ANOTHER 85 dollars for a week we did not sign up for and were gone on a camping trip during!! Just unbelievable! My daughter has been to daycare before and fines NEED to be stated in the signed paperwork. The front desk lady was amazing though and so were her teachers

Wow, what a great facility! Wonderful pool for kids, with slides and water features; wonderful hot tubs for adults, steam room, dry sauna, full size lap pool, meeting rooms, workout facilities with weights, full basketball court, and more, including child care and a small café! Best community center Ive ever been in.

Its very affordable and you get a lot more out of it than you pay for. Its my weekly ritual to swim and sauna there every Saturday. Its always a great experience with a quality facility.

We have been members here for years (since the first year it opened). Our whole family has come here for workout classes, swim lessons, and for PT after injuries. The equipment is usually in working order and there is a variety to chose from. The track is small, but on a nice day, you can walk or run in the park beside the center. Staff is friendly and helpful.

While the community center has a lot to offer. It still offers no break to low income for yearly membership. Also this not a bright decision to have just one person in charge of Renting the Hall and setting dates and times for it. You wait quite a while while trying to find out if you can or can not have the Hall for a certain day and time . Its not that difficult to set times and dates for in the Hall. And it management and the person that is in charge the areas Are not capable having more than one person setting times and dates for written the Hall they should step down and give their jobs to someone that could do it

Love this place. Swimming lessons, rock wall climbing, gym, fitness classes, sauna, has it all. Cost to get in for non members is alittle high. Other than that, a great place to be

Beautiful facility, pool (separate lap pool, kiddie pool, and jacuzzi tub), sauna, gym (workout equipment, exercise machines), and they offer active classes too.

Took my daughter to open swim, the locker room was less than hygienic and the pool was down right dirty. The play center was completely rusted in parts, the tiles were grimy and even green in some places. Then the water pressure on the kids park was so high my daughter had to close her eyes and kept walking into the metal poles, not safe. Not worth the money for a day pass, especially since you have to pay for a child and adult even if youre only there to follow your child.

Great price for a workout gym, pool, sauna, basketball gym, etc. Worth every penny of the 20 dollars I pay every month for a membership!

I worked with Susan Freeburg to plan a Celebration of Life event for my uncle who passed away at 48 yrs old. This was not an easy or fun thing to do. Susan was easy to contact during planning, very knowledgeable during the whole process in helping me decide on room layout, appropriate # of tables, chairs, etc. She always answered my questions via phone or email promptly and I felt confident the event would turn out great working with her. The day of our event the room was setup exactly like Susan and I had discussed and our celebration turned out wonderful. I would rent a banquet room from the FW Community Center in a heartbeat if the need ever arose again. Thank you Susan, and staff, for helping to make our celebration memorable (and for dealing with some of our emotional and intoxicated guests cordially).

Never had any problems here honestly, i go on my days off early in the mornings start off with 3 to 4 mile jog, usually not to busy sometimes older people in the way on the track because they dont read the sighns on the walls but whatever just dodge them. Then i lift weights, shower and then go for a quick swim then shower again you end up smelling like chlorine no matter what because they got to use alot because people dont shower or they use the restroom in the pools but thats whatd you expect i guess nothing anyone can do but teach their kids to get out of the pool. Super clean environment, its weird seeing naked old men in the locker room something ill never get use to. I wish there was younger people to run with :( have a good day.

Picked on us the whole time we were there to work out. 2 cones on the gym floor to shoot hoops and it was an issue without the gym even being close to full with open hoops everywhere. Told my boys they couldnt use the ROPES, but the MACHINE weights were ok? They were really splitting hairs and it felt like cause of our color. Felt like we were in a Trump ran facility rather than a place of peace to work out with family.

Went to Best of Federal Way get together. Even won $25 gift cert. To Billy McHales...

We went specifically for the pool. Kiddos 5 & 8... Id say it was just okay. Nothing special.A bit overcrowded.TONS of chlorine in the pool (seriously, my legs felt like they were burning).Wed probably go back on a cold, winters day - but Id probably choose a different spot if I wanted to drive a bit further.

I use the aquatics part of the facility mostly. But the facility has something for everyone (including: 4 family changing/shower cabanas and oversized lickers for families too).

Love it here. The workers are nice. The teachers are great and welcoming to first timers.

Its a great place, but you can see that they have never clean the play equipment in the recreational swimming pool it has residue of Clorox and rust.

Great facility however the cleanliness is getting worse by the month. The womens locker room has hair all over the floor even first thing in the morning. Disgusting.

Love this place. Cant beat the price for all the amenities. Be sure to pick up a calendar or schedule of classes, as they do change almost daily. Parent and tot time in the leisure pool area is meant more for littles under a year old who dont enjoy getting splashed in the face with water.

Really good place to take your kids and have them to have fun time. The only thing is confusing about pool schedule. You have to call every time and ask what time it opens . it has its own schedule. If the building is open it doesnt mean you will be able to go and swim with your kids.

Lets play table tennis here.I found many good players here.

The pool is nice and big, but I dont understand the parent and tot swim. I brought my one and a half year old to swim, and was told we had to stay in the kiddy area of the leisure pool, which is like one foot of water, because there was a class going on in the rest of the pool. That would have been okay, but the play equipment in the kiddy pool wasnt even turned on. So we pretty much had to just sit there in one foot of water. It was lame, and if they are going to put parent and tot swim on the schedule they should make sure we can actually swim. Otherwise I enjoy the facilities, the climbing wall is fun, and I love the indoor track.
