To begin with the customer service was awesome, very polite and informative. They communicate effectively throughout your repair process. After service is done they verify with the customer personal to ensure that everything is working and what you expected before leaving. Definitely would recommend !

I took my alienware laptop to get my keyboard fixed after i was recommended them by a friend of mine. So i took the laptop in, to which they gave me a 3 - 5 day timeframe. it took more than a week for them to get the pricing, which costs around $300 or so. After i gave them the go ahead, weeks passed by with no progress, claiming that it was because of covid affecting the post office. Then they later changed the story to that the parts are coming from China. They had also lied about passing that information to my parents since my mother denied that this place contacted her. After a while they gave me back my laptop because they received the wrong parts. After i got it back, certain keys do not respond, and my w key has not been replaced. After i called they said that the new parts have not arrived. Overall, my laptop had not changed since i took it to Monster Computers. The only thing they did was clean the keyboard and install an antivirus, which i did not want since i already had windows defender. Bottom line, this business has not helped to fix any problems and feels more like a scam. its best to take your business somewhere else.(i am writing this review with the same laptop, with the same broken keys, so my grammar or capitalization may seem off)

The customer service is great but I just cannot give 5 stars because of how predatory this shop felt. Paid 155$(135 originally but they charge extra if paying with card..?) for a diagnostics test to figure out that power supply was bad after having a power surge. Then told me it would be over 300$ to replace it when the part is half that price. Maybe its just Yadkin road in general that shops can just charge whatever price they feel for goods and services because they assume youre military and made of money... not sure.

The staff was very professional and helpful. They changed a bad laptop battery and even updated the system for me. I would highly recommend them if youre having computer problems!

While in Fayetteville over the weekend I visited this computer shop with My siblings. She drop off a computer and a tablet. Theyre super friendly and have great customer service. Were still waiting on the service but they told my sibling that they would call her with the verdict and let her know what the best options are for her. Nice & friendly. They have a owner with a green thumb. Many beautiful plants 🪴in the shop. They ever give us a good sprout to start us a plant ourselves. Extraordinary nice people 👌.

Awesome place! Had a power supply issue that I thought bricked my computer, but after dropping it off, I received a call within a few hours telling me it was just the power supply that was bad, I dropped off a new one shortly after, and picked up my computer the next day. Staff was respectful, helpful, and even gave me my computer back with better cable management than I had done. I would recommend this shop to anyone, and will be returning for ANY computer needs I may have.Please, give these people a call before anyone else. Theyre amazing.

I had broken the hinge on my computer and I freaked out. I called Monster computers and Robyn told me to bring it over.They did an amazing job on fixing it so I could have it back. Its just like new. AMAZING people! Not many of these kinds of businesses exist anymore. I was traveling and did not have the power cord for my laptop. I called in a panic and George walked through what they had and it sounded like a match. I headed over, the cord they had would have worked for the docking station, but not laptop. Tiffany had a cord that would charge the battery tho and was willing to loan it to me for the day. Tiffany and Rob went WAY beyond being understanding and helpful! They truly saved the day! In my experience some places dont take the time to explain whats wrong or help troubleshoot your computer, but not Monster Computer. Robin in particular was amazing, calling me with updates on my laptop and explaining exactly what was needed to fox it and answering all of my questions. 100% recommend. Monster Computers is not only conveniently located right outside of post, but they were incredibly helpful, friendly and have awesome deals for military members. My laptop was cleaned in a very timely matter and George gave me additional advice on how to make my machine run better and last longer. I definitely recommend this shop for your computer needs!

This business tried scamming me for $465. I dropped my laptop a few months ago which caused it to stop displaying video. I brought it here first because of the seemingly good reviews. When I brought it in they said they would have it looked at and the problem diagnosed within a day or two. I received a call from them 3 days later, and was informed thatthe laptop needed a screen replacement which would cost $400 for a new screen and $65 for labor. I initially told them I would pay for the repair, but $465 sounded wrong to me. So I looked up how much a new screen for my laptop would cost. Surprisingly enough a new screen was $140 at most. I immediately called them back and told them that I did not want them to do the repair. I then took my laptop to a different repair shop, and the gentleman there showed me within 15 minutes that there was in fact nothing broken in my laptop. The screen connector just needed to be put back in place. Im writing this review from that laptop and its completely fine now. I almost paid Monster Computer $465 for essentially nothing. I advise anyone in the area to take your business elsewhere.

Recently came to the conclusion my PC build was outdated.. new TV forced my hand and after a few choices I found Monster Computers on Yadkin rd. Was ready to drop 500 on a new build but turns out they had a better cheaper option for me. Week later the new build is great, its holding up great. Suits my needs very well. They were busy with work the day I came in but still were very attentive to my needs. Extremely polite and generous. AAA+. Only fault I could find was that they need another technician in back to take the stress off of their main one.Other than that top notch work from those folks, so go give them a look!

Had a razer blade laptop that I brought back from deployment that had fan and battery issues. They fixed it a timely maner for a decent price and kept me updated when they called. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Also military get free access to their tools for diy fixes if you need to do something yourself.

Robyn was the service representative to help and guide me. She gave me a quick response in regards to the issue my laptop was having. She was able to throughly explain and help me understand what my money would go towards and part variation. I would highly recommend that you go there and ask for her.

Got the Deployment Special which is great and then went back for a re-thermal. After deployment, my laptop had a lot of dust built-up and the fans would run loud and hot. I called them because I PCS soon and needed my computer done a little quicker, and they had it done the next day! Great service, friendly, and awesome!

Took my computer in because it was overheating. They put it in a new CPU which cost me around $500. Brought it home it was still overheating. I called them and they said to bring it back in and they would put in a coolingfan. when I took it in to have the cooling fan put in, I called ahead they said bring it in and when I got there they were closed. Now its been a month or so and have not had a chance to take it back because of the holidays. waste of time waste of money I should have gone somewhere that knew what they were doing

Very nice staff. They were very helpful and kind. Which makes this hard to give them a one star. But they do not have an understanding of their ordering system. 3-5 day job ended up taking one month. They received wrong parts which took the job longer. I called once during the repair process and was briefed a covid conspiracy with the USPS. Completely unprofessional. I recommend using a different computer repair shop.

Brought my MacBook Pro in on a Friday morning because it was running super slow for months. They diagnosed it right away, (I was running Catalina OS but it’s an old computer so it can’t run an OS higher than High Sierra). They uninstalled the newest OS and installed High Sierra. Funny how Apple doesn’t tell you that you shouldn’t keep updating your OS on older computers. But the price was great and my computer is working great!

Mainly dealt with ms Tiffany, honestly can’t rave enough about the customer service! Professional, knowledgeable and just plain nice! And to top it off the work on my rig was superb. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone for all computer needs!

Went to Monster based on all the positive reviews. It is also close to Fort Bragg, which made it the most convenient option for me. I just brought my Windows laptop that I use for work and they were able to clean it up so that its working faster. They also gave it the deployment special so that I can access Army Web sites without unnecessary hassle. Will definitely go back if other services are needed.

Rob and Tiffany are wonderful they are professional and make you feel like you are the most important customer they have. They are honest and extremely reasonable in what they charge for their services and the turn around time is super quick. You could not find a better place to do your computer work.

Had just come back from overseas with a laptop that was showing serious issues and wear, I turned it in to Robin at Monster Computers to find out just how bad the extent of the damage was. Over two weeks he and his staff worked very hard to clean all malware, replace a faulty wireless chip and ram stick, in addition to troubleshooting issues with my motherboard. In the end he returned my laptop to me as if it were brand new, with all the necessary certificates and scripts which allow me to log in to my work from home. Best of all, he only charged me for a fraction of the total cost, apologizing for how long it took to repair which considering how many issues there was is really remarkable. I can’t recommend this store and it’s staff enough. For all future issues and questions with any phone or computers they are my go to location.

Brought my laptop in for suspected water damage the folks here quickly took my laptop in and gave me an expected date it should be diagnosed and fixed, the gentleman repairing the pc kept me updated over the next two days over the phone on the process and was cordial throughout. thankfully little to no damage was found and i was able to pick my pc up two days later all the employees were friendly every time i went into the shop and i’m thankful for the fast and friendly service

Went in for a 2011 iMac update and Robin (spelling?) was amazing. The iMac was running smoothly and could run my software. She was very honest about the computers capabilities and what I could and could not do.

Definitely a good local place for computer and laptop repairs, along with friendly staff who can help with nearly anything.

Monster computers went above and beyond. They came to my home and fixed my computers. I am elderly and dragging multiple towers down two flights of stairs would have been both dangerous and impractical. I called numerous companies and everyone wanted me to bring my computers to the shop. Tiffany and her husband came to my home and did a superb job. Her husband was kind enough to take out some trash for me. I cannot say enough about this company. I am very impressed. My computers work great. This shop ROCKS! The owner and employees are the best kind of people. I brought my custom build in because I was running into problems left and right.( Im a rookie to PC building, was my first one.) Had my laptop screen replaced and a new OS installed. Its working great and I am very pleased with the service. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a bit of miscommunication and I had to call several times. Other than that they were awesome and I loved the little freebies they gave me!
