Michael is simply great. My ex falsely accused me of many things, was being unreasonable and very demanding. Michael was very responsive and on top of things. He stuck to the point and knew what he was doing. He was very professional and took the time to talk to me about the case and my concerns every step of the way. His advise was spot on and he explained how things will work out and the expectations beautifully. He was firm with the opposition and provided the right line in the sand when needed. When my ex refused to follow the JOD and court orders, he followed up with all the necessary actions to ensure that my rights are honored. I would recommend Michael to any one for family law issues in a heart beat. Just be honest and upfront with him.

Michael Cutler handled my case with care and confidence. He was always available by phone or email for any questions that I had and never charged me for brief conversations. He always kept me informed with updates regarding my case. He is very experienced in family disputes and provided me guidance with how to handle situations relating to my ex and our children. I had never been divorced before, and this was my first time in the court system. Michael kept me informed of the process and what to expect throughout my entire case. His fees are very reasonable based on the other attorneys I interviewed. If you are looking for a good attorney, I would recommend Michael Cutler.

My divorce was settled over 3 years ago. At first, I thought it wasnt fair, mostly because any man in Wayne County is going to be treated unfairly, in my opinion. Now, Ive come to the realization that what Michael actually worked out for me was actually in my favor, especially after talking to other men that were recently divorced. Michael is an extremely competent lawyer, and is truly out for your best interests.

I made the mistake of hiring a large firm and wasting a lot of money for nothing gained before coming to Michael Cutler. Michael took up my case and worked hard by continuing to fight for my rights as a father. The courts seem to be vary bias against men and kept trying to deny me more parenting time even though my ex was the one with a record! Mr. Cutler was able to remain motivated on my long drawn out divorce and in the end able to get me more time with my kids and a deal that allowed me to move forward with my life. I cant thank him enough for all his time and effort he put in and would recommend him to anyone.

Michael is an exceptional lawyer who blends the knowledge and professionalism you need with the care you want. Going through a divorce is never easy, but Michael helped me navigate through difficult waters and keep the process on track. When the opposing side wanted to add complexity to the process he worked with opposition counsel and helped me reach out to my (now) ex-wife and communicate with her more productively. The final settlement was a fair was without wasted time, money, and energy. Thank you, Michael.

I had a very compilated divorce in Oakland County and hired a very well known and high powered attorney. As it turned out, the lawyer was more interested in building fees than fighting for the best outcome for me. I was referred to Michael Cutler by my business attorney and it turned out to be the best thing that could have ever happened. Mike was reasonable with his fees and it was obvious that he worked as efficiently as possible. His intelligent approach to my case resulted in an outstanding result and my bills were very reasonable. The best thing about Mike is that while he worked really hard to protect me, he was also thoughtful of my kids and protected them as well. I really appreciated how he thought of all of us in everything he did on my behalf. Another thing I really appreciated about Mike is that he was treated with respect in court and everyone said hello to him while we walked through the courthouse halls. This showed me that he had a ton of experience and was respected by his peers. If I ever had a legal issue in the future, there is no one that I would call or trust other than Mike Cutler.

Ive owned a Remodeling Company for forty-five years. Thirty of which Ive known Michael, and who has been my legal council. On occasion, I have needed his services to protect my reputation and right the wrongs, that unscrupulous of clients of mine, have attempted to inflict upon my company. I can think of no better attorney than Michael Cutler, to represent, on my behalf. Its a good feeling for me, to be on the winning side of the equation.

Do not recommend him!He charged me $3000 in the beginning for looking over the documents, almost all of that was gone before we even went to court. He is well experienced but he lacks the motivation/ passion to actually work for you.(maybe unless you have deep pockets!!!- my opinion)I got charged for a phone call that a third party (Louise Braun -by the way, stay away from her) made to him on an issue that was created by her, and him recommending her! He voided the charged and charged me the same amount for the phone call to dispute the charge !He voided a few small charges, after complaining, but charged me all the things under the sun that he could. If you are on a budget stay away from him!PS: my opinion is that he knows most of his stuff but lacks motivation, and it could be worse than him !His answer is exactly what I am talking about - he is confusing my case with someones else case because he does not care.He did some good things for me but also showed lack of interest too (did not show up to a hearing that he should have, not telling me the whole story, in a few occasions) but he is 100% confusing my case !

I highly recommend Mr. Cutler to anyone in need of legal services. He is very prompt with return calls which I like best because attorneys are usually hard to contact. He took the time to meet with me on weekends and evenings and he fought for my interest throughout my case. He explained the process to me and what I should expect. He was very familiar with the family courts.

Michael is a great lawyer and got a result on my case that was better than expected. I was impressed by the fact that he always returned calls and emails and was patient with me even when I asked questions that were probably repetitive. He handled my ex-wifes attorney like a maestro conducting an orchestra. Needless to say, I was very impressed and that is not easy to do. Im very thankful I found Michael and think very highly of him and his staff.

If I could vote zero, I would. Mr. Cutler took my $3,000 deposit and before I ever stepped foot in a court room, it was gone. This was not because I had a difficult case or that Mr. Cutler did a lot of work on my case but rather because he charged for every little thing (he even charged for stamps for any letter that left his office on my behalf). I did not receive advice or phone calls to keep me updated with what was happening with my case unless I initiated. So I called him and when he returned my call, I was billed at $300/hr. If he dictated a letter for my case (some were form letters that just required a name change) it was never less than $50. That was my MINIMUM charge and I was charged for a stamp on top of that. His emails, same thing. Then he wasted money on some correspondence with my exs attorney that I knew nothing about. Had I been consulted, I would have taken care of it myself. His apathy and greed ended up costing me so much, I now get distressed every time I think about it! I cannot go into that because I have to stick to facts on a public forum or it could be considered slander. In conclusion, I wish I had read some of these negative reviews before I hired him and that is the reason I am writing this one. Maybe I can save someone from making the same mistake that I did when I hired him.

Unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with the service that I received. I was charged 162 dollars for Mr. Cutler to write and mail out 2 letters that were a change of date for a motion. He changed the date because the original date that he scheduled didn’t work for him. After the motion I was charged 135 for a letter about what the order that was placed said... I was there. I also had a copy of the order. Unfortunately, the end game was I had to get a different attorney to fix the mess Mr. Cutler made. I made a poor decision signing a contract with Mr. Cutler.

A hack with bills to pay. Ive worked with several attorneys on cases from traffic tickets to lawsuits with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line and they have all been honest hard working people - until now. This guy is just trying to line his pockets as fast as he can.Foolishly, I hired this guy to review a simple contract. He charged me thousands of dollars and clearly never even looked at it. I had to find all of the errors and omissions myself. He didnt even notice that the contract we were reviewing had some other persons name on it on the very first line (not mine!).If you need a good attorney, always get a referral.

Michael Cutler and his staff went above and beyond with my case. I had been with 3 attorneys before being referred to him. After all the hard work they did I actually offered to pay more for his services than I was billed. Highly recommend!!!

It seems Michael Cutler started out his career being a lawyer that really cared about his clients, but now it seems hes more concerned about billing his clients, such as multiple $40 charges for reading an email his client sends him just to name a few. Watch your pocket book with this guy.....
