They are fair and honest and not afraid to admit that they might not know what the problem is but are willing to persevere until the matter is resolved.They also understand the needs of those on a fixed or limited budget and are willing to prioritize repairs so the urgent needs are met first. They also recognize the need for service or repairs based on what the vehicle is used for. In my case I have a vehicle that is used as a spare and in case it is needed for a specific purpose. They will tell you that based on that situation certain things just dont need to be fixed and they are correct.My wife and I have never come away from Village European Auto disappointed by anything we have experienced there. I trust them enough to send my wife there alone with her car and have absolutely no reservation about what they will recommend or do and what it will cost. If you call ahead of time, the owner will literally do what he can to diagnose issues over the phone so you can make an informed decision whether you want to take care of it yourself or bring it in. Even when you bring it in, if its an easy fix, he will let you know again ways to save. They put customer satisfaction and loyalty ahead of the bottom line which is why they are always busy.Dont take your vehicle to BMW, Land Rover, etc. Take it here.

Greg, the owner, is by far the best mechanic I have ever used. Although they specialize in european autos, Greg and his mechanics can handle just about any car or truck on the road today. They are honest and complete in their vehicle assessment when I have had to use them. When it comes to knowldge and service, Greg and his staff is second to none. For the last 20 years I have done almost all my own repairs and regular servicing on my personal vechicles. However if I am unable to do it because I lack the skill or proper tools, Village European Auto are the only ones I trust. One final note. I personally know a church pastor in Oceanside who is sometimes asked by members of his fellowship to help monetarily with repair bills. When he gives them help, it is conditional that they see Greg at Village European Auto. He does this because he knowsthe repair will be fixed right, and the cost reasonable. That should tell you a little about Gregs integrity.
