I spent about 2 months applying for a variety of jobs on my own, via various job boards. Within a day of applying at a job linked through Express, Ryan Evans reached out for a little bit more information and to get me set up with an interview. When I wasnt selected for that job, he had another one waiting for me to try out. Ive now been working at Progress Rail for 3 weeks so far, its a great fit.

Just have to start off by saying this is why more then a temp service. They treat you with the upmost respect and are very professional. Shout out to ryan for being such a good person and recruiter. Poorly ran agency and they lack professionalism as well as decent communication skills...I am registered with multiple of their locations and have been for several years yet I have never been placed by any of them. They want you to call them weekly, but never call back to even touch base with you, the website is never updated and lead clients to believe jobs are availible when they are not. As for the receptionist they are all rude, uneducated and need to be trained on how to deal with people. I guess I will continue job hunting on my own.

I don’t know if people are really reading these reviews or not but it’s worth a shot. First let me start by saying this particular location comes off as very racist. I went in seeking help from this agency and never received any help at all. If you’re black they will not return your phone calls and will be very rude to you. I thought the purpose of temp services were to hire people who have a passion for helping people from all walks of life. This is the worst agency ever and I don’t recommend them. I am actually in the process of reporting this location and its employees.

I have had great success with Express finding me placement that has both matched my credentials as well as within my desired benefit and expectancy. They have been able to locate assignments in my locale and done so quickly.

If I could, I would rate this place lower than ONE star. When my partner got a job through this joke of a company, they offered her $16/hour for fork lifting, a reasonable amount for DAYS 7am to 3pm. Allison failed to mention that that they did SWING shifts and the SWING shifts started within two weeks of her getting hired. Five weeks of 7am to 3pm shifts, five weeks of 11pm to 7am shifts, five weeks of 3pm to 11pm shifts, REPEAT. Then when my partner asked for a shift differential, Allison gave her TEN CENTS!! TEN CENTS??? REALLY??? Thats an embarrassment. My partner will be calling corporate and she will be looking elsewhere for employment.

I moved to Illinois at the begining of july. By mid-mmid-month Ryan had several options for me to chose from. A couple of them wernt a good fit for me but he stayed on top of things. Between jobs i didnt have more then a couple days off work. After 3 tries he found me an amazing job doing the stuff i love. This is a guy that works hard for the hard working man. The secretary here is similar to one of those college professors who talks to you as if youll fail out of college if you dont pass his class with flying colors. I was vetted and judged before I even had a chance. We set up an appointment, was then called and told the appointment would now be a phone interview, and then a call never came. I called back and was told a rep would contact me shortly and she never did. Pretty unprofessional for such an egotistical establishment.

They dont even deserve a star they are rude and very unhelpful, and allison or how ever you spell her name likes talk to people like they are stupid and dont like to understand people have kids that have health problems.
