Absolutely beautiful place for a wedding reception. Country Classy is the best description i can give. My wife said make sure and bring a pair of flats cause the floor is made of bark.

Oak Hollow hosted the rehearsal dinner before my son’s wedding. They were very helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. The venue was spacious and perfect for our event. All of the food that was prepared for us was outstanding! The fried chicken and fried oysters are two, do not miss on the menu. For your next event, call Oak Hollow!!

We participated in the Ecumenical Ministries Chili Cook Off at the venue. It was nice spacious and a great place to hold some community events there.

This family is amazing. We went through so much to have the wedding of our dreams. From postponing due to Covid to seeing the venue devastated by Hurricane Sally. They worked night and day to get everything up and running for us. The views are gorgeous and the food is delicious. If you are considering this place for your venue, whatever the occasion, DO IT!!! Thank you for all y’all did for us!!

I cannot thank Oak Hollow Farm enough for all of their hard work to make this wedding happen! I coordinated a wedding that was re-scheduled due to COVID and the new date was the weekend after Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast. Not only were they helpful in changing the date, but their owners and staff went ABOVE and BEYOND anything I have ever seen. After Hurricane Sally, they literally did not have power at their own homes, trees were down everywhere you looked and some had no water or working vehicles...but they still committed all of their time to Hunter and Olivia to make their dream wedding happen. How many businesses do you know that would do that? The day after the storm, they were on the grounds picking up debris and cutting up trees. They cooked reception food with a generator, ran a generator with power strips for doing hair and makeup in the bridal suite, set everything up in the all-day rain, dealt with NO CELL PHONE SERVICE and managed all the hiccups along the way. Marva Dean was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. She was available for every phone call, every meeting and answered all emails promptly. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or event!

Hosted Alan Jacksons Drive In show. Plenty of restrooms and sanitation stands. Grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly. Will do this again. Had a great time!

Went to the Alan Jackson concert. This my first time at this facility. It is beautiful! The grounds were clean and well kept.

We had a great horseback riding day with our granddaughters, daughter and son-in-law. Our trail guides were sweet ladies.

My daughter and I went for a trail ride here. The guides were super nice and helpful. The ride was way longer than I expected and went through a hilly forest, which was delightful. The horses were approachable and well suited for my daughter, who is a beginner. This farm is absolutely beautiful and kept extremely neat and clean. We started out at the event venue, which was gorgeous, and had a fun hay ride to and from the stable. The price was very reasonable, too. I highly recommend you visit Oak Hollow Farm when in the area.

Beautiful place for any occasion. I visited for a wedding. The barn was set up beautifully. Lots of space to dance, socialize and move around. Theres a porch with seats that wraps around so you steps outside and get some fresh country air. The cabanas are nice and comfortable. There are a few convenience stores nearby in case you need drinks for your cabana.

So beautiful! What a different experience from the typical cookie cutter wedding venues. Wont find a place like this in CT :)

Great atmosphere that can probably fit any event. Been to three different events here and all have been great.

This place is so beautiful. They do weddings and special events. They have LOTS of horses for horseback riding trips for groups. The food is very good. The people who run the place are super nice. They have games and rope swings set up to keep kids occupied. Best field trip i have ever been on with my sons school!

What a beautifully maintained property! Went horseback riding with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. What a great ride, great horse and even greater guides. Those girls ran the show , wonderful experience. Thank you all!

I tried to get in touch with someone for months for wedding pricing and information. When I finally got in touch with Marva Dean Little after calling at least 10 times, I made an appointment with her to come see the venue. I drove from Miami, Fl to see the venue; I confirmed the appointment that morning and called her when I was on my way. I arrived and she wasn’t there. I called, texted, and emailed her with no response. She never called back or apologized or anything. We proceeded to look around ourselves; the pictures of the farm are definitely deceiving. There is no farm. The barn is beautiful, but of course I wasn’t able to see inside because no one showed up for my appt. The area advertised with the beautiful oak trees is average, and you’d have to walk through dirt and mud in your wedding dress to get there. There is also boat storage just beside the ceremony area and junk everywhere; my mother in law asked if they were having a yard sale because it was a mess. I would have loved having my wedding here from the looks of the pictures; unfortunately was never able to see the potential because the communication was HORRIBLE.

We brought our four children, ages 3-9, to go horseback riding and had a great time!! The staff was so accommodating and helpful!! One of our daughters was very scared to go and they went out of their way to put her at ease!! All the horses were very well trained and extremely friendly!

Every time I have been to Oak Hollow I have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the grounds are well maintained, and the oak trees are always absolutely breathtaking.I am shocked and saddened to see that some individuals would actually write negative reviews about Oak Hollow Farm because of their ethical and moral business practices.It is comforting to know Oak Hollow does not discriminate against anyone wanting to have an event there. No matter what kind of event YOU have in mind, EVERYONE is treated the same. Thank You!

Laid back type of a place. Rustic but comfortable. Love it all.

In my life experience, Oak Hallow has always been a great place. My children attend camp and I have never felt as if they were anything but safe. I appreciate businesses that Book events equally among customers.

They refused my service animal. Really need to better versed on policy for service dogs. NOT an emotional support but service.

Went here while visiting gulf shores for vacation. Kids enjoyed riding the horses on the trails. Main meeting room. Was cool also.

Took couple stars off because the two girls got my money price wrong and I waited about 1hr and 30min on someone to come and then horseback ride but also very fun and horses are pretty skinny.

Interesting place. If its your style, kinda fancy country, it is great.

They were hosting a child petting zoo with Roy Moore. I brought my child there to pet the ponies but they said the ponies were in the back barn and that is was children only. Little Timmy really wanted to see the ponies so I let him go on his own. When he came back he said there were no ponies but a nice old man with a big cowboy hat let him sit on his lap and played tickle with him. Overall he said it wasnt fun and he didnt want to go back so I am giving this 1 star as there should have been ponies for a petting zoo.

Went as a family for a trail ride, guides were very helpful, we went with a great group and it was beautiful. The barn was decorated for a winter wedding and was gorgeous.

Really nice employees is all i can really say about this place. We went at noon and the poor horses were so tired that they were stumbling and trembling from what i can only asume is exhaustion. Some of the horses looked to be under weight (could see ribs and hip bones clearly). Not to mention the saddle on mine and my childs horses were loose and moved. Really think it would be better to spend the 35.00 per person and time doing the many other activities in the area.

Does not have adequate wheelchair accessibility. My friend and coworker almost crashed and fell out of his seat because of a small 2 to 3 dropoff. Has a dirt/mulch floor so a wheelchair doesnt get around well at all.

Hosted our Christmas party and the food, atmosphere and service were out of this world.

Extremely disappointed in the service here. I called one afternoon trying to schedule a horseback riding lesson a few weekends ahead for our 2nd anniversary and was told to call again the next morning with the words I promise we will have a slot for you on that date. The next morning I called as I was instructed to do and was told that they were not accepting any horseback riding bookings for the entire weekend due to Mardi Gras. We were only going to be in town for the weekend, so I was disappointed, but I understood. I called a few days later with plans to ask about what the facility hours would be for the week before and after our trip - we were considering changing our trip to come early or leave later if needed. At that time I was told, Oh yes, weve decided we can do horseback riding on Saturday! (The original day I wanted.) I ended up scheduling for Monday, which I was assured would work fine as well, since we had made plans for Saturday morning. At that time, I was just thankful that I had thought to call again, or I would have never known that we could come after all.Monday morning, the day of our ride, I get a call 20 minutes before we planned to leave for the farm, saying that theres no way they can do a ride today. We could have come any other day that weekend if that would have worked better.Its understandable that they may not have been able to book horse-back rides for the weekend of Mardi Gras. I get it. I just wish they had been consistent in this... or given me more than 20 minutes notice of a cancellation on the day we were supposed to come. We might have been able to rearrange our schedule to come on a better day. Very sad we wont be able to go. ): Id really been looking forward to it.We were offered a gift certificate, but Im not sure well be planning on coming back anytime soon.
