Fairhaven Lumber has ALWAYS been there for me! When 2020 put the box store on their heels, Fairhaven Lumber was there, open, and working with their customers to get their home improvement needs provided for. Ive been a customer for about 40 years; and they havent failed me yet.

Wanted 3/8 plywood. Needed it to be cut a few times .. they charged me$15 to cut .. I had given them a diagram. With measurements. I even told them to cut this piece last to compensate for blade thickness... And I didnt need the Iast 27s. What they do .. they cut the 27 inch first!!! And they used a hand saw. Nothing was cut the width I needed and all was no straight cuts!!! Everything was a half inch to one inch off. And I needed straight square cuts . And pricey

Ordered a delivery of lumber. Half the lumber is poor quality with plenty of knots, cracks, and various differences in dimensional sizes. Half of the PT lumber is old. I could get just as bad quality lumber at Lowes or Home Depot. Moved to the area 6 months ago. Guess I still need to find a lumber yard.

Friendly and reputable, they always have what I need in stock, is rather support a local business like this than shop at the big box stores. Last time I needed piece of wood a very specific size, I dont have the equipment at home to cut it myself, the did it for free. Great group of people. A well run, customer focused business.

Fairhaven lumber is showing itself to be a scab company ,after giving employees their word that they would not cross the picket line at allegheny flat rolled products they did so this morning 8/20/15this shows what kind of backbone they have SCABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
