I had to go to physical therapy on my hand and Maureen was my therapist. She is awesome! Very knowledgeable and very personable. Today was my last appointment and she made sure that I knew exactly what I needed to do to continue to get my hand better. My hand is not completely better but it is much better off now than when I started. Thank you Maureen. I appreciate you!

Super clean, and plenty of options for your workout to prevent boredom. Did a personal training orientation where posture and form was assessed and recommendations made to target the areas she saw an issue with, followed by very clear, concise instruction on use of the fitness equipment, along with great tips to get the most out of a safe workout. Looking forward to trying some classes next!

Easy to find. Staff were very helpful prior to my appointment. Actual appointment was thorough, everything explained, helped provide some immediate relief to a long-term back issue.

I have been a member for many years here. Participated in Ron Sewells Arthritis plus in therapy pool for years. Our class was an extended family.

Had a great workout in the pool. They are keeping it clean.

They have very poor communication skills. Mostly, when you ask them to freeze your account, when you are back they charge you prior moth as well. Very poor place. I have issue with payment as well. I do not recommend this place.

Great place to work out! The place has everything you’d want. It’s not crowded and the staff is friendly. The equipment and pool are well kept and clean.

I am still in Aquatic Rehab at the Mercy Fairfield Therapy Center. These people are THE BEST; from the Front Desk Reception Associates, to the Land Therapy Center, to the Aquatic Therapy Center. I have used this center for the last 15+ years after numerous different types of surgeries and I cannot say enough good things about EVERYONE that works there. 500☆ Rating !!

There really is something for everyone here. I switched to this gym after herniating 4 discs in my spine. Although I was severely restricted, I was able to find a variety of things I was able to do at the Healthplex while recovering. Ive been able to build my strength and core over the last few months because of all of the amenities this gym offers. There are several machines and free weights as well so I have never had to wait to use the equipment I needed for my workouts. The gym has so much to offer that it is able to grow WITH you as you improve so you can continue to challenge yourself! So happy I found this place!

Expensive relative to competition. Not well maintained. Pool has been down for many weeks with promises to be back up at different dates, but never happens. Most TVs have been nonfunctional for months. They occasionally add new equipment but no one oversees existing equipment and keeps it up to standards. Threw out an overhead pulldown machine instead of using a little effort to repair the belt. Machine then never replaced. Many times there is no trainer around and no one to oversee exercise floor. Many lockers are broken or not functioning. Major problem lack of oversight and feeling management just doesnt care. Good aspect is it is not overcrowded.

NiCe hospital.. NiCe caring friendly Associates, nurses doctors.. They make you feel comfortable.. They take care of you , want to know how your feeling. They make you feel like your needs do matter.

I went here for my weight loss support group. The facility is huge, but they have friendly staff that easily pointed me in the right direction.

Park at your own RISK on the east side of building at the Mercy Fairfield HealthPlex. This side of the parking area have NO security cameras per their security personnel that answered the phone. My car was vandalized and scratched 10/17/18 during my appointment (left my car at 7:18am returned 8:17am). I walked out to my car and saw the damage. I called the hospital security and I told them what happened at the Physical therapy side of the building. It was as if the man was relieved saying with a sigh breath and a flipped matter of fact tone knowing this area is high risk but did not care, Yeah, theres no security cameras on that side of the building, sorry. He did not offer NOTHING or care and probably hoped that when I hung up the phone the issue was over. So, I felt it on my spirit to let the public know because Mercy did NOTHING about my vandalized incident. If you can use HIPPA to safeguard a persons personal information the security role goes further with perimeter safety as well. If there are no cameras there should be a security guard or personnel sitting, driving or somewhere in the vicinity of the area that is NOT protected monitoring it the moment the doors open for business and they should NEVER leave until you can protect that area like the other security monitored areas of the hospital. I will also forward this review to WCPO Channel 9 News, letting know about this because this is a high risk that can be fatal for the employees, patients, and visitors that park on this side of the hospital because there is no security cameras or monitor or personnel because if there was the vandalism to my vehicle 10/17/18 should have never occurred and since it did, it should have been caught by security cameras.

Great place to exercise! Lots of fun classes to take - spinning, yoga, water aerobics - with certified trainers. Tennis courts with no fee for members. Open swim available in both pools. There is a sauna and whirlpool available in the locker room. Touchpad locks on lockers for daily use. Indoor track that goes around the tennis courts with three lanes. Free weight and cardio areas. Friendly staff. Clean towels and bathroom necessities for after workout clean up.

GREAT PLACE TO WORKOUT. MY BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT IS ITS NOT THE CLEANEST BEING MERCY HEATHPLEX.

Physical therapy department is very nice Nd the staff takes the time with you...I recommend this place!

Everything seems great about this place until you try to cancel. The staff will lie to you and ignore your cancellation request and just continue to bill you, all while letting you believe youve ended your membership.They will do all they can to tell you that you arent eligible for ending your membership with them when you actually can for a fee of around $190. The fee is it worth it though depending on how many months of payments you would have left.I really thought this place would have quality customer service and that they wouldnt be the crooks other gyms are, but they are all the same.Do not let the front desk help you with anything if you can help it and get membership or someone who actually knows what they are doing. Get a receipt or something in writing from them to document or they will steal from you. I didnt think all this was needed as I trusted this facility and trusted their word, but thats not so.

Great place to get any type of work out

Mercy Healthplex has everything you can dream of to workout, swim or to even relax. YMCA has nothing on this facility because the basketball court is always open for anyone to play basketball and as far as I can tell, the pool is always open for swimmers. This is a very unique workout facility with aminities like sauna, steamroom, and whirlpool. I recommend membership here over the YMCA any day. Very very cool place.

More expensive then the YMCA, but there is a indoor walking track, wet and dry sauna, and a whirpool and more variety to group classes.The atmosphere is peaceful and calming. The trainers are awesome. Kudos to the instructors for the Therapy Pool.A special thank You to Deshawn and Molly Cain for helping me work through issues while being out for a slight injury. I was treated like a real person and not a membership number.

Horrible guest policy.. 20$ to bring a friend for the day.. Between the volleyball league and basketball practice, the basketball courts are not open for members enough.. Every thing they offer to the members, they also rent out to the highest bidder. False advertisements!!! How can they advertise a lap pool if 90% of the time they have classes or some school holding practice.. Ive been a member for 4 years and Ive had enough... Mold growing under the carpet in mens locker room that has not been addressed for 4 years.. Smh

Great place for everyone. I personally go there to lift and train and they just got brand new equipment great for anyone trying to train for anysport. They have equipment for too level anthletes as well as stuff for beginners.

I spoke to Teresa Tragesser 3 weeks ago. Often the equipment needed ( steps, weights, etc) are not sufficient. I also asked about mounting a fan in the mind studio. Teresa told me she would have Bre inventory equipment and she would contact maintainance regarding the fan. Approximately 2 weeks into my membership, I asked for a locker. So now I pay $75 for a single nembership a month plus An additional &15 for a locker. I was told by the person who works the desk that someone would get in touch with me within 24 hours regarding a locker an combination. I had to call 5 days later to ask why no one had contacted me. I finally have a locker. I attend a class Monday night in the mind studio. Again, no mounted fan. I called Teresa. She said they have placed a fan in there. It’s the same small oscillating fan as before. It does not cool the room, hence the need for my call and the request for a mounted fan. The cycling room has 4 mounted fans and the fitness studio has 2 mounted fans. This health Plex has not lived up to its name

About a year ago I met a wonderful person with a great smile! who was actually looking for a car and she actually told me what she did for a living. soshe asked me if I attend a workout place I told her that I belong to Planet Fitness. Jaclyn madill invited me to the HealthPlex in Fairfield and gave me a tour I was blown away I didnt realize they had so much to offer now to be honest with you I dont attend regularly due to my schedule but when I do have time I always end up going theres a friendly staff with the smile on their face all the time they make you feel warm and welcome. What I love about the HealthPlex if you ever need anything, anything at all regardless what it is they will stop what theyre doing and come and help you with a smile on their face. I recommend anyone looking for a place to work out and you can also bring your kids the Fairfield HealthPlex is a place to go and I also recommend that you speak to Jaclyn Madill, for a tour of the facility you will not be disappointed and she will work up a really good deal for you.

I complained about the price initially (for a family pass) like anyone would. Between the discounts members get on different programs and the amount of things that they have to do, it was worth it. My kids have been to basketball camp and one has even taken swimming lessons. There are always open machines to workout on. They also have multiple locations with machines and tons of other things to do (Pool, Sauna, Hot Tub, Tennis, Track, even a Heavy Bag). My only grip would be that the front desk staff always seem to refer me to someone and that person is never available. It makes it seem like there is a disconnect between management and staff at times. Other than that, this place is AWESOME!!

FYI - for anyone using Mercyhealth Plex Fairfield. The lap pool has NO open lanes Monday - Friday from 4:30 - 7:00 PM for member to use due to swim club. Maybe this could have been avoided if the Healthplex coordinator had staggered the start times for the various levels of swim team.Club policy use to be 2 lanes would be available to members. As of 6/6/2016 this is longer the policy.

Not worth being a member. The facility offers too many programs non-members can do for hardly any extra cost to what members have to pay. The group classes are overcrowded more than not.

Abit pricey, but you get a lot for your money. Different than most gyms.
