No wonder They get so many 1 stars. By far the worst customer service ever. They missed my yard waste on Friday. I called and they said they will pick up that day and didn’t happen. Called again and they said it was scheduled on Monday. Didn’t happen. Called again on Tuesday and they won’t guarantee it. This has happened to my neighbors and I and most of the time we never called. I know we are all tired of Republic Services. We will be complaining to our city manager so that their contract with the city is cancelled when it comes to renewal time. Republic Services just don’t care.

Republic Services skillfully dropped the ball on pretty much every dimension of customer service when I rented a container. They dropped off the 20-yard container a day late, no compensation ... called approx. 10 times over a week to seek compensation, due to the cost and time to me as I had people who could not do removal as a result of the day-delay, and I get passed around to someone else who then passed me to someone else; the phone tree is supposed to get you where you need to go, except once a human came on the line, onto someone else. Their data doesnt talk to one another -- I have a residential account and an industrial account (from renting the container), and, yes, siloed data, parked in different data bases, so they cant address all your problems in one go; nope, let me pass you to another colleague for that. No urgency to correct the situation; no accountability; no ownership. h, and another pain point: two weeks of waiting for a larger bin and a larger recycling bin--still waiting, and no one has responded to the request.

I scheduled a pick up of an old box spring and I was promised that it will be picked four different times and was never picked up at all. I spoke to many of their rep and repeatedly explained about this issue. Each time I spoke to someone I am assured it will get picked up but never did. This is ridiculous and bad customer service. I’m still waiting for it to be picked up.

By far the worst customer service! I have been waiting for a month for a trash bin and still nothing. I tried calling customer support only to be bounced back and forth for over an hour. Each time the departments contradicted each other by saying that I did or did not need to make a payment to activate my account. I was then promised my trash bins later that week and guess what? STILL NOTHING. I even asked for a call from a manager and wouldnt you know it, no one called me back. I agree with one of the reviews that it must be nice to have a monopoly on it bc I would definitely take my business somewhere else if I had a choice! They are completely useless!!If someone from Republic is reading this, dont even bother with replying back only to tell me to email you. Thats YOUR JOB! Your team needs to follow up with me as I am the paying customer who had not recieved the services I am paying for. I have done my part several times and informed your teams of the problem. Now its your turn to do your part!!JUST SEND ME MY BINS AS MY TRASH IS STARTING TO PILE UP!!!

Called Republic Services on April 9th to schedule the first of two allotted bulk item removal, included in our service. The one and only appointment they had was in mid May, on a day that did not work for us. Asked for another day and was told the system could not schedule out any further.Was told to call back in a week or so.Must be nice to have a business monopoly. It goes to show that competition is a good thing.

Republic Services is a sad state of affairs. Called, to schedule an appliance pick up! On Monday, I was told it would be picked up on Tuesday, not. Called at 5pm on Tuesday, only to be told they will pick up on Wednesday, not. Another call at 5:30 pm Wednesday to reschedule for Thursday. Anyone’s guess how long it’s going to take to get resolved. No way to run a business. Sad! sad! sad!

For the past 4 months, I have been requesting a 91 gallon container, to no avail. I have called, and called, and called, talking to individuals that put notes on my account, when they can find it. Apparently 3 other people have accounts linked to this house, that I own, and have lived in for over 10 years, and my account has been closed since 2011. The broken promises are not the worst issue, nor is the promises of managers and supervisors returning my calls. The straw that broke the camels back is finding out last week, on my weekly calls, is that I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR A 91 GALLON CONTAINER FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS, AND STILL HAVE THE 64 GALLON CONTAINER! HOW DOES THAT WORK? It looks like submitting a review actually gets managements attention! I will call back tomorrow for my weekly we will send it on Tuesday, your next trash pickup day, and watch that day come and go like the past months! Only reason your company gets 1 star is the customer service I have been getting on the phone!

Absolutely absurd. We tried to set up services online and never heard anything back. We called to set up services and it was like we never attempted anything online. After finally reaching someone after being on hold, we were told that our cans were scheduled for delivery. Of course, that delivery date comes and goes with no cans delivered. We call the next day and they tell us there is a delay, and then they tell us they are out of stock. So now we have to go three weeks without a garbage can and mooching off of our neighbors. If it wasnt so frustrating it would be comical how terrible the service is.

I was on holdbforb30 minutes to be told they are closed due to an emergency. Was told my cans would be here before the 6th for start of service on the 6th. No cans still. Now I have to tell them start of service will be the 13th. Why would I pay for a week I didnt get service on. I used the website 2 weeks ago and havent herd back for start of service. I had to call last week and stay on hold for 10 minutes to request services.

Waiting to receive my Bins for last 1 month they are not dropping them. Scheduled to pick up the trash and yard waste but nobody pick it up.I am tired of calling and complaining every week.My trash is piled up. All I need my bins to be delivered. Its very frustrating.

Solano Republic didnt pickup my garbage cart on Tuesday . Ive checked with my neighbors, everybody elses got picked.This is 2nd time in a month . Its the same driver again.i have auto pay,so theres no payment issue either . I called their office same day and they told me that a truck gonna pickup next day . Later they changed it to today.Its 9.40pm but the garbage cart is still out by curbside. Its overflowing now.Now I have to wait until Monday to speak to them.

Left trash bags for bulk pickup and the homeless people ripped all the bags open digging threw trash so had to go out in the street and pick up every thing and my neighbors were staring at me felt embarrassed and Ill probably catch COVID-19 now from touching the stuff after the homeless people 🤬 cant believe I have to stay home and gard my trash I just had a argument with the second homeless person because I asked them to stay out of my trash 🤦

Thursday is my pick up day they picked up my yard waste and my recyclables. I was out and then when I got home I notice my garbage had not been picked up but everyone else had already pulled in their cans. I called Republic services that same day and they said they would come out and pick up that same day they did not, I called again on Friday they said they would come out and pick up that day they did not. I M STILL WAITING!!!!!!!

I was third in line and it took an hour and a half. only one person can go inside at a time with their recycling. There is not enough bins placed outside to put your cans and plastics in so if you are not ready because they did not give you bins they just skip you which sucks. The guy was nice. That’s the only positive.

This company has probably been the worse yet. they missed out garbage , and few of my neighbors . I called them twice I left a message and of course called me back 5 minutes before they close and left me a voicemail . The second time I called I spoke with someone telling me that they’ll come pick up by 6pm! But the garbage is still full. Someone needs to do their job right .

Recently moved to Fairfield. I was told by a representative that they would replace the dirty trash and recycle bin with refurbished ones. In addition to that phone call, I have called exactly 5 times for the same service. Despite being given several dates, with my garbage pick up day being the last resort, it has not happened yet. Very poor service.

I’ve been on hold longer than it took to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. At least the national line picks up right away. This branch not so much. All I would like to do it set up services. You think they would want that money. You would also think with so many people willing to work right now the current staff here would take their jobs more seriously. Horrible first impression.

Literally the worst company in Fairfield. First, scattered my trash on the street, second, missed trash pick up, third, the customer service took 30 mins to pick up the phone and promised to pick up the trash the next day, but nobody picked up. Transferred me to the supervisor then got disconnected. Honestly, the customer service is unprofessional and rude. The company should start looking into the people working in Fairfield, CA and re-evaluate their people.

I wanted to have a question answered about where & how to dispose of something. I dont have internet at my house and my phone is too small for me to look things up. With that said, I called them. When I finally got through the automated system, it placed me on hold & and informed me that they were assisting other customers and would answer once available.I understand that I need to be patient a bit and to wait my turn. I am certainly okay with that. What I have a problem with is waiting a half hour on hold and when someone actually answered, I was told that they had someone before me and that they would be right back. So, needless to say, I was placed on hold again.That really doesnt even bother me. I am upset by the fact that I was on hold for another 30 minutes before I just hung up. I dont know if anyone has had that same problem, but thats not okay. Especially when they can just raise the amount of charges without an explanation or providing a breakdown of all charges.I pay my bill on time. When I call in to have a question answered, I shouldnt have to wait an hour on hold.I hope the phones are taken a bit more seriously and that this was a one-time event.

Impossible to contact. I tried calling. I tried emailing. I tried online. Online doesnt work. The app doesnt work. I can sit on hold all day on the phone and no one ever answers! I can email and only get an automated response. It says they will contact me the next business day, but they dont.

This company definitely needs to be under new management- their customer service is polite and they seem to want to resolve issues but the delivery of resolution to the issue doesn’t get resolved. I’ve been trying to have them pick up a trash bin that is not needed and they just won’t collect it although they tell me it’ll be collected each time I ask. It’s been cluttering up my area for 7months and I want it gone!

This place is run worse than a toddlers lemonade stand. They dont pick up when they are supposed to, and want to charge $200+ to have an unscheduled pick up done, though their employees are the ones who dropped the ball for the pick up. Republic Services: I get it that there are no other options, so you dont have to care about losing business, but at least make an attempt at being decent human beings.

They are always so very nice and helpful in the office or on the phone. My gray bin driver even gets out of the truck and brings our can back into the driveway for us. Knowing we are seniors. And I really appreciate him doing so. Thank you for a great crew.

I do not normally write or rate for Reviews but having dealt with such a small concern, of a missed Recycle pick and I requested for a return that was not Handled by Management in any way shape or form. A Supervisor never returned a call as stated. very unprofessional management. i repeatedly called everyday and got the same results: in which they flat out did not do what they said. NEVER GOT WHAT WE PAY FOR.

In the 3-4 times I have contacted Republic Services, I received excellent customer focused services.There were even suggestions offered to assist me in saving money on my bulk pick up requests.When I requested a replacement garbage bin, it was delivered on my next pick up date as promised. 5 stars is all that is listed, but I would gladly give 10 stars.

Called to schedule a bulk pick up of rolled pieces of carpet. First available appointment was two weeks out. Disappointed the wait was so long but accepted the appointment, Repeating it twice to ensure I got it right. I neatly stacked my carpet the night before and guess what? .... no pick up! I called republic services following morning, they had no record of my appointment. Nice. My new appointment is now another 3 weeks away! So I have to haul it all back behind my fence, and re haul it again. Very poor service, no explanation given and no attempt to make it right by having it picked up sooner.

I made arrangements for a garage pick up because my freezer died and didnt want to wait 6 days for regular pickup. Was billed almost $25 for this and was never picked up. Its noe after 7pm on a Friday. I called around 4: 30 was told they had until 6 to pick up. Now all the stuff in freezer will be sitting out until Tuesday which is my regular pickup day.

I have been trying for over a month to get my trash can replaced and have not been successful. I have talked to three different phone reps and the costumer services supervisor with NO call back. I have NEVER dealt with such incompetency and such a unprofessional company. As I can see from this site I am not the only one who can not get a resolution or call back. Guy missed my can, asked why he said because I had cardboard in the yard waste was a very small juice box , then he made a big deal about coming back to get it later ,Never came back also the city demands us to use this company plants city trees on my property and expects me to maintain the trees so I put the branches in the yard waste can they stopped taking the can because the driver told me they don’t take Branches so there is four cans republic missed today on my street alone , not a happy customer.

I live in Suisun City and wants to drop off my CRV and e-waste. I called and was informed that they dont offer buy back of CRV on their Fairfield location for Suisun residents. Its 0nly for Fairfield residents. But I can drop off my e-waste there... Ironic!

Ordered a 20 yard container online and the website said in 48 hours it would be delivered. After 2 days I call to ask where it is and they ask me if I talked to anyone. I said no and they told me I wasnt going to get a container until I talked to someone. Not what website says. To top it off I ordered a container through a representative and they promised it by Friday. It was actually promised by Thursday on website. After a problem with my paperwork and redo they promised Friday again. No container on Friday, called off work, lost money, No one cares, and Ill get my container on Monday. Too bad I work on monday and all my help went home! Maybe next weekend but they will prob remove it before then because the website is broken except for payments and do not know what they are doing or saying. Ridiculous!

Your street cleaner just sucked up my doormat. I live in an alley and there should never be any reason why one of your cleaners should be that close to my front door. My doormat was not cheap either. I tried waving down the truck after it passed and had no response. Needless to say i am not happy about this. If I was to open my front door I could could have very easily touched the truck. NOT SAFE! I know the alleys are narrow but there is plenty of room to avoid being that close. The truck passed over a wad of paper and it stayed behind but off goes my mat!

Isnt is true that when you owe them money they are out to get you however if you over pay them they dilly dally without a concern. My banks (Patelco FCU) online banking system changed and apparently I paid $4760.00 to Republic Services by accident on October 18, 2017. I was notified by my bank that I am over drawn. I went to the bank and asked for help. They said they could not help me. I called Republic Services that day and they said that I would see the money back in my account in 5 business days. It has been 8 business days and no money!!! Just got off the phone and they said corporate does not know when they can refund me my money! I cant believe this is happening but what can I expect coming from corporate???? My mortgage is due....I need HELP! Help!!!!

I have been repeatedly informed that the delivery of my trash cans would be on Friday.... then next Friday...... then next Friday. I have been waiting almost four weeks for trash cans. I have been paying for a service that I cant utilize. The service is awful. I expressed my frustrations PROFESSIONALLY to the customer service rep and she couldnt have cared less. She was extremely inappropriate and condescending as if not have trash cans is a small problem. I wish there was another service in the Fairfield area.

I have called the local number three times and each time I was put on hold to speak to an agent and the wait is about an hour each time. I am hating Republic services. When I spoke to a general agent I could hear a bunch of people in the background laughing and monkeying around. They are not working they are having fun while we are waiting on the phone for hours just to make a simple appointment for spring clean up. I am disgusted.

If I could give a negative 3 stars I would. This is the worse company in over 35 years of business that I have ever dealt with. They cant even manage to return a phone call. My office and I have been on the phone over 2 hours during at least 10 different occasions trying to get a dumpster. They make a lot of promises. Never got a single call.

Over charged me, then removed some of the overcharge but charging late fees on the overcharge that was removed. havent picked up for 5 weeks but insist on charging me anyway. I just wish that you could come at a later time like 8:00 am instead of 6:30 am to collect garbage on Stonewood Drive area. The middle school is out now and you dont need to come so early. Please rotate the area. Maybe start on Canyon Hills Road or anywhere. Geez ugh

It took 2 months and 4 phone calls for them to swap out a new trash can that was cracked when we moved in. Only after 2 months of having the new can, the garbage man snapped a wheel off. Lets see how long it takes for a new can to arrive.
