Ive been waiting for a shipment of a custom made item for four months and this YRC frieght company put a hole straight through it. Any shipping company that cannot assure the protection and handling of a product should not be a shipping company but rather a butcher company.

I ordered a door from home depot arranged for home delivery on 27 sept...this company lost my door in transit failed to notify me that they where contracted to deliver door never called me to establish delivery and than when i called looking back it it couldnt be found and multiple excuses and we apologize insincere of course because i guess you are out of luck we will let you know when we can get around to it we are employed by home depot not you....what ever you do dont use these inept pirates!!!!

Do not use this company. Their customer service should be criminal. Last shipment they charged me a residential pick up fee, (after the fact, after their quote and after multiple pick ups here in the past) based on a google image of my place of business. This is a commercially zoned business, yet their customer service department told me once that determination has been made it cannot be reversed. Hours of run-around and frustration. Idiots just lost my business.

I was nervous about needing to deal with them after reading all the bad reviews, but I had a good experience, where my freight arrived to their terminal on time and undamaged, their phone skills were professional, and they were adept at loading my freight promptly and with care onto my trailer.

Have never dealt with a worse freight company! They damage your freight, then make you jump through hoops to be compensated for obvious damage. Have notified my vendors and refused to purchase from them if they ship to me via YRC. Now I go over each shipment BEFORE I take it off their trucks. Refused 2 this week.

Yrc Utah location picked up my freight from and lost it at one of their terminal locations, never notified anyone, found it 3 days after it was supposed to be delivered. The original delivery date was supposed to be on the 9th. The first person I spoke to on the phone said it was found and blamed it on the kayak company but it would be six days before I received it. The next day it got pushed back she further all the way until the 21st. I called the company this time the person tried to make it sound like it wasnt yrc fault until I asked about the paperwork that said they had received it, they then finally admitted it got lost at one of their locations. I asked if they could simply expedite the shipping(which you hear all about on their automated messages) to make up for the time difference. I even spoke to a supervisor who all said I would have to talk to Wal-Mart since I bought it through them and see if Wal-Mart would pay for the expedited shipping even though its 2 weeks late because they lost my kayak. If you loose freight yrc take responsibility and do what you can to get it delivered on time, I was supposed to go on group kayaking fishing trip for fathers day, thanks for missing up my families gift.

Still waiting on my shed I ordered April 9th (was told I could expect April 18th) to arrive. When I called to talk to customer service they hung up on me.
