I love MST my daughter loves doing theater during the summer time. Their shows are amazing, they learn a lot of dances from a choreographer and they have a voice coach its a really amazing opportunity for our youth and this company is really amazing last time. The owner Pam and her daughter are really amazing, they really love what they do and it shows in their work and in all that passion that they put towards this program.

Always a delight to see the local talent. Not once have I been and found myself disappointed. They put an incredible amount of time and effort into these productions and the cost for what they do is really reasonable. Its not just supporting local theater, its being entertained in person by real talent instead of a TV or movie! That is huge when you actually have experienced it! Nothing better. These are some of the sculptures in the lobby. Ive posted other pictures prior.

Great Theater for youth and adult productions. My daughter started in musical theater here, and was able to be a part of the production under scholarship. She loved all the singing and dancing, and was part of Cats and Oliver shows. Since then, I have participated in adult productions with MST as ensemble cast. The theater director and choreographer are great and do amazing work with every production.

I have attended the youth theatre at mst for over 3 years. I have grown so much there. In my dancing, singing, and acting. People need to realize that you develop in this theatre. You grow. It takes time. You dont automatically get to be in the front for everything, or automatically get cast as the lead. It takes time. I love this theatre with all of my heart. At this theatre, we are a big supportive family.

Been actively involved with this theatre company for 8 years. They’ve helped me realize my true passion for theatre and pushed me to become better. I’ve been in both youth and main stage productions and the experience has been completely amazing. Would reccomend the youth program to everyone.

They dont put all the kids in the show at the end, and place older taller kids in front and smaller kids in the back so you cant even see them. They dont communicate with parents well at all, and break kids and parents hearts. Dont waste your money here.

The youth program is too full, and they pick plays without knowing how big the cast they need, so they will split a five character play into 40 parts, then not run a third of it till tech week. probly one of my worst youth theater experiences i ever had.

Disappointed. Expected a better production. It was all kids but not advertised that way. Would have rather gone to a high school play.

One would think that a childrens theatre camp that is putting on a show of just singing and dancing would be focused on the process and not the product. The Director of this Childrens theatre has no business working with children. We paid over $500 for my daughter to attend this camp. She is 7. It was a Broadway show with just singing and dancing. No auditions necessary. She was practicing the words to This is Me when we were in the car or at home. It was one of her numbers. We rented the Greatest Showman where the song came from. She was sooooo excited and would sing this song daily. When this number came on and it was suppose to have ALL the kids in it, she was no where to be found. She did come out and perform in her final number. When I asked the head lady in charge why my daughter was not in the number of This is Me, I was told that they that when it came to practice she wouldnt always sing, so they pulled her from the number. They pulled her and one other boy. They were not misbehaving, they simply didnt participate the whole time. She told me that they often pull kids from numbers if they dont participate. They sat backstage while the rest of the camp performed the number. No one notified me ahead of time to tell me my child was not participating at camp. There is no policy that states they will remove children from numbers unless it was due to lack of attendance. My daughter was there every day except day three where we went to her Great Grandmothers funeral. My daughter came out sobbing after the show. She was told she didnt know the words to the song and they would not let her on. I saw several kids through out the show that werent singing. Would my child sitting on the stairs with the other kids not singing ruin the whole show? I doubt it. My daughter sang the song to me on the way home with no music. She knew all the words. Shes a day dreamer and probably got lost in her head during practice. Im really wondering what they would have done if they had a child with Aspergers? Would they have pulled that child from numbers if they didnt sing? Why wasnt I not notified? On top of it all they also had a slide show showing each kids head shot. My kid was there they day of the photos and her photo was not shown. I was told it would be added to the $20 video that I could purchase. I also would like to mention that there was a dance to one of the songs where two groups were performing. They put all the big kids in the front and all the small 5 and 6 year olds who were short and not as good at the dancing in the back. You couldnt even see some of them. This is not a children camp. This is a show off production for the teachers and directors. Theatre camps for kids that are not big play productions should be fun and an a learning experience. It should be about the process and not the product. EVERY kid should be included in their group numbers and all kid numbers. Even if they are not the best at it. You work with them. You dont ostracize children and make them feel worthless and small., My child no longer wants anything to do with this sort of hobby. Im devastated. Dont waste your money. Check out the Suisun Theatre camp or something else. These people shouldnt be working with children.
