This dollar tree has a nice selection but the wait time on the line is ridiculous. Every time I come here I am waiting in line for 20 minutes or more as they never have more than 2 registers open (if that) and it goes extremely slow. This is is the closet dollar tree to me so I come here out of convenience but I regret it each time I wait on these crazy long lines. I hope this location does something about this as it truly does take away from the experience.

This Dollar Tree seems to have a great selection even though they are all the same store some get more than others it seems

Good selection. Sometimes you have to watch what you buy as not everything is a good value. Building is slated for redevelopment by fair lawn so its unlikely that this place will be part of the likely upscale new development.

Worst dollar tree ever. Nothing was stocked and they had so much garbage everywhere. Literally garbage.

Messy, never fully stocked with craft items, books, contact paper/shelf liner, storage items, office/school supplies or floral. Everything looks dirty, the floors, shelves, check out counters & shopping carts/hand baskets.They seem to focus on food, TP, paper towels, etc.really one of the worst stocked & many of the decor items are damaged/broken.

They only have one register open thus the line is always a mile long. On top of that, the whole place is disorganized, things are thrown onto shelves and sometimes in a completely different place than intended. Although they have everything under the sun, if you’re looking for a quick trip to the dollar store go somewhere else.

It is a very good priced place! I really like the decor and all the other high quality things that are only for a few dollars! Keep it up!

This one is better than Hawthorne, but we will see if that stays after Hawthorne moves to a bigger store in the same shopping center (store closed now, for relocation Hawthorne)

I was just treated and spoken to so poorly by an employee when I asked for a manager the man said “me I am the manager” No wonder there are rumors of this business closing when this is the kind of person in charge of running it. I just love a man who can be mean to a women real tough guy.

I am almost a daily customer of this Dollar Tree Store in 22-03 FairlawnAvenue, in Fairlawn NJ. Great Store but they have to hire more people as the wait lines are horrendous. They only have 1 or 2 maximum counter open and if there is a price check for one of the customers then the lines keep increasing beyond repair. I hope management looks into this as o/wise they are going to loose customers.

Great but could use more cashiers

This isnt the best Dollar Tree. I went in with a list of items I know they sell and I was only able to cross one product off the list. Everything else was out of stock and even the item I was able to grab, was hidden and one of the last they had. I may have gone on a bad day, but its obvious that their stock is significantly, significantly less than other Dollar Tree locations. This particular store used to be a Deals. I was sad to see it go, and now, more than ever, I wish it could come back.As a note, I was thankfully able to order one of the items on my list from the online marketplace, but of course, the price of shipping doesnt make the deal as sweet.

Outer aisles have to much stuff stacked looking for bleach work said they were out meanwhile customer found many Cartons that needed to be put on shelves. Check out was horrible last week I walked out. Today I had them open another register because some people have full cart. Some like me only have two items. During this Crisis they need to have more cashiers to get people out faster

Went to Dollar Tree today. Pretty much got everything I needed. It wasnt too crowded which is good right now. The store was a bit messy but it looked like they got a shipment in and were in the process of stocking the shelves. Theyre doing ok under the circumstances. The cashier was friendly.Ill go back.

Store was clean and social distancing was in place. Shelves were well stocked however the help was a little lacking.

I had a HORRIBLE experience today in Store #4749 (Fair Lawn, NJ) with a cashier named Anna. After waiting on the (single) line with two registers open, my turn came, and I moved up to one of the open registers as the previous customer was finishing up. Anna indicated that there was only one line, and that I need to go to the back. I politely explained that I DID wait on the line as required, that Im the next customer in the queue (the customer in front of me verified this, since we had chatted while on line), and that further explanations will not be needed. She proceeded to become very defensive, sarcastic, belligerent, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional, hurling all sorts of insults at me (calling me, among other things, an old man -- Im only 47, by the way -- and saying I was acting like a baby because I wouldnt tolerate her insults). She also stated at me aggressively and threateningly at me as I was checking out at the other register. What a terrible representative of this company. Im in the process of filing a formal complaint with the corporate headquarters. I demand that Anna be FIRED, immediately!

Best Dollar Tree by far in Bergen county. The only thing is that it’s too far from me. Gotta go on Route 4 which is always crowded.They had everything you could ask for , and some of the new products they brag about in Florida and Indiana and Louisiana!!

Cashier was friendly and helpful. This specific Dollar Tree was the only one out of the three I visited to have what I had been searching for. The gentleman sweeping the floor could have been a bit friendlier; otherwise, he was able to tell me exactly which isle to find the item I came in the store for.

Lots of great items and all for a dollar. The store has everything from potato chips to kitchen towels. Stock is always changing but the price remains at a dollar. This location has lots of parking and is easily accessed from Fair Lawn Ave or Plaza road.

I called today for a particular item I was told item was available . Drove 20 minutes to go into the store and item was not in stock . The employees there were no help , Just pointing out were it should be. Meanwhile they had no customers at the moment . No sense of customer service at all.

The shelves didn’t have anything in them. And if they did it would mostly be useless things and the staff not so great.

I like dollar tree in fair lawn, new jersey. Every thing is a dollar. I go there any time Im having a party. It is well stocked anytime I go there. The employees are nice as well.

Every time I go here, I say Im never going to return... but then I need to grab something really quick and it pulls me back in. This place smells like urine. Urine that is being simmered on a stove. If the smell doesnt get you, waiting in line for 15 minutes because theres only 1 cashier during rush hour will definitely zap your will to live. The icing on the cake is the insightful conversation the locals drum up while in this purgatory.Im just going to spend the extra $ at party city. My sanity is worth it.

I love shopping here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I buy alot of rewards for my students. The cashiers and other staff work harder than the managers do. I like the Fair Lawn and Hawthorne locations best of all.

So much better than the Dollar Tree in Hawthorne. They always have all the shelves stocked so you never have to deal with not being able to purchase what you wanted to purchase.

Yes its often messy and yes many times there is only one cashier. But its a dollar store, not high end fancy boutique. They have a very nice selection, they are very friendly and helpful, and everything is really a dollar.

They need to post that theyre CLOSED TEMPORARILY. You have people going to the store like its open!

Great selection and everything is truly $1. Perhaps it was this store but there were not enough cash registers open and it was really messy. I expected better.

Before new management place was clean and friendly the girls that worked there always had a smile and fast workers. Now that new manager less workers and dirty, the shelves are not stocked or empty go there pretty much everyday before work and getting worse. They should make the young girls in charge maybe place will get back to its better place. Manager does not care if line is long will not help out like the other people that work there.

This Dollar Tree is the best! Always clean and organize easy to shop is worth the drive for me.

Terrible manager. I forgot my bag w my purchase on the cashier, then i called them to put it on hold for me. I came back the next day and the manager told me that i didnt leave any bag, but when i called she got my name and said my bags was there! She literally said i was lying and i must not have paid for the products. When i was leaving i heard them laughing at me, really disrespectful. I wont come back to this store.

More cashiers are needed! Peek hours are very important!

Has a large selection of items and (surprise!) all of them are a dollar. My only criticism is that at any given time it seems like there is 1 cashier with a very long line of customers and in general the store seems very messy. Boxes laying around, trolleys blocking shelves, etc. Other than that, great place for getting things cheap as well as supplementing some food items when on a tight budget.

If you are on a budget this is your place for shopping. Amazing what you can get for a dollar.
