I absolutely love this salon! They are an Aveda salon which makes me feel good about the products used; particular because they are not tested on animals.

Visited LB Beauty Salon for the first time today. LOVED IT! I got my hair cut done by Nadia, you can tell she knows what she is doing! She makes sure that she hears you out and that she is 100% on the same page as you are on the hair cut. I have previously gone to other hair stylists and when I tell them layered hair in the same length they still cut WAY too much. Nadia verified how much too cut and I cannot tell you the amount of detail she went into making sure that my long layered hair came out exactly as I had asked. That just builds trust between the stylist and the guest. The salon also has Covid measures in place which just adds to the comfort of being there.

Nadia is amazing she listens to exactly what you want, friendly, caring can’t say enough about her, her work says it all! The salon is very clean and very well organized love the staff so friendly! Would highly recommend this salon and Nadia for any of your hair care needs!

This was my first time getting my hair done at Lb Beauty. I have been to many salons before and they never give me what I ask for. I left LB with my hair being exactly what I wanted and what I have been trying to achieve for years! Everyone in the salon is super nice and helpful. I couldn’t be happier, I will definitely be back! I started coming here recently. First haircut after strict coronavirus stay at home orders were lifted. It was clean and I felt safe. I came back since for another haircut and highlights. My hair stylist Nadia gave me the best highlights of my life. I asked her to make me as blonde as possible and she blended my hair beautifully. Love this place.

Great affordable service! Even though I am local, I never noticed this salon until I took decided to take a different route for my walk one day. I made a last minute appointment and they were able to fit me in right away. The receptionist and the young girl who washed my hair were extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Jennifer listened to what I needed and gave me a great cut! I was surprised at the price as well since my previous salon charges much more. The convenience and service has me sold! Ill be coming back again soon.

I have been coming here for a few years now and am a very happy customer. The salon is very accommodating and all the Aveda products are fantastic (I love that they are plant-based and animal testing free). This salon is my favorite salon to get any service done, from hair to nails, you name it. This salon is cruelty free and uses a lot of vegan products with their services. Which is great for those with sensitive skin or hair. I always get my hair done by Nadia because she educates me on my hair and allows my hair to be healthy after each service. I’ve been a regular at LB for 2 years with Amy and before finding LB I was bouncing from one place to another with no luck. Although I have my hair done with Amy I have seen how wonderful and professional all the ladies are in all they do. They listen to what the client wants and give their professional opinion to steer the client in the right direction. Roxann is the beauty who greets you at the front and helps you with your products before leaving. This was my first appointment there and the entire salon was wonderful! Jackie did my hair and it looks great! I couldnt ask for a better outcome on a first appointment. Going back two more Sundays in a row (highlights and then a facial!) So glad I found them!

My mother made an appointment for her, myself, and my Aunt to get our hair styled for my brothers wedding. I called ahead to let them know I prefer vintage styling, so they could easily match me with a stylist who felt comfortable. We showed up to the salon early and a stylist came to me and asked me what I wanted. I had several photos of vintage styles Id be happy with and asked her to choose the one she felt like she could best achieve. She assured me she could do them all! We chose soft S-curls.I have been doing vintage styling for over 10 years and only made an appointment so that I wouldnt get tired before a big day celebrating my brother. In order to create the S shape, all the curls have to be rolled around a wand in the same direction. She rolled curls in random directions using the clamp. This stylist had no intention of protecting the integrity of my hair. She did not use a heat protectant product. Instead over-sprayed hairspray and curled over it. Youre essentially cooking your hair this way. Its adding oil to a pan. After curling my hair once, she saw the curls were falling. My hair felt too stiff from all the heavy, excess hairspray. She proceeded to cook my hair THREE TIMES with the curling iron. During this process, I politely said several times this doesnt look like the photo I showed you. and The curls are not staying and there is too much product on my hair. Maybe we should start over. When she was done, my hair looked like 80s fluffed out feathered curls, with stiff straight ends.I told her the best thing to do would be to wash my hair out and let me do it myself. She said that we could fix it and encouraged me to let her try to continue. This would only further damage my hair. The salon owner convinced me to let her try to Fix what had been done. While she was able to make it look better, it was nothing like what I had asked for and the curls were heavy, stiff, deformed, and not going to hold until the evening, when the wedding would just be beginning. Ultimately, the owner agreed and washed my hair out. The only positive thing I will say is that she did not charge us for this service and was very kind and educated. However, when I had to rush home to do my own styling after my hair was washed with a clarifying shampoo, there was STILL hairspray in my hair (as well as all over the back of my phone.)My mother had her hair done by the salon owner as well, and it came out very nice, albeit that she was not ready to start at the appointment time. I was told more than once they only have one stylist who can accomplish the type of curls I wanted, and she was on maternity leave. Your stylists should be a team! If someone is good at up-dos, have them teach a class for the other stylists on it. And, if a stylists does not have the ability to do a service, they should be booking that service until they are properly educated.Unrelated to the actual service, the stylist never offered to put my bag somewhere, and I had to hold it the whole appointment. I had a coffee and when my cup was empty, the stylist told me it was in her way with my holding it, but did not offer to throw it out. I am a fat person, and the stylist was vocal about worrying that the cape wouldnt fit around my neck, though it has never been a problem for me and was not a problem once the cape was on. Lastly, when I was convinced to switch over to the salon owners chair, there were several different advertising pamphlets for weight loss procedures like cool sculpting and fat laser. A salons main purpose should be to enhance a clients natural beauty. If it cannot be changed in the salon, it should not be advertised. If I want to feel beautiful, I should not be staring at pamphlets telling me my fat body is stubborn. After a terrible, damaging appointment that resulted in no style, I left the salon also feeling like they hated my fat body, as well. Very bad for business.

This is only my second time at this place but I only started going here because they recently hired my favorite hair artist! If you go you gotta ask for Nadia. She is super sweet and will let you live your best life without damaging your hair with a bunch of chemicals like any other person would looking to take your money!! She gives you input on what she thinks will work better for you and what styles to do with any type of hair length or color. I personally have very tricky hair it’s ridiculously thick and super long and she has been the only person able to make it bearable throughout the day without needing to style it all the time which is great. Thanks nadia! I’ll be back again

Cannot give enough props to LB Beauty Salon! I had my engagement pictures this past Sunday (10/20). My pictures were originally scheduled for 1:00pm that afternoon but with the chance of rain increasing as the week went on, my photographer requested we change the start time to 10:00am (at around 3pm Saturday afternoon, mind you). Needless to say I panicked at the thought of finding an early Sunday morning hair appointment at a hair salon in Bergen County! Luckily, LB Beauty Salon offered me a 7:45 am appointment after hearing my dilemma! My hair came out beautiful and I’m so grateful they were able to offer me such an early appointment with barely any notice. My hair looked great and my photos were a huge success!

I used to go to Nadia before she moved and recently made a visit to her new location (LB Beauty) My hair needed HELP. Nadia did a highlight touch-up, deep condition, and a hair trim, blowout. She did an amazing job and did not have me sitting for hours on end to complete the process. She was very attentive to my hair and the results were exactly what I wanted! I was very impressed with LB Salon too, clean, up-to date, and bright cheerful feeling, and they had coffee haha.. Will def go back when my roots grow out again lol!

These ladies are the best! They do everything they can to make you feel pampered and well cared for. Then theres their talent and skill as aestheticians, stylists, colorists.... They are amazing! A huge shout out to Erica who Ive been a loyal customer of for 15 years!! The best colorist ever! Seriously I get asked about my color and hair all the time. I may be their client, but I really feel like they work for me when Im there!!

The owner arranged her schedule to accommodate me for a makeup application appointment for a wedding. She did a beautiful job. The makeup lasted the entire day and I got several compliments! I would definitely go back for makeup and would consider trying other services there.

Staff are all awesome. Lori does a great job with hair. Erica also is awesome. I feel like an ugly duckling walking in and a princess walking out. Very talented and patient.
