Excellent experience overall. Regina did a wonderful job microblading my moms Eyebrows. They looked incredibly natural. My mom raved about how much younger she looks. Regina asked questions and listened carefully to what my mom wanted to achieve. She looked in the mirror to confirm shape and thickness of Eyebrows and was guided through the process. As a family we were also engaged and shared the after care instructions. Minimal pain and no irritation afterwards.

I had a facial done by Natalie and it was amazing! My skin today looks great, so much clear, hydrated and glowy! I am so happy with the results. Natalie is very professional and kind, she pays attention to details and takes her time. I love this place.

Marisa does such a great job on my facials! I used to have a lot of redness and breakouts. I came consistently for a facial and she recommended products to use at home, and now my skin has never looked better. I don’t break out, I don’t have any redness. Now I see her to maintain the skin and starting focusing anti-aging regimen. The LED light, microdermabrasion, and gua sha are my favorite treatments. I also started coming here for electrolysis too, they really do it all and everything is professional, clean and they have taken a lot of careful precautions during quarantine to have a safe environment. Feel very comfortable here! Thank you guys!

Best place for my skin

Im very happy with my electrolysis experience so far. Regina is professional and very focused on her work. Im also happy with COVID precautions that I see, mainly staff wearing masks, no handling of credit cards, and hand sanitizers throughout the office. Patient mask wearing is also enforced, from what Ive seen.I cant comment yet on effectiveness of the hair removal service (takes several months to see results) so Ill update my review later to incorporate that in more detail!UPDATE!!Three month into service update: I continue to be very pleased with reginas work and have seen great reduction in hair growing back. Probably about 50-60% reduction.

This is round two for me...Regina microbladed my eyebrows a year ago and I am still so in love with them. I went for my first touch up which was uneventful and easy. Part two - I just finished getting permanent eyeliner and I am absolutely over the moon satisfied. I wanted something relevant yet natural and Regina gave me both! Running out the door without make-up has never felt so good. Im not going to lie - it is a bit addicting as I have a few more things that I would love to do like the lash lift and permanent lipstick. I am confident that should I go forward- I will be 100% satisfied with my results. The pricing is fair and the professionalism and skill that Regina has is top notch. I had a facial done by Natalie and it was excellent! She identified what I needed help with and she actually did a custom facial. She told me she added few extra powders and vitamins to the product she was using. The product she used smelled great and my skin today looks amazing! Its clear, looks hydrated and ALIVE!! Natalie seems to know a lot about skincare and pays attention to detail and took her time. I liked the heated bed I laid on during treatment and the yummy green tea I drank :)

This place is the real deal. Due to some health issues, my hormonal acne got out of control. As a last resort I looked into getting a facial and found MY Skin Care & Electrolysis - what really sold me is that they also preach a healthy and natural lifestyle. Truth be told, I never had a facial before coming here and really didnt think it would help but I was desperate. Ive now been seeing Marissa for a few months and shes been nothing short of a miracle worker. In about two months, my skin cleared up almost completely! She guided me through everything and constantly rotates routines to fit my needs. I cant recommend this place enough.

I got an eyelash lift and tint and I’m so happy with it!! My experience was amazing, the workers were professional and made the process very relaxing! I was walked through every step of the lifting and tinting and they explained exactly what they were doing in each step. My eyelashes looks so good I don’t even need mascara. I would 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be returning!!

This place really saved my skin & self esteem! I suffered from extremely bad acne and this place was my last hope before trying accutane. I am so happy I tried it out because my skin changed immensely. Natalie is the best, she really transformed my skin & took so many things into consideration when helping me get on track. I went from having dry flaky severe cystic acne to clear skin. We are now focusing more on scars left from the acne, which are not even bad as I expected to have with the severe acne I had. Would give this place 10000 stars if I could, everyone is super nice but book with Natalie to get your skin on track!

I began to break out on my back when I became pregnant. I decided to try microderm on my back and it has helped so much! Natalie is amazing. She is so kind and extremely knowledgeable. She takes her time and truly does a wonderful job. The break outs subsided and I felt back to myself!

I was introduced to Valentina Tabaka through a friend who highly recommended her as a true professional. Now, I have thick hair and I tried various other methods of hair removal (waxing, shaving, etc), and to be honest none of them worked to my satisfaction. All these methods work in mediocre scale and with with diminishing results. After I met with Valentina, she patiently explained me in detail the entire process, step-by-step. She has a medical background so, all my questions were answered from a professional point of view, in a clear and consistent manner. I have only couple of treatments left, but I must say that this was the best decision I’ve ever made. I do not have pigmentation anymore, my skin is smooth, clear and literally all my friends are asking what is I did to get that beautiful skin. Let me tell you, if you like me suffer from thick hair, electrolysis is your best bet. Better yet, go see Valentina, this will be the best decision you’ve ever made!!!!

My Microblading experience at My Skin Care & Electrolysis in Fairlawn, NJ was amazing! I was nervous at first but Regina made me feel at ease with every step. She was there for me even prior to the appointment and walked me through every expectation. It was a breeze, professionally done and also looks gorgeous. She took her time and created the look that I wanted. The salon in general is very clean and the staff (and the owner) are very warm and friendly. Had skin care and cherry angiomas removal procedure today with Natalie. Awesome experience. I was a few mins late and she waited for me and offered me coffee when I got there. The whole procedure took about 20 mins and results were fantastic. Natalie was careful with a few large ones to make sure it didn’t feel too uncomfortable. Overall very pleased with my visit.

Worst lash lift ever! My lashes are pointing up/down/all different directions. She left the solution on for too long on my right eye and burnt off lashes. The “owner” Marina said she doesn’t necessarily give a refund if you are not happy with the result. What about if the lash technician burnt off half of my eyelashes!? I can go on and on about how much was wrong with my experience and this place. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had a facial experience with Natalie last week. I am extremely cautious when booking any type of facial service, but she made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as we started. She brought me to the clean + cozy room, where she explained everything I needed to do and what to expect. She left the room, let me change and get comfy, and then she came back in a few minutes. She started the facial by getting an in-depth understanding of my skin history and what I was looking for. She explained the products she was using [love the Code of Harmony + the Osmosis products she used!] She did a thorough cleanse, a light enzyme to remove dead skin cells, light extractions [I asked for this, since I prefer to relax instead], then she did gua sha which was heavenly! She finished by double masking, one was more for detoxing and the other was for hydration. The products she used at the end were hydrating, but lightweight. I highly recommend going to Natalie, and the facility in general. Ive been a client for electrolysis and skin care since around November 2017. Oksana (electrologist) is very gentle, is extremely knowledgeable, and has a sweet demeanor. Marissa (aesthetician), is friendly and gives amazing facials and skin care advice. The prices for both services are decent. I highly recommend this place!

Hi, my name is kayley. im 18 years old and i had really bad acne before coming here. my aunt is the one who recommended me about it. when i started my process with natalie my face .was very inflamed that she was scared to touch my face because it was so sensitive. ive tried so many different products like going to professional places like HAND AND STONE for an acne facial, or use dermalogica, neutrogena, acne med, proactive ex. nothing worked for me... if anything it got worse. after going to her for about 3 months now i have smoother and less inflamed skin. i see so much of a difference from i started a couple months ago to now. i would really recommend coming here if you have really bad acne. this place is amazing. :)))))

Some employees are so rude. literally rude, it seems like owner backing them up, deal your own clients and say whatever you want. Specially facial lady have no manner (Marrissa) she shouldnt be working here. If for some reason you cant keep her appointment she will bash you why you cancel and probably at one point she might not take you no more. ( eventhough they have 24 hour cancellation policy) WOULDNT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL.... SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.... GO WHERE PEOPLE TREAT YOU NICE.

I go to MY Skin Care for peels with Natalie and have gotten 3 there so far and its been a great experience. All of my questions were answered, my concerns were addressed and she really took the time to talk to me about my skin and its progress before starting.

Ive been going the skin care center since we moved to nj 5 years ago. Theyve got best products and service. Personal is very knowledgable, caring, experienced and friendly. If you have an issue talk to them and I promise they will have a solution. I highly recommend the place. I converted all of my friends and they thank me every time they visit the salon.

I followed the idea of having a lash lift procedure for a long time as I followed this company, My Skin Care & Electrolysis, on social medias for months while contemplating whether or not to do it. I thought this place would be a safe, capable establishment. I finally called, spoke with a friendly reassuring person, Marina, on the phone, and finally made my appointment to visit the Fair Lawn facility of My Skin Care & Electrolysis.I had also read reviews about their technician, Oksana, from other patrons as well as been given good recommendations. However, upon arriving to their secluded little office with its barely-name-labeled door, tucked away in the back recesses of some random office building in Fair Lawn, I entered exactly at my appointed time, looked to the reception desk and was greeted with a careless, disgust-filled set of blues eyes that relayed non-interest and listlessness when she looked at me. There was no greeting, there was no hello, only a slurred, apathetic murmur of my name... Well, this is certainly a case of when the eyes have it because this chicks eyes clearly was not having me and evidently denied me from being serviced. She stated that I did not need a lash lift and that my eyelashes were already curly and that there was no need for me to fill out any new customer paperwork. Apparently, Miss Oksana had made it clear to me that she was not going to do me, particularly. When I questioned her about the lash lift perm, which to me means releasing the curl from the hair shaft, (straightening), in this case the lash hair shaft, she quickly denied it and said it makes your lashes curly. WHATEVER—I mean, I just wanted my lashes to be visible, to pop my eye appearance, to be vivid, as they could have used a little enhancement. Just like every other eye ball photo they listed on Instagram. My eyes were no different—except for one thing...and I think you know what I mean. Either way, the attitude and the look in her eyes coupled with her negative energy was enough to warn me that this was and should not happen with this person in this facility. When I let her know that I knew she was being discriminative in some sort of way, she immediately said, no, no, Ill do it , I can do it...I simply bowed out graciously as I thought in disgust, is she kidding me? Does she think now, after all of this, That Id actually let her touch me?! My precious eyes!! Heck no! She couldve blinded me or simply have done a poor job just to prove how inefficient of a candidate I was for a lash lift. I left immediately. When I finally returned home, I called their other location number listed on their website and it was Marina. Long sorry story short—she basically co-signed for Oksana, LOL, not a surprise! I hung up. In hindsight, there was no prerequisite before when I called and asked questions. None listed on their website or social medias only come on in we can do it. I drove 30 minutes each way to get to this dump and this encounter took less than 40 seconds. I do not recommend this facility or this company to you if you are a person of color or mixed race who is healthy, happy, athletic or prompt. I am all of these things and look at how they treated me. FAIR WARNING: Not fair in Fair Lawn to all pretty brown eyes.

I am a microcurrent devotee. That said, when my regular aesthetician moved far, far away (upstate NY) I was devastated. I set about the daunting task of finding a new place I can call my skincare home.I found this place through a google search and was so excited and hopeful that it would be a good fit. Very hard to find a place in NJ that offers this service and at such a reasonable price- $120. I booked an appt with Marissa for a microcurrent and LED treatment.I am 1 day post treatment and all I can say is Wow.She is a PRO. Like I said initially, I am a HUGE fan of microcurrent. I could tell as soon as she started the treatment that she knew what she was doing.Performing microcurrent requires knowledge of facial structure and anatomy- she definitely knows her stuff and has very skilled hands- I also have to say their machine packs a punch. I also really loved that she had the gloves- she was able to really pull my muscles up and get into certain spots.I knew as soon as she was done that I would like the results, I felt everything lift.I am 1 day post procedure and I look AMAZING. This was definitely confirmed by the amount of admiring and lingering looks I got multiple times today being out and about in NY.For the first time in awhile I felt I had my sexy back.Microcurrent results are cumulative so I know if I look this great after just 1 treatment with her, another 2 months in I am going to look that much better.The treatment was a great experience and Marissa was very personable, sweet and friendly.I booked a facial and microdermabrasion 2 weeks from now and 2 weeks after that another microcurent session.If my upcoming experiences are anything like my first visit, I will be happy to regularly give them my business as well as recommend them to friends.They are located very conveniently near several major highways, finding the spa was a snap.They have a big lot and I did not have trouble finding parking.Their office is clean. They offer a lot of options for skincare products and carry a line of makeup as well.Microcurrent is AMAZING, I call it gym for the face.That said, to keep the results, you have to go regularly for a facial. (Once every 4-6 weeks in my opinion.) Totally worth it, the health benefits of microcurrent are endless- if youre looking to combat signs of aging and look and feel refreshed- do your homework on the procedure.When youre done with doing your homework, book an appointment and be consistent with it- youll become hooked as well.Happy!
