Company was called out for an estimate to have trees taken down, chipped, and trees removed. Quote was given of $4000 and work was scheduled. Workers showed up and person in charge said they couldn’t do the work for 4000 and it was now gonna be 6500. They were told well the quote was for 4000 and if not we’ll have to go elsewhere. Guy got upset and went out and started cutting trees with the workers. Company left all the trees knocked down whole, not trimmed and chipped, laying where they dropped. Company sent person who did estimate to collect money. Do not hire this company. Bait and switch and very unprofessional

Jared from JP Stearns came and quoted me for the removal of 3 white pines. He had the best quote and fastest turnaround time so we hired him. He showed up earlier than he stated and got right to work later joined by Brad and another guy from A-Team Tree. They climbed cut and removed the three trees and cleaned up pretty much all the sticks and debris from my yard. While they were working my neighbored hired them to remove a tree from their yard. All in all my three trees and my neighbors tree and some branches too about 6 hours in the rain/wind close to the house and power lines. They did a great job and Id recommend them and use them again in the future if the need arises.

All I can say is Wow. A Team came today and slaughtered 17 trees in 7 hours. Some big boys in the mix too. All right next to my house and some leaning over it, pretty close to my neighbors garage as well. Guys came in and strategically dropped these trees like tree whisperers.Our deal was made on quote day. They were to come in, drop the trees, chip up most the brush, and cut trees to manageable size to for me to handle. I told him I would handle most the clean up. I did this to keep the price down. Also I wanted to keep the wood. They did an excellent job cleaning up and they didnt even need too. They gave me a great price and would have had the job done in less then a week if didnt postpone the first appointment.Enough said, great job guys. Best pricing around for this type of work. He is the best, and he listens to what you have to say and what you actually want done for service. Why very competitive pricing, because Brad is a tree climber and doesnt have to maintain expensive tree equipment, like bucket boomers, hence much lower overhead maintenance costs. He has ropes, safety harnesses, chainsaws and off he goes. Brad is very skilled at what he does for his age. The wood chipper is the best around, an 18 inch bite to the log, wow. One the most important features about his business, is his ability to take trees down in tight areas and hard to reach places where tree service equipment cant get to, such as on small house lots, narrow driveways, etc. Like I said earlier, hes the best around and his cleanup crew as well.

Ok heres the story of my cat and a GOOD Samaritan! My cat was in a tree for 2 days. I started calling around no one called back and the one guy I got through to said $200 .,I thought your crazy,its only 40ft. My neighbor got some work done by the A-Team and I took them as a referral. They provided the cheapest quote and the service was excellent. A friend of mine, affiliated with a competitor that also submitted a quote for my work, had to admit the A-Team did a great job !The job was challenging. I needed 2 trees removed. One was maybe 25 feet high and had grown diagonally over my fence and was covering most of my neighbors garage. The other was easily 50 feet high and surrounded by another neighbors garage, my shed and my jacuzzi. These trees had to be dropped in a very small area, which in my opinion, required significant skill.These trees came down efficiently, effectively and professionally. Im very happy with their service !

I called this tree service for a quote on some tree pruning that I needed done on my property. This pruning included the removal of several large branches from a maple tree on my property. Moreover, some of these branches that I needed gone were the size of small trees themselves. However, when I told him that I just needed pruning only and not tree removal he sounded all deflated in his response. In other words, because I didn’t need to spend thousands of dollars to have my tree removed, I apparently wasn’t giving him a big enough job to do. He politely took down my contact information but never called me back to set up an appointment.Perhaps he should just make it easier for the next potential customer and state that he only performs big jobs only. By the way, l went with another tree service and had the work completed. No job was too small for them.

I inquired by text on a quote for tree removal and received a call from A team. Their representative flipped out and started swearing at me (multiple expletives) that I bothered him and just needed to pick a tree service blindly and not inquire on multiple quotes. I had contacted three companies and just hated the compare ( any due diligence that an average consumer would undertake). I would never recommend this company based on its horrible customer service (especially when trying to call a customer to solicit business). If A team can’t handle a basic conversation and treat prospective customers with respect, I can only imagine the actual service it provides. Avoid being told off and sworn at, just call anyone else.Mike’s Tree Service has blunt customer service but A Team makes them look like a 5 Star customerly friendly tree service company.Owner is a pathological liar.
