I have been going to Dr. Mark Shimao for YEEEAAARRRSSS!! Nearly 20 years, since I was in elementary. Now my children go there and we live near quite a few dentist offices and I refuse to go anywhere else. No matter how far I live, I still go all the way to Ewa Beach for him and his staff! Lori is super understanding and does her best to accommodate your busy schedule as well as your children’s school schedule. Dr. Shimao is super straight forward but he is also super funny. My kids are comfortable there just as I was when I was little and that’s what makes it much more relaxing knowing my family and I are in great hands!

I have been a patient of Dr. Shimao since I was in the fourth grade and now I’m nearing my second high school reunion so if you do the math it’s almost been over 15 years. They make me feel like a part of the family and I don’t see myself going to anyone else. Since I moved into town, I tried setting up with another doctor that was closer to me in the phone book. They recommended extra work on my teeth and that I didn’t need. The outcome of that was having to get a root canal because of their poor work. A root canal that I never needed just for their own gain. I swore never to go to another place that I found in the phone book out of convenience again. My teeth is not perfect (li hing gummy bears and chocolate covered gummy bears is a stable in my diet) but he has been taking such great care of them that I don’t see myself going elsewhere. Worth the 45 minute drive from town anyday. Thank you to Dr. Shimao, Lori, and everyone there for their awesome work.

My very first visit was about 2 weeks ago when i needed my tooth pulled. Lori was very helpful and made sure that i get seen that very same day. What i meant was i called right after my work which is 8am and i am not a client yet at their office. They told me to come at 10am and by 11am i was done.All of them was very friendly and nice.I cant thank them enough for being such accomodating and kind.My second visit was for cleaning...Janet was the one who took care of me.She made sure that i know whats going everytime..And she did a really good jiob...I highly recommend this place...
