A friend and I were hooking up our speakers and blew a fuse. We spent all day looking for this fuse and no one had it. We went to Foss and they didnt have that specific one but were able to upgrade us for very cheap. Spent time to help us and genuinely wanted to help and see us succeed at doing it ourselves for the most part. Although he help A LOT LOL! Definitely recommend this place!

Excellent service. Nice work on putting tints on my car. They dont have AC in the waiting area so if it is a hot day, try going to the nearby Panera Bread. Kind workers. Since I arrived early and it was a hot day, the worker let me inside the workshop where there is an AC. Recommend this shop to everyone.

Came to get a speaker rewired and expected nothing more. Left with two new front speakers under the price I expected to pay just for labor.The whole team was excellent, fit me in last minute and did the job right. I’ll be back for all my audio and tinting needs.

Horrible time management and communication skills. Took my car in at 10 am for a component door speakers and DSP Amp install...its now 6:15 pm and theyre just finishing up the doors, nothing on the amp yet. They have time to sell and finish other jobs before completing mine. I would expect a rushed job given these actions not quality. First they told me 5-6 hrs. now just sitting around with no updates unless I ask. At 9+ hours they should be paying me for my time. No apologies either. If Im spending $2,000 + i would expect more focus on my job. Feeling very disappointed and disrespected. Would not recommend.Update. Finally got an update. Sorry that the installer with diabetes got sick and had to go home. Thanks for calling in an installer from another store to help. Thanks for the free crossover upgrade. Telling me all of this 9+ hrs into this debacle is still poor customer communication and service. Still waiting.

Great tint, good price, great service, good guys. I had them tint my car earlier in the year, but had one of the windows smashed recently. They replaced it for free under their 2 window warranty. Joe and Wade took good care of me. Will recommend them for car tinkering for sure.

FOSS audio in Everett is a fantastic place to get you’re vehicle serviced. The staff is friendly and professional. Joe is a top notch guy who cares about his customers and his work. He quoted me a few hours to do fog lights just in case, but said they’d try to get it done faster. They got it done in one hour and didn’t try to charge me more than that. I purchased window tinting from Groupon for my truck. I was met by a friendly front office manager Joe who really took the time to get to know his customers and was very friendly and outgoing. He introduced me to Kyle who would be doing the tinting. Kyle was tremendous to work with. He was knowledgeable and explained the process and timeline. He was spot on and the end job was perfect. So perfect, my wife saw my truck when I got home and wanted the same service on her SUV. So as you can imagine, I purchased another tint job for her SUV and was even able to schedule the service for the following day. Same repeat process, same professional results. Really enjoyed my experience at Foss Audio & Tint Everett!

My husband is getting a remote start system installed in his car and this is by far the best place to go. We tried the usual places like best buy and car toys but were quoted a couple hundred dollars more than what this place charged us. The owner was super helpful and didnt try to upsell us stuff we didnt need. They also arent booked out for appointments. We will definitely be back for any other car needs.

Foss in Everett recently installed a backup camera, new head unit, and speakers in my vehicle. On Saturday, I stopped by the store and worked with Ed, the owner. He was very thorough at asking specific questions about what I was looking for in a system. He put together a higher quality system, at a much better price than any of the competitors. I was able to get an install appointment on Monday. Luke did an excellent job installing. An example of his attention to detail was a plastic clip that was cracking on the inside of the door panel. He could have easily gone for the fast and easy solution and just super glued something to hold it together. But instead he fabricated a bracket and mechanical attached it along with hot glue to ensure that it permanently stayed in place.Overall, they do great work at a great price. I will definitely give them more business in the future.

Joe was nice, but it was hard to just get simple pricing for an amp and sub install from him. Hes rather long-winded and tends to trail off on random topics. I kept having to redirect him back to my questions. Took nearly an hour just to get a quote. Need to speed the process up and get to the point. It took 10 minutes at Car Toys, install done same day.

Very pleased with my experience here. I recently purchased a used car and some of the speakers were blown out. I explained I didnt want anything fancy, just for them to sound normal, and they happily obliged without trying to upsell anything. They were the 5th car stereo place I called on the phone, and the only one who didnt just quote me for all 6 speakers; instead, they said theyd need to look at it to assess, and that assessment turned out to cost less than the other estimates I got. (Only two speakers needed to be replaced.) I know very little about this particular subject and their honesty was so appreciated. I will absolutely come back here if I have any other car stereo needs, and I will recommend them to any folks who might be looking. Oh, and the speakers sound great :)

Foss Audio installed a in dash navigation/Apple car play with a backup camera on my work truck. I called them in the morning to ask about pricing and scheduling and I had my truck done that same day. The quality and price was great. I’d definitely recommend this company. Before you start comparing prices with other companies. You should see how other guys connect wires. These guys soldered all of the wires. They take their time but do quality work that will last.

The staff was incredibly friendly, I was surprised at how much time they took to explain the cost and the options to me and I learned a lot about sound systems. Getting in my car for the first time after they installed my subwoofer left me amazed and vastly exceeded my expectations. Joe (one of the workers) even gave me some really good song recommendations to go along with it.

Just picked up my car after Luke installed a subwoofer in the trunk of my 2017 hybrid which a few shops said it would make the work more difficult or just wasn’t something they could do. Luke from the jump didn’t try to up sell on more equipment then I needed and got the perfect setup for my needs and my car, way better then I expected the sound to be! And I walked out for less than I thought I’d spend which is even better. These guys are for real and the price and quality is beyond on point.

Horrible customer service, these people don’t know how to treat anyone right or do they’re own jobs. I had scheduled my appointment a week prior came in at 10 o’clock when I was told to to find out that he had told everyone else to come in at 10 o’clock and leave their cars with no explanation or time as to when you would get them back not much of an appointment scheduled huh then secondly I come to find that I’m not even on the schedule and no one knew. He just tells me to leave my car there and he will call me when it’s done with no timeframe as to when it will be done because there’s all these other cars as I stated above I had made an appointment a week prior obviously you guys do not know how to do your jobs or treat a customer right at all good luck with business at your establishment because you guys are going to go nowhere down the drain fast

These guys are awesome. I bought 2 groupons to get my wife’s and my windows tinted. Honestly I was skeptical about the quality of work and customer service we would get was. I was wrong. Kyle gave her a deal on her already paid for group on. I stayed after because I wanted to talk about getting a stereo. Luke and Kyle helped me pick out a subwoofer, amp and deck which they gave me a great price on. Then I brought truck back to get the windows tinted a few days after. I was unaware the back window counts as 3. Mike said no problem and they’d make it work with the cash I had in my pocket. Mike also upgraded my tint for because they were short on what I wanted. Screw car toys! I’m coming back here for all of my future needs! I was treated with the same courtesy and respect with all 3 of the different employees I spoke with. Had a head unit installed, Job wasn’t done properly.Lifetime warranty? I don’t think so, was a great company years ago. Someone else must’ve bought it and changed things. Won’t stand by their work. Offered to buy me off to not write this review.Wants to charge me to fix the problems it has.Why can’t they just stand behind their work?I strongly suggest going anywhere else but here, sadly I was screwed over by this business, don’t be a statistic.Update: comments from the owner are a fabricated lie. None of the parts are defective.I took it apart, found the poor soldering job and repaired it. Stay away from this business, and find a professional you will be much better off.

I am currently waiting for them to finish installing a pioneer double din and install kit I bought on Amazon. They are treating me as if I bought the items from them, and I dont get the feeling of the trying to drain my bank account, like theyre not so friendly neighbor on 4th street.So far they are friendly and seem to know what they are doing..I will update after installing.

I don’t know how these people got such a high rating from others but a $550 deck cost $930 in the store and the guy that was behind the counter would not let me see the price plus it took him five minutes to tell me how much it costs rather than just looking it up he was deciding how much to charge me. Also he told me it would be $250-$300 to do a simple deck swap and that price is on top of the $930 he wanted to charge me for the deck. Trust me on this one I went to Sound Advice and they sold me the exact same deck the only difference is they had to order it for me and they installed it for a grand total of $820 out the door. I even asked the guy at Sterling how much she would charge for an install if I did not buy it there and he said it would be even more than the 250 to 300 because I didn’t purchase the deck there. So he was wanting to charge me $350 to do a very simple deck installation. I didn’t even want the deck inside of the dash! And everything is already hooked up to the old deck in there! All I wanted was an under dash mount which I would provide and he just has to swap the decks out! This guy is a joke. I will never ever buy anything from these people

Excellent experience! I would definitely recommend - and heres why:So I went in last week and spoke with Jeremy. He listened to what I wanted and together we came up with a plan and I was ready to commit. We worked out another day this week (today) for me to come in and drop off the car.So I come back in and Jeremy isnt in the store. So instead, Kevin helps me out - hes already talked to Jeremy and knows what Im looking for. After showing me the head unit and having a moment to play around with it I really wasnt feeling happy with the device. It was expensive and just didnt do what I wanted it to do. Kevin was totally patient and helped me figure out a different angle to get what I really wanted.After nailing down the details I walked out the door having saved around $300 from the original plan - plus I got the functionality that i really wanted. The installation was perfect and he took the time to go over the features and settings for my head unit and back up cam.Heres the bottom line: all of these guys really care about what they do - and that shows in their attitude and the quality of their products and services. I certainly wont be trusting anybody else with my car audio from now on.

Outstanding, these guys *ROCK*, Im a 53 yr. old male and a brand new Volvo X90 and the stock system just wasnt cutting it. I wanted something more without breaking the bank. I did my research and stumbled upon these guys and Josh I believe was very knowledgeable and everyone one there including himself were extremely nice and presented everything in a very understandable platform. My ride home was the best ever, Thanks a million and I’ll be returning to do some more upgrades.

The place kinda feels less personal now as Jeremy was very friendly and informative and now it feels like just another place of business; a bit less personal for sure.I have had Jeremys guys install audio equipment twice now, and both times they did an excellent job and were very quick about it. The pricing is fair, and Jeremy is a really nice guy. From now on, any time I need audio work done on a vehicle, I will take it to him. I dont see how you can go wrong taking your vehicle here. Went in to get a cable that i didnt know the name of. Explained it in vague terms and the employee got me the cable, and gave me some tips on other problems i had with my car stereo. Got home and put it back together and gained some knowledge on the way. Good place

Caution: Be a bit specific when looking at this companies reviews. If you’re looking for window tint, it appears they have a quality process and product (vast majority of reviews). But targeting audio, another story, and that was my unfortunate experience. I was looking to do a whole car makeover (subs, box, amps, and highs). I will say, that while onsite, the gentleman that helped seemed attentive, and nice, but through the whole process, never discussed a single “product”, not a brand, type, model, nothing. I continued to ask (ok, what would you do? What are my options?)....open to ideas...nothing. I asked for some type of quote (provided my budget, to help him work backwards towards a setup). Was a generous budget. We then sat at the desk, he went though the computer for a while (still no specifics/ideas). No quote. He said he’d call and email a quote in a couple days. Followed up multiple times...nothing. Apologies for wanting to spend thousands in your store. Word of advice; develop processes and invest in CRM or other mechanisms to allow for your sales department to remain accountable to following up, while management can review and manage that process more efficiently. I hear a lot of complaints about paying more at Car-Toys, but I will happily pay more to ensure that while I’m there; we look at product, bounce ideas, get a quote, have an install date in one visit, or have opportunity for inbound and outbound engagement from the salesman after my visit, should I chose to think about it. Keep pumpin’ out those tints boys, it’s likely the tent pole holding that place up. Good luck!

This place is really big, has a lot of high-end products and also does ignition interlocks. The guys here really know what theyre doing.

I shopped around big time. Sterling Audio came out on top every time. If you are thinking about going to Best Buy or Car Toys, then I really suggest you give these guys a try. Id take an owner-operated small business over some billion dollar franchise, any day. Price + customer service + quality, all 100%. Zero complaints! They installed remote start, keyless entry, and an alarm on a 2017 Toyota Tundra.
