Ive been homeless and struggling on my own without help from any of these resource centers for going on 6+ years and Ive reached out to COUNTLESS organizations for a support group and assistance in hopes that they can at least point me in the right direction that doesnt lead me in circles, but to no avail. These organizations are funded hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to help us yet here I am homeless and its been a hobby/job going into these places everyday just to get the run around and no help. My hardships have hardships, I have no family to reach out to, assets and resources are completely gone and I have multiple disabilities that prevent me from holding a job. I honestly feel like this world does not want me here. Something HAS to change.

Caring and compassionate Staff. The professionalism and understanding that I received from Jesse, my case worker, was truly impressive. Some agencies tend to make a person in need explain not only their circumstance but also the invasiveness of WHY a client needs help and at other places I often times feel judged because of circumstances. That wasnt my experience at Aurora. While being professional and objective, Jesse was also compassionate in the way he posed the questions they needed answered for qualification. I cant speak highly enough about Aurora and the amazing work they do. I dont know if all of their caseworkers are as kind as Jesse, but Id make a safe bet that they are. 10 Stars they deserve instead of just 5.

Let me sleep there in my vehicle if i could help these people help more people i would. I have some issues and they worked with me. I would suggest they recieve nonprofit. Awesome... They could find the right people to get a parking for ppl in cars permit setup these would be the ones helping tje homeless and they do not discremineate. Thank you aurora

Dropping off gifts for the homeless was probably easier this year, even, than in years past. Friendly, cheerful folks meet you at the door and make sure everything is in order so the person you shopped for receives what you purchased for them. Information to go off of is clear & self explanatory.

This place has been stringing us along since August.. We have laid outside in cold tents being rained on no way to shower or make or keep food they came out over and over gave us blankets and a very small bag of snacks.. I have left 38 messages begging Natasha to call me back.. Back in August we was told we was eligable for 1st months rent and deposit to move in a home but we had to find a landlord willing to rent with help from Aurora we found 3 different landlords to agree let Aurora help us move in .. But Aurora ignored all of mine and all 3 Landlords messages so they had to rent to others.. Its so cold and this is cruel they have just knocked us off the map for help like we are not important i have a 7 year old downsyndrome daughter and a 10 year-old son I cant even be with because I still have no help no home someone please help me

I have a close friend who lives in a facility that is affiliated with Aurora. This particular piece has bats in the attic and mice that run along the inside of the walls. The families that live there deserve better then that. Its pretty ridiculous knowing that families in need have to deal with having four legged roommates. Something needs to be done about this ASAP children have live there.

Wonderful organization that works primarily to provide housing assistance. They also provide community outreach to address various other needs. The have an excellent program to prevent reentry and recidivism into the jail or prison system which saves both money and dignity for our community.

Aurora services truely do make positive differences in their clients lives. Its a partnership, it is not a free ride, clients must do their part BUT Aurora has & continues to contribute to assisting the homeless. This non profit business should be supported by everyone in the community because Aurora makes a positive impact on our city!

These are some of the hardest working and giving folks in the tristate helping homeless and fresh out of prison to get back into a established home and life! Check them out! Volunteer! Or Donate if you can we all thank you

Im 73 years old and live in Georgia. I have a son in Evansville, who has been struggling with drugs. Aurora has helped him, but he needs to help himself too. Hes in jail now. At least I know that hes warm and fed. Thanks to you people at Aurora for helping Mike as much as you did.

I was homeless it was very cold out and didnt have any help from no one !!! Finally I found out this place and with 3mths I finally got into housing with there help!!! I called everyday so dont give up stay on top of them do what they ask and they will help you!!💯☺️

If youre homeless, Aurora is the place to go. They cant fix it financially but they will help you in so many other ways. You just have to be willing to be open and honest. Trust the process, these people know what theyre doing.

Really caring people who actually care about the homeless. They can always use donations of socks, pants,shoes and sleeping bags. Buy some bus tokens and donate today, tell them Michael sent you.

Well I hear that alot of people r gettin HELP FROM THEM AS FAR AS HELPING THEM GET OFF THE STREETS, FROM BEING HOMELESS. AND I THINK THATS GREAT, BUT WE R ACTUALLY HOMELESS AURORA CAME TO US IN OUR CARS!!! BUT !LL WE GOT ANY HELP ON SO FAR WAS JUST FILED APP. OUT FOR HOUSIN APARTMENTS WAIT LIST!!!!!!THEREFORE WE R STILL IN OUR CARS AND ITS RUFF, ESPECIALLY WHEN BBN ITS THIS JOT OUT.BUT I PRAY TO GOD, THEY CAN HELP US AS WELL!!!!!!

They do basically nothing ve been waiting for 9 month and all I have been told for 9 months is they do not have funding people please do not give your money to them or donate anything theyhandout some Waters and some bars of soap they do not help you find a place just that they will come and visit you under the bridge or sleeping at but its only just because they want to see misery I guess surely not to help its been 9 months Ive been waiting and watching I am going to contact the city council to see how their state funding and federal funding and county funding is coming along because Im laid off my unemployment is about to run dry
