I have been a customer here for almost a year now, and it is always a pleasure to deal with Computers Plus. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Doesnt belittle anyone for there knowledge or lack of knowledge on Tech, and make the knowledge they know very palatable for someone not so technologically advanced. Great place to go to get great service

As a legitimate business they are a part of the scalping problem going on with GPUs. Went in looking for a GPU and they had a 3070 and 3080 in stock. 3070 was double MSRP. 3080 was listed for $1799. What kind of business does that. That’s more than double MSRP. In my honest opinion I think it’s shady and unethical considering they very likely got it for vendor price.

Nothing in stock that I wanted. Only the inferior product, as in I want model Gold, and they only have Silver and Bronze. And price of Bronze is same as Gold online. Only good in a pinch, or if you don’t know much about computers.

The restaurant was very busy they had a lot of customers but they had plenty of employees to take your orders I got the Carols chicken classic chicken classic Carol and it was good I kind of like my chicken salad a little sweeter but they have like eight styles of chicken salad to choose from maybe even more than that so I will be going back again trying another style I got my chicken salad on a croissant croissant is a huge croissant very fresh and it was delicious it was plenty of chicken salad on it they dont skimp on that. I definitely will go here again and do the local management great staff great food and thank you

Dude I love this place. I am greatly welcomed every time I go in. When they arent busy they love to talk to you about anything computer related. I love the staff. Great parts for their retail prices.

I rarely (don’t think I have ever) leave bad reviews as I understand everyone has bad days. I had Computers Plus transfer data from my hard drive to an external drive. After being assured everything transferred successfully, I sent the computer to be repaired for another issue, where they wipe the drive.When I went to check the contents of the external hard drive, none the files from the desktop had been transferred, causing tens and tens of thousands of data loss. When confronted, the general manager, claimed they did their jobs successfully and hung up on me. The communication was poor throughout.UPDATE: I received a call from the owner, which I appreciated. We discussed what may have caused the issue and he assured me they focus on customer service and will work to improve.

Absolutely embarrassing for a retailer to straight up scalp graphics cards at more than double MSRP. Literally everything in the store is marked up over retail price, even common and easy-to-find components like processors, hard drives and cases. Save your money or just hit up Best Buy down the street.

Nice enough employees, but in the current GPU market dont waste the gas driving here. Selling Zotac 3060s for $899.99. I can imagine anything else they get is marked up just as bad. Anyone can make a simple google search or two and find out these guys are essentially scalping but on a business level. Dont overpay and leave them holding these cards

Prices that would make an eBay scalper blush. I understand raising prices on high demand items, but twice the MSRP?! (1300 for a 3070, are you serious?!) If this is how you run a business I am absolutely astounded youve been open this long. Also how does a computer shop manage to have an absolutely broken website that barely functions? That doesnt inspire confidenceWill absolutely never do business here and will advise everyone I know to avoid. This is a very competitive market sector and if you cant even separate yourself from teenagers on StockX trying to make quick cash youve already failed as a business. Very very disappointing from a local business. This is why amazon and best buy dominate the market.

I have to start with the woman who initially greeted me was very pleasant.I brought a laptop in to have a diagnostic ran after the screen had been failing to come on. After 2 weeks of requesting a diagnosis of why this is happening I was met with I just needed to pay for the screen (of course, expected) and that a cord needed to be replaced just in case. After asking for further explanation and trying to make sure it was necessary they refused to send me an email with the details of the diagnostic, or email at all about it and basically just said it is what it is.Their policy is to charge you for a diagnostic of your equipment whether you decide to fix or not, totally fair. But I would highly recommend going elsewhere to actually get information on what and why something is wrong with your electronics.No one likes icky sales people who just try to make you feel like everything is wrong just so youll pay for more.

This Place has been great for us as a small business they helped us with going over from a PC computer to Macs and with their lifetime warranty on the computer this is the best place to go when buying all of your computer needs

Super friendly and talented staff.

This place did not handle my boyfriends order well at all. He tried to buy a video card and they charged his account twice. After this they said it was their fault and after the charges dropped they’d call back and let him pay for it over the phone. He called back 4 days later and they told him it was his fault the card declined and that they had sold the card he was promised. Do not waste your time or money on these people.

This business is terrible at communication. I ordered a graphics card online and saw shortly after they had double charged me for it. I called and they said it was an issue on their side and that the charges would drop off. The associate then told me that since I had tried to order the card he would put it back and call me at a later date to process the transaction. I called back four days later and they tell me the declined transaction was my fault and the card had been sold and they had no more available. Dont waste your time or money on these people.

Very knowledgeable staff. Great computer insight and knew their stuff. Prices are just a couple bucks higher than some of the online outlets but for immediate access you cant go wrong! Overall very impressed

We bought our son a gaming computer from a box store for Christmas and it wouldn’t even come on. Returned it and had to get an upgraded model. Within 30 minutes of getting it set up, two LED‘s burned up...smoke and all. A friend suggest going to Computers Plus and having one built. Sam helped us. He and the rest of the staff are amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly, and quick! Thanks again for saving my son’s Christmas!!!

I have dealt with several computer companies over the last 30 plus years and my experiences with computers and computer companies has run the gamut. So with this in mind I can give Computers Plus a 4 star rating. I had a little confusion over the recent forced Windows upgrade to Windows 10. They were a little slow out of the gate and gave me some unclear information on what it was going to cost. I got three different widely varying answers from three different people. I voiced my concerns and was contacted by a manager. He was very helpful and I have to say in the end they really came through for me and I thank them for that. Thumbs UP Computers Plus. I would recommend them.

N8ce store but insane prices

My brothers transaction was not handled well at all. He was told different things when he called. The first time he was told a graphics card would be held for him and they’d give him a call back to finish the transaction. The next time he called they said none were being held and they had none available. They totally wasted his time.

I am typing this review on my brand new, lightning-fast PC purchased from Computers Plus. I had originally brought my previous unit in for repair after it began habitually crashing, and after their technicians diligently attempted to revive it from numerous component failures, it became apparent I was just going to have to let it go... Lee was exceptional in helping educate me on the newest technologies and guiding me to a new unit best suited to my needs. The owner, Bill, even set up the new unit for me himself to operate as efficiently as possible; he clearly takes pride in the respectable business hes built. The rest of the staff I dealt with was always pleasant, polite, and ever-ready to help me in any way. I want to give another special thanks to Lee for stepping up to a difficult situation when my old unit become obviously unsalvageable and going above & beyond to ensure I left satisfied. Thank you, Computers Plus, for living up to your reputation; youve earned a life-time advocate with me!

The representative Jacob did not know what he was doing I was sent there trying to locate a battery for my laptop. They wanted to keep my laptop for 24 hours without even looking to see if they could get a battery for it and most likely charge a fee. If you dont look to see if you can get a battery why keep the laptop. You get the information from the laptop and then look to see if you can get a battery then once you get the battery then you keep the laptop to charge the battery. I have four indicators that the battery was bad there was no need to check the battery.

Fixed my issue. Took much longer then expected. Were very worried about making things right. Then they offer a very small discount. Computer now works great. They really did not want to replace what I wanted to replace. However replacing the part did fix the problem 100%. This was all followed by a survey where I asked to be contacted. That was a few weeks ago and no one ever got in touch with me. They will get your stuff fixed but the time frame may not be right.

I brought my laptop in to get repaired and it has been getting worked on for almost 2 months. I wouldnt have had a problem with that, if they had updated us on when it would be complete, and why it has been taking so long. We have called and visited multiple times throughout these past 2 months, and time and time again they tell us it will be completed tomorrow, in a week, etc. There is a new excuse/reason every time, and when we call they assure us that they will call us back when they have an update or when it was done, and that ended up happening one time. I simply disappointed in their service.

They lost all of my data on my laptop and I had all of my homework and many other important things like pictures of my nephew as a baby. Their communication is God awful and they lie about calling you back a billion times. If data is lost its not their problem, you obviously dont matter to them. I usually like supporting more localized businesses, but at this point youre better off going to Geek Squad to get help. They obviously didnt give a sh*t so Im never going there again.

Jeff ordered a battery for my moms laptop. It was Easter weekend, and we were told about 7 business days. The battery came in Tuesday, basically 2 business days after I had been in the store. The price was very reasonable and for $20 extra we were able to get a life time warranty, which made my mom very happy. The people are extremely helpful and friendly, and the location is easily accessible. I absolutely recommend Computers Plus. Thank you for all of your help!

I grew up in the era before computers so it has been a huge learning curve. WhenI needed my laptop fixed. The associates were are friendly, helpful and up front with all costs. They were fast and efficient. A big shout out to Marcus in the tech repair dept. He fixes computers all day long so he has to be brilliant! Not once did he make me feel dumb. He guided me through all my options and let me know costs on everything! I picked up my laptop and it works beautifully! Thank you!

So far I have had 2 computers built here and each time they did a great job. They have a great variety of products to chose from and if they dont have it they will order it. The people that work there seem to really enjoy their job and finished ahead of schedule.

I came here to get my old net book looked at. The staff were super nice and helpful. Looked at my computer and gave me a reasonable price to fix it. Staff were very knowledgeable, and educated me about my computer so I now know what I can do to prevent the problem. Thank you for all your help!!

Very helpful and informative

I visited this store to get a laptop for my son and the service was fantastic. We got personal service and attention. It is rare that you find quality personal service in any retail venue these days. Since the initial visit they have done 4 repairs on other computers and direct shipped some products to us at home. They have my complete trust and customer loyalty.

I informed someone at Computers Plus that I was in the market for a specific monitor that we had found on Amazon. Amazon says that it has next day shipping but after reading further, it also said that it typically ships within 1 to 2 months. Well, I ordered it through Computers plus in the middle of last week and it arrived yesterday!!! Any previous time that my fiance and/or I have been to this store, the staff has always been extremely polite, professional and they definitely know what theyre talking about! Use Computers Plus for all of your technology needs and then some!

Brought my computer in to have a CPU dropped. Their tech assured me he was A+ certified. Dropped the CPU in and the computer still did not boot up. He told me it was probably a dead Motherboard. For a couple weeks I worked with Newegg to get a replacement Motherboard sent to me. I have a friend who has been working in IT for 20+ years and I brought it to him. He said the motherboard was fine and checked the CPU. Sure enough the CPU pins are bent. Computers plus, despite having me buy the lifetime warranty, says Sorry if theyre bent it was because of you not us and I am officially out $120. We dropped a different CPU into the SAME motherboard and it booted up no problem. The only difference was the CPU. So I was sold a bad CPU or their tech bent the pins while putting it in. They have offered to bend the pins back which will make it a fully functional CPU again with no issues, except they cant take a return on it because it is a damaged product.

My past two experiences here have been so much better. Much faster service, and sales staff that knew what I was looking for. In the past I have been disappointed in the wait to get a simple part. It felt like they were always working with service customers, and it took a while to get those clients checked in or out. When I just needed a quick part this was a struggle, but the past two visits have been fast, friendly, in out shopping, which I like.

0/10. They told me they would hold back a product after their system messed up the transaction. I called back and they had sold my item to someone else and told me it was my fault. They have no respect for ones time.

Very helpful, clean and professional

I actually went here on a whim because I actually had a few friends who had bad experiences here years and years ago but all I can say is wow- this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately I do not remember the names of the two extremely kind and helpful women who assisted me, but they were both unbelievably kind and helpful. I dropped off my Mac Mini to have the hard drive swapped out for a 500 GB SSD. Not only was the staff very knowledgeable and helpful but they were very friendly despite me being over 2 hours late for my appointment. It was very affordable and priced well. They were done with the install in about a day and they threw in a discount on an extra service as well. Needless to say this is the only place in Evansville I’ll be going for now on. It’s nice to know that excellent customer service and people who take pride in their work still exist in this world.

My tech guy was very helpful

Would have given 5 stars, but the selection on parts is slim. Customer service is not the best in the world, but I was happy when I left the store. I did get what I came for, but would have spent more if they had a better selection of computer parts rather than putting the focus on selling pre built computers.

Definitely more like computers minus. Never will take anything to them. YouTube how to videos are more useful than bringing your computer to computers minus and getting charged for a diagnosis, then them fixing it without your permission, when you come back and they ask you for this large sum of money that you never agreed to pay.

I was sold a lifetime warranty and told if I ever have problems with my router to bring it in and I would get a credit for the amount I purchase the router to apply towards a new router. That was two years ago. This past week my router started dropping WiFi, so I upgraded the firmware from the manufacturer, and it continued to have problems. So I called the store they looked up my information said bring it all in and we will give you $100 credit to purchase a new router. Saturday morning rolls around I take the router into the store expecting to leave with a new router and go home to set up my network for the next few hours. Instead Im told that I have to schedule an appointment to have the router diagnosed by one of their technicians. Im leaving the store now pissed off they over-promise and under-delivered. So much for keeping my money local.

Our people!!! I do not think our family would cope well if we didnt have the folks at Computers Plus. Bought my laptop with their service warranty, our daughter bought her business one from there with service warranty. Our grandsons PC along with my husband has been to CP for repair and servicing. We all recommend it highly.

Over priced on merchandise in my opinion.

I was told to use Computers Plus for repairs because of excellent customer service. After this first experience, I will never go there again. Because I am still so livid over the rudeness, further damage to my laptop, and lost property, I will list...1. Hinge broke on my laptop (made of plastic). When I took it in, the man stated that I would be CALLED the next day with an estimate. (I looked at my drop-off receipt as well just now, and it does state, in writing, that I was to be CALLED).2. I was not called the next day. I was not called the next morning. I called and asked, and the man replied that I had been TEXTED the day before. I said that I had never received a text, and he simply stated that yes I had, according to their records.3. He then states, It doesnt matter anyway, because we texted to say that we cant get the hardware to fix the laptop. So there.. And yes, he did say so there.Strike 1.After thanking him for his friendliness, I told him I would pick up my computer today.4. When I picked up my computer, it was missing the protective cover I carry it in, EVERYWHERE. When I asked for it, I was informed that I didnt leave that with them. So, strike 2 for losing my cover.5. I took the laptop to another computer store, who, by the way, will fix it and were incredibly nice. However, upon opening the laptop slightly to demonstrate the issue, I realized that Computers Plus had removed the OTHER hinge...resulting in the entire screen being detached from the computer. Strike 3.I plan on writing this review anywhere and everywhere. And I plan on telling as many people as possible to never go to Computers Plus.

I got a great deal on a laptop for my wife. If we had any questions or problems the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, unlike most big-box stores. Highly recommended. Ill be back!
