Havent done business with them but however did call and was very honest and said upfront theu couldnt do it ..told.me where to call and even ballparked how.much it was gonna be and was real close ..so thanks for the honesty🤘

Grew up with my dad owning a garage most of his life. Have a personal car collection now and try to do most of what I can myself that I have time for, or my ability will go. Foreign Performance done a great job on engine and transmission out repair on my Porsche 911 turbo. Sent great pictures and a detailed estimate at the end. Also reasonable time frame. Price was reasonable too. Worked on a couple Jaguars in the past of mine as well. Was happy with the work there too. Good shop to take your ride to.

I have had my Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet serviced at Foreign Performance for several years, with some significant repairs. At my last visit for a routine service, the convertible top was damaged when a hose was detached and chemical was discharged up onto the rear window, creating an etched area permanently embossed into the window. After conversations with management, there was no interest shown in repairing this damage, which has resulted in my having to find a shop in Louisville to repair the damage caused by their technicians. The failure to accept responsibility for the damage they caused is beyond frustrating, and I will simply have to find another shop to take care of my car. Gerald Edds, MD, Owensboro, Ky.

They charged a little over $300 for a flipping oil change and diagnostic. They also gave my vehicle a death wobble because it never had one before the oil change. The lobby also smelled bad and they were NOT wearing a mask.

I told Foreign Performance what to look for as I had 2 friends who own automotive centers help me diagnose the problem. I said I found chewed fragments of wire, insulation and firewall foil under the VW TDI. And that I saw squirrels near the car. I said look for wire damage. I needed a car lift. They had one. They charged me $720.00 for what they said was 6 - 1/2 hours labor. Will never go back, I suggest you not do “your business” with them ! Unless you like loosing money ! Rodent wire damage repair restored power steering assist. Beware ! bring a chair and put a clock on your fix !

I took my wife’s Mercedes to have air conditioning checked. It would blow hot sometimes and sometimes cold. They called and said I needed a new alternator? I did not believe the alternator had anything to do with the air conditioning blowing warm. They had a bill which I didn’t pay for $197.00 for diagnosing this! I would not recommend this shop for anything! This is not the first time they have ripped me off but it will be the last!

Have taken my car here twice to be worked on. They do great work, but they will take at least a week to do anything and charge an arm and a leg for it. Front desk is not particularly friendly or attentive either. They didnt do a service on my car because they did not listen to me when I asked for it. Will no longer take my car here.

BEWARE! Charged $198 for an oil change in my girlfriends Audi SUV. Youre better off taking your car to Larrys Automotive in Newburgh.

Short version of long story. 2011 Porsche Cayman with an intermittent misfire. Two trips to Porsche dealer, supposedly fixed both times but not. Had someone from the local club recommend Foreign Performance. Was flying out of Evansville for a short golf trip. Dropped the car off and headed for the airport. Before my flight left, they called to tell me they had diagnosed the problem and were in the process of repair. Picked up the car when I returned. Fixed! This garage might not have a fancy building or service writers, what they do have is knowledge mechanics, friendly employees, reasonable rates and like me, happy customers. Thanks.

Called to get a quote for my vehicle to get work done. It took close to a day to get a quote i was told i would have soon.I finally got the information, and they told me they are going to overcharge me on the hours to do the work because they had gotten burned on a different customer. Even though the standards tell how much it should cost to do, i now have to pay more because their technicians are inefficient at their job. Didnt want to contact this place because of the bad stories i had heard, and now i know why.

A bit pricey but they didn’t screw me around like the other places tried to. Great customer service, the guy up front with glasses is super kind and professional. You get what you pay for.

The front counter person has always been very polite and helpful. They have done maintenance and repair on my Jaguar S Type since I bought it in 2009. They have always made the repairs in a timely fashion, and they have done an excellent job for me each visit.

In the past the front counter person clearly communicated and was considerate and helpful. Now, it is no longer a customer friendly environment. I couldnt wait to pay my $138 for an hour of diagnostic work with adetermination that I needed an additional 1.5 hrs of diagnostics. Which I believe would eventually confirm what I already knew, my air conditioning was not charging properly and my radio was shot.

Great experience with foreign performance. I have used them a multitude of times in last 20 years, never had any issues and always thrilled with their service.

These guys have been servicing our cars for about fifteen years now and we have always been very satisfied with the work. I highly recommend their business.

I guess they did what was asked. But it didnt really fix my issues. They cleared the error codes but the check engine light came right back on.

This place is a JOKE! Dont waste your time its better to just go to the dealership and get it done right even if it costs more. I went here and they took over a week to tell me they couldnt fix my car and I would need to take it to the dealer. Then on top of that after I paid the owner who was working that day he told me he had broken a few clips which cost me $88 extra at the dealer and he did not offer to give me a discount or my money back and then he told me he didnt put anything back he left all the parts in the trunk. I had to pay $274 for nothing wasted 2 towing trips and I disputed the charge and highly thinking about taking legal action. Dont waste your time. I wish you could leave no star, and I never leave reviews but I would rather people save their money and time. The final repair at the dealer cost me $2000 in parts and only $300 in labor almost as much as it cost me at this place for nothing. I could have used that money to pay my labor for the actual repairs to be done right. 👎

Fair warning- they will charge you $95.00 per hour TO LOOK at your car. I paid them $200 an brought my car back in pieces, literally. They will charge the full rate just to diagnose the problem WITHOUT FIXING ANYTHING. Ive NEVER known a repair shop that charges so much to diagnose the problem. I recommend taking your car elsewhere.

Had my Audi coolant leak diagnosed and fixed within 2 days for a fair price. Definitely recommend this place for those who have low trust in other mechanics.

The Manager is ridiculous and rude. 1st he quoted wrong amount for a service I needed. I contacted land Dealer to verify and they quoted me 200 less than what he said and they didn’t understand why he would tell his customers wrong information. This new manager has made foreign performance go down hill. I will taking my business to Dealership. The mechanic is awesome it’s unfortunate they have an incompetent manager who doesn’t understand the meaning of customer service.

I just made another appointment with this repair shop for my third car. So far theyve been excellent in taking care of the other two vehicles over the last two years. So it remains to be seen if they are consistent with my latest vehicle. They are very efficient and no nonsense. And the cost overall is reasonable. They really do specialize on foreign cars. I will post again after they are done with my latest one 2001 Mercedes 600.Off tangent: but wheres Julian? Im so used to having him take care of me at the service desk and on the phone.

Mr Patel cheated us out of 274.00 dollars and our diagnosis was correct. The problem with his car was a bad engine ecu. Only the dealer can program this new ecu. He cancelled payment on his credit card almost immediately. We have thousands of happy customers, A+ rating at the BBB, and almost 32 years in business. Im rating these place a zero. Brought my car in for a estimate was charged 214 before I approved any work. The Manager refused to let my car go over a $15 dollar battery. Even though it was my property & the charge was never on the estimate. I was made to pay in cash $860 before they would release my vehicle. I Tried to pay by credit card or check, But the owner refused payment & made me walk half a mile to the bank. Saying that if I did not pay in cash my car would not be released. I had called the police & they said do you treat all your customer like these! The owner looked and said, just the ones in a Mexican standoff. Honestly the most unprofessional group of mechanics I have ever seen. By the look of the reviews your business its failing in professionalism. I would never go back as a customer & would never recommend.*I was told by the manager that: I guess we are in a MEXICAN stand off. Referring to my nationality (Im Mexican By The Way) These people are racist & the most unprofessional mechanics ever. Wil be contacting the BBB & If your looking for honest people STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE BUSINESS!

Took Awhile before they Diagnosed my problem but they did fix it. I would go back again for Service!!

They charged me $283 to have my car diagnosed. They didn’t fix a thing & estimated 5k to fix my cylinder heads that were worn & a timing chain tensioner. 5k is just absurd.

Just my conversation over the phone was enough for me to decide not even to come in. The guy was either half asleep or just didn’t care. Condescending and rude. Didn’t care to deal with this business in person, given my interaction (or lack thereof) over the phone.
