We ordered our grass in November — it was beautiful and delivered quickly. After this crazy Texas cold snap (in February 2021), we had some questions about how to help it cope and received an immediate, comprehensive, thoughtful, and helpful response from Michele. Impossible to do business with. For the last 6 months Ive been checking in with them to see when I can get a pallet or two of Zeon Zoysia. I keep getting told its almost ready but they keep pushing back the ready date. Back when I called 6 months ago, they confirmed that although I was outside their normal delivery area, but they could still meet me somewhere or I could come pick up at their place. Today I called again and was told that I couldnt buy from them because I was outside their delivery area. So I told her my neighbors had bought from them and just picked up. Then she rudely told me that We dont do pickups because of the COVID-19 virus. Sorry, but this virus has been around for over a year, the rest of the state is doing business as normal, and now you decide you dont want to sell your product so you blame it on a virus? Sad!

Purchase and delivery were seamless and easy. However when I received the sod it was pretty noticeably dry. I installed a couple pallets of Grass Outlet St. Augustine in my back yard, and then a couple days later installed a couple pallets from another supplier. That second batch of grass was noticeably more lush and green when I got it, and is doing better (I put down starter fertilizer and watered daily for the first 7-10 days for both sets of sod, and they are in the same yard). I hope that the Grass Outlet grass catches up as the spring / summer moves on.

I bought 4 pallets of palisades zoysia from The Grass Outlet in early March and so far the entire process has been better than I ever hoped. I was a little unsure of the whole “buying something like a plant”online but every part of this process was very easy and thorough. From great and informative customer support to the delivery driver being on time and communicative, it was an overall great experience! I am very inexperienced with sod and this was the first time I’ve ever taken on a task like this but with their quality product and knowledgeable staff I’m positive everyone can do this. Thanks guys

I ordered 4 pallets of the palisades zoysia grass from them a day before the installation because the other place where I had originally ordered cancelled our order a day before due to rain at the farm where the grass was being harvested. I was concerned about the quality of the grass since I had never purchased here before, yet the whole process was seemless. The driver was on time, he called and asked where we wanted the grass placed and also called once he was done. I was impressed at how beautiful the grass, it was such a dark green. I highly recommend them.

Delivery was on time and sod was in great condition. Laid the sod and followed the helpful instructions that were provided by The Grass Outlet and it looks fantastic after 3 weeks. Completely changed the look of my yard for the better.

I feel kind of ripped off. Everybody was super nice dropping it off, but the bottom half of my pallet was extremely dry hidden in between some decent-ish grass.
