The guy who answered the phone is totally unprofessional. Instead of listening to my needs, my past experiences, he was touting that he was the VP and that he has been in the business for 27 years. I have been working in the IT field 10 years longer than him and yet he just keeps talking without listening to me and trying to shove a course which I already have experience in. He was more into bragging about himself than trying to meet the customers needs.

I had a very good experience with Computerminds. The office staff was easy to interact with, the course contact was good and the instructor knowledgeable. They handled pivoting to a totally virtual environment due to the pandemic very well. I took a total of 5 courses with them, and found all of the materials to be timely and relevant.

My experience at ComputerMinds for the PMP program was great. They have very knowledgeable teachers, effective distance learning and online study material and exam banks. Professional and friendly staff who always happy to help.

Because of Covid, the classes were done in-person online. Dr. Bell did a good job teaching the course and I completed 5 project management credentials within 10 weeks.

This is a best in class Training Organization. I really appreciate all the team did to help me during my training process, from the excellent training classes to preparation and exam scheduling. Thanks to the staff at this facility for their continued efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. While many certifying organizations are offering web proctored exams, its just less hassle and easier to go to a physical location. Good testing environment. Easy to schedule your exam, get setup with a desk, and walked through the process. Done in less than half an hour.

The girl in the front desk was very welcoming, the bath room was clean, the check in proces very easy, the environment was very calm with no distractions, parking right infront of the door which gives you enough time for final revisions before you go in. I reached out to them to schedule a time for me to come in to take a certification exam. They were able to get me in the next day. The woman who helped me, Ema, was very kind and professional. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing to sit for an exam.

Don’t bother bringing a pen/pencil, they give you a marker and a laminated sheet. There are 2 “computer minds” buildings that have a closed down “J’s Cornerstore” between them so make sure you choose the building with 112 on it, the other building is for training and have virtually no parking.

Excellent testing experience and great location right off the highway! Comfy seats, perfect temperature, large computer screens, quiet room, friendly staff that make the experience relaxing and not stressful, small lockers for your things, a clean bathroom, parking right out front. If I have to test again, I will use Computer Minds. Plus... they give you free earplugs to drown out sound. When you check in, you show both IDs, read and sign a form, have your palms scanned, a picture is taken, you sign your name digitally and on a paper log sheet, lock up your belongings, then they let you use the restroom and finally log you into the computer you test on. They are very thorough and experienced, so it flows smoothly! Great job, Computer Minds!

I had a great experience with one of my GED tests today. It was quiet, efficient and I was accommodated with a 100% score for customer service ! The testing room was lighted perfectly and very cool and comforting. The chairs were very comfortable. I am going back for my last 3 tests when I am ready for them. I would highly recommend this place for any testing. I was nervous and my fears just melted away in this environment ! Been taking IT tests there for about a 18 months now. The staff is courtesy, professional and flexible. Ive moved up tests several times, and they have able to accommodate the request. The testing center is comfortable (as can be taking a test). Parking can be crowded at times.

Went here to take multiple tests on different days, the chairs are leather and VERY comfortable, the receptionist is very kind. Instructions were very clear and the rooms were nicely cooled off from the heat. Overall excellent experience- I really recommend them.

From the first day of class, everyone was so supportive and helpful. It is a small environment, and the class discussions were easy to interact with. Chris Jones was an outstanding teacher, and his wife at the front desk was also wonderful. I was nervous going into my A+ exam, but after my experience at Computerminds, I would not hesitate to go back. They are truly awesome!!!

I heard about this place from one of the civilian contractors when I was stationed in Cuba. Figured Id go with them to get a few more certs and renew some old ones. Worth every dime and moment of my time to come here. The best synopsis I can offer is this: anyone can charge you to get prepped to memorize all the terms and concepts for a certification exam, but here you actually LEARN it, and they absolutely care that you retain and benefit from the knowledge instead of brain dumping it all after the test. Prabath, Chris Jones and Dr. Bell were fantastic people and Ill be going back to renew my certs in the near future.

I came here to take my fellowship exam.Parking: 3/5-limited, I remember there being about 8 spotsDecor: 3.5/5-looks like the interior is from the 90s-there are lockers to place your belongings. Please dont bring large bags ladies. It wont fit-They provide their own earplugs which were decentTesting Room: 3/5-I was seated in the server room so you could faintly hear a hum wearing earplugs-The chairs and desk combination do not work. The armrest of the chairs do not allow you to scoot up close to the monitors which are placed what seems like far back against the wall. Same goes the keyboard and mouse. It felt uncomfortable taking the test in that setting.Ive been to better testing centers. I chose this location due to close proximity.

I have always found the staff there to be extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating.Pearsons testing rules are very explicit and have to be followed by both parties. Period. I have never found them to unreasonable in facilitating special needs cases in every manner that is possible.What I have found, is a small group of very talented, highly dedicated, professional people that enjoy seeing people succeed and advance in their professional skills. I have attended the bootcamps and other training sessions, and have thoroughly enjoyed the personal interaction and helpful hands on training. I wouldnt go anywhere else for IT training or testing in the DFW area!

Ive worked with Computerminds and their staff for several years. I was a little sketchy on how their training classes would work out since Ive been to another training facility ran by a very well known networking guru. With a bad taste in my mouth regarding certification training, I went to a Windows 7 class along with a co-worker of mine who recommended this particular facility.After the first day of class with head trainer, Chris, I knew I found a special place. I was able to call their staff on their cell phones directly if I needed help. I can still use those numbers as a lifeline to brainstorm if needed on real world applications. Ive never seen this type of dedication from a training facility. They have a passion to see their students succeed.Ive been to several more classes here, all with high learning quality. They will provide relevant and precise information for not only what is on the test but also what you will find in real world. I also use this facility as my main certification testing facility. Ive used two other facilities in the past and each of those were no where near the standards of Computerminds. There might be a small issue with road noise, but earplugs they provide free of charge (they provided these at their old location and is not to address specifically road noise) solve this issue.In all, Computerminds is a great place with highly dedicated people who care about the people that walk through their door. I recommend going to Computerminds for any training and testing needs.

When I first went to computerminds I had some experience with Cisco equipment and had been attempting to get a CCNA for a about a year. I had already been through the Cisco Networking Academy with no success. After the course that I took here I learned the WHY behind what has to be done. This greatly helped with my understanding of Cisco, and I am currently taking more classes to get the CCNP. Everyone that I have met there are extremely friendly, and I I do not think I have ever seen Prabath without a smile on his face.

First time I came to Computerminds I knew enough to get by in the computer world. After the first day I knew i was in the right place. The teacher was awesome and very knowledgeable plus him being ADD like me really helped. I have learned so much from the classes I have taken including the Server bootcamp. Going into the server 2008 bootcamp I knew very little about them. The first test i took i only missed passing it by one question...... but Chris (teacher) told me that for not having any experience with servers that was really good. I look at it like I had an awesome teacher that really breaks it down for you to understand. The knowledge that i gained from the classroom has helped me maintain my jobs IT infrastructure.If you want real world training come to Computerminds and they will take care of you. When you walk in to Computerminds your not a number or statistic ....... You are a real person that will be given the best one on one training. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING BACK FOR MORE TRAINING

Poor Experience and Misinformation from Proctor and PearsonVUEI called this testing center to attempt to reschedule a PearsonVUE exam at no additional charge. I was having a severe reaction to a higher dose of prescription that I was taking for poison ivy. Having fulfilled the prescription the day before, I was within the 24-hour period to reschedule. I called both PearsonVUE and the testing center - computerminds. The proctor, Heather, advised me that I should come in later that day to take the exam because PearsonVUE would not reschedule and keep my $180.00 admission fee. Both the customer support and the proctor at this business expressed that quite clearly. I attended the exam and did not pass. Still, that day I had submitted documentation of doctor visits and so on. Come to find out from the IT Program Coordinator that I would have been allowed to reschedule at no additional cost because my documentation was accepted. He said that because I attended the exam, they could not reschedule and I would have to pay $180.00 to take it again.For the record, this business, computerminds, does not care about the test taker to advise someone suffering a medical reaction to a prescription drug to get in their car and drive to take a test. Secondly, they didnt provide me with reliable information regarding scheduling policy. I would have benefited to know that there was a solution in not attending and having my test rescheduled at not additional cost. Instead I got an ultimatum, and a lie when Heather advised me to take the exam. computerminds cost me time and money. Save yourself the trouble, and test somewhere else.UPDATE 7/9/2013The Pearson VUE Program Manager for Adobe has sent a voucher to reschedule the test. I will be rescheduling elsewhere unfortunately. To be fair, Ive tested often at this center and its been decent. However, proctor Heather communicated untrue statements in response to my complaint to the BBB and lied to me about a response from their director. This in addition to the misinformation provided has left a bad taste. Ive rated this business poor because they failed to listen and respond to my complaint and instead took a defensive posture towards my negative experience.I also question some of these recent reviews. If you ask me, they seem like damage control.
