Amanda kindly took me in during a season of my life wherein support meant life or death. Her compassion and warmth made me feel safe to explore and work through some deep traumas. She has a mindfulness approach to healing with a focus on the relationship between the physical body and the emotional/mental, which began the process multilevel healing and awareness for me. My life was truly saved by her empowering, loving voice and perspective. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough.It saddens me to see these 2 poor reviews as they are from folks who did not receive her treatment. Please give her a chance if you feel in your heart that you need a nurturing guide through your mental health journey. She really helped me change the trajectory of my life.

Amanda Lies is often away from office, which is not good for clients who need consistent work. She did little with the psychiatric aspect of treatment, and was inconsistent and awkward with talk therapy. She was also inconsistent implementing her policies. Would recommend attempting to find someone more professional for people looking for consistent and effective work.
