Passing through town, this is a great place to drop-in for some time with some weights. They have most of the toys that you would want and are especially equipped if you like to put together Movement or Crossfit style workouts on your own. The staff is incredibly welcoming and since they have cold brew on tap it is a great place to come through for an AM workout. I didnt have time to take a class but if kettlebells are your thing you should definitely do one.
I started with Trevor 8 years ago when he was at a previous gym, and went with him 4 (or so) years ago when he started his own place. Im 73, two replaced hips, but active ... 30 miles walking per week, 3 weekly sessions with Trevor, long day hikes during the summer. Trevor worked very well with the constraints the docs imposed on me after each hip replacement, and guided me back through rehab to full vigorous workouts with no restraints. He has the background knowledge (studies and a university degree related to fitness) to provide excellent training for all ages; plus the temperament and personality to make training fun and rewarding. Hes done a lot of youth coaching, for swimming, and gets along very well with the late teens. Three of my grandsons are working with him regularly. Three different kids, quite different needs and inclinations, but all happy to work with Trevor. Two of my daughters, in their 30s and 40s, have worked with him for years, and are very happy to work with him.During Covid Trevor has been able to accommodate the extra problems and work with me via Facetime, so hes on my computer and Im in a work room with weights and equipment. That has been working fine since early April, and Im writing this in early December.Summary: an excellent personal trainer, for all needs and all ages. Ive worked with four other personal trainers, and he is the best. Highly recommended.
Extremely clean at all times, awesome selection of weights, workout equipment, and recovery materials, and most importantly, an amazing group of trainers. Everyone is super friendly and professional. Couldn’t recommend more!
Best gym in town... Best gym Ive ever been too. Great instructors. Super Clean. Friendly members.
Trevor, the owner of Strength Lab Eugene, is a phenomenal trainer, and versatile enough that hes run me through conventional strength training, conditioning, triathlon preparation, and left me with a much-improved sense of how to train in a varied and effective way that has significantly improved my strength, mobility, and overall fitness.I strongly recommend his gym!
Personalized physical training that is top notch! Trevor and Ethan are amazing to work with!
I choose to train my clients here because of the owner, Trevor and the atmosphere in the gym. Strength and health is priority. Its full of kettlebells and powerlifting equipment and theres lots of open space to move. Theres lots of other movement practices here too! Hula hoop classes, AcroYoga classes, yoga, Broga, and collaborations with other businesses. I love Strength Lab Eugene!
Strength Lab Eugene is a beautiful facility and Trevor Hoke is a helluva great coach!
Awesome gym functional movement encouraged
